Cute tiny sushi restaurant. The restaurant is so well-decorated you feel you're in Japan. Sushi taste was really good, makis a bit too big in my opinion, but we had a great time. Be aware that only cash payments are accepted

The sushi was freshly prepared in front of you. The house tea offered was super aromatic and very tasty. The quality of the sushi was outstanding. The fish/rice ratio was optimally balanced, which I have very rarely experienced. All in all, highly recommended.

The sushi tasted good. We had the “Happy Together” platter for 2 people. A choice of miso soup or tea is then offered as a starter. You can choose your tea from the cup on the wall. As a starter we had the Yakitori skewers - they were a bit cold but tasted good. The decoration is designed with great attention to detail and the restaurant comes across as very authentically Japanese.

This small sushi restaurant in the center of Cologne is a real insider tip. Not only does the sushi taste and serve outstanding, this little shop is like a portal to Japan. There is this sense of fine work that played an important role in the design nowhere else. The staff is also very nice and has been the same for over 20 years. However, there is one thing that forces me to only give the food four stars. The sushi is not cold and the selection is not large, but this makes up for the fantastic miso soup. The fact that the selection is too small is unfortunately still a flaw, but it also shows the quality and fine workmanship of the sushi restaurant. This shop is the crown jewel of sushi in Cologne and definitely worth a visit.

My friend and I discovered this little cute restaurant in Cologne in 2019. At first he was skeptical about the ramen and I was very curious about it because I've always wanted to eat real ramen. Conclusion: it was simply delicious and we can recommend it to everyone. The sushi 🍣 here is also simply delicious. We try to come to Cologne once a year because of this little restaurant.

Is this still an insider tip? A little gem in a busier area of ​​Cologne. The owners are very nice and accommodating. There isn't a lot of space, which is why we were there right when it opened. Excellent value for money. It's your own fault if you pay more somewhere else.

So ein schönes Lokal, sehr liebevoll eingerichtet, wir haben uns direkt wohl gefühlt. Super schön, dass man sich hier seinen eigenen Tee aussuchen kann. Alles wird frisch zubereitet und ästhetisch angerichtet. Die beiden Besitzer sind super freundlich und ich finde die Preise mehr als fair. Wir waren mittags hier und das Essen kam sehr schnell.

Als betrete man Japan, wenn man über die Türschwelle geht. Ambiente wie in einem Ghibli-Film. Das Sushi schmeckt hervorragend! Dringende Empfehlung.

What a hidden gem! The sushi was perfect, the place is super cute and authentic and service great! If you are looking for a true Japanese taste and vibe, you will love Sushi Nara!

Went on a spontaneous dinner on a Friday eve, and all expectations were exceeded. Restaurant is a tiny but well decorated place, that made the ambiance just perfect. Quality of sushi is great, and prices are very decent. Drinks were excellent, took the warm sake and Asahi beer. The service from the couple was the cherry on the cake.

Sehr leckeres Sushi, absolut zu empfehlen! Riesige Platten zum guten Preis, frische Zutaten, sehr freundliche Besitzer. Es gibt auch viele Teesorten zum probieren. Absolut empfehlenswert, ich bin ab diesem Zeitpunkt bestimmt einen Stammkunde bei denen.

We are delighted to have discovered this little place. From the moment we enter, we dive into Japan’s world. And the owners were very smiling and friendly, we were very well received. The sushi was perhaps slightly lacking in freshness with the rice but was still very good, the fish was very fresh. The miso soup was amazing. Very nice discovery 🍣

Traditionelles! Sushi in guter Qualität, Service und Preise jedoch schwankend bis absteigend. Komme seit über 6 Jahren recht regelmäßig, auch to go, und finde insbesondere die jüngsten Preiserhöhungen von teils 2 Euro pro Gericht "Tami" jetzt 16,50 statt 14,50 weder gut kommuniziert (einfach übermalt) noch gerechtfertigt, da die Rollen teilweise auch nicht mehr so fein gerollt sind wie früher, bzw. Reis und Fischqualität schwanken...Klar, es wir alles teurer, aber bei 3 Std. Öffnungszeit pro Tag (18-21 Uhr) könnte man wahrscheinlich auch besser an anderer Stelle wirtschaften (z.B. 4 Std. pro Tag öffnen und dafür konstante Preise und Qualität)...hoffe es geht bald wieder aufwärts, zumindest qualitativ...

Sushis are prepared as per order (not in advance) Delicious food, fresh fish and perfectly cooked rice and served at the right temperature. Friendly owner and very cute restaurant. Aan de bar passen max 6 mensen en er is een tafel voor vier (of vijf met kinderen op de bank). Daarnaast twee keer een twee persoonstafel.

Es werden überwiegend klassische Maki und Nigri serviert, allerdings in einer überragenden Qualität. Hier gibt es den besten Lachs, den ich bisher gegessen habe. Der Haustee ist ebenfalls sehr zu empfehlen!
