Very good quality for a very fair price!

We had reserved a table here with the family to round off our visit to Cologne. Everyone was extremely satisfied. The appetizers were excellent, as were the main courses. I had crispy chicken with peanut sauce, and I have to say it was one of the best peanut sauces I've ever had. The kids also had a blast and devoured everything.

Very tasty food, but unfortunately the young man in service was all alone in the almost full restaurant. This means a slightly longer waiting time.

The food is super tasty and visually beautifully presented. You can sit inside and outside. However, there is very little space inside and I didn't like the furnishings that much. Nevertheless, the food was perfect. I'd love to go there again.

Small restaurant with outdoor seating. Very good and tasty sushi with delicious sauces. Very friendly waiter, but unfortunately he was alone and you had to wait a bit to pay, but it was ok because we didn't have any stress. We were lucky and got a table without a reservation. Highly recommended.

The waiter was fantastic. We started with the summer roll appetizer and 2 Jasmin teas. They hit the spot since the weather has cooled down this week. I had sushi rolls and my daughter had the crunch chicken bowl. The food was fantastic. Would definitely recommend it. There is outdoor seating but it was a bit chilly so we ate inside.

We ate here twice and found it extremely tasty both times. Vegetarian spring rolls as a starter and butterfish in a clay pot with lots of vegetables - highly recommended. The sushi dishes are presented very elaborately and so the meal is also a visual experience. The Seevice is super fast. We are coming here a third time too.

Went there on a Friday evening. It was tasty but very little for the price. Unfortunately the tuna was not of high quality. The waiter was very friendly & quick. The toilets, however, are a disaster. Basically it's nice there but the price-performance ratio doesn't fit. We wouldn't come again.

I found this restaurant by their good rating in TripAdvisor - service was good (not grat, just good) , but food quality wasn’t. I would not come again in my next trip. I mean is not a “bad place” I think is a regular one but definitely a tourist trap

The food was good, fresh and there was also a vegetarian selection. I would recommend making reservations, it was quite busy even on a Sunday evening. The restaurant itself is cozy, but unfortunately you can't sit very well on the stools/benches without backrests, so you can't spend a whole evening here.

The sushi are top notch. Fish is very high quality and is delicious. Will definitely be back next time I’m in Köln

A very good Asian restaurant. The food was really very tasty and the vegetables didn't have the bite like they do in some other restaurants of this type when they are already overcooked. The price was also completely appropriate for the size and quality.

On Sunday, during a weekend trip, I discovered this little restaurant and spontaneously grabbed some sushi. The wait was very short, even though the place was busy. The staff was incredibly friendly. The best sushi I've ever eaten! I highly recommend it!

We happened upon the restaurant one evening, received a friendly welcome, and quickly got a table. The homemade lemonades are delicious, and the sushi also has a great selection, is good value for money, and tastes delicious! A lot of effort is put into the presentation. The service was exceptionally friendly and attentive!

Einfaches Interieur, etwas abgewohnt. Service sehr freundlich und auf Zeichen schnell da. Wartezeit kurz. Miso Suppe ausgezeichnet. Verschiedene Sushi ebenfalls top. Sehr angenehmes Verhältnis zwischen Reis und Füllung. Man schmeckt die Inhalte sehr gut raus. Auch nicht in Dressings ertrânkt. Schon die Präsentation des Sushi machte Lust darauf. Preis-Leistung fair.

Great shop with Asian fusion cuisine! Four of us were there spontaneously and got a table straight away. The service is very attentive, helpful and quick. Special requests such as “extra” spicy were dealt with professionally (the food was not “changed”, but various hot sauces were also served). The price level is absolutely fine. Please stick to the special card, there are already enough “uniform Asians”!

If you want to eat something quickly before your train leaves, this is a great restaurant. 5 minutes from the Hauptbahnhof.

Hallo, ich habe den Tipp von unserer Tochter bekommen und wir haben für eine Reservierung zum Abendessen angefragt. Wir bekamen eine E- Mail, dass es einige Minuten dauert und wir dann eine Antwort bekommen. Wir haben um einen Tisch um 20:00 Uhr angefragt, mittlerweile ist es kurz vor halb zehn und wir warten immer noch auf eine Antwort😡 Ich denke, dass man nicht nur das Essen sondern auch den Service beurteilen sollte! Damit hätte ich nicht gerechnet 😔

I'm not even living in Germany and I'm still thinking about Kuchi Mami. Probably the best sushi I've ever had. Service was very fast and polite, the presentation was delightful as well. 10/10, would go to Cologne just for this restaurant alone.

I've been there for the second time, the food comes quickly and it's a real treat. I had “Peanut Chicken Rice with Salad” for all the coconut chicken lovers, it was soo good. The jasmine tea is absolutely recommended. Price-performance ratio absolutely appropriate!! I'd love to come back.

Waiter has trouble with visitor. Not with us, but that influences the whole thing. Duck was dried up...

The two of us had dinner here on Friday evening for my birthday. Recommendation = 100% The food was incredibly tasty and the service from the young man was more than great! We sat in a small, cozy corner with a bench and chair where we were a little separated, which made us even more happy (we had a reservation). Gladly again 😍

The food is too sweet and salty. Duck meat is too dry. Salad is bitter. Staff talking in the kitchen too loudly. Not a very pleasant experience.

UPDATE: When paying, the waiter's attitude was not very friendly. I chose not to tip because I felt it was not worthy. Even though you know you are Vietnamese, you still speak German, ok, that's okay, but your attitude is angry and not very friendly compared to when you speak German with the rest of the customers in the restaurant! I took away the last 1 star, and if there were 0 stars, I would give it to you. Pretty bad, from the food to the atmosphere. We arrived at the restaurant at 2-3pm, the restaurant was quite empty. The only plus point is that the service is quite fast. The drink I ordered Yuzu Lemonade was so sweet, I actually had to add water to continue drinking it. Our main dish was Honey Duck and the duck meat was quite dry, the sauce was salty and nothing special. What I don't like is that the waiter and kitchen staff talk very loudly and profanely. And clearly they spoke in Vietnamese so I could understand. An unsatisfying experience.

I had visited Kuchi Mami during my short trip to Köln on NYE 2025, and I’m happy to say that the food here was stellar! It was my first time eating sushi, and I’ve not had better sushi since then! The duck there was delicious! I’ve been searching for restaurants that serve duck that good ever since, and haven’t found any! This place is a must go to in Köln!

Super nice little restaurant. We ordered a few different things and were thrilled with everything.

We were there on November 10th. eat at Kuchi Mami. After we had already walked past once on the way to the hotel, we reserved a table for the evening. We ordered sushi, I ordered a salad with mango and we shared the sticky rice with coconut milk and fruit for dessert. The restaurant is really not big and sometimes you wait a moment. Even guests who ordered sushi to go came after us and were served before us. However, the wait was worth it. The way the food was served was also unique. I had never seen a presentation like this before. In addition, the price-performance ratio was really great.

I did not give this restaurant 5 out of 5 stars because it is the best sushi restaurant, but rather you receive good value for your money: Portions are good, food tastes great, food is fresh, and the service is good (plus nice touch by using dry ice).

Ich hatte die Sushi Platte für eine Person. Es war klasse. Toll angerichtet und sehr lecker. Verschiedene Sorten, tolle Deko und das zu einem passenden Preis. Der Service war sehr freundlich, ich war sehr zufrieden!

17 Sushi gibt’s zusammengestellt vom Küchenchef für 24,-€, teils kross zubereitet und teils roh, auf vietnamesische Art des Hauses. Anders als ich es sonst von besuchten Japanern in D’dorf kenne und dort sehr schätze, allerdings auch wohlschmeckend, vernünftig portioniert, sättigend und ansprechend präsentiert. Ich war mit meiner Wahl zufrieden und die jungen Gäste um mich herum wirkten von ihrer eigenen Wahl - gut vernehmlich - ebenfalls angetan. Preis/Leistung stimmt.

Wonderfull little Thai fusion restaurant, heavily visited by the lunch crowd, which is always a good sign. The food here is magnificent. Very flavourful, and plates are richly stacked. Anything with duck is recommended, but the dumpling were tasty aswell. Make sure you come in time, because the restaurant fills up quickly

The fried chicken from the starter menu was to die for, I've never eaten better anywhere. The breading is very well seasoned, very crispy and the sauce that comes with it was also fantastic.

Unfortunately, the atmosphere seemed uninviting and a bit dingy. The sushi platter for 4 people consists mainly of decoration and offers so little that hardly anyone was full. In addition, it cost €70.00 and was therefore a punch in the stomach. A no-go for me!

High quality sushi! I like it when the fish is at room temperature and not from the fridge. Despite the touristic environment close to the Dom, the restaurant can be recommended.

A very nice place , went on date with my gf there and the food was amazing , the prices wore ok i guess ? by german standards at lest but it was worth it .

We spontaneously requested a table by email on Friday morning and received confirmation of our booking shortly afterwards. After our arrival at Cologne train station, we arrived at the restaurant a few minutes on foot. The service was extremely friendly and accommodating and we were rewarded with delicious cocktails and exceptionally good sushi. The restaurant is recommended in all respects. Thanks for the great evening. We'll definitely be back!

The food was delicious, but the service was very poor. Service didn't even come to the table once, we always had to get to them independently even though the shop was almost empty at the end.
