I was just about to order sushi here, but during the COVID pandemic, food is being prepared without masks. That's completely unacceptable!

⛔️You're all so clever if you think you can save the taste of a fried roll by putting rotten fish in it. It was awful, I'm going to file a complaint and have this place investigated.

The three of us spontaneously stopped by for dinner one evening. Getting a table outside wasn't a problem (it's a Wednesday). Funnily enough, none of us ordered sushi, as there are other options on the menu. I opted for several tapas. I was particularly pleasantly surprised by the avocado cookies. I've never seen anything like them anywhere else, and they were incredibly delicious. The prices are also perfectly reasonable. Unfortunately, cash only.

The portion was alot, and the staff were welcoming and attentive, making the whole experience even better. Highly recommended if you're looking for a comforting, well-made dish in Moabit.

Disappointing despite a good start I went to Xigon 1987 last week with my girlfriend, and to be honest, it was a mixed bag. We hadn't made a reservation, but a super friendly waitress (No. 1) still gave us a table—so nice! The place is small but cozy, so thumbs up for that. She also took our order in a friendly manner. Then the food arrived—brought by a young waiter (No. 2) with zero energy. No "hello," no "enjoy your meal," just the tray put down and off again...even though I thanked them twice. Sorry, but that's just not how hospitality works. 🙄 The food looked nice and actually tasted good, but my dish was way too salty. The nice waitress (No. 1) took care of it immediately, but unfortunately, the taste remained the same. Then, when it came time to pay, the shock: Another waitress (number 3), who had never served us, automatically added a 10% tip to the card reader – and simply told me I could delete it myself if I wasn't okay with it. Sorry, but that's completely unacceptable. That kind of behavior is disrespectful to guests. Tipping should be voluntary, not psychological pressure. It's unfair to put people in an uncomfortable situation just because they're polite or too proud to say "no." 😤 And the restroom… honestly, it was totally unkempt: water everywhere, no toilet paper, an unpleasant smell – it didn't match the nice impression the front made at all. 😩 As if all that wasn't enough, we both had stomach problems later that evening. What a shame, with such a lovely waitress and a good start, it could have been a wonderful evening.
