I hope this will ever improve... Half a sub used to fill me up. Today not even a whole one was enough! There was so little topping on the salami, three slices paper-thin that I could hardly taste it. But 30 cm for just under 20 euros?!?! And a display like at McDonald's, you can't see how much is being put on it or whether my extras are being added. Overall, the worst thing I've eaten in a long time, not even getting full for that much money, I'd rather go somewhere else. It's a shame, I always liked Sub Way, but it's not worth it anymore.

Thanks to cost-cutting measures, you've now lost a loyal customer. You pay almost €10 for a 30cm sub and there are only half as many vegetables on it as there were a few years ago. That's probably why they introduced screens, so you can't see how your order is being prepared. It should be normal to get the same proportion of vegetables in every bite and not just bite into bread at the end because they only put three slices of cucumber or tomato on the bread. My mouth is burning because they used the wrong (too hot) sauce. I used to work at Subway myself and I'm extremely disappointed. Normally they put 6 slices of cucumber and tomato so you get the same proportion in every bite. Definitely a downgrade!!!

Unfortunately, my visit to Subway at Goetheplatz was very disappointing. Despite clear communication, my order was prepared incorrectly twice. I paid for additional ingredients, but I didn't receive anything – a complete no-go. My companion also received a cookie that was obviously no longer fresh. Overall, the experience was very disappointing, and in retrospect, I would have preferred to keep my money. Neither the quality nor the service was up to scratch here.

What used to take 3-5 minutes now takes what feels like 20-30 minutes with the terminals for self-ordering. This system makes sense if you have several employees (e.g. McDonalds or Burger King), but not with two employees. In addition, the terminals do not work properly because they close the selected option in the middle of the ordering process. Overall, a deterioration compared to the previous system without terminals.

You order from vending machines here, which is basically a great idea. I ordered takeout and unfortunately received a different sub even though my order number was verified. I I got a different vegetable topping, bread, cheese and sauce... therefore only 1 star. This can be quite dangerous, especially for people with allergies, if you notice it too late.

First of all: I have been a customer of this branch for many years and have enjoyed eating there regularly. That's probably over now... Ordered two subs on March 10th (evening) (Italian BMT & Philly Beef). Recently, there is no longer any communication with the (previously always friendly) employees in this branch - orders are now placed via touchscreen kiosks (known from Mcdonald's & Co). In addition, a new wooden plate has been installed between the customer and the operator, with the result that you can no longer see what and how much is being used. Anyway, I took the packed subs home (2 minute walk) and to my surprise I discovered when I unpacked them: the previously well-filled subs are both an absolute joke. Unfortunately not a good one - the ingredients were more than sparse and the taste was far from what we were used to. Well, it was enough and I didn't worry about it any further... ...until the following morning, despite getting enough sleep, I not only woke up extremely exhausted, but also with a headache, a slight fever and nausea. When I had to throw up around 4:30 p.m. after a day of suffering and feeling bad, it was completely clear: this restaurant will never see me again! It should be said that I haven't had to vomit in >10 years and I really have anything but a sensitive stomach! I enjoyed being a customer in this branch for many years, but not only has the quantity apparently changed, but also the quality. Buy food there? Never again.

Recently you have to order at the upselling order terminal. Not only does this take forever and doesn't work properly because the touchscreens respond slowly or poorly, but it also makes the entire ordering process much more impersonal and unpleasant. I tried both delivery via Uber Eats and in-person pickup. Both options are great! The delivery was quick and uncomplicated, and picking it up feels like a little break. Sent a friend to pick up. Ordered a Philly Supreme ... Got something that was not even close. There were cucumbers that were not mentioned and I can't eat them. Plus tons of other veggies not mentioned in the receipt. There was no slice of cheese and the mozzarella was not melted. Worst sandwich ever. Barely eatable.

I was there twice within a short period of time a few weeks ago because I work nearby. On the first visit, after I wanted some fried onions on my sandwich, the employee mumbled "just put more on it." As an individual case, I wouldn't really care at all, but after I was there again after a few days and had to wait in line for half an hour because the two service ladies were too incompetent to deal with 2 customers and a Wolt driver because they didn't pick up the order properly. When ordering and paying, I showed my voucher for which I was actually supposed to pay half a sub and would have gotten a whole one. Yes, who would have thought that the service staff was also incompetent and made me pay the full price. I then had the invoice given to me and did the math myself and found that I had paid a little over €5 too much. Then I had to charge the lady at the checkout 3 times why it didn't work and after she figured it out I was told that they don't have a key for the checkout but now I can get half a sub again. So my number 1 get 2 voucher became a pay 2 get 3 voucher. Math wasn't necessarily my best subject at school, but I don't think that's such a great deal for me. It was definitely the last time you saw me in that subway.

Staff had no idea, you have to explain your own voucher to them. In the end, they couldn't even undo their own obvious mistake. Apparently there is no one there who has permission. After a misunderstanding regarding the EM2024 campaign and the associated coupons, Subway tried to clarify the situation within a very short time. Definitely a thumbs up for this. Otherwise, the branch is very clean and pleasant after the recent renovation. The quality of the food is also top! The service is fast and friendly, there is still a little room for improvement, but it is absolutely within the scope of what you can expect from system catering. You should try out the new sub-variants of the Signature Series. Only the new price structure (sometimes 13 to 15 € for a footlong) is slowly reaching sit-down restaurant levels. Overall, a recommended address.

The employee vehemently and not particularly friendly claims that half a sandwich (15 cm) only contains half a veggie patty (i.e., 7.5 cm). This is either an unacceptable cost-cutting measure by the location or inadequate training. Addendum to the operator's response: No, the location is correct—the purchase was made a few days ago.

I am writing this review as someone who has worked in fast food and also as someone who has ordered from other Subways. However, this one disappointed me greatly in terms of both the cleanliness of the premises and the service received. The employees were not at all friendly during my visit on Friday evening, July 11th. I don't think they even greeted us when we came in. The first one was not at all focused and was throwing ingredients haphazardly into my sub while continuing to talk to her colleague as if we weren't there. When I asked her nicely if she could redo my sub before getting too far into the process, she started to justify herself instead of simply admitting that nothing in the presentation was appropriate so far. I asked my partner's opinion and to look at what my submarine looked like when it came out of the oven to be sure that I hadn't exaggerated and he told me that indeed, it was complete nonsense and bad advertising on their part. We actually preferred to go have dinner elsewhere that evening. I worked in customer service for a long time and this kind of behavior seems completely inappropriate to me, especially since I know that I demonstrated good faith on my part.

Certainly not the largest or most modern Subway in Munich, but I've been going here with my son for a long time and I really enjoy it because of Mario. If you're lucky enough to have Mario make your sandwich, he's always polite and friendly, and he's there with his heart and soul. He's patient with my son (6) until he's picked out everything, even when the line is long, and he always has a smile. That's why, for me, it's the best Subway there is—as long as Mario's around. 🤗
