A truly heartfelt recommendation. I visited the restaurant for the first time this evening. The service was excellent, very attentive, very friendly, and accommodating! The ambiance was also very beautiful with a view of the water. The quality of the food was absolutely outstanding. If I could, I would give it 10 stars! Please keep it up!

I was there today with my son: Excellent surf & turf with perfect, very tasty, large prawns; steaks cooked to perfection; absolutely delicious rattatouille vegetables, wonderfully garnished with salad, top-notch... and the sweet potatoes with chili mayonnaise were incredibly delicious: all of this together was a truly delightful experience! Rounded off with a delicious lava chocolate cake and vanilla ice cream, or rather, an incredibly delicious, not overpowering tiramisu, plus double espressos! Plus, very attentive, unobtrusive service with a fantastic view of Old Travemünde... it couldn't be better! Many thanks to the kitchen and staff!

We went there for dinner today, really great location, great service and really delicious food, freshly prepared and very good quality and our dogs got, as a matter of course, a bowl of fresh water, that's service!

We celebrated our wedding here at the end of August. The day was beautiful, made even more so by the restaurant. The owners are such incredibly wonderful and warm people, and they have such wonderful staff (a huge thank you goes to Timon and his colleague, who looked after us that day). My husband and I look back fondly on our celebration.

Everything is just right here! Great view from the terrace! The staff is humorous, fast, and very friendly! The appetizers, grilled bread and tzatziki, and the dessert, lava cake, were absolutely delicious! The main courses, zander fillet with potato gratin and ratatouille, and sirloin steak with sweet potato fries, were a dream. The price is completely reasonable for this fantastic meal. If we ever vacation in Travemünde again, we'll definitely head back to this restaurant.

An all-around successful evening. Great ambiance, superbly attentive service, and truly delicious food! A great aperitif, excellent main courses (Duroc Tomahawk steak and surf and turf). The steak was perfectly rare, the prawns were enormous, and the gratin was delicious. We'd love to come back next year.

We stumbled upon the restaurant by chance and spontaneously reserved a table. We received a very friendly welcome and immediately felt at home. We were very impressed with both the food and the service. Our meals were perfect and delicious. The service deserves an extra star. They always made sure that we had everything we needed and that our every wish was fulfilled. They did this with such friendliness and ease that we never felt inconvenienced. Unfortunately, we were turned away at 7 p.m. without a reservation, despite plenty of free tables. We probably won't go there again. We didn't remember the food being that great, but we would have tried it again. Bad luck.

A wonderful place with a direct view of the Trave River and Travemünde across the street. Although the food at Surf & Turf was truly delicious, we were very disappointed with our visit on July 27, 2025. We had made a special reservation for our 30th wedding anniversary, but there was no decoration, nor was there the advertised welcome from the kitchen, or anything else. Even the expensive spritzer, so highly advertised here, arrived without any love and without any fruit decorations. We didn't even get a congratulations – we could hardly believe it and found it almost outrageous...

I arrived there alone and asked for a table, but everything was fully booked. I was able to sit a little to the side in a kind of beach chair with a small side table. The service was friendly; I ordered a glass of wine but didn't ask the price, and was amazed at the total of €10.50. I also ordered a small snack: giant beans in a slightly spicy tomato sauce. The sauce wasn't spicy, but the beans were only lukewarm. I complained; it took a while, but they were warm but not hot. I felt like I was being noticed, even though I wasn't spending a lot of money on my own. The location of the restaurant is great, sitting on the terrace with a view of Travemünde.

Everything was just right; except for my umbrella, which I unfortunately left behind in the restaurant!

We spontaneously reserved a table for the evening in the morning. We had no idea that a French evening with live music would be waiting for us. It was very nice and entertaining. The view of the harbor is unique and the food was perfect. 5 stars!!! We'll be back!!!

Today is 7:20 p.m.! Do you have a reservation? Our kitchen is closed. We were recommended the restaurant on the golf course :( They offered us the opportunity to have a drink. It's mid-June :( We won't try it again. By the way, the Moin'sen around the corner is really great!

We went to Surf and Turf for the first time yesterday and were absolutely thrilled. The service was super nice and Jimmy has such a calm manner about him that immediately makes you relax and forget the stress of everyday life. The atmosphere is very cozy and we had a great view of the Trave and the ships that had arrived. The food was the best we've eaten in a really long time. Each component on the plate was simply perfect individually and in combination. All the oils, pesto and jus felt like a flavor explosion in our mouths. At first we didn't want dessert so that we could enjoy the taste of the main course for longer, but then we decided on the parfait and it was also really tasty. The grilled bread and the tzatziki as a starter gave us hope for an incredibly delicious meal and we were not disappointed. We reserved a table again for Saturday and are now looking forward to the really delicious food.

We were there again today and had the Easter special, lamb fillet and sea bass. It was so delicious.🤩 Great service and very attentive, we felt completely comfortable again. We would love to come back.🙂👍

Unfortunately we only went there to eat on our last day of vacation. The restaurant was on my favorites list from the start, and rightly so. The food was absolutely amazing. The best pikeperch ever and I often order pikeperch but this one was absolutely jammi. A modern contemporary interpretation of quality food. In Travemünde the same stuff is often offered in a greasy, unhealthy breading. But not in this restaurant. This is a high level, the chef understands how to implement fine cuisine in such a way that even allergy sufferers get their culinary money's worth. Great greetings from the kitchen (super delicious tomato soup) and at the end a delicious liqueur. This is how you get regular guests. Unfortunately we come from Bochum, otherwise we would be there more often. Great outdoor terrace with phenomenal views of the water and Travemünde. Top service. 13 points out of 12 ;) many greetings from the Ruhr area.

There is always someone who sees it differently... The dishes are okay individually, but thrown together in a completely inappropriate way: steak with prawns, with a Greek salad, Italian pesto and balsamic on top of everything (why?????), an American BBQ sauce and French rattatouille. With the sea bream, again completely covered with pesto and balsamic vinegar, there were fries or potato gratin. I've never seen it anywhere and it doesn't fit at all. Overall, the name of the restaurant is completely misleading as it is predominantly Mediterranean cube cuisine and has nothing to do with surf and turf in the classic sense. The condition, on the other hand, was really very committed. The ambience - I found it tasteless (look closely at the pictures).

We went to Surf & Turf for dinner last Friday. The staff were courteous and very friendly. We were able to enjoy the sundowner and the starter on the terrace and went to the restaurant for the main course. Everything is uncomplicated. The food is an absolute highlight! The prices are absolutely okay. The sundowner and dessert were tips from the waiter - and both were worth it!

We were there for the first time last Sunday and were so excited. When the food came, the entire visit became one of our best restaurant visits. Wow, it was so incredibly prepared and the taste was an absolute highlight, it couldn't be better. We live nearby and were glad we finally went and it's been our favorite ever since. We can easily imagine this restaurant even for an evening at the bar because there is a great selection and even what we like and don't often find elsewhere. Cakes and vegan/vegetarian dishes are also offered. Price-performance ratio is absolutely good and appropriate. We really don't have a criticism to make and are looking forward to next time!

The service is also very attentive. The drinks are perfectly chilled and served decoratively. We can highly recommend the restaurant and will of course come back.

We came to “Suf & Turf” by chance on the first evening of our 4-day short vacation in Travemünde. From the very beginning we were impressed by the head waiter Marco, who took our 5-person drinks and food orders including all the special requests, remembered everything without taking notes and then served everything exactly on time. Since his entire service was consistently unobtrusive, attentive and perfect, the food was also a pleasure and the ambience of the restaurant was very pleasant, it unplanned became our regular restaurant for this holiday. We can therefore only recommend the “Surf & Turf”.

We've been coming to Priwall regularly for short vacations for three years and today we ate here for the first time. By far the best restaurant in the area - I haven't had such a great overall package of great food, excellent service and a nice atmosphere for a long time. We'll definitely be back next year!

Modern and comfortably furnished restaurant. Very friendly and fast service. Food well prepared, good portion size and very, very tasty. The greetings from the kitchen (small soup) and the elaborately prepared blackcurrant spritzer were my highlights. Definitely coming back!

The restaurant has a very nice atmosphere, with a view of Travemünde. First we were recommended a mango-passion fruit spritz as an aperitif, which was really delicious. The starter was a salmon and halibut carpaccio and the main course was the recommendation of the day, a dry-aged T-bone steak of veal on ratatouille. There was nothing wrong with either, it was delicious. The service was excellent. We can recommend the Surf & Turf with a clear conscience and would be happy to come back.

Although we have been regularly on the Priwall or in Travemünde for years, we only "discovered" the Surf & Turf today. We were greeted very friendly with our dog and were able to enjoy the view of the Trave from our seats in a pleasant atmosphere. A slightly different, varied menu - although nothing with currywurst, schnitzel and matjes - promised interesting dishes. We weren't disappointed, the chop and large prawns with salad, ratatouille and truffle sauce were great. The cold winter aperitif and then a glass of Primitivo went well with it. The liqueur on the house rounded it all off. A place to feel good with a great view and very good service. Probably the best restaurant on the Priwall.

We had a lovely meal here. The service was extremely good. First there was a fantastically delicious greeting from the kitchen. A very tasty tomato basil soup. The starter of olives, pepperoni and tzatziki with toasted bread was very tasty. The main course surf & turf plate: the meat was fried to perfection. The Mediterranean vegetables consisted mainly of peppers. I would have liked more variety of vegetables and seasoning here. The shrimp were a bit firm. But overall very tasty. The second main course, zander fillet: unfortunately the zander fillet tasted very, very neutral. The rooms are nicely designed. We'll definitely come back.

Very good high quality food. Unfortunately the hall atmosphere was uncomfortable and very noisy. Despite the beautiful wooden floorboards and tasteful, straightforward furnishings. In summer, the terrace is certainly great to enjoy with its location right on the water. Still an enrichment for us on the Priwall in winter and we would be happy to come back.

We celebrated our Christmas party at Surf&Turf. The service was more than competent and courteous, the atmosphere was festive and cozy. The highlight was the food! The starter plate was very rich and was almost enough for us. The main courses were all perfect. Very large portions, tasteful and high quality. I haven't had such good food in a long time. Really just great!!! After we had "slight difficulties getting to the *Surf&Turf* by car, (😉) "we were warmly welcomed and seated. The service employee “guided” us through the menu and we decided on the starter of beef carpaccio with surf (€24.50, GULP) + beetroot carpaccio (his daily recommendation which was not on the menu). When serving:*Wow!!!* It was fantastic, lavishly garnished, and 6 fluffy, thick slices of fresh, grilled bread were served with the carpaccio, and there was also a delicious bruschetta mixture with creamy feta - all the best quality and fresh ingredients!!! - For the main course we chose the rump steak and the Iberico pork. Both were grilled to perfection and prepared and served with a lot of heart, love, skill and effort... The whole time we were optimally looked after by the service, i.e. demand for it Serving starters as well as main courses or drinks service in between... Overall I can say: Really great location, very comfortable, modern, clean (toilets👌🏻) and furnished with a lot of love... The price is a bit more expensive, but the quality and especially the quantity and size of the portions absolutely justify the higher price!!! The Surf&Turf is really an absolute recommendation for every Priwall visitor. Thank you for the great evening!!!!
