We have the voucher help and therefore came to Kandern specifically to eat in this restaurant. We were absolutely positively surprised. Attentive and friendly service. Small menu but everything is fresh and sooooo delicious. Food is lovingly prepared. We weren't here for the last time!

We were here on the Westweg passing through / staying overnight in Kandern! Hungry, tired and looking for a beer garden with shade. The senior tries his best. Wine cooler for delicious white wine included. A young employee who is still getting really good (will still learn and laugh 😉) and a very attentive chef make the restaurant with its delicious menu recommended! Prices okay for the quality! The salad was especially fantastic! Keep it up! And think about the umbrellas and the ambience 🤪 We'll be back! Best regards

We had a great lunch for 7 people today with all different salads and pasta meal. Service is friendly and fast. Food was in no time on the table. Bear in mind that payment is not possible with cards. Certainly a place to visit for a good meal.

Wir kennen ja den einen Koch schon aus seiner Zeit aus einem anderen Lokal. Heute das erste Mal in Kandern in der südtiroler Krone. Es war einfach von der Speisenqualität hervorragend. Ebenso der unheimlich nette Service hier wird Gastfreundschaft noch sehr groß geschrieben !!! Nun zum Essen : Ochsenbäckchen vom allerfeinsten - besser geht es nicht Punkt !! Das Rindersteak ebenso auf den Punkt gegart top !! Ein kleiner Kritikpunkt normalerweise mit einem Punkt Abzug aber das Essen hat dies egalisiert. Es ist nicht besonders schön auf den nicht eingedeckten Plastiktischen zu Essen. Es gibt einfache Papiertischläufer die das ganze etwas schöner und angenehmer gestalten. Alles in allem wir fahren die rund 25 km hin und wieder zurück bei so einem super guten Essen

Absolute insider tip!!! At first I was a bit skeptical as it was very empty but it was an absolute blast!!! Price-performance ratio 12 out of 10 points. Everything was super tasty, portions absolutely well balanced and surprisingly great language on the plate. We came across it over the gourmet block and will come again!

Unfortunately the service was very unfriendly. The food was absolutely not good. Soup was completely over salted and tasted old. Potatoes were completely soggy with fat. Beef tough and full of fat. Fries didn't taste good either. The only positive thing was the veal schnitzel, but it's not a great feat to create. Extra requests or other supplements will be rejected. The owner is super friendly but maybe he should look for new staff. The first and last time, unfortunately, we had high hopes, especially since the restaurant is also in the gourmet block. Thank God at least we saved money that way.

We spontaneously went to eat there after our hike. The service was incredibly friendly and very accommodating. The food was great and plentiful.

First of all - that was really great! Friendly staff, very kind to the children, really great food! We were there years ago and weren't that happy, but yesterday was really strong. Everything seems newer and more well thought out than back then. Service still has slight coordination difficulties but the rest is working! Please keep at it, it could be something great!

Very simple and inconspicuous from the outside and inside, but that is more than compensated for by the really nice and attentive hosts and a really excellent kitchen that uses absolutely fresh ingredients at really fair prices. There really is more reality than appearance here!

The food was super delicious and it tasted like home since I am South Tyrolean myself. Friendly, family-friendly staff in service and in the kitchen. A big compliment to the chefs because they create great dishes with passion and heart in the kitchen. I can recommend everyone to try it for themselves.

We were served very friendly. There is something for everyone on the menu. We were pleasantly surprised by the food, value for money was right. The dining room is a bit too big to sit comfortably. We also had the table next to the toilet door, which you don't need. Overall, highly recommended, I haven't had this pleasant feeling of being a welcome guest for a long time.

My absolute favorite in Kandern and the surrounding area. Was there for the first time today because I was in Kandern for work and the food was very tasty and the portion was completely sufficient. An absolute recommendation!

Wir waren zu dritt und hatten 2x Rinderfilet mit Spargel und einmal Rinderstak alles der Hammer. Sehr zu empfehlen da muss mann gegessen haben. Sehr gute Küche mit zwei Köche aus Brixen.

The food tasted excellent. In particular, the side salad and the saddle of veal steak with a parmesan crust were very delicately seasoned and the steak was fried to perfection - high culinary art! The apple strudel was very tasty. The price performance ratio is very good. We'd love to come back.

We went to the Krone for dinner for the first time today, after I was first convinced by the photos of the food on our Instagram profile. We were there with a total of four adults and two children. We were all extremely satisfied and full. The meat was tender in all dishes! Especially the cheeks together with the celery foam were an absolute dream. The service was very friendly, warm and open. The price-performance ratio was also very fair.

I have rarely eaten something as delicious as I did here! A huge compliment to the entire team! I had Bauerngraestl, the beef was more tender than I've ever eaten before! And my companion was also completely amazed by the South Tyrol style schnitzel! Big portions, great price! Simply super delicious!

Das Preisleistunhgsverhältnis ist wirklich toll. Jedes Essen das bestellt wurde war frisch und qualitativ gut. Nachdem bestellt wurde kam Essen sehr schnell und der Service war wirklich freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Südtirol? Wenn der Kellner und Koch südländischer Abstanmung ist(Türkei etc) und das Essen aus der Friteusee kommt dann kann man nicht von Südtirol sprechen. Alles in allem sehr enttäuschend und nicht empfehlenswert

Das Essen schmeckt - eine solide Leistung der Küche. Der Service ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Ein paar Tische stehen vor dem Eingang, so dass man auch draußen sitzen kann.

Ce resto nous a été vivement conseillé par un motard(moto guzzi)très sympa, qui en sortait,(que j aimerais d ailleurs remercier de vive voix..)habitué des lieux apparemment.Le repas était copieux et très bon,pour les 4 motars et motardes affamés que nous étions. Le service impeccable,et une terrasse agréable, n hésitez pas à vous y arrêter.

Wir waren mehr als positiv überrascht. Unsere Speisen - Kalbsrückensteak mit Kräuterkruste dazu Gemüse und Kartoffeln und die Schlutzkrapfen - waren fantastisch. Ein Geschmackserlebnis! Die Freundlichkeit des Personals ist hervorzuheben. Ein besonderes Lob gilt dem Koch! Ebenso stimmt das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis. Kann man nur empfehlen!

War ganz nett, hab zwar nur eine Cola getrunken, aber eine schöne Terrasse zum sitzen war vorhanden.

Servizio impeccabile, gentilezza idem, schlutzkrapfen, schnitzel e presumo tutta la restante scelta del menù davvero ottimi! Abbiamo trovato il posto perfetto per una pausa in un viaggio di più tappe.

Wir waren zum Abendessen mit Reservierung für zwo hier. Wir sind auf das Restaurant durch den Schlemmerblock aufmerksam geworden. Unsere Bestellung: 1x grüner Salat 1x Kalbsrücken mit Kräuterkruste 1x Rinderfilet Der Salat war stimmig. Leckere Sauce, leckeres, knuspriges Brot (Weißbrot und Schüttelbrot), keine unnötige Tomate als optische Beilage (Tomate = nicht grün! ;-) ). Hat mir sehr geschmeckt. Als Vorspeise vielleicht etwas zu groß, hatte aber großen Hunger. Würde ich wieder bestellen. Der Kalbsrücken mit Kräuterkruste war für mich perfekt. Besser geht nicht. Kräuterkruste absolut passend. Fleisch zart und geschmacklich der Hammer. Qualität top. Beilagen knackig, Sauce deliziös. Geil! Das Rinderfilet war auf den Punkt. Geschmacklich intensiv und einfach lecker. Die Kombination mit der Beilage (wie oben) ist unschlagbar. Selten findet man heutzutage so lecker zubereitetes Gemüse. Fazit: Ordentliche Portionen zum fairen Preis. Absolute Empfehlung in jeglicher Hinsicht. Auch das Essen der benachbarten Tische sahen sehr lecker aus. Über die schlichte Einrichtung des Restaurants lässt sich streiten, zählt hier aber definitiv nicht die Bewertung. Danke!

Gewärmtes Essen, die Kartoffeln waren braun bis schwarz aber kalt , das Tirolerschnitzel lauwarm der Käse darauf war Scheiblettenkäse und nicht verlaufen . Da wir 21 Personen waren (Wanderer) und angemeldet, hätten wir eigentlich gerne ein Tagesmenü gehabt was nicht möglich war, so konnte jeder was anderes bestellen. Schätze das alles tiefgefroren war . Schade , nochmal gingen wir nicht mehr hin. Und wir haben eigentlich Südtiroler Speisen erwartet . Aber das war anscheinend mal

Wir aßen Cordon-Bleu und Schnitzel Wiener-Art, dazu jeweils ein Beilagen-Salat. Beides hat uns ausgezeichnet geschmeckt, und das zu einem sehr fairen Preis. Die Bedienung war ausgesprochen freundlich. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Aus unserer Sicht durchaus empfehlenswert.

Habe mit meinem Bruder in diesem Restaurant in Kandern Mittag gegessen. Ich ein riesiges argentinisches Steak mit Gemüsebouquet für nur € 22.90 und mein Bruder Schnitzel mit Pommes Frites für nur etwa 14 €, dabei waren es 2 grosse Schnitzel. Beste Küche, Essen war heiss. Super. Für uns als Schweizer sind diese Preise wahnsinnig günstig. Wirtsleute freundliches Ehepaar und der Koch ist ihr Sohn!

Einfach nur perfekt! Freundlicher Service zu md die Qualität vom Essen so wie man es aus Südtirol kennt. Für uns mittlerweile ein kleiner Geheimtipp! Und der Kaiserschmarrn ist einfach nur göttlich!
