Super friendly staff, very personal service. Good quality in a unique atmosphere. Fair prices.

Unfortunately, we wouldn't visit this restaurant again. We waited for over 30 minutes before anyone even came to take our drinks order, and it also took a relatively long time for the drinks to arrive. There were no plates left at the salad bar. The food was rather mediocre. The landlady and landlord tried hard but were obviously completely overwhelmed, which was a shame because the restaurant had potential; the atmosphere is very cozy and inviting. We ordered schnitzel with pork and veal, but when the waiter came, he couldn't tell us which was pork or veal; that just doesn't make a very good impression.

There's still room for improvement here. Friendly, but overwhelmed. The food was okay. Although I had the schnitzel with fries, you can't go wrong with that. The ambiance inside is cozy. The first impression from the outside isn't great, due to two parked, unregistered vehicles. But I'm convinced the owner will improve, that's the feeling I have. Let's give him a chance. 😉

Great friendly welcome, generous and delicious meal

We visited the restaurant for the first time yesterday, August 9th, and were immediately surprised by the warm welcome from the owners and team. They also allow dogs, so they're animal lovers. The meal with dessert was excellent, as were the drinks. We immediately booked for a birthday party in September. We wish the owners all the best in the future, thanks to their friendly and welcoming manner. All the best to you until next time, Walter and Gisela.

We were guests at this very cozy restaurant this evening. The service was excellent, as was the food and wine. It's also worth mentioning that the hosts are absolutely dog-friendly, which isn't something to be taken for granted. Thank you for the lovely evening.

Very good address, very friendly service for good quality food at reasonable prices. In summer, a shaded beer garden is pleasant. To expand the restaurant, it might be wise to develop the outdoor space by developing the courtyard and parking (indirect lighting, furniture, etc.). We will be back.

We recently visited this lovely restaurant and felt completely at home: friendly hosts, a relaxed atmosphere, and, last but not least, excellent food – finally, some good, traditional Baden cuisine in the area. A real insider tip!

We stayed in Wolbach, and the restaurant was 500 meters from our accommodation. The food, service, and atmosphere were excellent. It's a shame we didn't stay longer to eat there again. Highly recommended for anyone staying in the area. The price and quality were excellent, and we enjoyed it with ice cream and a latte.

Salad plate – the green salad in the middle had dressing. The salads around it had no dressing! I would definitely not eat salad here again.

We almost drove past and are very glad we turned around. A very nice restaurant with very friendly service. We were craving meat, and we were rewarded. My veal cordon bleu was fantastic—very juicy and tender—and the veal schnitzel my wife ordered was just as good. The portions were very generous. As dog owners, we were also impressed by the two resident dogs.

We can recommend the Bruckmühle with a clear conscience. The food was very good. You can tell the ingredients and preparation were fresh. And the service was perfect and friendly. This was our second time there and we'll definitely be back.

Wir waren mit einer größeren Gruppe vor Ort. Wir hatten reserviert. Man hat uns gefragt, ob wir draussen oder drinnen sitzen wollten. Wir haben uns für draussen entschieden. Der Wirt war sehr freundlich, aber an dem Abend zumindest etwas überfordert. Wir hatten nicht die angemeldete Anzahl der Stühle und Tische. Darum mussten wir uns selber kümmern. Auch mit der Weinbestellung gab es Kommunikationsschwierigkeiten. Die Weinkarte ist offenbar etwas irritierend verfasst. Das Essen kam weitestgehend gemeinsam. War sehr gut. Und dem Preis auf jeden Fall angemessen. Sonderbestellungen waren kein Problem. Gestört hat uns, daß am Nebentisch ( mit der Billigung des Wirts ) geraucht wurde.

We were here for dinner during the week with five people. We had made a reservation in advance. The Bruckmühle Inn has approximately 50 seats. We had an outdoor seating area, which was very pleasant in the almost 30-degree weather. The interior is rustic and down-to-earth. We ordered a variety of dishes. We were allowed to help ourselves to the mixed salad from the salad buffet, which we consider a good option, as everyone has different salad preferences. The main courses arrived after a short wait and were very tasty. We learned that the owner has only been at this restaurant since December 2024 and hasn't done much advertising yet. We would happily recommend the Bruckmühle Inn 👍

The service was very nice, but the food was unfortunately very expensive, and the fries tasted strongly of old grease. Therefore, the value for money was unfortunately not good.

Everything was simply great. The service was super friendly. The ambiance is very nice. The Cordon Bleu, for example, was a custom order. This meant choosing the meat, side dish, and sauce. The portion was large and perfectly adequate. The taste was wonderful. It's also great in the summer when you can sit outside. Important! Dogs are always welcome, which is clearly visible at the entrance. I think that's great!

The menu offers classic Baden cuisine with high-quality ingredients and lots of taste. Particularly recommended: the Cordon Bleu. The portions are generous, the prices are fair. The service was very friendly, attentive and warm - you feel completely comfortable. We would be happy to come back and recommend the Bruckmühle to anyone who appreciates good food in a cozy environment!

The inn reopened in December with a breath of fresh air in a beautiful old ambience.

We visited this wonderful location for the first time today and are thrilled! The restaurant is a little away from the street and therefore nice and quiet, with enough parking space. As soon as you enter the old mill, you will see a wonderful restaurant with a beautiful, inviting atmosphere. We were greeted very friendly by the landlord and shown to a table where we could study the food and drink menu. Home-style cooking with lots of home-made specialties at very fair prices. Our food, cheese spaetzle and schnitzel with hunter's sauce and spaetzle, was really amazing, simply top! We were also completely impressed by the service and the manner of the boss; you really felt very welcome. We are definitely coming back and can really recommend it to everyone as a real tip to stop by here and enjoy something delicious.

We stopped by for dinner spontaneously as we were just out for a walk in Kandern. What can I say? We were given such a warm welcome by the gentleman who works there. It was very busy, and he politely asked us if we had time, as it would take a little while and they would hurry up so we could be served as quickly as possible. Just because of his friendly demeanor at that moment, we naturally waited, and the wait was worth it. The service was simply fantastic. The food was also excellent. I can highly recommend it, and we'd love to come back 😊

We were super satisfied with the food and drinks, very tasty. Very friendly staff, the boss himself comes to the table. So the question is why only 2 tables are occupied on Saturday evening at the beginning of December? I think I know the answer. It was simply too cold in the restaurant. I sincerely hope that there is a way to fix this mango because I would like to be a guest on my birthday again. 🤗

Cordon Bleu Schnitzel was delicious. The salad on the side was not what I expected- mostly because it was presented differently than I’m used to but it was fabulous. Server was very friendly and knew enough English to compensate for my lack of German. Was very cool to have the original mill under the glass in the dinning room floor. Would never guess that there is wonderful food and people in the big old barn! Would totally recommend!

Von der Vorspeise bis zum Dessert ein Genuss. Unsere Fleischgerichte waren ausgezeichnet, überrascht hat und die Portionsgröße, doch noch viel mehr die sehr gute Qualität und vor allem die perfekte Zubereitung. Ich war auf der Suche nach guter deutscher Küche... Und habe lange hier und auf google die Karten studiert und mich dann für die Bruckmühle entschieden.. Gute wahl... Das Krenfleisch war ein Traum und die Pasta meiner Frau mit den frischen Pfifferlingen auch sehr lecker. Schöne Einrichtung guter Service lecker Essen U d als der Koch am Tisch vorbeikam stellt sich raus.. Der kommt aus der selben Ecke wie ich... What are the chances...? Unbedingt wieder...

Man sollte für die Bruckmühle in Wollbach reservieren und das COVID-Zertifikat wurde korrekt kontrolliert. Das Gasthaus hat nur donnerstags bis sonntags geöffnet. Der Gasthof ist einmalig und das Personal äusserst freundlich! Das Essen war diesmal einfach nur fantastisch: Grosse Portionen und liebevoll angerichtete Teller. Das Zanderfilet war sehr gut, das Rumpsteak Madagaskar butterzart, ohne Fett und einfach perfekt und auch das Cordon Bleu war sehr fein. Auch der Salatteller davor war nur aus frischen Zutaten und auch sehr gut. Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Abend in einer einmaligen Gaststätte mit super freundlicher Bedienung und wirklich gutem Essen! Gerne wieder! Kompliment an die Küche!

Huge portions, excellent spätzle. We had been fully satisfied although we would have expected less meat dishes or at least more veggie dishes. However, they have the Käs Spätzle and even were flexible enough to prepare a vegetable (and glutenfree) plate for my partner. All together not too bad.

Wir haben wunderbar zarte Rindssteaks mit Kroketten und Böhnchen geschmaust.Die Bedienung war sehr aufmerksam und wir empfehlen einen Besuch.

Hier findet ihr sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal. Auch kommt der Koch persönlich aus der Küche und fragt nach, auch wenn es mal die Zeit nicht so ganz erlaubt. Deftige und gutbürgerliche Küche, wie Sauerbraten mit Spätzle und Rotkohl ist hier noch das, wie man es erwartet, im Ambiente einer ehemaligen Wassermühle. Rustikal und gemütlich eingerichtet. Auch für Kinder hat man hier Platz und Stühle! Das Dessert, Kuchen vom Feinsten, selbst gebacken. Ein Gedicht. Ich kann nur sagen: "Guten Appetit"

Wir waren am Sonntag wieder mal in der Bruckmühle zum Nachtessen. Der Gasthof zählt zu den ältesten und schönsten Gebäude des Markgräflerlandes und bekommt von mir 5 Punkte. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Das Essen ist gut bürgerlich (Badische Küche) und die Portionen sind reichhaltig. Für das Essen gebe ich 3 Punkte und so ergeben sich insgesamt 4 Punkte. Das Cordon Bleu kostet EUR 16.50. Die Pommes waren perfekt! Die Lendchen im Speckmantel kosten EUR 17.- Die Spätzle waren frisch, aber für unseren Geschmack zu fade. Man konnte zwischen grünem Salat oder Gemüse wählen. Zu beachten: Bezahlung nur mit Bargeld - es ist keine Kartenzahlung möglich!

Wir waren heute dorten nach einer Taufe. Das Essen war lecker und die Portionen ausreichend. Diese Wirtschaft kann man weiter empfehlen.

In der historischen Mühle lädt ein heller, freundlicher aber auch sehr schnörkeliger Gastraum und in den Sommermonaten ein wunderbarer Garten zum Verweilen ein. Herzhafte Hausmannskost und üppige Portionen lassen gewiss keinen Gast hungrig den Nachhauseweg aus dem Lokal oder der herrlichen Gartenwirtschaft antreten. Donnerstag ist Waietag! Sehr zu empfehlen, denn da gibts echte Markgräfler Waie und keine aufgetauten Teigflaten. Geschmacklich extraklasse!

Der Gasthof zur Bruckmühle in Wollbach hat ein gemütliches Gastzimmer und bietet eine kleine Speisekarte mit währschafter badischer Küche zu vernünftigen Preisen. Der Gasthof ist Donnerstag bis Sonntag geöffnet und wir kehren hier regelmässig gerne ein. Der Gasthof liegt etwas versteckt. Wenn man von Basel her kommt, sollte man nach Durchfahrt durch Wollbach das Tempo leicht reduzieren, dass man die Abzweigung, links über die Gleise des "Kandertalerbähnli" nicht verpasst.

An einem Donnerstag Abend, mit deutschen Freunden,nach einem Ausflug ins Badische (Blauen-Turm, Salzburg Bergbau Museum und die obligate Kirche, dann Kaffee und Kuchen in Stauffen), auf den Rückweg in die "Bruckmühle in Wollbach bei Kantern. Wir dürften uns an den Runde Tisch setzen. Ich nahm das Menü, "Rindsleber mit Rösti" mit Salat im Voraus, für Sag und Schreibe 8.50 Euros.Die Rechnung für 2 Personen mit Wein,Mineralwasser und Kaffee um die 25 Euros. Grosszügige Portionen und Freundliche Bedienung noch dazu. Was will man mehr? PGL
