The food is very good and traditional. As soon as you sit down at a table they give you free starters of different things. The service was very good and the price was correct.

Unfortunately, you cannot technically post a review with zero stars here, this is how the awarding of one star is explained: This is my first review but I would like to share our experience with other guests. Looking back, I can hardly believe that there are so many positive reviews. I only chose the store because of these positive reviews. So today we went there for dinner with my family of 6 to celebrate my daughter's 11th birthday. We were all really looking forward to the food. I should have been warned when Keller, when asked whether a portion of noodle soup could be made less spicy, replied that it wasn't possible because "the soup doesn't taste like anything without the powder." What can I say… we seriously got instant noodle soups for main courses that cost a maximum of 50 cents to purchase. It was underground. Even though I saw and tasted it, I couldn't believe it and asked if they were really ready-made packets. The extremely friendly operator immediately confirmed this and explained to me in detail how they first cut the packets open and then pour hot water over the instant noodles. When I said; that I would have expected a freshly made broth in a Korean restaurant, she said that there was also a dish with homemade noodles and broth. I should have chosen that. There was no indication of this anywhere on the map. I've never experienced anything like this. My children cook YUMYUM noodles at home all the time. We wouldn't have had to go out to eat and we wouldn't have paid 10 euros per packet of soup. Craziness. That was our first and our last visit. Too bad.

Great food, crunchy vegetables, crispy chicken, unobtrusive, friendly, prompt service. Perfect for eating something delicious quickly. The ambience is rather simple, not disturbing, but you sit on stools. That's ok for eating, but it doesn't invite you to stay for long.

Super delicious experience hehehe. I have never had such delicious beef bone soup in China. I ordered 4 dishes for only 50 euros! ! It’s a really affordable and delicious store! ! ! ! It was almost full on a Friday night! Make an appointment if possible! But you should be able to get a seat if you come directly! ! The landlady came up and gave me a lot of side dishes! ! The owner is an ethnic Korean from Yanbian, and everyone at the restaurant is very warm and friendly. The flavors are authentic, making people from Yanbian feel right at home. 😍😍😍 The beef bone soup is incredibly delicious ❤️, and the seaweed rolls taste just like the ones back home in Yanbian. 🤩

It was the most expensive instant noodles I've ever had in my life.I was expecting authentic ramen noodles, similar to what we had at a Chinese restaurant in Valencia. Instead, we received what appeared to be regular instant noodles from a typical shop, with a few added vegetables that didn't significantly enhance the dish.Perhaps there was a misunderstanding on our part, but we found the experience quite unexpected. On a positive note, they forgot our beer order, which turned out to be fortunate given the circumstances.

The waiting time here was unbelievable—we waited over 40 minutes, and when we asked the owner when our food would be ready, she was so dismissive and just told us to ‘be patient.’ In the end, it took almost an hour to get our dishes, and by then, I had completely lost my appetite. When I expressed my frustration, she arrogantly said if I didn’t want my food, she’d just give it to someone else. That was so rude! And she was noticeably nicer to others but seemed really rude to Asian customers, including me. Honestly, this experience was so disappointing.

Absolutely delicious, super fast and courteous service. The Kimchi Pancakes & Chicken Wings are particularly recommended! A bit small and not quite as comfortable seats (stools) but otherwise great!

Authentic Korean food, highly recommended!

I went there on a Saturday lunchtime without a reservation but they could find me a place. There was plenty of place to sit at the time I finished my meal. The food with all those banchan was good, I wanted to try tofu stew but we couldn't communicate well during ordering so I went with the Korean chicken instead. It was quite nice. They accepted card payment

Although it is a Korean restaurant, it does not taste like Korea. The rice was hard and dry and the chicken was also dry. The taste of the seasoning lacks the sweetness of Korean seasoned chicken. The beef in Yukgaejang and the beef in Bibimbap are cut into equal size pieces. My foreign friend had high expectations and ordered beef stew, saying it was scharf Rindfleisch Suppe, but was very disappointed because there were only a few pieces of meat. There was no sesame oil in the bibimbap. The rice of bibimbap is hard. It would have been worth it if the price had been cheaper, but it was expensive. If you want to pack leftover food, the staff will bring you an empty container and tell you to pack it yourself. I came all the way to Cologne to eat there after reading the Google reviews, but I was disappointed.

Very good menu and very nice staff. The restaurant is decorated in a typical Korean style...simple but very nice. The food was very tasty and beforehand there were 6 different small ingredients. IN SHORT.....It's worth it.

Very authentic Korean cuisine, plus delicious soju and Cass beer! Fried chicken, bibimbap and kimchi are highly recommended and there is also very attentive, friendly service!

Visited this restaurant today. We are pleasantly surprised. The food is very tasty, huge portions. Lots of snacks. Very friendly staff. The room is comfortable and cozy. I ate Korean food for the first time and I really liked it. Pleasant prices. We will definitely come again.

The soy sauce marinated chicken tastes great and the stir-fried squid is also delicious. This is perfect for Koreans who ask for their dishes to be spicier.

My food was good, payment was easy (contactless with ApplePay was no problem). I would definitely like to come back there!

The food here is delicious. First you get a small selection of “starters” which means the food here is always very varied. We also had the fried chicken, gimbap and glass noodles with vegetables. The glaze on the chicken was nice and sweet and the meat was very juicy. The gimbap with the crunchy radish was also delicious. The glass noodles didn't really impress us. They stuck together a lot and unfortunately had little taste apart from the fried onions. We would probably not order this dish again. But the rest was excellent. The staff is super friendly, attentive and the food is served very quickly. However, I would definitely make a reservation because the shop is relatively small and is always busy.

The best Korean restaurant in Cologne...👍 Even though it was the farthest Korean restaurant from my accommodation, it was worth visiting! I went to a lot of Korean restaurants while traveling here and there, and the budae-jjigae here really tasted like the best budae-jjigae restaurants in Korea. The staff are friendly, so I went home after dinner in a good mood! It was a weekday, but the place was always full, and a lot of local people came. I took a quick look at the kimbap from the table next to me, and it looked substantial and delicious. I highly recommend this place to Koreans~

I went to the Hana Korean Kitchen in Cologne for the first time on August 9th, 2024 on the recommendation of a friend and somehow after going to the cinema that day I had an incredible craving for Korean food, but something a little different from the standard dishes. In short: I fell in love with the restaurant. We (my friend accompanied me) had a nice chat with the incredibly friendly operator while we ate and, despite the restaurant atmosphere, it felt more like a visit to friends. That day I decided on Haemul Pajeon (Korean pancake with seafood) and Ozinger Bokkeum (fried squid with vegetables and a pleasant spiciness) as well as Korean beer and Milkis. The food was brought very quickly by the absolutely lovely chef and was really well prepared, a dream. The prices here were also very fair and I'm already looking forward to the next visit, which I'm spontaneously planning for today :) I live in Bonn, but the manageable journey is definitely worth it and there's a wonderful selection here of dishes that, for me, characterize Korean cuisine. Very big recommendation :)

It was good because it had a variety of ingredients, and the jjamppong had a fiery taste, so it really tasted like eating in Korea. The side dishes were also very delicious!! Was there today with a friend, 10 minutes waiting time without a reservation. We ordered Yangnyeom chicken large, plus 2 side dishes. The portion was sufficient for medium hunger. Banchan and rice were also included. It was very tasty and the taste was convincing.

The food was really not good and the tteokbokki didn't taste like anything and were too soft. I was really looking forward to the meal but unfortunately the beef soup was just a mild broth. Then we wanted to have tofu with a dish, but unfortunately you can't order any extras here. From looking at it, the food all looked delicious! If you could add that as an option that would be great! Super tasty Korean food at fair prices. There is a parking garage not far away (under Rewe). Card payment is possible (Visa and MasterCard). The service was friendly and quick. We were there on Friday evening and were lucky to get a table. You should therefore reserve a table. You can also pack food or order it via Uber eats, among other things.

Great tasting Korean food! We ordered cold noodles, bibimbap, seafood pancake, spicy stir-fried pork and fried chicken. Each one is super delicious and authentic. The complimentary side dishes are also very rich and delicious!

Thanks to the lovely chef and the proprietress for providing me with countless perfect dinner experiences! Same today! I've eaten almost every dish on the menu and every dish has been very good. Especially recommend the Korean bibimbap and beef bone soup! You will regret it if you miss it!

Have been there several times and ordered something to take away. In our case bulgogi with beef and jap-chae. I'm a really big lover of Korean food, my husband loves Asian food but it has to be really good, the food there is really amazing ☺️ There you are greeted with a smile and a nice atmosphere and the portions are great and more than enough. We were more than full for two people and ate the bulgogi and jap-chae cold today and it was just as delicious as when I got the food yesterday. (Bulgogi and Jap-chae are also good combinations for people who like beef. Otherwise there are vegetarian options too!) A tip and recommendation goes especially to the side dish: Korean-style pickled potatoes. The. Are. The. Absolute. Awesome 🤤 They're easy to overlook and underestimate, but they really were a highlight! Definitely going back in the future if we're craving some good Korean food!

People who wanna try korean food, this is the place you should visit🙌💕 I had cold noodles for lunch and it was so big that I can’t even finish my meal. I really wanted to eat Korean food while traveling in Europe, and I found a really delicious Korean restaurant in Germany!!! The owner is very kind, and most of all, the kimchi is aged, so it is truly Korean kimchi. And of course the rice was Korean, so I enjoyed it very much. I highly recommend the cold noodles and soft tofu stew haha.

It was a really nice place with incredibly lovely staff. Very friendly and accommodating. Whatever you order comes with side dishes included, the tofu was absolutely delicious. We ordered bulgogi and fried chicken. The bulgogi was very well prepared but unfortunately my counterpart's food tasted better than mine. I can only recommend the fried chicken, the sweet and spicy sauce was really good. 🫶

I have never been able to eat so quickly in a restaurant, even at peak time. Beforehand, some small appetizers were served, which also tasted delicious. We ate the fried chicken with bibimbab. Both very aromatic, generous portions and very well prepared. I can really only recommend it!

They are hospital and the food is authentic. I am Korean and I know a lot of Korean restaurant in Europe is fake Chinese, and this place is absolutely not one of those. I appreciate their kindness and hospitality they showed to our kids also.

Highlight: I didn't get a receipt. It seems they cheat on taxes. Pluses: Jeyuk Bokkeum was tasty. Big portion. Minuses: Kimchi was the worst I've ever ate. Beef bulgogi was mainly consisting of onion. I didn't pay 16,90 to eat onion... Ramyun was OK 5/10. The place looks strange, it doesn't try to be authentic Korean spot. Decor is Japanese, staff is Chinese.

When I entered the restaurant, the waitress acted like she was excited. After I ordered the food was served with a very bad attitude, the food was served while the phone was being answered. And very rude to throw it on the table, very disrespectful to the guests! I'm sorry to say that after eating I farted all night, had diarrhea and didn't fall asleep until the middle of the night! I'm sorry I won't come back because it was really bad! If you are trying to lose weight, I think getting a diarrhea pack here would be a good choice.

I had dinner there with my girlfriend today. We tried a wide range of dishes and there was nothing to complain about with any of them. The portions are generous and the service was top, and the interior design was nice, although nothing special. All in all it deserves 5 stars, but in my opinion there is no such thing as perfect, hence the one point deduction. Would go there again at any time!

Not authentic Korean food. Not even mediocre Korean food. The interior is Japenese lol and the owners possibly Chinese. Service was nice and friendly at least but I wouldnt spend my money here.

We decided to try this restaurant because of its high rating on Google. While all the dishes tasted good, they didn’t quite hit the mark for authentic Korean cuisine. It's a decent place for a meal, but I wouldn't make it my first choice if you're looking for truly authentic Korean food.

Great food, great service, Unfortunately not really comfortable

I always order kimbap every time I go, and it's so delicious. I recommend all types of kimbap. But when I went this time, the food had a very musty smell... I ordered beef stew and rib soup. The rib stew smelled sour and had a very strange, musty, rotten smell from the lamb. And it was supposed to be a well-boiled rib stew, but the ribs (meat) had no taste and the meat felt dry... ㅠ When I tried the soup, the taste of the soup wasn't bad, but the smell was so bad that I couldn't eat any more and just shared the beef stew with my friend. But the beef stew had too much oil. I've tried seafood and green onion pancakes and kimchi pancakes in the past, and regardless of the taste, they seemed completely soaked in oil, and the same goes for the beef stew.... I was completely disappointed with the galbitang, and I couldn't say anything, so I don't think I'll ever eat it again. If it's not spoiled, how can it smell like that? ...?? I'm disappointed. It was my favorite restaurant.
