Surf & Turf in Lübeck

Although we have been regularly on the Priwall or in Travemünde for years, we only "discovered" the Surf & Turf today. We were greeted very friendly with our dog and were able to enjoy the view of the Trave from our seats in a pleasant atmosphere. A slightly different, varied menu - although nothing with currywurst, schnitzel and matjes - promised interesting dishes. We weren't disappointed, the chop and large prawns with salad, ratatouille and truffle sauce were great. The cold winter aperitif and then a glass of Primitivo went well with it. The liqueur on the house rounded it all off. A place to feel good with a great view and very good service. Probably the best restaurant on the Priwall.

We had a lovely meal here. The service was extremely good. First there was a fantastically delicious greeting from the kitchen. A very tasty tomato basil soup. The starter of olives, pepperoni and tzatziki with toasted bread was very tasty. The main course surf & turf plate: the meat was fried to perfection. The Mediterranean vegetables consisted mainly of peppers. I would have liked more variety of vegetables and seasoning here. The shrimp were a bit firm. But overall very tasty. The second main course, zander fillet: unfortunately the zander fillet tasted very, very neutral. The rooms are nicely designed. We'll definitely come back.

We enjoyed super delicious surf & turf here. The service was very friendly and special requests (due to allergies) were also fulfilled. The aperitif and the liqueur were also really good! We would love to come back and can only recommend this restaurant.

Very good high quality food. Unfortunately the hall atmosphere was uncomfortable and very noisy. Despite the beautiful wooden floorboards and tasteful, straightforward furnishings. In summer, the terrace is certainly great to enjoy with its location right on the water. Still an enrichment for us on the Priwall in winter and we would be happy to come back.

We celebrated our Christmas party at Surf&Turf. The service was more than competent and courteous, the atmosphere was festive and cozy. The highlight was the food! The starter plate was very rich and was almost enough for us. The main courses were all perfect. Very large portions, tasteful and high quality. I haven't had such good food in a long time. Thanks for the lovely evening!!

Really just great!!! After we had "slight difficulties getting to the *Surf&Turf* by car, (😉) "we were warmly welcomed and seated. The service employee “guided” us through the menu and we decided on the starter of beef carpaccio with surf (€24.50, GULP) + beetroot carpaccio (his daily recommendation which was not on the menu). When serving:*Wow!!!* It was fantastic, lavishly garnished, and 6 fluffy, thick slices of fresh, grilled bread were served with the carpaccio, and there was also a delicious bruschetta mixture with creamy feta - all the best quality and fresh ingredients!!! - For the main course we chose the rump steak and the Iberico pork. Both were grilled to perfection and prepared and served with a lot of heart, love, skill and effort... The whole time we were optimally looked after by the service, i.e. demand for it Serving starters as well as main courses or drinks service in between... Overall I can say: Really great location, very comfortable, modern, clean (toilets👌🏻) and furnished with a lot of love... The price is a bit more expensive, but the quality and especially the quantity and size of the portions absolutely justify the higher price!!! The Surf&Turf is really an absolute recommendation for every Priwall visitor. Thank you for the great evening!!!!

The Greek restaurant in Travemünde impressed me with its warm atmosphere and delicious cuisine. The food was freshly prepared, authentic and served with great attention to detail. The homemade mezze and grilled fish were particularly highlights. The service was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. The location is also ideal - you can take a nice walk along the coast after your meal. A perfect place for a cozy evening with Greek flair. Absolutely recommended!

Today we were in the restaurant with two adults and two children at coffee time and had a wonderful meal. There was a lava cake for everyone with vanilla ice cream and a hot chocolate, sometimes dark chocolate, sometimes white and once Dubai style with pistachios. Even our dog was given a bowl of water. Thanks for the great service! We really liked the Christmas atmosphere and both the lava cake and the various chocolates were really tasty! We'd love to come back!

A wonderful place with a direct view of the Trave and Travemünde opposite. Top gastronomy, good selection, great service, child-friendly, many thanks to Buddy Marco :) We went there twice during our vacation and enjoyed the evenings. The “Surf & Turf” in Travemünde picked up the entire family across the board 👍

Very nice facility, excellent staff, excellent food. I had pike perch fillet with ratatouile, a dream. It costs a little more, but you get a lot in return. Only recommended.

Five of us were guests here this evening. Unfortunately our last evening on Priwall, otherwise we would definitely have come here again. I hope that we will be guests on Priwall again. Food is highly recommended, which we unfortunately experienced differently on Priwall last week.

Excellent restaurant with a unique location. The food is top notch, both the presentation and the quality and degree of doneness. There is definitely an experienced chef at work here. Even the drinks (for example a simple iced tea) are brought to the place in an attractive manner. The service is more than courteous and at a high level; time is taken for the guest and a suitable alternative is offered if a product is defective. Located somewhat hidden opposite the Rosenhof, you have a beautiful view of the Trave and the regular boat traffic. Simply wonderful, especially at sunset. Since we discovered the restaurant, we have been coming back regularly and can only recommend a visit!

Mediterranean cuisine on the banks of the Trave. Sitting nicely, eating very well at reasonable prices. Freshly prepared dishes from the Mediterranean region. Plus a selection of good wines. Carlsberg beer on tap. Friendly welcome and attentive service from the only service person. A visit to the beautiful restaurant at the marina, just a few steps from the ferry pier, is highly recommended.

We were really surprised. The food is great, as is the ambience. We enjoyed the sunset, but of course also the food and the service. Despite the lack of staff, everything went well and tasted very good. ... and of course we can pour the wine ourselves if only one waitress rocks the place! 👍

We recently celebrated our wedding at Surf & Turf and are still thrilled. Starting with the beautifully set table and the reception after our wedding ceremony. In the evening we had a fantastic antipasti buffet and warm dishes. All guests were enthusiastic and there was something for everyone. From fish to meat to vegetarian dishes - everyone got their money's worth here. The wine served with the meal was also delicious. The aperitifs and cocktails were also incredibly delicious. The service is particularly noteworthy here. The entire team is very accommodating and made our day perfect. The atmosphere is really unique and has a lot of charm. There are even beach chairs on the terrace that invite you to relax :) We can only recommend that everyone stop by here for a meal or a drink and end the evening on the beautiful terrace with a view of the ships passing by. Today we decided to dine at Surf & Turf on a sunny holiday day. We "were" full of euphoria when we decided on this location based on the reviews and pictures on the internet... Apart from the beautiful location, the friendly service, the view and the great furnishings, all the positive aspects have now been listed here! -The food is absolutely overpriced, the price/performance ratio doesn't fit -Steak lukewarm -A side salad with the steak became a tomato salad with some greens Ratio 70/30 (You could add it to the map in advance) Overall, we just missed the wow effect for the price P.s.: There was still a tip

A very good restaurant in the yacht harbour of Travemunde. The food was delicious and wel made.They offer special ‘cocktails’ for kids which are delicious. And they offer smaller half meals. Sauces were served separately, a definitive plus as I don’t like my food drowned in sauce, especially if it’s supposed to be crispy. And the service was good and fast and they spoke English quite well. All in all we enjoyed our meal and recommend Surf and Turf Wholeheartedly.

An absolute insider tip. It's actually too bad to make it so well known here. The view is spectacular, the ambience from the dishes to the culinary delights is exceptional, the toilets are clean, everything is arranged with love. If you're looking for a place on the coast where you can sit quietly and eat well - then there!

I've been in Travemünde at least twice a year for several years, but my last vacation was the first time I went to Surf & Turf, and I'm sure more visits will follow. When I went for a walk with my dog, I sat down on the terrace and a water bowl was brought straight to my dog. At first I just wanted to drink something but then luckily I decided to eat a little something. The very friendly service recommended beef liver to me, I was happy to accept the offer, as I only wanted a salad with it, and I only wanted a small portion in total. After a very short waiting time, it far exceeded my expectations. The liver was superbly prepared. The salad was very tasty. The view from the terrace is great. I'll definitely be back at Surf & Turf next time I'm in Travemünde.

During our short vacation in Travemünde (5 days) we went to the various restaurants every day and were unfortunately mostly disappointed. At Surf & Turf everything was perfect from A - Z! Solid ambience in a great location. The service employee was friendly, attentive and competent. Very good advice, my request for changes was also fulfilled. All dishes were fresh, fried to perfection and tasted exceptionally well. Thank you for this lovely evening, which we will still look back on fondly :)

We were on the terrace for a cozy little birthday party and would recommend the same to everyone. Very good selection of cakes, excellent Prosecco, balanced dinner and many small wishes fulfilled. Restaurant with an outdoor terrace, away from the tourist mile, great location on the edge of the marina, service super friendly, food across the board and delicious.

Very friendly welcome and friendly staff. The cast-on steak was a delight, very tender and cooked to perfection: the chef knows his business. We will definitely eat there again on our next stay in Travemünde.

During our visit the food was all of excellent quality. The Duroc tomahawk steak with potato gratin is highly recommended. But all the other dishes were also attractively prepared and of very good product quality. The price-performance ratio can therefore be described as reasonable to good. In contrast to another TV-famous restaurant on the Priwall, there are no hidden price surcharges (e.g. due to missing side dishes for some dishes). Therefore the Surf&Turf is really recommended.

Delicious food, great service and a great location

Quality across the board: From the telephone call for the reservation to the reception to the last bite and the last sip, we have absolutely nothing to complain about. Such attentive, warm professionals right into the kitchen. The meat was on point, the salad bouquet and the gratin served with it were incredibly tasty. The children's portion tasted really great! The lava cake at the end is an absolute must. People even asked about fruit allergies and explained one of the two largest container ships that was passing through the port. Absolute recommendation!

We passed the Surf and Turf on our afternoon walk and had a drink on the beautiful terrace with a water view and sunset. Unfortunately we had already eaten, but we will definitely come back to eat next time. The staff was super friendly and accommodating and the restaurant and terrace were very well maintained.

You should definitely visit. Food and service is great. The location of the restaurant at the Rosenhof marina is fantastic.

Nice place to eat with a view of the Baltic Sea ferries arriving and departing as well as the Priwall ferries. So located right on the water. Very friendly and attentive service. The food is delicious, quite filling and overall of a high standard. The price-performance ratio is appropriate. Dogs are allowed and receive a water bowl. We recommend the zander fillet and the grilled bread as a starter. Update (6 days later): We were there again. Delicious again. For some reason the venison steak wasn't the same as last time. Although tender, it is more well done than medium. May occur. When asked if it tasted good, we commented on this. A new piece was immediately offered. Because it would have taken time, we left it alone. It still tasted good though. When we wanted to pay, we were greeted with a tiramisu dessert from the kitchen. A very nice gesture with which the restaurant scored again. Simply great service!

The best restaurant on the Priewall, I ate there today. Price performance, wonderful, maybe a little too cheap for what you offer there. Service 1A Kitchen 1A with stars. I'm totally thrilled. Gladly again tomorrow. A very satisfied guest Dogs are also very welcome. All in all, I had a wonderful stay at this location. Always my pleasure . Was there the last two days. The first impression has been more than confirmed. Yesterday I ate the venison steak, recommendation of the day. Butter tender the steak accompaniments were also wonderful. A fantastic dish in itself. Today on my unfortunately last day. I couldn't resist the dish from day one. That's really my dish there. Thank you for the hospitality. Gladly again next vacation.
