Yes, so far only positive, delicious experiences. Weekends very crowded and noisy in the evenings, you have to like it. Very, very pretty and idyllic outside when the weather is nice.

We ate here again today, it was so delicious, the food was great, we'll be back soon. The welcome was very warm. Everything around is just perfect.

Well, I'm not exactly sure how to start... Maybe so, I've been visiting the restaurant since 2021. The operator at the time was the best in all areas, whether service, price-performance ratio, taste and variety and and and... especially the starter plate!!!!!!!!!!!! The owner/operator then raised the prices a lot and at the same time reduced the portion size and unfortunately the dishes were too garlicky that you even got a tummy ache afterwards. The garlic potatoes are a no go!!! According to the motto, cover up the unsatisfactory taste. For me, the current operator has an attentive, good staff, good dishes, but very small portions. A small bowl of tzatziki with the meal is just ridiculous... For me it's quite clear that you're making great use of your unique selling point, like the Pizzeria UNO (more like it is) and other restaurants in Karlshorst!!! Except the Bohemian Garden and Al Dente. Unfortunately, the steak house has also deteriorated in terms of prices, but not staff, service and, unfortunately, some of the taste. The Wernes Grüner is laughable in terms of prices, service and quality of the food. As I found out, I only warmed up bagged stuff and dishes from the bag, not prepared myself like I used to, unfortunately... Not to mention the prices and the waiting time..... The penultimate time I was there was about two years ago and compared to the last time (on December 28th, 2024) it has really gotten worse. For example, the gyro tastes completely dry, as if it was kept warm all evening and whoever orders it gets some. The service wasn't very nice, a bit overwhelmed I would say, and the whole atmosphere had something of a mass-processing feel to it. The prices don't do the food justice. In any case, I won't eat there again.

The best Greek restaurant I have ever eaten at. The coordination between the individual courses is excellent. The food was fantastic! You will be asked if you came by car and the staff will ensure that you can park for free until midnight.

Yesterday the four of us were at Syrtaki and celebrated my birthday in a small group. The food was delicious and I felt so comfortable that I would love to come back tomorrow with two friends😉

Nope. Honestly, there aren't too many options in Karlshorst - and this restaurant isn't one either. The service: It was strange because it felt a bit like surveillance. My husband and I couldn't really have a conversation without being disturbed. To eat: carelessly prepared, greasy and the dishes don't have a good consistency. I think the Metaxa sauce was missing Metaxa... And otherwise it was cream (?). The food you ordered was delivered as soon as you sat down (most of the time it can't be seen as fresh). Spices were probably in short supply... In summary: the shop seemed like a check-in and there was a relaxed atmosphere where you can take your make-up off. It's not worth the money, regardless of the upset stomach :S You need to know :/

I was in this restaurant for the first time today and I absolutely cannot recommend it. The food tastes very neutral, to put it positively, and is definitely not fresh. After 10-15 minutes both the starter and the main course were there. It wasn't really well prepared either. It all seems a bit loveless. It wasn't really comfortable either, it was very dark and a bit clunky. In addition, the service was rather meh. Conclusion: NO, simply NO

It was good, quick service, plates were well filled and 5 seconds after taking a seat the first ouzo from the house was on the table It tasted good, it went well!

We ordered food to pick up and were very disappointed. Garlic bread and feta cream were very tasty, baked potatoes were bitter and not very seasoned and the gyros were very, very fatty, not crispy, we couldn't eat them and the portion of tzatziki was far too small

I've been to many Greek restaurants, but I really have to say: nowhere else have I eaten as good as here!! The meat dishes are wonderfully prepared, Everything very juicy and tender. Great quality of products. The service is great and the staff is courteous and very attentive, even when the store is full. It's certainly not the last time I'll be here. 5 stars is not an exaggeration. I'm looking forward to the next visit!

I ate there yesterday October 19, 24. I ordered a starter and a main course. Where should I put the two plates? The waiter didn't care. It tasted very burnt. I can't judge Octopus that way, but I'll try it again somewhere else. It was very tough and hopefully cooked through. The gyro was extremely burnt on the outside and still raw on the inside. Meat had had no taste at all. There are always cellars passing by the table and not asking if you want something to drink or if you can take the appetizer plate with you. Like at the snack bar. I could have eaten herb quark with the tzatziki, but that was absolutely nothing. The restaurant was very dark so the ambience was not great. If the excuse comes up that it was very full, which it was, then you have to hire more waiters. Then the door was left open and they smoked outside the door and dragged everyone into the restaurant. It wasn't very appetizing. Never again, it used to be better, today it's just a clearance.

Today we went to a birthday party with 16 people. We started eating allacart at 2 p.m. and finished around 5 p.m. We are coming back to the company Christmas party with 20 people. Thank you for the delicious food, the fast service and the friendly staff. LG Mario Kübler

Yesterday we just wanted to have a nice, stress-free evening with good conversations. Unfortunately nothing came of it. There was some student party going on in the restaurant. Unfortunately, they were so loud that you could hardly understand your own words. You literally had to shout at each other. Unfortunately, no consideration was given to the many other guests men. Otherwise the food was delicious. The bread and pepperoni were especially great. I found the gyros a bit mixed - it's not for me. If it had been less loud and hectic, it would definitely have been a nice evening...

We were looking forward to a lovely evening with Greek food. My wife and I love Greek cuisine. We had ordered food 108; Gyros gratinated with Edam and Metaxa sauce, served with a side salad. After a while the main course arrived, but without salad, which we had to point out. The baked one was quite black, not to say burnt. The gyro was a major disaster. Lumpy, tough and with flexes and veins, old dark meat, that's how it seemed to me. No stripes as I know it but bulbous and lumpy. I had never seen anything like it and neither had my wife. We were very disappointed. When clearing away the waiter didn't care about our answer as to why it wasn't good. I had fond memories of Syrtaki, but now I just dread it and we won't eat there anymore. I definitely can't recommend gyros at this Syrtaki. It was a disaster. And then paid so dearly for bad food. No thanks, we'd rather go somewhere else!

Unfortunately, this Greek place is no longer recommended...we went there again after a year! But we could have saved ourselves that, processing like in a snack bar.....the pre-made salad was on the table as soon as we ordered....the food arrived as soon as it was finished, not tasty! Liver and meat creamy and toe. ...garlic potatoes dripping with fat...! That's it, we'll never eat there again!

Another good restaurant less in Karlshorst, because both the food and service have deteriorated extremely. It took less than 10 minutes from the time we ordered our seven dishes until the food came to the table, which is often not a good sign. Unfortunately, the impression was quickly confirmed. Everything didn't seem fresh, but warmed up, was carelessly prepared and dry. The Metaxa sauce was probably missing and the lamb resembled the sole of a shoe. The service also makes you feel like you're being handled rather than being served in a friendly manner. The clean toilets and drinks are positive. It's a shame, we enjoyed going there regularly over the last 12 years. No longer an option now.

Had dinner at Syrtaki today. The service was good overall. After we received the drinks, the food was ordered. 1. 2x gyros with Metaxa sauce and Edam gratinated including fries, 2. 2x gyros spicy with fries and 3. 1x gyros with rice noodles. Overall you can say that it has nothing to do with gyros. The meat was sometimes more than seared, tough and completely mixed with whatever. It had nothing to do with Metaxa Sauce. More of a cream sauce Plempe with onions, but without metaxa! I also doubt whether it was Edam. The gyros plates (51+52) each had at least half a raw, sliced ​​vegetable onion. Who would eat something like that? The fries in all dishes were sticky and not through, including a hint of schnitzel. I don't even want to rate the salad plate that everyone gets, because I can't think of anything to say. 1 slice of cucumber, 1 slice of tomato, 1 salty pepperoni and the rest is old iceberg with thousand island dressing. It's a shame that a previously good Greek restaurant can become so run down. That's nothing anymore. Go somewhere else.

Best Greek in Karlshorst! Always friendly, always well attended, but there is always a spot available. Large portions at a reasonable price. Quality of all dishes tried so far has always been 1A! We always like to come back!

Decent Greek restaurant with good quality and reasonable prices. For dark beer fans, there is a pretty decent Lübzer. No bread is served, but that can be tolerated given the large portions. The terrace is very nice, where you can sit down in summer and is protected from the outside by a hedge.

My enthusiasm is limited. The food, as always, was very tasty. But the service has deteriorated a lot. You get your obligatory ouzo, order food and drinks and that's it. You will no longer be asked whether you would like to order something else or whether you are satisfied. I know other times from the Syrtaki. So you are just a paying guest and nothing else. A smile or friendliness =0. Very unfortunate. 😪

The worst Greek restaurant I've ever been to! Extremely unfriendly service, in general it seemed as if the waiter had no idea about his job or his menu. We ordered a drink, marked on the menu as number 205, after saying several times that we wanted that drink, he looked at us superstitiously and said huh... That's not possible and is extremely unprofessional!! As in other good Greek restaurants, there was no ouzo on the house at the start; it was only after a long time that the staff asked us whether we would like an ouzo. The food wasn't really great either, the Christ plate we ordered had frozen quark on the baked potatoes, which of course transferred to the potatoes and made the potatoes nice and cold. When asked about this, the waitress rolled her eyes and promised to bring new baked potatoes. After what felt like an eternity, new baked potatoes arrived, this time ones that you could eat. At the end we wanted to have food packed for us, after a long time nothing came, we asked the waiter and it was done - they had forgotten to pack the food. In the end we got the food packed to take away... All in all, an extremely bad, underground restaurant, unfriendly waiters who have no communication with each other, food that is not worth the price. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone! There are much better Greek restaurants in Berlin and the surrounding area... Once and never again!

Not great, not terrible. The food is ok, however the expensive price is unjustified: given the quality it should cost half as much and not more.

Solid Greek with decent and tasty portions. The permanent staff is attentive and quick, while the temporary staff have room for improvement. Ambience is okay, not too kitschy, but on the other hand it's just a new building next to the tracks. The drinks could be even better; At least they now have good ouzo on the menu, which is why you go to the Greek restaurant, but when it comes to beer they are unfortunately contractually bound to the Carlsberg Group. They don't accept tips, which I find very strange. If the boss has ordered this, you can secretly give the waiter cash. I have no idea what calculation is behind it, but it doesn't seem serious and leads to a point deduction.

We tried eating here yesterday and it was just disgusting. Despite the fact that the restaurant wasn't full, you had to wait 15 minutes for your drink, service was also very bad... I wanted to go out for a nice meal with friends in Karlshorst, but it was a total failure. Gyros tasted old and not fresh… I can't recommend it ever again.

Very nice staff, the food was very tasty and large portions. An extra card for children was great. The child even got something to color in. The food came very quickly (which was particularly convenient for us with the children), was hot and very good. There was ouzo at the reception and at the end. The only thing I didn't find very great was the narrowness. The tables and chairs were packed tightly together everywhere, so it was hard to get through...especially if someone came towards you. We will definitely come back anyway.

The ice cream salad was brown in places. Then came coleslaw, but unfortunately everything was missing the fact that it had been prepared with love. The meat was dry and gristly. When we were criticized, excuses were made and then the waiter ran away and left us sitting. I've been in the catering industry for over 20 years and this has never happened to me. We were very disappointed and felt ignored, we will never eat there again.

The worst Greek food experience ever. First of all the poor quality of the food, we ordered gyros complete dish ( gyros meat, french fries and salad ) and the salad was like from the day before, the french fries were not homemade, and the gyros meat came with half onion raw on top ( awful and not indicated on the menu) and also the meat had some bits of fat, not nice at all. And on top of that we ordered coca cola zero with ice and he brought us two glasses without ice with cola in it without bubbles and far away from being Coca-cola taste...we don't know if that was from a bottle already open or fritz cola ??? And for 2 complete gyros dish + 2 "scam" colas + pita bread w/ tzatziki sauce = 49€!!!!!! The worst 25€ I ever spent on food

Flawless! The staff was very friendly, always smiling, often asking with a pat on the back whether everything was okay. Really very pleasant to deal with the guests. The food came to the table very quickly, hot and well prepared. The garlic potatoes were really garlic potatoes, super tasty. The meat was cooked to just the right point and the flavor was well balanced. As usual from other restaurants, the ouzo was on the house before the meal. The ambience, my personal opinion. The benches are not inviting and are not comfortable to sit on. Nevertheless, I can really recommend this restaurant.

It was very crowded, very loud and there was no welcome ouzo. The Aperol Spritz was thin and watery and you had to find a new drink yourself. The food wasn't great. Unfortunately not a nice evening.

Went here for the first time yesterday and it was a disaster. Liver partly raw without any seasoning. About 500 grams of fried onions topped the whole meal. Fried potatoes bland and soggy with garlic cream that made everything soggy!! Tzatziki neutral. The full price is charged for this. Never again

The restaurant looks inviting from the outside and surprises with its size. It is modern but very tastefully decorated. The staff were all very nice, attentive & accommodating. The food was great. Large portions, nicely prepared. The tzatziki must be tried! An absolute highlight, creamy, not watery. Well seasoned. Plus fresh bread. The meat no matter what it was...was super juicy. Fries and garlic potatoes were tasty and crispy. We can recommend the restaurant and will come back ourselves.

Ich hätte so gerne 5 Sterne vergeben. Es stimmte wirklich alles mit einer Ausnahme, die für mich doch stark ins Gewicht fällt: Das Gyrosfleisch im überbackenen Gericht war leider etwas zu zäh. Da ich kein Koch bin, kann ich nicht beurteilen woran das gelegen hat. Ich kann nur sagen, dass ich die überbackenen Gyros in Metaxasosse fast immer beim Griechen bestelle und ich ab und zu doch zartere, weichere Gyros (trotz den typischen Cross-Rändern) bekommen habe. Ich werde aber wiederkehren und etwas anderes bestellen, weil alles was ich so auf den Tellern der Gäste gesehen habe sehr gut aussah und Lust machte es auszuprobieren. Vielleicht war auch nur das eine Schwein schon etwas älter ... Ich kann das Restaurant auf jeden Fall guten Gewissenes weiter empfehlen.

Es ist eine sehr schönes Restaurant. Wir waren hier mit etwa 17 Personen und wurden hervorragend bedient. Die Auswahl der Speisen und Getränke ist sehr umfangreich und so hat jeder sein Lieblingsessen, oder Getränk,gefunden. Die Speisen waren lecker und reichhaltig zubereitet. In Allem war es ein sehr schöner Nachmittag /Abend.
