Visited this restaurant today. We are pleasantly surprised. The food is very tasty, huge portions. Lots of snacks. Very friendly staff. The room is comfortable and cozy. I ate Korean food for the first time and I really liked it. Pleasant prices. We will definitely come again.

Great food, crunchy vegetables, crispy chicken, unobtrusive, friendly, prompt service. Perfect for eating something delicious quickly. The ambience is rather simple, not disturbing, but you sit on stools. That's ok for eating, but it doesn't invite you to stay for long.

Small (not the food, the shop) but nice. Very tasty bibimbap with all the side dishes your heart desires. Incredibly friendly service at the table! With always clean and set tables. My food was good, payment was easy (contactless with ApplePay was no problem). I would definitely like to come back there!

It's delicious here. The jjamppong is better than what I've had in Korea, and the bibimbap is also well-balanced. The lady boss took good care of me, so I ate well.

The food here is delicious. First you get a small selection of “starters” which means the food here is always very varied. We also had the fried chicken, gimbap and glass noodles with vegetables. The glaze on the chicken was nice and sweet and the meat was very juicy. The gimbap with the crunchy radish was also delicious. The glass noodles didn't really impress us. They stuck together a lot and unfortunately had little taste apart from the fried onions. We would probably not order this dish again. But the rest was excellent. The staff is super friendly, attentive and the food is served very quickly. However, I would definitely make a reservation because the shop is relatively small and is always busy.

The best Korean restaurant in Cologne...👍 Even though it was the farthest Korean restaurant from my accommodation, it was worth visiting! I went to a lot of Korean restaurants while traveling here and there, and the budae-jjigae here really tasted like the best budae-jjigae restaurants in Korea. The staff are friendly, so I went home after dinner in a good mood! It was a weekday, but the place was always full, and a lot of local people came. I took a quick look at the kimbap from the table next to me, and it looked substantial and delicious. I highly recommend this place to Koreans~

I went to the Hana Korean Kitchen in Cologne for the first time on August 9th, 2024 on the recommendation of a friend and somehow after going to the cinema that day I had an incredible craving for Korean food, but something a little different from the standard dishes. In short: I fell in love with the restaurant. We (my friend accompanied me) had a nice chat with the incredibly friendly operator while we ate and, despite the restaurant atmosphere, it felt more like a visit to friends. That day I decided on Haemul Pajeon (Korean pancake with seafood) and Ozinger Bokkeum (fried squid with vegetables and a pleasant spiciness) as well as Korean beer and Milkis. The food was brought very quickly by the absolutely lovely chef and was really well prepared, a dream. The prices here were also very fair and I'm already looking forward to the next visit, which I'm spontaneously planning for today :) I live in Bonn, but the manageable journey is definitely worth it and there's a wonderful selection here of dishes that, for me, characterize Korean cuisine. Very big recommendation :)

The store was very comfortable and the staff were friendly. I ordered bibimbap, jjamppong, and rabokki. Was there today with a friend, 10 minutes waiting time without a reservation. We ordered Yangnyeom chicken large, plus 2 side dishes. The portion was sufficient for medium hunger. Banchan and rice were also included. It was very tasty and the taste was convincing.

The food was really not good and the tteokbokki didn't taste like anything and were too soft. I was really looking forward to the meal but unfortunately the beef soup was just a mild broth. Then we wanted to have tofu with a dish, but unfortunately you can't order any extras here. From looking at it, the food all looked delicious! If you could add that as an option that would be great! Super tasty Korean food at fair prices. There is a parking garage not far away (under Rewe). Card payment is possible (Visa and MasterCard). The service was friendly and quick. We were there on Friday evening and were lucky to get a table. You should therefore reserve a table. You can also pack food or order it via Uber eats, among other things.

Great tasting Korean food! We ordered cold noodles, bibimbap, seafood pancake, spicy stir-fried pork and fried chicken. Each one is super delicious and authentic. The complimentary side dishes are also very rich and delicious!

Have been there several times and ordered something to take away. In our case bulgogi with beef and jap-chae. I'm a really big lover of Korean food, my husband loves Asian food but it has to be really good, the food there is really amazing ☺️ There you are greeted with a smile and a nice atmosphere and the portions are great and more than enough. We were more than full for two people and ate the bulgogi and jap-chae cold today and it was just as delicious as when I got the food yesterday. (Bulgogi and Jap-chae are also good combinations for people who like beef. Otherwise there are vegetarian options too!) A tip and recommendation goes especially to the side dish: Korean-style pickled potatoes. The. Are. The. Absolute. Awesome 🤤 They're easy to overlook and underestimate, but they really were a highlight! Definitely going back in the future if we're craving some good Korean food!

I really wanted to eat Korean food while traveling in Europe, and I found a really delicious Korean restaurant in Germany!!! The owner is very kind, and most of all, the kimchi is aged, so it is truly Korean kimchi. And of course the rice was Korean, so I enjoyed it very much. I highly recommend the cold noodles and soft tofu stew haha.

We ordered bulgogi and fried chicken. The bulgogi was very well prepared but unfortunately my counterpart's food tasted better than mine. I can only recommend the fried chicken, the sweet and spicy sauce was really good. 🫶

They are hospital and the food is authentic. I am Korean and I know a lot of Korean restaurant in Europe is fake Chinese, and this place is absolutely not one of those. I appreciate their kindness and hospitality they showed to our kids also.

Beef bulgogi was mainly consisting of onion. I didn't pay 16,90 to eat onion... Ramyun was OK 5/10. The place looks strange, it doesn't try to be authentic Korean spot. Decor is Japanese, staff is Chinese.

I had dinner there with my girlfriend today. We tried a wide range of dishes and there was nothing to complain about with any of them. The portions are generous and the service was top, and the interior design was nice, although nothing special. All in all it deserves 5 stars, but in my opinion there is no such thing as perfect, hence the one point deduction. Would go there again at any time!

When I entered the restaurant, the waitress acted like she was excited. After I ordered the food was served with a very bad attitude, the food was served while the phone was being answered. And very rude to throw it on the table, very disrespectful to the guests! I'm sorry to say that after eating I farted all night, had diarrhea and didn't fall asleep until the middle of the night! I'm sorry I won't come back because it was really bad! If you are trying to lose weight, I think getting a diarrhea pack here would be a good choice.

We decided to try this restaurant because of its high rating on Google. While all the dishes tasted good, they didn’t quite hit the mark for authentic Korean cuisine. It's a decent place for a meal, but I wouldn't make it my first choice if you're looking for truly authentic Korean food.

I always order kimbap every time I go, and it's so delicious. I recommend all types of kimbap. But when I went this time, the food had a very musty smell... I ordered beef stew and rib soup. The rib stew smelled sour and had a very strange, musty, rotten smell from the lamb. And it was supposed to be a well-boiled rib stew, but the ribs (meat) had no taste and the meat felt dry... ㅠ When I tried the soup, the taste of the soup wasn't bad, but the smell was so bad that I couldn't eat any more and just shared the beef stew with my friend. But the beef stew had too much oil. I've tried seafood and green onion pancakes and kimchi pancakes in the past, and regardless of the taste, they seemed completely soaked in oil, and the same goes for the beef stew.... I was completely disappointed with the galbitang, and I couldn't say anything, so I don't think I'll ever eat it again. If it's not spoiled, how can it smell like that? ...?? I'm disappointed. It was my favorite restaurant.

An authentic Korean restaurant just on the periphery of the Cologne city enter. A wide variety of home-cooked and standard meals are on the menu and on the lunch menu. Very generous portion and fast and friendly service. Highly recommended when you have time to take line 12 and 16 to stop at Zülpicher Platz or Barbarosa Platz.

It's a cute little shop that really impresses with its food. Usually quite full and you sit very close to other guests, but the food itself is simply great. Have free side dishes 'banchan' and I find the tofu and potatoes particularly delicious. The dishes, such as bulgogi, jja-bbog, yukgaejang, bibimbap, are also convincing. I would also recommend the plum juice (a bit expensive, but really tasty) and the plum wine.

TL;DR Hana's is a very nice restaurant with great serving staff that offer food that exceeds expectations both in quality and what they indicate on their menu. They offer enough diversity for vegetarian, meat and fish dishes, but it still small enough everything can be good. Dessert selection is a bit lacking, so I'd recommend entree+main over main+dessert. Their Kimchi includes seven other vegetables besides the classic and is something that I highly recommend. 5/5 stars. I went to Hana's on a regular Wednesday's night, it is a relatively small eat-in place and rather popular. Most tables were booked and there was a small line when I left, which is always a good sign for a week day. The staff was so kind to find a table for me regardless, despite me being on my own. The menu is nice and varied, but still focused on a good core of dishes. There is a good selection of vegetarian, fish and meat dishes, making Hana a good choice for when you are in company with different dietary restrictions. My waitress was very patient, friendly and willing to help me with any questions I had. She seemed like she had a lot of passion for the food that she served, and so was happy to explain what I didn't understand. My order was the Kimchi-Salat and the Ozinger Bokkeum (roasted squid) with the Korean drink Bong Bong. The drink was sold out, but my waitress volunteered another Korean soft-drink that she recommended instead, that was a honey melon flavoured drink with coconut bits. The dessert selection is very minimal with two Japanese ice creams and moshi, in fact it is the selection also offered by the Asian Restaurant next to my office. Experience has taught me that dessert menu's without specialities are essentially always a sign that those are bought wholesale. But I haven't tried them in this restaurant. I was happily surprised by the Kimchi, rather than the classic bowl of Chinese Cabbage indicated on the menu, a set of seven different pickled vegetables were served in small, cute plates. It looked so good that it took me a couple of minutes to convince myself this was actually my Kimchi and not some much fancier (and more expensive) entrée. Thankfully, this wasn't just my opinion, since the table next to me took a double take when it arrived and immediately ordered it as well. The dish consisted out of: potatoes, Chinese cabbage, tofu, zucchini, tauge, aubergine and aubergine. The cabbage tasted like you'd expect of good Kimchi, but the potatoes jumped out for me as a clear favourite. They weren't sour at all, but rather really soft and sweet. The main course was squid with green bell peppers, served in a red sauce with a bowl of white rice. The waitress warned me that it would be spicy, but to me, it tasted more sweet than spicy. It was really fresh, and you could still hear the sauce cooking on the hot plate. The squid was soft and chewy, without going into the territory of becoming plasticy which is always a risk with squid. The sauce paired perfectly with the rice and gave a nice sweet-spicy taste which I could have easily eaten double of. In general, it was just a really nice and flavour dish that I could see myself ordering again. So in conclusion, Hana's is a great small Korean restaurant in the middle of Koln that I can recommend to anyone. I cannot wait to come back with colleagues to try their specialities, and have already strong-armed some of the other interns to come along. They strike a good balance between being approachable for newcomers to Korean food like me and people more experienced like my Taiwanese desk mate. So a high recommendation from me.

To be honest, I only liked the appetizer with 6 little tapas from vegetables. The main course was totally disappointed. I ordered seafood soup which I expected at least 1 shrimp inside. There were only 2 super tiny dried shrimps and 1 tiny piece of squid (about 4cm). Staffs are friends but yeah i come here to try foods and I totally disappointed for the price!

Quite tasty in itself, but the prices are sometimes too extreme. For a normal vegetable kimbap you have to pay €9.50. In Korea they cost the equivalent of €3 to a maximum of €5 (with other ingredients). Of course in Europe it is exotic and therefore costs more, but then 3x as much? In my opinion, €6-7 for a normal vegetable kimbap would be justified. Nothing justifies this high price...

I enjoyed ordering here very regularly via UberEats and have now noticed that the price of Bulgogi beef has been increased from €16.90 to €18.90, which is an exorbitant price. Unfortunately I won't be ordering here again

Best Korean food in Europe. Reminded me of my fav Korean spots in the US and its about as authentic as you can get. Service was great and the staff made you feel welcomed at home. Highly recommend and would def come back when I'm in the area

The portions for desert were relatively small and not appetizing. Taste was good and service was quick than excepted. The restaurant is small and one must reserve the table in advance. Big groups won't be able to get a seating. Before the meal is served, there were couple of appetizers coming our way and they tasted really good. It comprised of tofu, brinjal, French beans, sprouts, fried potatoes and kimchi. The peach flavoured korean beer was strong and amazing to try.
