Great food and great service. We'll definitely be back.

First off, the redhead waitress saved the evening!! Amazing!! Otherwise, the atmosphere was okay; the view of the water made up for a lot. But then things started to go downhill: the steak was out, the tomahawk steak was out, and the gratin was sold out. So we both had to order a last-minute alternative, which was just okay. Therefore, all in all, it wasn't a highlight.

Superb view, good food including a complimentary amuse-bouche. Prices are a bit high but reasonable. You can hardly find a quieter or more scenic spot.

We were there early this afternoon. We sat outside on the terrace. We were served very quickly – the service was amazing. Everything was so fast and efficient. We had the tzatziki and feta cream with crusty bread as a starter – it was divine. Everything went together perfectly. For our main courses, we had the beef liver and the steak. Both were incredibly delicious. The side salad was also fantastic. For dessert, we had cheesecake and tiramisu – it was beautifully presented and also very tasty. We'll definitely be back. A fantastic place, lovely and competent staff, and a great view and setting! 😊

My husband and I celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary there last August. Two tables were reserved, one inside and one outside, which we were very happy about. We chose to sit outside, and the table was beautifully decorated. The staff was very friendly, and the set menu was wonderful. Unfortunately, we didn't have time for dessert. Thank you so much for the wonderful evening. We will definitely come back again.

We were there as a couple with our dog. The service was very attentive and they took care of our dog first. Overall, the staff was very attentive and the food was really delicious. We had no complaints and will definitely come back.

We had a wonderful and delicious dinner at Surf & Turf. The service was very friendly, and in addition to a tasty steak, we were served a complimentary soup to start and a small drink afterward. We will definitely return on our next visit to Travemünde.

On December 13, 2025, I went to a restaurant with friends for Christmas dinner. The food was delicious and highly recommended. Jenny, who served us, deserves special mention; she's a young woman who impressed us with her friendly, warm, and competent manner. She's the kind of employee you can be proud of.

Excellent service, incredibly delicious food, there was even a small soup as a gift from the kitchen and a house schnapps to finish.

The ambiance was lovely! Attentive service! The amuse-bouche was delicious, and so was the rest of the meal. I had the prawns. My husband had the hamburger steak, which he found a bit too dry. The appetizers were otherwise good and the portions were generous. The appetizers were very good, but the main courses were definitely on the pricier side. We were also offered a complimentary liqueur at the end. All in all, a lovely evening!

Here you can truly experience genuine hospitality. We had a wonderful evening with excellent food. Attentive but unobtrusive service in a lovingly decorated and tranquil setting. Good value for money. We were treated to a complimentary amuse-bouche and a charming liqueur after the meal. Everything was perfect.

I was there today with my son: Excellent surf & turf with perfect, very tasty, large prawns; steaks cooked to perfection; absolutely delicious rattatouille vegetables, wonderfully garnished with salad, top-notch... and the sweet potatoes with chili mayonnaise were incredibly delicious: all of this together was a truly delightful experience! Rounded off with a delicious lava chocolate cake and vanilla ice cream, or rather, an incredibly delicious, not overpowering tiramisu, plus double espressos! Plus, very attentive, unobtrusive service with a fantastic view of Old Travemünde... it couldn't be better! Many thanks to the kitchen and staff!

We went there for dinner today, really great location, great service and really delicious food, freshly prepared and very good quality and our dogs got, as a matter of course, a bowl of fresh water, that's service!

We celebrated our wedding here at the end of August. The day was beautiful, made even more so by the restaurant. The owners are such incredibly wonderful and warm people, and they have such wonderful staff (a huge thank you goes to Timon and his colleague, who looked after us that day). My husband and I look back fondly on our celebration.

We thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of the experience: the food, service, atmosphere, ambiance, view, and value for money were all top-notch. We'd be happy to come back and recommend you to others.

Everything is just right here! Great view from the terrace! The staff is humorous, fast, and very friendly! The appetizers, grilled bread and tzatziki, and the dessert, lava cake, were absolutely delicious! The main courses, zander fillet with potato gratin and ratatouille, and sirloin steak with sweet potato fries, were a dream. The price is completely reasonable for this fantastic meal. If we ever vacation in Travemünde again, we'll definitely head back to this restaurant.

An all-around successful evening. Great ambiance, superbly attentive service, and truly delicious food! A great aperitif, excellent main courses (Duroc Tomahawk steak and surf and turf). The steak was perfectly rare, the prawns were enormous, and the gratin was delicious. We'd love to come back next year.

We stumbled upon the restaurant by chance and spontaneously reserved a table. We received a very friendly welcome and immediately felt at home. We were very impressed with both the food and the service. Our meals were perfect and delicious. The service deserves an extra star. They always made sure that we had everything we needed and that our every wish was fulfilled. They did this with such friendliness and ease that we never felt inconvenienced. Unfortunately, we were turned away at 7 p.m. without a reservation, despite plenty of free tables. We probably won't go there again. We didn't remember the food being that great, but we would have tried it again. Bad luck.

A wonderful place with a direct view of the Trave River and Travemünde across the street. The food is good, and I can recommend it. But are the prices really worth it? It's definitely worth recommending.

Although the food at Surf & Turf was truly delicious, we were very disappointed with our visit on July 27, 2025. We had made a special reservation for our 30th wedding anniversary, but there was no decoration, nor was there the advertised welcome from the kitchen, or anything else. Even the expensive spritzer, so highly advertised here, arrived without any love and without any fruit decorations. We didn't even get a congratulations – we could hardly believe it and found it almost outrageous...

I arrived there alone and asked for a table, but everything was fully booked. I was able to sit a little to the side in a kind of beach chair with a small side table. The service was friendly; I ordered a glass of wine but didn't ask the price, and was amazed at the total of €10.50. I also ordered a small snack: giant beans in a slightly spicy tomato sauce. The sauce wasn't spicy, but the beans were only lukewarm. I complained; it took a while, but they were warm but not hot. I felt like I was being noticed, even though I wasn't spending a lot of money on my own. The location of the restaurant is great, sitting on the terrace with a view of Travemünde.

We spontaneously reserved a table for the evening in the morning. We had no idea that a French evening with live music would be waiting for us. It was very nice and entertaining. The view of the harbor is unique and the food was perfect. 5 stars!!! We'll be back!!!

Today is 7:20 p.m.! Do you have a reservation? Our kitchen is closed. We were recommended the restaurant on the golf course :( They offered us the opportunity to have a drink. It's mid-June :( We won't try it again. By the way, the Moin'sen around the corner is really great!

We went to Surf and Turf for the first time yesterday and were absolutely thrilled. The service was super nice and Jimmy has such a calm manner about him that immediately makes you relax and forget the stress of everyday life. The atmosphere is very cozy and we had a great view of the Trave and the ships that had arrived. The food was the best we've eaten in a really long time. Each component on the plate was simply perfect individually and in combination. All the oils, pesto and jus felt like a flavor explosion in our mouths. At first we didn't want dessert so that we could enjoy the taste of the main course for longer, but then we decided on the parfait and it was also really tasty. The grilled bread and the tzatziki as a starter gave us hope for an incredibly delicious meal and we were not disappointed. We reserved a table again for Saturday and are now looking forward to the really delicious food.

We were there again today and had the Easter special, lamb fillet and sea bass. It was so delicious.🤩 Great service and very attentive, we felt completely comfortable again. We would love to come back.🙂👍

Unfortunately we only went there to eat on our last day of vacation. The restaurant was on my favorites list from the start, and rightly so. The food was absolutely amazing. The best pikeperch ever and I often order pikeperch but this one was absolutely jammi. A modern contemporary interpretation of quality food. In Travemünde the same stuff is often offered in a greasy, unhealthy breading. But not in this restaurant. This is a high level, the chef understands how to implement fine cuisine in such a way that even allergy sufferers get their culinary money's worth. Great greetings from the kitchen (super delicious tomato soup) and at the end a delicious liqueur. This is how you get regular guests. Unfortunately we come from Bochum, otherwise we would be there more often. Great outdoor terrace with phenomenal views of the water and Travemünde. Top service. 13 points out of 12 ;) many greetings from the Ruhr area.

Good Mediterranean cuisine with good wines and great service

Service was very professional and attentive. Everything was remembered without writing it down and special requests were no problem. The food was very strongly seasoned and you don't have something like that very often anymore. I liked it very much, gladly again.

There is always someone who sees it differently... The dishes are okay individually, but thrown together in a completely inappropriate way: steak with prawns, with a Greek salad, Italian pesto and balsamic on top of everything (why?????), an American BBQ sauce and French rattatouille. With the sea bream, again completely covered with pesto and balsamic vinegar, there were fries or potato gratin. I've never seen it anywhere and it doesn't fit at all. Overall, the name of the restaurant is completely misleading as it is predominantly Mediterranean cube cuisine and has nothing to do with surf and turf in the classic sense. The condition, on the other hand, was really very committed. The ambience - I found it tasteless (look closely at the pictures).

We went to Surf & Turf for dinner last Friday. The staff were courteous and very friendly. We were able to enjoy the sundowner and the starter on the terrace and went to the restaurant for the main course. Everything is uncomplicated. The food is an absolute highlight! The prices are absolutely okay. The sundowner and dessert were tips from the waiter - and both were worth it!
