Small place with minimal seats, not sure if reservation is a thing there but can be difficult to get a seat. They also do take away fortunately. Had the Galbi Tang and it was amazing, generous portion and delicious, please don’t change a single thing!

This restaurant is simply sensational! I have rarely eaten such incredibly delicious dishes – each one was a true taste sensation! The flavors were intense, perfectly balanced, and absolutely incomparable. The meat was melt-in-your-mouth tender, the side dishes fresh and varied, and the sauces… simply heavenly! I would have loved to order everything twice! The service was exceptional. The staff is incredibly friendly, attentive, and warm. You can immediately tell that they do their job with great passion. Even before you had to ask, someone was there – always with a smile and great patience. I am truly impressed. This restaurant is already one of the best in all of Cologne for me. I will definitely be back – and very soon!

I really didn't expect it to be so delicious. I was absolutely thrilled. The lunch special included small tapas, and I got to try five different amazing pickles. I also had kimchi jjigae (I ate the soup while waiting for my train, not at the restaurant), and it was so refreshing in the cold weather. It was spicy, but very pleasant for a European palate 😉 The kimchi was tender and fell apart easily, the tofu was fantastic, and the pork belly was delicious, too. Now I'm having the rice at home this evening, and I think it's so well prepared! All the grains are cooked through and deliciously sticky, yet still with air between them. Just add some soy sauce, and it's perfect.

Bulgogi didn’t taste like Korean style .. it’s tasted like Chinese style beef stir fried with oyster sauce. 😅 and everything inside feels like I was in a Chinese restaurant.

The waiters were all incredibly friendly, however, the food was very disappointing. Nothing tasted fresh. It tasted more like old food that had been reheated. The tea (served with tea bags) smelled very strange. A real waste of money!

I stumbled upon this restaurant by chance. Reservations are recommended, as seating is limited. This, however, makes for a very cozy experience. The service is incredibly friendly, quick, and helpful. Guest satisfaction is clearly the top priority. The food is simply delicious, and the portions are generous. And if you happen to order too much, you can even take the leftovers home. I felt very comfortable and will definitely return. A visit here is absolutely worthwhile.

It just didn’t taste like Korean food, it doesn’t taste good and the ingredients seemed low quality.

Because it was the Anuga event, other restaurants had long lines, but fortunately, because this place was located a short distance from the main event, I didn't have to wait. The kimbap and budaejjigae were both delicious, and the portions were generous, so I enjoyed my meal.

The soft tofu stew was as salty as salt soup. You could almost feel the salt in each grain, and the stew contained strange fish cakes, a few strands of bean sprouts, and what looked like mala-tang noodles, so I threw it away because it was so unpleasant. It's either not a Korean restaurant or... there's a huge problem. It's the worst.

We stumbled upon this place for lunch by chance and were pleasantly surprised. We were served a "greeting" from the kitchen without asking, which came in several small bowls and was a delicious starter. The main course could be improved a bit. My friend had fried tofu, which was unfortunately drenched in sweet and sour sauce, and I had vegetable soup with seafood, which was difficult to find and tasteless. Nevertheless, overall (atmosphere, service & top-notch greeting from the kitchen) it was good, so we will try it again.

My Korean colleague took me and a few colleagues to this restaurant. Really excellent food and excellent service. It's very busy because it is at a very busy street corner. But my colleague reserved a big table for 7 at the back of the restaurant, which was quieter. One of my colleagues has gluten allergy, and they did not really know how to deal with that because soy sauce is not gluten free.

Delicious Korean food! Very friendly and fast service. The chicken is delicious, and the kimchi is very good. The bulgogi beef was a bit coarse for my taste and had too many onions. The portions are decent.

I'm at a loss as to how this place could have received so many positive reviews. The Korean chicken tasted like it had been soaked in soy sauce for days, the japchae noodles turned out to be regular glass noodles, probably made with rice flour, not sweet potato, and they tasted more like dripping greasy, like you'd expect from a Chinese takeout fried noodle. The tteokbokki were coated in a jelly-like, far too sweet sauce. This "Korean" restaurant is far from good Korean food. Rather, I suspect the owners are from another Asian country and have jumped on the Korean trend.

Good Korean food, delicious side dishes.

The food is so good that I sometimes drive two hours to Cologne just to eat here. Hands down, my favorite Korean restaurant in NRW. Whatever you order — everything is top tier. The portions are big, and they also serve extra rice and banchan (free side dishes), so you’ll never leave hungry. My personal recommendations: Sundubu Jjigae and Galbi Tang. Highly recommend!

First of all, the staff is soooooo kind!! Free kimchi for Koreans!! I ordered kimchi stew, soft tofu, bibimbap, cold noodles, and stir-fried pork, and they were all gone!!!! All the food was soooo good!!!!

I walked in spontaneously and got a seat without any problems. The staff was super friendly. The atmosphere was simple but nice. I had the vegan mandu and they were really good. The banchan were all really tasty too, and they even had my favorite, gamja jorim. These are braised potatoes in sweet soy sauce. I also had galbi tang, a Korean soup with beef rib, radish, and glass noodles, served with a bowl of rice. Super tasty. The broth was very good. The portion was really filling. I'd go back!

The taste of food is almost no difference as in Yanji, China. Also the free offered appetizers are amazing!

Best Korean restaurant in Cologne!!

The food was delicious, and the staff were incredibly friendly. The service was quick, and they often asked if we needed anything else. The portions were !very! generous. Everything tasted wonderfully homemade. We're glad we tried something new.

I went there around 1pm on a weekday and ate the lunch special. I ordered tofu bibimbap and soft tofu, which were 9.9 euros each. It was a great value for money!!! The side dishes with the tofu bibimbap were also delicious, and they gave me gochujang separately, so I could put as much as I wanted in. The soft tofu stew was also really delicious. It tasted like seafood soft tofu with a bit of jjambbong flavor?! It was so delicious that I was really surprised. They also gave me 7 kinds of side dishes. It was the best value for money among all the Korean restaurants I've had abroad. The food was also delicious overall! The staff didn't seem like Koreans and seemed to speak Chinese, but they were kind!

Very disappointing. The food was not tasty at all – overpriced and tasted very poor. I can't recommend this restaurant at all. We were served plain old cucumbers. The pickled cucumber and sprouts were obviously not fresh.

As my trip to Europe became longer, I stopped by because I really wanted to eat Korean food. I ordered jeyuk, kimbap, and rabokki, and when I saw the side dishes and free water, I thought this was Korean food. The pork and kimbap were really delicious, but the Rabokki was a bit disappointing. I was grateful that the owner took the time to make sure he knew. If there's one thing that's disappointing, it's that the food took a very long time. It seemed like it took about 30 to 40 minutes, probably because I missed the order.

Delicious, hearty in Korean style

The menu is a bit limited or not well thought out for vegetarians because the main courses with the great marinades are not offered with tofu. Why isn't this available as an option? Other Asian restaurants demonstrate how easy it is to offer every dish with either meat or tofu. Tofu can also be coated, fried and marinated ;) The only interesting tofu main course was drowned in bottled sweet and sour sauce. Unfortunately that didn't work or was just way too sweet and therefore very powerful and unhealthy. In terms of service and interior, Hana is a good restaurant and is certainly recommended for meat eaters. Worth mentioning are the starters that are placed on the table before eating instead of bread. Delicious! With small changes, Hana would become even better and, above all, friendlier for vegetarians. We would be happy to come back if something happens there.

We have been trying many different Korean Fried Chicken restaurants in Cologne and Düsseldorf since last year and therefore have some experience of comparison. The fried chicken here was okay in terms of taste, but the portions were quite small for the price. For the same money, you can get larger and often even tastier portions at other Korean restaurants. Overall it was okay, but nothing more.

We were absolutely satisfied! We spontaneously went there for dinner on Friday lunchtime. The ambience is simple but stylish and you immediately feel at home. The service was very attentive and the food and drinks were served quickly. The taste was excellent and the price-performance ratio was also convincing. We left satisfied and will definitely not be there for the last time. Another plus point: There is a parking garage right next door.

I've never been to Korea, and I've never eaten Korean food. I'm completely familiar with Asian cuisine, with the exception of Thai, Vietnamese, and Indonesian cuisine. Taste is subjective, but unfortunately, I didn't like the food at all; in fact, it was tasteless. The mandus were okay, but the Sundubu Jjigae—tofu stew with seafood and vegetables—was completely unseasoned. I found about five pea-sized pieces of—maybe they were—mushrooms, and a thumb-sized piece of octopus. A few onions as vegetables and a lot of mushy, mushy tofu. The Jeyuk Bokkeum—marinated pork with vegetables—also disappointed me. I was expecting fatty pork belly, maybe even crispy, but it was wafer-thin sliced ​​beef, definitely not pork. The vegetables were meager: two red/yellow bell peppers, three sliced ​​carrots, and a few onions. I asked for both dishes to be really spicy! It was okay, but there was room for improvement. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I won't eat there again, but I'll definitely give Korean cuisine another chance somewhere else.

I ordered kimchi stew and ate it, but the meat smelled really... bad. The musty smell permeated the tofu and the entire soup. ㅜㅜ Of course, the meat was completely inedible. Best food I've had outside the restaurant in a long time. Japachae Tofu, so simple and incredibly tasty with good roasted flavors. Cozy inside. You were quickly greeted and brought to your table. Food came quickly and tasted freshly cooked.

Very tasty Korean Fried Chicken. Unlike other Korean restaurants, the fried chicken comes with a homemade sauce. So if you like it “natural”, in sweet or soy sauce, this is the wrong place for you. The chicken is also cut much more bite-sized than others. The bulgogi with chicken (spicy) was also very tasty. The portions are appropriately large for the price. The service was quick and courteous. You can pay by card or in cash. Due to the small number of tables, it is better to reserve a table.

Unfortunately, you cannot technically post a review with zero stars here, this is how the awarding of one star is explained: This is my first review but I would like to share our experience with other guests. Looking back, I can hardly believe that there are so many positive reviews. I only chose the store because of these positive reviews. So today we went there for dinner with my family of 6 to celebrate my daughter's 11th birthday. We were all really looking forward to the food. I should have been warned when Keller, when asked whether a portion of noodle soup could be made less spicy, replied that it wasn't possible because "the soup doesn't taste like anything without the powder." What can I say… we seriously got instant noodle soups for main courses that cost a maximum of 50 cents to purchase. It was underground. Even though I saw and tasted it, I couldn't believe it and asked if they were really ready-made packets. The extremely friendly operator immediately confirmed this and explained to me in detail how they first cut the packets open and then pour hot water over the instant noodles. When I said; that I would have expected a freshly made broth in a Korean restaurant, she said that there was also a dish with homemade noodles and broth. I should have chosen that. There was no indication of this anywhere on the map. I've never experienced anything like this. My children cook YUMYUM noodles at home all the time. We wouldn't have had to go out to eat and we wouldn't have paid 10 euros per packet of soup. Craziness. That was our first and our last visit. Too bad.

Great food, crunchy vegetables, crispy chicken, unobtrusive, friendly, prompt service. Perfect for eating something delicious quickly. The ambience is rather simple, not disturbing, but you sit on stools. That's ok for eating, but it doesn't invite you to stay for long.
