I was here with my nephew and everything was absolutely delicious in a fantastic atmosphere. Top-notch!!!

We went there for dinner in the evening. We had half a duck and a plaice. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was unusually cozy and inviting. We highly recommend this restaurant.

Still TOP in 2025! We were here last summer and came all the way from Hamburg especially for the incredibly delicious food. The fish dishes are fantastic, and our granddaughter said the pizza was also very good!

By chance, I got a little hungry during lunch and ended up at the Fisch & Meer Restaurant in Travemünde. It's a truly beautiful restaurant with historic charm. After a brief deliberation, I opted for the Finkenwerder plaice, which was superbly fried and flavorful. The potato salad served with it was probably not homemade, and the cucumber salad tasted as if they had simply forgotten to season it, but that didn't detract from the overall experience. Overall, it was a solid, honest lunch, just what you'd want on the coast.

I'd especially like to highlight the service: you rarely experience such attentive, warm, and professional service. They always asked at the right time whether everything was okay, without being intrusive – simply fantastic! The ambiance is cozy and maritime, and you immediately feel at home. A thoroughly enjoyable evening – we'll definitely be back!

A pleasant visit to this restaurant. Had a baked potato with herring and sour cream. The herring had lots of delicious red onions on it (let me know if you don't like it). My partner also ordered a baked potato with pink-roasted roast beef and sour cream. The roast beef (cold, as it should be) also had onions, but I don't think that's quite right. It would be better to serve a small cucumber salad. Or note on the menu that there are onions on the roast beef. But everything was good. The service was quick, friendly, and always attentive to the customer. The food was tasty and the price was really reasonable. All the dishes on the neighboring tables also looked very appealing. We'll be back. Keep up the good work.

A comfortably furnished restaurant in a historic building. You won't find any culinary highlights here, but rather solid, home-style cooking, well-prepared, at fair prices, and with very generous portions. The service is extremely friendly and attentive. All in all, a highly recommended restaurant.

The atmosphere is nice, right at the beginning of the promenade. We saw a lunch menu and wanted to eat there. After being greeted but only being seated after 15 minutes, we decided to go somewhere else!

I tipped 50 cents for a beer and a Coke, which was probably too little. No thanks, and on our next visit, an hour later, we wanted to eat there. The waiter avoided us and left us sitting there for half an hour. He kept looking past us. It was ridiculous and hilarious behavior. We went to the restaurant next door, where everything was excellent. Never again at the Alte Vogtei.

We often come here when we're in Travemünde. The food is always great, the fish is freshly prepared and really very good. The staff is always very attentive and friendly. The ambiance is great, and it's fun to watch the large ships enter the harbor while you eat. Highly recommended 👍👍👍!

The €9.90 fish soup was a tasteless broth with a boneless fish filling. Unfortunately, one of the scampi tasted a bit fishy. The best part was the fresh bread that came with it. The other vendors we tested could do better!

We went there for the first time yesterday. We sat outside, so we can't comment on the ambiance inside. Outside, it was just typical outdoor dining... The service was all very friendly and attentive. Drinks and food were served quickly, despite the busyness. Very good value for money for a vacation spot, with large portions. I had a "Wiener Schnitzel" to choose from, which I could upgrade to with pepper cream or Champion cream sauce. We were served two schnitzels with Champion cream sauce in a separate jug. Unfortunately, the schnitzel was cooked in the deep fryer like the fish, but at least the schnitzel tasted like it. Luckily, the sauce covered this up. My wife had two pike-perch, also two pieces, with fried potatoes and Mediterranean vegetables. A large portion, too. The fried potatoes were a bit greasy, but that's hard to avoid. But we'll definitely be back.

We booked at short notice for 10 people and were even late. It wasn't a problem. The food is good to very good and freshly prepared. The price and quality are right. The ambiance is very nice.

We came here quite by chance and were thrilled. The service was very friendly and we had a great table in the middle of the restaurant. The food was delicious. We had feta cheese and bruschetta for starters and various types of slaw for the main course, and everything was absolutely delicious. The service staff weren't dressed neatly and were constantly arguing. The technology was on the fritz. The food was okay, but the decor was very poor. We had a fish platter for two for €65, jacket potato with turkey strips, and spaghetti carbonara. We paid €114 for everything, including a drink each. As I said, it was okay, but not outstanding. Room for improvement.

The fish was great. The dill and mustard sauce wasn't our thing, and the vegetables were swimming in oil. Otherwise, a very nice restaurant with an interesting history.

The food lived up to expectations, the service was attentive, and the ambiance was rather mediocre. There was no other restaurant open on Priwall, the plaice was only on the online menu, and when I was asked if I wanted another Flensburger (which I insisted on), the waitress came back five minutes later and said they were unfortunately out of Flensburger 🙈.

The Fish & Sea Restaurant is located in the "Alte Vogtei" (Old Vogtei), perfectly combining modernity with history. I'm always delighted when old, historic buildings are given new life. The restaurant offers plenty of seating, both inside and outside, so everyone can find the perfect spot for their personal taste. Since it was an extremely hot day, and we'd already had an extra portion of soft serve ice cream 😋, this time we only had a nice, cold draft pilsner. But I'm pretty sure the local food is also worth seeing and tasting. So, in conclusion, I can say that a visit is absolutely recommended and practically a MUST when exploring Travemünde!

Whether you're a fan of fish dishes or other culinary delights, eating out is often just a brief distraction from the often dreary or even stressful everyday life, which is also fraught with all sorts of worries. We stopped in for dinner on our last day of vacation. The building and its furnishings are a real gem, and the history is explained very well in the menu. Inside there are many details that make a visit worthwhile. As for the food: we had the fish platter for two people, originally €64 but on offer for €59.90, which came beautifully presented. The fried potatoes were OK, unfortunately not crispy as we like them. The fish, every single one, was delicious, and the sauces that went with it were very flavorful. With Aperol, two white wine spritzers, and two coffees, we paid just under €90, which is reasonable. We would come again.

The fish platter for two was excellent, enough for three if you order a mixed salad first (the sauce was slightly sweet). The wine selection was limited. Service was quick and efficient. Atmosphere: The winding property creates small spaces with a personal touch.

We've been very satisfied every year for the past four years, but today we were very dissatisfied. The schnitzel was wobbly and greasy, the fries were still raw, the service was inattentive and then they demanded a tip. On top of that, we had a reserved table on the very edge of the train. Please improve again!

We were there for the first time with five people. The ambiance is very nicely designed. The appetizer platter for two was absolutely enough for four people and was very tasty. The main course was Baltic plaice, which was large and thick, juicy, and fried to a crispy consistency. The fries that came with it were very salty, which was fine for me/us, so we didn't need to add any more seasoning, but I'm sure some guests would mind that. The vegetables in the fish soup were unfortunately still frozen.

We were there spontaneously a few years ago, and this time we made a reservation for the evening of our arrival. Even with a dog, it wasn't a problem; she's well-behaved and usually goes unnoticed despite her 42 kg weight. The reservation, service, and attentiveness were excellent, thank you very much! The food was also excellent; we had the fish platter for two again and were not only full but also truly delighted.
