Ostseerestaurant in Lübeck

Der Eingangsbereich ist etwas eng, wenn man wartet einen Tisch zugewiesen zu bekommen, gekonnt ignoriert wird und bis auf diverse Hallos im vorbeigehen und Beschäftigung mit einer Bestellung über das POS-System die über 20 min dauert.... zwischendrin wird sich um eine Reservierung von jemanden der sich dazwischen drängelt gekümmert, das ganze bei nicht mal halb gefülltem Lokal.

Echte deutsche Küche, inklusive der einzigartigen Currywurst. Einfach köstlich!

Nettes authentisches Ambiente (etwas rustikaler aber so gehört sich das hier oben auch), das Essen definitiv empfehlenswert. Die Portionen waren vernünftig groß und vom Preis auch sehr gut. (Kann jetzt nicht sagen was von unserem Essen eventuell Convenience-Produkte waren, finde das aber auch nebensächlich wenn es schmeckt.) Jetzt zum Service........... Kein Hallo/Moin nur ein ich komme gleich, dann nur haben sie reserviert oder nicht und keine Nachfrage ob man drinnen oder draußen sitzten möchte. Die Karten wurden sofort gereicht, die erste Frage nach Getränken kam aber erst mit der Essens-Aufnahme knapp 15 bis 20 Minuten später. Das Essen war ziemlich pünktlich und fix da, zwischendurch keine Nachfrage ob alles ok wäre soweit oder ob man noch was trinken möchte. Die leeren Teller wurden erst abgeräumt als wir nach der Rechnung gefragt haben. Hätte man vorher abgeräumt, hätten wir wohl noch was zu trinken bestellt, aber so fühlt man sich oder wir nicht wohl. Alles in allem zeigte uns die Restaurantleitung vom ersten Moment das Sie nur im Stress ist, alles im Service wirkte wirsch, stressig und unkoordiniert. Zwischendurch haben Gäste neben uns Platz genommen und sind wieder gegangen aufgrund der Wartezeiten und andere sind von draußen zweimal reingekommen wegen ihrer Getränke. Endfazit: Wir waren in den Osterferien schon einmal dort und haben aufgrund der chaotischen Verhältnisse den Platz vorzeitig verlassen. Nun dachten wir jeder hat eine zweite Chance verdient, aber aufgrund des Service würde ich definitiv mit meiner Frau kein drittes mal mehr kommen. Selbst als Hotelgast, hat man bessere Alternativen in der Nähe wie z.B. im Aja.

Restaurant vom Hotel mit Terrasse mit Blick auf den Strand. Kindermenü hat den Kindern gefallen und auch die Auswahl auf der Karte ok.

Essen: Wirklich gutes Essen bei übersichtlicher Speisekarte. Soll heißen, die Auswahl war begrenzt, aber ausreichend. Service: Sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Ambiente: Man sieht dem Restaurant sein Alter an. Also eher rustikal, aber gepflegt. Und von fast jedem Platz einen guten Blick aud den Strand und die Ostsee.

Essen (Currywurst) war, trotz 15min Wartezeit, kalt. Ketchup/Majonnaise gab es erst auf Nachfrage. Als wir den Mangel bei der Servicekraft ansprachen wurde dies zwar zur Kenntnis genommen, aber dies gab trotzdem keinen Anlass zur Entschuldigung oÄ. Hier ist der Service, genau wie das Ambiente, leider in den 70ern stecken geblieben.

Die Begrüßung war typisch norddeutsch. War haben einen guten Tisch direkt am Fenster bekommen, da noch viele Tische frei waren. Danach wurden uns die Karten gebracht und dann würden wir ignoriert und nicht bedient. Wir sind dann wieder gegangen und haben in der Vorderreihe gegessen. Eine Empfehlung kann ich nicht geben.

Alles war perfekt. Gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Nette und charmante Bedienung. Schönes Ambiente. Toller Ausblick auf die Ostsee.

Das Pub ist gemütlich, unsere Kellnerin war freundlich und zuvorkommend , das Essen war super und sehr ausreichend.

Unmöglicher Rentnertreff, unfreundliches Personal, Kinder nicht erwünscht. Als Familie lieber einen großen Bogen machen!

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Abend im Ostsee Pub im Maritim Hotel. Die Ausstattung hat seinen ganz eigenen Charme. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Wir hatten einen Tisch im hinteren Bereich. Dort war es sehr gemütlich und ruhig.

Ein angenehmer Ort für ein Familienessen.

Das Essen war super. Nur der Service ließ etwas zu wünschen übrig, da sehr viel los war und die Damen nicht ganz hinterher kamen, obwohl sie zu dritt waren.

Essen im sehr schönen Ambiente. Wir waren überrascht vom Speisenangebot und Preis. Sehr lecker. Personal super freundlich. Wir sind gleich mehrfach Gast gewesen und kommen wieder. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Wir haben 2 x sehr sehr gut hier gegessen und einen super Platz mit Blick auf die Ostsee gehabt.Am dritten Tag hat das Personal gewechselt und aus einer einfachen Feststellung (das Vanille Eis der belgischen Waffel war ein anderes wie die Tage davor) wurde das von der jungen Bedienung sehr schnipisch kommentiert.Da am nächsten Tag das junge Mädchen wieder Dienst hatte haben wir uns ein anderes Restaurant gesucht.

Der Ostsee Pub ist sehr schwer eingerichtet, strahlt aber eine absolute Gemütlichkeit aus. Das Essen ist sehr gut und die Preise sind absolut fair. Die Servicekräfte sind freundlich, zuvorkommend und flott. Auf jeden Fall eben Besuch wert.

Gute, bezahlbare Speisen, toller Ausblick auf die Hafeneinfahrt. Sehr nettes Personal.

Super friendly service and a fantastic view of the Trave estuary with its ferry traffic. Our favorites: the fish stew and the fish and chips with homemade fries. We always enjoy coming here and enjoy the atmosphere and the view.

Very delicious food, prepared with love. My mother and I really enjoyed it. The ambiance is a matter of taste, but I think it fits very well with the 50-year-old Maritim Haus and its maritime history. Plenty of waiters, and everyone is very friendly and chatty. 😃 The price and portion sizes are reasonable and justified. See you next time. Bye

We had a wonderful evening with delicious food, a pleasant atmosphere with a lake view, and super friendly and competent service. We'll be back.

Super! Always a good spot to have a beer with fish and chips and watch the sea. Fish soup was also very good.

Unfortunately, high prices are not justified! Schnitzel has no waves of breading and the breading was thicker than the meat, the asparagus is no longer firm to the bite, the sauce from the bag and the tartare are too fine and seem slightly mushy! No seasoning possible because no chili 🌶️ available... only the wines were top! When you charge such prices you also have to offer quality! The service was always helpful and friendly, but unfortunately not attentive enough!

Food and service were good. In terms of equipment, it doesn't seem to be up to date.

We were there with our family of 9 to celebrate our parents' golden wedding anniversary. Unfortunately the table was not festively decorated, but it was large and very comfortable and the service was friendly. The menu is clear and regional (very good) and offers something for everyone. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the dishes - the chef was excellent and so we went there again on our last evening in Travemünde. There we met a different team, both in the kitchen and in service. This evening too, everything was fine, but the final "whistle" to "very good" was missing (the young waitress, for example, was very trying, but unfortunately not at all warm and seemed absolutely aloof and the dishes were completely different and also significantly less than the evening before) Since the first evening was wonderful, we still give it 5 stars and definitely recommend the Ostsee Pub.

We spent a week at the Maritim Hotel and went to the Ostsee Pub a few times. The food was really very good, as was the Hop House 13 beer from Guinness. The ladies served us very friendly. Unfortunately there are only a few seats at the bar, but at the right time of year you can also sit outside with a great view of the sea. Clear recommendation,👍

Relative sweet kale with a Krakauer! ate, went like this. Kale was dressed like red cabbage, well. Had a seat at the window, totally frozen. Pointing out that it was quite fresh, the waitress said "yes, that's right, I've just put on a jacket".

The fish & chips, advertised as the best, are really, really good. But as a regular pub-goer on the island: definitely not enough beer and especially whiskey selection for a pub. If you improve it a little, there are five Stars secured because the food was really good (except for the chilis in the fish and chips;))

After a business trip and a two-day stay at the Maritim Hotel in the rain, the evenings in the Baltic Sea Pub were a very good alternative to the hotel room. Out of curiosity, I deliberately read the negative reviews on Google about the pub. Now the question arises as to whether I saw the wrong reviews or went to the wrong Baltic Sea pub. Based on my experiences, the negative reviews are so out of thin air that I wonder whether the authors were actually there. Everything was great and very pleasant and I would always like to go there again.

Very good food, nice and competent service. Unfortunately, I wouldn't describe the restaurant as a pup because the Irish accent was missing and unfortunately no Guinness was served. But if you want good food, this is the right place.

We had reserved a table in the Maritim “Pub” for dinner on an anniversary day. In addition to a very tasty meal, the evening became a very nice experience for us thanks to various small touches from the staff. The “pub” offers a few tables at the window front with a view of the beach, the Baltic Sea and the entrance to the Trave. The tables further back are placed a little higher and therefore offer a nice view. There is also a covered terrace. The staff was extremely attentive and accommodating. We really enjoyed the food (we had the gourmet pan and the burger). For us it was a completely successful evening. We can recommend the Baltic Sea pub without reservation and will certainly come back there on our next visit to Travemünde. Only the two-seater benches (no chairs) at the window front are a little far away from the table and cannot be moved (moved closer).

Very friendly and attentive staff. The menu had a good selection and everything was fresh and tasty. The pub was nicely designed and the prices are okay for Travemünde. Reservations are definitely recommended in high season and over public holidays. We will come back on our next visit.

Fantastic tasty food, if you order fish n Chips ask for the sarson’s Malt Vinegar, they do have it. It can get busy so a table reservation is a must. The Service personnel were friendly and helpful. It was so welcoming that we reserved a table every evening. We will be back soon.

Short trip to Travemünde and stopped at the hotel's own Baltic Sea pub. Good decision!! Super delicious food: fish soup doesn't require a lot of ingredients, fish and chips require tartar sauce or aioli, great 👍🤰!! Very nice staff - we just found the tables to be too low. But otherwise: the vegan dish with rice and teriayki sauce was also great👌!! The breakfast buffet also offers everything you need!! Immediately again 👌

Old school restaurant, because time has stood still here. The patina matches the pub and we had fun traveling back in time to the 1970s. Very friendly service, great kitchen performance: labskaus, roast beef and fried fish plus fried potatoes tasted excellent. Update October 2021: The pub now offers a changed menu, unfortunately the roast beef has disappeared, among other things. Luckily, Labskaus, fried fish and the great fish soup are here to stay. We found the expensive pizza (bulk instead of class for 15 euros!) and the vegan Bolognese pasta quite scary. Doesn't fit, doesn't taste good. According to the friendly service staff, the restaurant will soon be completely renovated. We are excited! Update April 2024: The roast beef is back on the menu, which leaves little to be desired. Fish and meat dishes are great. The legendary fish soup was priced a bit too high for me at just under 17 euros. Overall, great level, very good civil skills. Can compete with Butz & Co.

With 4 people and 2 dogs, we have been able to enjoy the friendly service, the fine drinks, the tasty food and the cozy atmosphere over the last 4 days. And that's what we plan to do for the last 3 days of vacation. The price-performance ratio is absolutely right for us. We wouldn't have expected that. That's why we can't understand the negative reviews (by the way, we wear Camp David and The Northface 😏). Thank you to the service team at the Ostsee Pub and keep it up.

Trotz ausgebucht, haben wir einen Top Platz bekommen. Danke an Herr Schmiedel, der das möglich gemacht hat. Sehr gut organisiert! Trotz sehr vieler Gäste blieben keine Wünsche offen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Einfach super Lage direkt am Meer man kann so viele grosse Schiffe beobachten einfach super.

Das Mittagessen war hervorragend und reichlich. Allerdings Kaffee und Kuchen nicht. Kaffee lauwarm und bitter und Kuchen nicht auf die Personen am Tisch ausreichend angeboten. Auch auf Nachfrage keine Reaktion.

Es hat alles gut gepasst. Unser Essen war frisch, geschmacklich gut und die Auswahl war auch 👌

Tolles Restaurant, direkt im Maritim. Abends abwechselnde Büffets die richtig günstig sind. Die Lage traumhaft, Blick auf die Promenade und die Bucht. Essen ist richtig lecker, alles frisch und regional.

Hatte 6 Nächte im Maritim mit Halbpension gebucht. Frühstücks- und Abendbuffet nimmt man in diesem Restaurant mit direktem Ausblick auf den Strand und die Travemündung mit den ein- und ausfahrenden Fähren ein. Die Buffets sind gut und sehr abwechslungsreich. Der Service ist überragend. Habe mich in diesem Restaurant sehr wohl gefühlt. Vielen Dank an die MitarbeiterInnen dort!

Habe schon das3.mal im Maritim Urlaubstage verbracht und bin nie Enttäuscht worden...

Es war ein schönes Erlebnis hier das Personal ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam,sehr geduldig und hilfsbereit bei jedem einzelnen.. das Zimmer war sehr sauber und ordentlich Kann ich nur weiterempfehlen...🤗👍

Einen schöneren Ausblick als auf die Travemündung mit einlaufenden Schiffen kann es nicht geben. Wir genossen einen sehr schönen Abend in angenehm ruhiger Atmosphäre mit einem tollen Buffet und sehr freundlichem und aufmerksamen Personal.

Das Restaurant im Hotel hat einen tollen Ausblick. Das Inventar ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Das Frühstücksbuffet war reichhaltig und von allem etwas dabei. Das Abendbuffet hatte für meinen Geschmack zu wenig vegetarische Varianten. Die meisten Services- Kräfte sind sehr nett, aber es gibt immer die eine Bedienung die ihren Job nicht gerne macht und dies an den Gästen auslässt. Sehr schade.

Buffet Essen , solide, lecker, breit gefächert. Für Familien mit Kindern optimal.
