Really bad Subway - I'm writing this review in the hope that something will change as I visit this Subway very often as I like the food, but the place itself is just very, very poorly run. You are always forced to order at the kiosk system (Essens Terminals) - but they NEVER have printer paper in them. Then you order at the machine and after you pay, you have no proof that you bought anything at all. Then you have to go to the checkout to place your order, but then it happens: we only have 2 types of bread to choose from and not the bread you wanted. How can there be no bread at 3 p.m. on a weekday? There was only one cheese left and now you could say it was a stressful day. No, that's standard practice in the store and as I said, I'm writing this on a normal Tuesday at 3 p.m. If I come tomorrow when the shop opens, I won't be able to order anything because the bread still has to bake and cool down and even if the shop opens at 10:00, the earliest you can buy a sub is 10:30. That's just not possible and they should be finished baking when the shop opens at 10:00. This is really the most poorly run store I know and I don't even want to start with the sub points, which often don't work here either.

Asked for untoasted and watched as they put it in the oven, did not have all bread varieties, only had two choices of crisps so I couldn't get any (sour cream and onion with an onion intolerance isn't good) and gave me the wrong cookies - it's a good thing I'm not nut allergic or vegan. I also didn't see them change gloves at any point between the orders.

Terminals for ordering are all well and good, but his wishes are ignored. You just want olives from the side of the salad and ask if you can get more. I got a lousy 8 halves of olives on the footlong. Honestly, what's the point of this crap? Didn't know that the Subway ingredient list is a law and not a guideline that can be changed by the customer upon request! Asking for €14 in the menu and not being able to redeem the coupons you have hurts! Not recommended here!

Worst service I've ever had at a Subway. Order placed at the terminal. The colleague didn't have onions or caramelized onions, which I paid extra for, so he just left them out without warning. Instead of 2 sauces I got one. I then had to ask him myself whether I would at least get a cookie as compensation. He just threw it onto the counter in a very unfriendly manner. Actually, I should have asked for my money back.

Visited there today for a take away footlong Sandwich and ordered through the ordering machine. Don't know why, but the guys on the counter were seems to be in hurry, as I was watching my order to be prepared & saw that half of the veggies were missed to the sandwich. Also my sandwich was about to be wrapped after adding only one sauce and since I was watching it hence requested to add the second one..... This is my 2nd visit and similar experience in past, hence don't think I shall visit here again.

Very very unfriendly... I don't mean any harm, but communicating with people was really difficult because most of the people employed there don't speak German. The boss was on site, didn't understand a word, it was all well and good, something like that happens everywhere and you always do your best to communicate positively no matter who, but this "boss" was absolutely not cut out for his job. Didn't understand the order, prepared it incorrectly, then became so rude that we probably said something different. As I said, unfortunately there was a lack of understanding on the part of the owners. Absolutely not recommended

Definitely needs improvement. Ordered take-out subs here with 2 other people. All three of our subs were completely cold - they were probably not heated in the oven at all, as is usually the case. A friend who had ordered a paid extra for his sub was subsequently completely missing. Otherwise it's a typical subway.

I LOVE Subway, but here I would recommend walking the five minutes longer and going to the Subway at the tram stop. Here you are treated unkindly and never, ever get what you want (I've eaten here 10 times now and that's enough) The fact that my sub is toasted contrary to what I said - okay. But then being told that's not the case, it's not okay. In addition, extra costs are charged for, for example, extra cheese, which you then don't get on your bread. When you ask the stressed-out employees about it because you CAN SEE how it's being prepared, they say that's not true... huh?!

I'm there at least once almost every week and have always been very satisfied with the whole thing. The subs there are always very well stocked and, above all, very freshly prepared, in contrast to some other Subway branches. The employees there are also very friendly and very helpful, especially one employee named Hala. You can tell that she loves her job. Hopefully she will always be there. I absolutely cannot understand people who portray this branch as a bad one. The only thing I have to complain about is that the store isn't really that big and offers very little space. But that was it. I hope that the subway always stays in Deutzer Bahnhof and so do the employees. I'm practically a regular customer there

My recent visit to a Subway restaurant was disappointing and not up to the standard I have come to expect from this chain. The cleanliness left a lot to be desired. The counter where the sandwiches are prepared was visibly dirty. The general condition of the restaurant also appeared unkempt and unhygienic. For a chain that promotes freshness and quality, this is a big negative. The service was also very unsatisfactory. The manager on duty that day was extremely rude and showed little interest in the customers. I also observed that he worked without gloves, which represents a major hygiene risk. Another problem was the portion size. Despite my experience as a former Subway employee and my knowledge of standard portion sizes, I received significantly less meat on my sandwich than usual. This gives the impression that ingredients are deliberately saved here, which is not only disappointing but also unprofessional. Overall, this visit was a huge letdown. The dirty ambience, unfriendly service and lack of hygiene are unacceptable. I hope this review helps the management take the necessary measures to improve the standard of this Subway restaurant. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend a visit until then.

Attention: Different opening times. We didn't get anything at 10:30 p.m. even though it was supposed to be open until 11:00 p.m. The display was still completely full and there were probably 30 cookies left. Everything was thrown away and we got nothing. Please adjust the opening times to realistic times. It's okay that you can't get a sub at 10:55 p.m., even if it can't be made during opening hours. But I think half an hour beforehand is reprehensible.

Watching Flies crawling all over the food ingredients before they put it in your sandwich. I get it's a hot day and you want to leave the door open. But there are subway execs being paid alot to come up with a solution. Aircon maybe so staff don't need to keep the door open and contaminate your food about to eat.

I'm absolutely disappointed! The cookies were obviously a little older and were therefore dry... my sub only had three pieces of corn and very little chicken teriyaki. The service told me that I had to pay extra for the corn and ended up giving me an extra tip... you could also just eat bread with sauce! The same thing would happen. This subway is open until 10pm rather than 11pm. The subs were always okay in terms of quality and quantity. Availability of ingredients is also no worse than in other stores. Speed and organization below average. It is not clear whether you have to order at the terminals; sometimes orders are also accepted in the traditional way. Sub can sometimes take 15 minutes even when there is little going on. Terminals do not calculate the reduced price for three cookies but rather all individually.

My new favorite subway in Cologne! I'm actually not a big fan of fast food, but the subway at Messe Deutz really blew me away! The crew there is great - always smiling and super helpful when you don't know what to take. And the food? Simply delicious! I love how you can build your own sandwich from scratch. No matter whether with extra lettuce or double cheese, it always tastes fresh and just the way I like it. What particularly struck me was the attention to detail in the preparation. Nothing is just slapped together; every sandwich is like a little work of art. You can just tell that quality and customer satisfaction are very important here. This order was a disaster. I had 12 minutes until my train arrived. I only ordered a wrap. There were 2 people in front of me, each with a wrap and a 15cm sandwich. The woman in service worked super slowly and unfortunately didn't manage to make the wrap. The colleague just sat next to him. 2 minutes before my train arrived, I asked if I could cancel the order, it hadn't even started. She just answered no in an unfriendly and incomprehensible manner. I then asked her to prepare the wrap and give it to someone else. She replied very rudely, “I’ll do it and you have to do it yourself.”

I ordered sub of the day (chicken fajita) and Simon typed chicken teriyaki at the checkout so I wouldn't get a discount. Then I asked him for the receipt and he said let's eat now, come on because it takes a while after I've eaten, I asked again for the receipt then he said the machine is broken but when I was eating it printed out a lot of receipts. And then his colleague Amien comes, he just wanted to hit me if I didn't go any further. And by the way, Amien told me that there is no sub of the day even though I also got sub of the day from them last week. And I've been working at Subway for over two years now.

Ordered the chicken teriyaki meal deal on their self ordering kiosk. It gave me the option to customize and I did but when they made it, it was with none of the customization I had selected, wrong bread, added the toppings I had dis-selected and none of the others I had chosen. If you’re just not able to customize when you order a meal deal then it shouldn’t give you the option.

Tried to go here last week, when I asked an employee whether or not I had to use the terminal she told me I could also order at the front (I wanted to save time before my travel and get food asap). After waiting some minutes for her colleague he then told me I'd have to use the terminal. At that point it was too late as I had to catch my train. Today I had to travel again and directly went to terminals. Multiple items were marked as unavailable so I figured I'd actually get those that weren't marked. I ordered a menu of Sub, side and drink out of which every single item was done wrong. The side and drink of choice weren't available and ibstead of heating my Sub I got a cold one (which I only noticed after leaving). Considering it's a Subway at a busy train station I'd be more understanding if it was busy, but other than me there were only 2 other customers within the timeframe. It's not completely unacceptable in terms of service, but definitely very disappointing.

The food was ok, but they added stuff which I had told to remove and then the cleanliness was questionable. The removed tomatoes from the sandwich were put back in the trays to be served to other customers. And the tables were not cleaned. They packed our food even though we told them that we would like to eat it right there.

That they can't make sandwiches, because Oven is broken??! But I can see they prepared salads everything for sandwiches and oven was on and inside was breads🍞 too.then I asked what I can order? Es war viel los und ein Bestellautomat war defekt. Die Angestellten waren beide sehr freundlich und schnell. Ich habe daher mein Sandwich trotz der vielen Besucher ohne lange Wartezeit bekommen. Zum Essen im Laden ist allerdings nur sehr wenig Platz.

Mitarbeiter sind in der Rush Hour mit den Orders leider heillos überfordert. Was aber auch für sich spricht eigentlich, denn das Essen schmeckt gut. Vielleicht ist es auch dem sehr kleinen Laden geschuldet. Esse hier gerne, außer es ist viel los, denn dann kann es schonmal sein, dass man 20 Minuten auf seinen Sub warten muss.

Es ist bedauerlich, dass in einem Subway am Bahnhof trotz leicht gesteigertem Kundenaufkommen ein Baguette nach 20 Minuten noch nicht serviert wurde. Aufgrund meiner anstehenden Zugabfahrt musste ich letztlich auf das Sandwich verzichten. Die Arbeitsweise der Mitarbeiter erschien mir recht langsam und nicht koordiniert, was einen wenig professionellen Eindruck hinterließ.

Ich bin sehr enttäuscht, 2 Mitarbeiter arbeiten unabgesprochen an unserer Bestellung, vermischen die Brötchen mit dem FALSCHEN Belag, es wird die falsche Soße drauf gemacht und Käse wurde KOMPLETT vergessen!!! Die Kekse wurden noch beinah vergessen und beim raus nehmen wurden noch fast die falschen eingepackt. Einfach sauerei!!!

Schlechtester Subway Imbisse den ich je erlebt habe u bin seit vielen Jahren Kunde, war sogar Mitarbeiterin an anderem Standort vor Jahren. Man wartet hier 10-Mal solange wie irgendwo anders auf sein Sub-Sandwich, da man am Automaten kompliziert vorbestellen muss, die Mitarbeiter Alle kein deutsch oder englisch sprechen und dann auch noch 5 Minuten vor meinem aufgeschnittenen Brot warteten bevor sie es (Veggiedelite) mit dem Gemüse belegten. Brot war eher zäh und zu feucht, Gemüse (karottenhobel) schon völlig ausgetrocknet. Der Laden war währenddessen voller wartender Menschen, und die Angestellten belegten zu dritt alle fünf Minuten ein Sandwich in der Zwischenzeit standen sie untätig vor einem. Sehr absurdes Verhalten und für mich unverständliche Arbeitsweise. Schneller bekommt man sein Essen, man fährt zum nächsten Subway an hbf rüber

Seit Ewigkeiten mal wieder Subway probiert. Hatte mich auf ein SUB des Tages gefreut, welches es aber laut der Mitarbeiterin nicht mehr gibt. Auf der Website wird dafür noch geworben. Als Alternative wurde mir ein Taco Chicken oder sowas empfohlen. Ich habe noch nie ein so ekelhaftes Sub gegessen. Es war auch absolut dürftig und lieblos belegt, mit enorm wenig Salat. Käse gibt es bei dem wohl auch nicht. An der Kasse kam das tolle Angebot dann 7 Euro. Nie wieder.

Sehr enttäuscht vom Subway an diesem Standort, ein fetter minus Punkt geht an den Mitarbeiter der auf Türkisch non- stop geflucht und Tische und Stühle während man gegessen hat, aus Wut an die Wand gerückt hat, der Grund: ein junger Herr wollte, aufgrund von Zeitdruck seine Bestellung vorgezogen haben, das hat dem Mitarbeiter wohl so verärgert dass er die nächsten 10 Minuten vor allen Kunden und im Lager geflucht und mit den Händen gefuchtelt hat!! Das geht gar nicht, ich will während des Essen weder türkische Beleidigungen hören, noch Ausraster miterleben, leider haben die anderen Mitarbeiter sich nicht getraut etwas zu sagen. Das Essen war auch sehr schlecht, das Brot hat ziemlich alt geschmeckt und es gab kaum Soße auf den Sandwiches.

This is one of the worst Subways I have been to in the entire world. And I have visited more than I can count. Service was horrendous, staff was inamicable, ingredients were poor and three things that I asked for were not put in the sandwich. We were treated in a very disrespectful way end-to-end. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. GO TO ANY OTHER SUBWAY. SUBWAY SHOULD TAKE AWAY THEIR LICENSE ASAP. Do yourself a favor and do not go to this location. You’ll thank me later.

La experiencia en este Subway fue negativa en todos los sentidos: - La actitud y el trato de los empleados hacia los clientes (todos) fue desinteresada. - El sándwich no tenía ni los ingredientes, ni las salsas seleccionadas en la máquina. - La galleta a pesar de haber seleccionado un sabor en particular la elección era completamente aleatoria. - No querían devolver el importe extra de los envases plásticos. - A pesar de estar ubicado en una estación de tren internacional, no hablan otro idioma más que alemán.

Die schlechteste Bedienung in einem subway-Restaurant, die ich je erlebt habe. Es hat mich eine Dame mit hochgesteckten Haaren, die mit einer Art Tuch zusammengebunden waren, bedient. Schaut mich an und sagt, ich solle die Bestellung an einem der Bildschirme aufgeben. Ich frage mich, warum kann sie meine Bestellung nicht aufnehmen. Nach drei bis vier Minuten stellt sich heraus, dass ich an den Bildschirmen nicht bar zahlen kann, auch nicht nach Abschluss des Bestellvorgangs. Ich frage die Mitarbeiter, wie ich als Barzahler bestellen kann und werde dieses Mal zur Theke gerufen, wo ich doch die Bestellung aufgeben kann. Die Dame mit dem Tuch auf dem Kopf hatte ich schon in einer anderen Filiale gesehen. Sie hat keine Lust zu arbeiten. Das sieht man ihr auch an. Vergrault mit Sicherheit Kunden. Ich habe jedenfalls keine Lust von ihr bedient zu werden. Man merkte irgendwie auch, dass die Stimmung unter den Mitarbeitern nicht die beste ist.

Mit ca. 10 Minuten Verspätung wurde der Laden am Feiertag (01.05.) geöffnet. Als ich bestellen wollte, sollte ich lt. Servicemitarbeiter am Touchscreen Bestellung machen. Bei der Zubereitung wurde ich dann erst darauf hingewiesen das es keine roten Zwiebeln gab! Zudem wurde mein Sub komplett durchgeschnitten, sodass ein vernünftiges Essen ausgeschlossen war! Was mich aber am meisten ärgerte, dass ich durch die Bestellung am Touchscreen keine Treuepunkte sammeln konnte! Der Mitarbeiter vor Ort wusste davon nichts! Absolut nicht empfehlenswert!

Das Subway Sandwich hat die typische Subway Qualität. Allerdings ist es ein wirklich krass, das keine Bargeldzahlungen möglich sind. Zum Glück konnte ich andere Kunden fragen, ob sie für mich zählen und diesen das Bargeld geben.

Das Bild anderer Rezensionen kann ich nur bestätigen. Sehr unfreundliche Mitarbeiter, die provokativ auf Nachfragen reagieren und einen noch für eigene Fehler anmachen. Nur das Essen war wie bestellt. Einen Besuch kann ich dennoch nicht empfehlen.

Apparently they don't accept vouchers or app vouchers for which the restaurant is registered. The employee just laughs strangely and says: “There are always vouchers, we don’t take them”. It's better to go somewhere else, there are enough good Asian restaurants and kebab shops in the immediate vicinity.

Totally overpriced and poorly served. The coupons are also not accepted. To charge three times the price for a footlong dipper and then do nothing about it is just audacious.
