Surf & Turf in Lübeck

Die Speisen sind recht einfach, vieles aus der Friteuse. Kartoffeln gibt es nicht, dafür Pommes. Das Personal war unerfahren, aber bemüht. Wegen der relativ hohen Preise werden wir nicht wiederkommen.

Besser geht nicht. Bezahlbare Sterneküche die satt macht, sehr aufmerksame Bedienung, und toller Hafenblick. Wir haben uns lange nicht mehr so wohl beim Essen gefühlt. Vielen dank dafür!

Es war ein wirklich sehr leckeres Essen. Steak Medium wie gewünscht gebraten... Es hat rundum gepasst. Tolles Ambiente und toller Service. Saßen draußen anlässlich des 70. Geburtstag meiner Mutter. Einen halben Stern Abzug würden wir dafür geben, dass das Fleisch z.T. etwas zäh war, wofür aber das Personal nichts kann...

Erster Besuch von uns in dem Laden. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen, an den einzigen Zweiertisch platziert und es war da schon absehbar, dass wirklich alle Tische (innen Platz für ca. 60 Gäste) reserviert waren und auch besetzt werden. Gute Weinauswahl, Empfehlung bezüglich des Essens vom Service. Leckerer Gruß aus der Küche. Wir haben hatten Steak und Duroc, beides lecker, sehr angenehmes Gratin als Beilage. Salat mit Dressing ebenfalls solide. +netter Service von allen MA +gut dosierte Auswahl an Speisen +sehr bequemes Sitzen

Wir haben unsere Weihnachtsfeier im Surf&Turf gefeiert. Der Service war mehr als kompetent und zuvorkommend, das Ambiente war festlich und gemütlich. Highlight war das Essen! Der Vorspeisenteller war sehr reichhaltig und hätte uns fast schon gereicht. Die Hauptgerichte waren alle perfekt. Sehr große Portionen, geschmacklich und qualitativ hochwertig. Ich war schon lange nicht mehr so gut Essen. Danke für den schönen Abend !! Update Juli2026 Wir waren jetzt mehrmals hier und es ist völlig egal was wir bestellen.. ALLES ist ausnahmslos perfekt zubereitet, qualitativ hochwertig und mehr als lecker! Der Service ist immer zuvorkommend und mehr als höflich (auch bei über 32 Grad im Schatten !). Wir haben unseren Hochzeitstag nach dem Standesamt in einem wunderschönen Rahmen ausklingen lassen. Es war ein fantastisches Essen, eine wunderschöne Dekoration und ein super Service der Surf&Turf-Crew. Ein unvergesslicher Tag in einem ganz tollen Restaurant! Wer dieses Restaurant nicht besucht, verpasst ganz viel!

Wir hatten sehr liebevoll zubereitete und sehr schmackhafte Speisen.

Wir durften unsere Hochzeitsessen im Surf and Turf erleben und es war grandios. Angefangen von der liebenswürdigen Kontaktaufnahme, dem Gesalten und den individuellen Essenewünsche bietet das Surf and Turf alles was das Herz begehrt. Die Lokation hat einen Traumhaften Blick auf das Wasser und bietet seinen Gästen ein Essen vom Feinsten. Hier ist jeder Gang sehenswert und geschmacklich eine Gaumen Bombe. Der Koch präsentiert Menüs und Gerichte die mit Liebe, Freude und auf kulinarischem Höhepunkte einen umhauen. Der Service ist TOP geschult und achtet darauf das man sich hier wie ein König bzw Königin fallen lassen kann. Wir sind begeistert und glücklich so ein Lokal gefunden zu haben.

Ein sehr schöner Abend mit extrem leckerem Essen

Das Team gibt sich sehr viel Mühe, das Essen ist sehr gut, der Laden ist schön und hat einen tollen Blick auf die Trave. Es gibt extrem Respekt den Laden voll zu bekommen trotz der ungünstigen Lage auf dem Prowall.

Das Essen hier ist wirklich empfehlenswert. Leider gibt es auch hier Personalmangel, so dasan längere Wartezeiten hat. Das macht das Essen und der Service aber wieder gut. Das Lokal ist schön eingerichtet aber sehr kahl an den Wänden und dadurch wird es lauter wenn mehrere Personen da sind. Aber Danke für den schönen Abend

Moin, wir waren das erste mal da, und werden bei jeden Besuch wieder kommen. Sehr schön gelegendes Restaurant an der Fähre mit super Blick auf der Trave und den großen Schiffe. Das Essen ist super Lecker sogar mit kleinen Gruß aus der Küche. Das Personal super nett und immer zum Spaß bereit. Bis bald 👍

Mehr als nur ein Restaurant - hier ist der Gast noch König! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Ich muss heute einfach mal eine Lanze für das Surf ’n’ Turf und seinen großartigen Restaurantleiter Jimmy brechen! Schon am Telefon merkt man, hier herrscht eine ganz besondere, herzliche Atmosphäre. Ich musste meine Reservierung leider kurzfristig stornieren, aber das Gespräch mit Jimmy war so unglaublich nett und menschlich, dass ich mich sofort wie ein Stammgast gefühlt habe. Man spürt diesen liebevollen, familiären Service in jedem Satz. Was ich besonders toll finde ist , man muss nicht zwingend für ein großes Steak-Dinner kommen (auch wenn die Karte fantastisch aussieht!).🤤 Jimmy hat mir erzählt, dass man sich auch einfach anmelden kann, um nur auf einen Drink vorbeizukommen. Es gibt regelmäßig Live-Musik, was den Laden zur perfekten Adresse für einen entspannten Abend macht. 🥂 Hier ist jeder willkommen und man wird mit einer Offenheit empfangen, die man heute nur noch selten findet. Wer Wert auf Qualität gepaart mit echter Gastfreundschaft legt, sollte hier unbedingt vorbeischauen. Ich werde meinen Besuch definitiv ganz bald nachholen, allein schon wegen der tollen Stimmung! Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Abend dort im Mai. Der Service ist sehr zuvorkommend und gut ausgebildet. Die Gerichte sind mit hoher Qualität und Liebe zum Detail zubereitet. Es gibt viele vegetarische oder vegane Vorspeisen und auch eine leckere veggi Hauptspeise. Man hat einen tollen Blick über das Wasser und kann den Sonnenuntergang während dem Abendessen betrachten. Preislich ist es etwas gehobener, darauf sollte man sich einstellen.

Das Essen ist wirklich sehr gut. Besonders die Soßen und das Fleisch kann ich sehr loben. Das Ambiente ist ruhig, gemütlich und entspannt. Die Bedienung ist wirklich aufmerksam und sehr freundlich. Alle Vorraussetzungen für einen Tollen Abend sind erfüllt, auch für größere Gruppen.

Mein Mann und ich waren während unseres Urlaubs mehrfach dort essen. Hier spürt man echt gelebte Gastlichkeit. Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit mit sehr gutem Essen. Klasse Service in einem netten Ambiente. Preis und Leistung stimmen. Zuvor ein Gruß aus der Küche und nach dem sehr leckeren Essen noch ein liebevoll servierter, selbstgemachter Likör als Absacker . Sehr empfehlenswert!!! Reservierung ist allerdings angebracht.

Das Entrecôte war wirklich interessant – sehr weich und zart, aber geschmacklich auch etwas anders als gewohnt, was es besonders gemacht hat. Insgesamt aber sehr lecker und auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert. Als Vorspeise hatten wir die Baby-Calamari zum Teilen bestellt. Die Portion war vollkommen ausreichend für zwei Personen und geschmacklich ebenfalls sehr gut. Insgesamt eine schöne Erfahrung – gerne wieder!

Haben dort ein sehr leckeres Abendessen gegessen, mit schönen Ausblick auf Travemünde.

Super Essen und super Service. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder

Erst mal, die rothaarige Dame im Service hat den Abend gerettet!! Top!! Ansonsten Atmosphäre ok, der Blick aufs Wasser macht schon einiges weg. Aber dann fing es an: Steak nicht mehr da, Tomahawk nicht mehr da, Gratin aus. Wir mussten also beide eine Notlösung bestellen, die auch beide nur ok waren. Daher in Summe leider kein Highlight gewesen.

First off, the redhead waitress saved the evening!! Amazing!! Otherwise, the atmosphere was okay; the view of the water made up for a lot. But then things started to go downhill: the steak was out, the tomahawk steak was out, and the gratin was sold out. So we both had to order a last-minute alternative, which was just okay. Therefore, all in all, it wasn't a highlight.

Superb view, good food including a complimentary amuse-bouche. Prices are a bit high but reasonable. You can hardly find a quieter or more scenic spot.

We were there early this afternoon. We sat outside on the terrace. We were served very quickly – the service was amazing. Everything was so fast and efficient. We had the tzatziki and feta cream with crusty bread as a starter – it was divine. Everything went together perfectly. For our main courses, we had the beef liver and the steak. Both were incredibly delicious. The side salad was also fantastic. For dessert, we had cheesecake and tiramisu – it was beautifully presented and also very tasty. We'll definitely be back. A fantastic place, lovely and competent staff, and a great view and setting! 😊

My husband and I celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary there last August. Two tables were reserved, one inside and one outside, which we were very happy about. We chose to sit outside, and the table was beautifully decorated. The staff was very friendly, and the set menu was wonderful. Unfortunately, we didn't have time for dessert. Thank you so much for the wonderful evening. We will definitely come back again.

We were there as a couple with our dog. The service was very attentive and they took care of our dog first. Overall, the staff was very attentive and the food was really delicious. We had no complaints and will definitely come back.

On December 13, 2025, I went to a restaurant with friends for Christmas dinner. The food was delicious and highly recommended. Jenny, who served us, deserves special mention; she's a young woman who impressed us with her friendly, warm, and competent manner. She's the kind of employee you can be proud of.

It was simply wonderful. Very cozy, beautifully decorated but not overdone. The service was very attentive and the food was absolutely fantastic – delicious and presented in a modern style ☺️ We'd love to come back again! Great praise to the kitchen staff, keep up the good work 👏🏻

Excellent service, incredibly delicious food, there was even a small soup as a gift from the kitchen and a house schnapps to finish.

The ambiance was lovely! Attentive service! The amuse-bouche was delicious, and so was the rest of the meal. I had the prawns. My husband had the hamburger steak, which he found a bit too dry. The appetizers were otherwise good and the portions were generous. The appetizers were very good, but the main courses were definitely on the pricier side. We were also offered a complimentary liqueur at the end. All in all, a lovely evening!

Here you can truly experience genuine hospitality. We had a wonderful evening with excellent food. Attentive but unobtrusive service in a lovingly decorated and tranquil setting. Good value for money. We were treated to a complimentary amuse-bouche and a charming liqueur after the meal. Everything was perfect.

A truly heartfelt recommendation. I visited the restaurant for the first time this evening. The service was excellent, very attentive, very friendly, and accommodating! The ambiance was also very beautiful with a view of the water. The quality of the food was absolutely outstanding. If I could, I would give it 10 stars! Please keep it up!

I was there today with my son: Excellent surf & turf with perfect, very tasty, large prawns; steaks cooked to perfection; absolutely delicious rattatouille vegetables, wonderfully garnished with salad, top-notch... and the sweet potatoes with chili mayonnaise were incredibly delicious: all of this together was a truly delightful experience! Rounded off with a delicious lava chocolate cake and vanilla ice cream, or rather, an incredibly delicious, not overpowering tiramisu, plus double espressos! Plus, very attentive, unobtrusive service with a fantastic view of Old Travemünde... it couldn't be better! Many thanks to the kitchen and staff!

We went there for dinner today, really great location, great service and really delicious food, freshly prepared and very good quality and our dogs got, as a matter of course, a bowl of fresh water, that's service!

We celebrated our wedding here at the end of August. The day was beautiful, made even more so by the restaurant. The owners are such incredibly wonderful and warm people, and they have such wonderful staff (a huge thank you goes to Timon and his colleague, who looked after us that day). My husband and I look back fondly on our celebration.

Everything is just right here! Great view from the terrace! The staff is humorous, fast, and very friendly! The appetizers, grilled bread and tzatziki, and the dessert, lava cake, were absolutely delicious! The main courses, zander fillet with potato gratin and ratatouille, and sirloin steak with sweet potato fries, were a dream. The price is completely reasonable for this fantastic meal. If we ever vacation in Travemünde again, we'll definitely head back to this restaurant.

An all-around successful evening. Great ambiance, superbly attentive service, and truly delicious food! A great aperitif, excellent main courses (Duroc Tomahawk steak and surf and turf). The steak was perfectly rare, the prawns were enormous, and the gratin was delicious. We'd love to come back next year.

We stumbled upon the restaurant by chance and spontaneously reserved a table. We received a very friendly welcome and immediately felt at home. We were very impressed with both the food and the service. Our meals were perfect and delicious. The service deserves an extra star. They always made sure that we had everything we needed and that our every wish was fulfilled. They did this with such friendliness and ease that we never felt inconvenienced. Unfortunately, we were turned away at 7 p.m. without a reservation, despite plenty of free tables. We probably won't go there again. We didn't remember the food being that great, but we would have tried it again. Bad luck.

A wonderful place with a direct view of the Trave River and Travemünde across the street. Top-notch food, good selection, great service, kid-friendly, thanks to Buddy Marco :) We went there twice during our vacation and enjoyed the evenings. Although the food at Surf & Turf was truly delicious, we were very disappointed with our visit on July 27, 2025. We had made a special reservation for our 30th wedding anniversary, but there was no decoration, nor was there the advertised welcome from the kitchen, or anything else. Even the expensive spritzer, so highly advertised here, arrived without any love and without any fruit decorations. We didn't even get a congratulations – we could hardly believe it and found it almost outrageous...

I arrived there alone and asked for a table, but everything was fully booked. I was able to sit a little to the side in a kind of beach chair with a small side table. The service was friendly; I ordered a glass of wine but didn't ask the price, and was amazed at the total of €10.50. I also ordered a small snack: giant beans in a slightly spicy tomato sauce. The sauce wasn't spicy, but the beans were only lukewarm. I complained; it took a while, but they were warm but not hot. I felt like I was being noticed, even though I wasn't spending a lot of money on my own. The location of the restaurant is great, sitting on the terrace with a view of Travemünde.

We spontaneously reserved a table for the evening in the morning. We had no idea that a French evening with live music would be waiting for us. It was very nice and entertaining. The view of the harbor is unique and the food was perfect. 5 stars!!! We'll be back!!!

Today is 7:20 p.m.! Do you have a reservation? Our kitchen is closed. We were recommended the restaurant on the golf course :( They offered us the opportunity to have a drink. It's mid-June :( We won't try it again. By the way, the Moin'sen around the corner is really great!
