Subway in Freiburg im Breisgau

There was no bread because the oven was broken or something. Ok, that can happen. Instead there were wraps. Brought wrap to take away. The thing was open from both sides, everything that was inside was now smeared on the paper. Potatoes rock hard. Maybe it's been in the oven too long? You don't know. Wasted over €10 and left hungry. I don't come here anymore.

Sandwiches are edible....Corona probably doesn't exist at Subway....Masks of the employees who prepare the sandwiches are at half-mast, no care is taken to ensure that the customers keep their distance...The store looks dingy. Update: a sandwich shop that doesn't have bread...hard to believe...today they only had wraps...and unfortunately they didn't taste good...

The food itself is good. I just think it's very expensive for what you get. Still good for eating if you need something quick to eat.

Ordered 2 subs online in the app as dinner (pickup around 9 p.m.), as you can see in the picture, I didn't get what was ordered. Even the bread wasn't right... Was unfriendly on the phone afterwards, not solution-oriented or constructive… I would prefer to give 0 stars for the service, the quality of the food wasn't any better...

Unfortunately it is by far the worst subway in the area. Cleanliness is a foreign word here, regardless of the time of day. (Been there at different times) This is only exceeded every time by the unfriendliness of the employees. I've never experienced anything like this in a subway. Sun-dried tomatoes, which I requested (for an additional charge), had exactly three small pieces on the 30cm sub. In fact, all the ingredients are saved too much here. (4 small slices of jalapenos, no more than 10 corn kernels and 2 mini strips of pepper) Apart from that, there isn't even a customer toilet, although food and drink can be consumed here.

I actually love Subway's food, but I have to say the quality has deteriorated extremely. The subs are topped so sparingly that when you eat them you wonder whether they actually have what you wanted on them. And people constantly mention the guaqamole, but don't point out that it costs extra. The staff is also not really friendly and very brisk. It was definitely my last time for a while.

Ordering went well and quickly. Food tastes good. But during the payment process the employee told me that I couldn't use my app. According to the Subway app, the Subway was suggested to me. So I could have collected points and saved 30% at the same time. What went wrong?

The most sketchy thing in this restaurant is the cashier did not issue the bill when I paid by Cash. After receiving the change and the breads and ready to leave, I asked for the receipt, only then he typed on the monitor the whole order again and the cashbox opened. He told me they do not accept the offers in the app even though it is listed as „participated restaurant“ on the website. These breads were the thinnest, flattest and driest breads i ever bought from Subway. There were barely any sauce even though I ordered Yoghurt and BBQ sauce. Probably need a microscope to search for the Teriyaki chicken. Usually I would be full with 15cm sub but you can look at the picture, they are stingy even with vegetables…i was still hungry after a teriyaki footlong

Very unfriendly staff and for a sub of €14.99 it didn't taste good. That was my last time.

Incredibly haphazard - the wrong thing was always added to a single order and in the end the billing was incorrect. Also very little toppings.

Dirtiest and most expensive subway I've ever been in.

I was very happy with the food 👍it was fresh and tasty. I also received nice service that I was pleasantly surprised by. Unfortunately I can't remember his name correctly anymore... (starting with M..) was written on the name tag. Very nice staff and didn't skimp on the ingredients either. I also found the atmosphere quite good and especially the location near the train station. Some of the staff members do not add vegetables properly. They leave out spaces and the wrap is somewhat empty. Sometimes they don’t even wrap the sandwich properly and it all just so messy when you ask for a takeout.

The Subway Foodlong was very tasty and fresh. An employee made the subway for me and he was very nice, friendly and funny. The name on the sign was Manto. Manto is highly recommended, thank you very much 😃.

Very disappointed with the service

Very unfriendly staff. Hardly anyone notices you. Had a coupon, the woman said it was only available when ordering. But the conditions of participation say something different! But if she's not interested, she doesn't answer questions. Complete staff must be replaced.

Vouchers are rejected even though participation is confirmed, please report everyone to subway Germany. Unfortunately it's a rip off!!!

Staff not very friendly. Sauces on the sub not as desired. Voucher was rejected despite participation according to the app. So paid twice as much

I very rarely give 1 star, but the barrel is full. There is always a fuss because of the offers that Subway advertises to its customers. According to the website, the Subway at Freiburg Central Station often takes part in attractive offers, such as in today's case the LidlPlus partnership offer. As soon as you order, it's like, "No, this restaurant is not participating." Even after you show the employees in black and white that they are participating, they call their tyrannical boss (that's how I imagine him) and he finishes it the conversations strictly with “No, not us.” The employees are very nice. The food is clearly delicious. But the store is not run properly and the customers are being ripped off!

So if 0 stars were possible I would also give 0, really just unfriendly, zero customer focus and simply unhygienic handling in the kitchen

The unfriendly staff I have ever experienced. No greeting, no thank you or please, and they barely understand German. It's a shame that it's the only subway in the area, otherwise I would never enter the store again. Action has to be taken

Warning: big scam. I was charged for five sandwiches even though I only ordered four. Additionally, unrequested surcharges were added to my bill. Disappointment with the accuracy of billing.

Neither the sub is hygienic nor the tables are. There were fleas around the tables. Pathetic service.

Seating outside is more pleasant.

Staff overcharged both the previous customer and me. The customer in front of me complained after paying, but the employee couldn't do anything... I've been to much better subways. At least they have a solid selection

It's been a long time since I ordered food from Subway. Gluten free sub arrived almost frozen (you REALLY have to defrost them before you top them!!!!). Meat tasted very strange and parts of the order were missing. Afterwards I had an inflammation of the stomach lining, couldn't eat or drink anything for 2 weeks and was in the emergency room several times.

VIOLENT. An hour and a half after I ate the sandwich I ordered, my painful stomach prepared me for the next few hours of jet-like vomiting. Still weak after two days. The gases that escaped in the other direction due to the rest of the digestion made it even easier for me to vomit. Thanks subway, started poorly but steadily maintained the standard. A display and inspection of food processing would probably be appropriate here.

Very stingy when it comes to topping the sandwich, hardly any salad etc. Extremely bad. The owner is a miser, not comparable to his predecessor. Regular customers are treated like dirt, no extras or a thank you

So, the shop was completely crumbled and I think the tables haven't seen a rag in a long time! We wanted a vegan sup and the cashier couldn't manage to use the right sauce... In general, the service was very sloppy and it took longer than any other subway... and that's called FASTFOOD! The cookies were simply placed on the greasy sub. So I can't recommend it... Ordered 3 subs from Lieferando, 2x30cm and 1x15cm. Unfortunately, the topping was swapped from a 30 cm sub to a 15 cm sub, and there were also wrong ingredients on the 15 cm sub. Unfortunately, I'm now only half full and have paid twice. It's not the first time something like this has happened. It can't be that difficult to put the right toppings on sandwiches.

Staff funny & friendly, food was fine: bread wasn't in the oven for a short time & unfortunately the cucumbers were lying around a little longer. The selection is quite limited (2 out of 4 types of cookies, for example). Location for the train station is great :)

Hygienic standards are poor. The office should take a look here!!! The baking tray is made of metal and was frayed and rusty, there is dirt in the cheese, the staff hardly speaks German. The double vegan cookie was hard and safe from the day before! I am very disappointed! Very bad!!!!

The chicken teriyaki sub tastes very good, unfortunately even 30cm doesn't fill you up. Since the whole thing already costs 9.99 euros, you'll lose your appetite if you add something else to fill you up. If you're lucky, the staff is nice, but unfortunately the rule is rather unfriendly and impatient. Do you hesitate after asking “sauce?” even for just one second, within the next 10 seconds the question “Sauce?” will be heard. at least twice more. In the past, you sometimes got a cookie as a gift, which was a really nice gesture and made the price acceptable, but that's been history for a little over a year and I've never experienced it again. A pity. Well, I'll still come back because there's really nothing wrong with the taste and I'm hoping for some improvement!

The best subway I have ever been in Germany.

By far the dirtiest subway I've been to in my entire life! I would prefer not to even give this one star. There was nothing to do and yet it was so utterly disgusting! The employee dropped my cookie on the counter and packed it up quickly like I didn't see it, disgusting!! In addition, he didn't enter the money into the cash register and account for it properly, there was no change, it was definitely pocketed. Never again!!!! The food tasted completely different than usual at Subway.

Unfortunately, pickup ordered by Subway at short notice was canceled several times. The food is cold and some things were missing or people forgot that they wanted it toasted. Service was okay but not super friendly.

As a regular customer of Subway in the Netherlands and familiar with well-filled sandwiches, I ended up here today after a long journey with final destination Freiburg. The employees behind the counter were busy with each other (making jokes, etc.) so it took a long time before I could order. The employee had helped another customer while making my sandwich. Due to hygiene and religious beliefs, I kindly asked if he would change his gloves before continuing with my sandwich. The gentleman became visibly angry, spoke in a disrespectful tone during the order and put a random sauce that I had not asked for on the sandwich. Other customers also noticed this and reacted as shocked as I did. Unbelievable. Unfortunately a bad first experience in Freiburg + Subway.

In reply to Subway´s response. I´m not going to argue your prices. I know what the board said. I also very clearly heard what your staff said. There was no misunderstanding. If the problem is the price, your staff would have told me that. You charged me extra as stated by your staff. Nice how you completely ignored, as with the original review about it, how your staff treated a disabled person the first time I was here last year. ____________________________ I ordered a furious chicken footlong. The menu price is 11,99 Euro. I was charged 14,99 Euro. When I asked, the first story was they charge extra for the toppings (tomatoes, onions, etc). When I commented no Subway in the world has ever charged me for that - and Subway advertises them as free - they changed the story to say they charge extra for cutting the sandwich. Every Subway I've ever been in cuts the sandwich! There's no sign about this. I didn't request they cut the sandwich. I didn't order anything extra. Ridiculous!!! I stopped here once before more than a year ago. Even though they discriminated against me due to disability, I decided to give them another chance. Big mistake! They will not get a 3rd chance.

They are so stingy also the onion was so bad cut from the day before as well as the sandwich was so dry never try this restaurant again

Einfach nur unhygienisch ohne Ende, deutsch versteht auch keiner Handy wurde mit Handschuhen bedient und danach mit den selben Handschuhen weiter bedient !!!

Ein Echt Miserabler Laden. Habe den Falschen Sub bekommen, worauf die mitarbeiterin anfing das zeug vom Sub runter zu kratzen was ich nicht bestellt hatte,statt einen neuen zu machen. Schien ihren Kollegen zu amüsieren und die beiden lachten darüber. Insgesamt sehr schmudliger Eindruck und lustlose arrogante Mitarbeiter. Ich empfehle den subway nicht nur nicht weiter... Sondern rate auch aktiv allen in meinem Umfeld von einen Besuch ab.

Nehmt die Bewertungen ernst! Haare im Essen, es wird das falsche geliefert, es wird normaler Käse aufs Sub gemacht bei einem Veganen, was somit zur Folge von einem Biss schon Bauschmerzen verursacht hat und der Sub für die Tonne war.

Der Subway war ganz gut, das Essen wie immer sehr lecker aber die Bedienung war nicht das gelbe vom Ei und das Ambiente auch nicht sehr groß dafür das hunderte Menschen am Tag dort hingehen

Essen bestellt nach ca 2 Stunden warte Zeit bekommt man das falsche geliefert. Sehr schlechter Service… nie wieder…. Nicht empfehlenswert….

The best subway with amazing friendly service

Mega liebe Verkäuferin und lecker wie immer!

Got two subs. Both were extremely dry. Tasted like 90% dry bread. Couldn't even taste the 3 tiny triangles of cheese. Way too expensive for the quality you get. They use the same gloves/knives that have touched meat even for the vegan products.

Essen ist ok, Brot ist sehr trocken und Volkorn hatten die gar nicht da. Bieten einem Kostenpflichtige Zusätze an ohne darauf hinzuweisen und sagen erst an der Kasse, dass Wertbons einen Mindestbestellwert von 5€ haben, obwohl 2,50€ drauf steht. Echt mieser Service :-(

Die 3 Sterne sprechen für sich.. Das Essen ist so lala, Gemüse geschmacklos und die Brötchen waren auch nicht wirklich frisch, einer der schlechtesten Subways in Baden-Württemberg. Sehr sehr schade.

Delicious Food, clean environment, nice staff. Was there the other day and the staff were so nice to me, they've filled my sub neatly and we were having a conversation in the meantime.

Mitarbeiter extrem nett, sorgen für saubere Umgebung, sauberes und leckeres Essen und Zufriedenheit der Kunden. Ein mitarbeiter namens Mundo hat mir meine Subs gemacht. Er war richtig nett und gut drauf. Er hatte sehr viel Freude und Spaß während er die Subs gemacht hat und hat mit mir währenddessen ein Small Talk gemacht. Sehr empfehlenswert dieser Subway.

Essen online bestellt, und da die lieferando homepage beim 30cm sub nicht alle Gemüsesorten anbietet, musste ich meinen Gemüsewunsch in die Anmerkung dazuschreiben. Das Essen kam dann komplett ohne Gemüse.

Über das Essen braucht man nichts sagen, das ist immer super Lecker! 5 von 5 Sternen! Der Service ist abhängig vom Personal, meistens sind viele junge Aushilfen da, denen man das Arbeiten wohl erst noch beibringen muss und leider sind die dann vor lauter Stress auch recht unhöflich... Das (neue)Stammpersonal ist aber fix und ausgesprochen höflich. Daher haben man die älteren Rezessionen zu diesem Thema beruhigt ignorieren. 4 von 5 Sternen. Der wirklich einzig negative Punkt ist leider das Ambiente. Aber eben ein Fastfood-Laden im Bahnhof und kein Sternelokal. Dass Kunden, die im Laden verzehren ihren Müll auf den Tischen liegen lassen, statt in die Behälter zu werfen, dafür kann das Personal nix. Aber trotzdem könnte man zwischendurch auch mal die Tische abwischen... 3 von 5 Sternen. Insgesamt gebe ich dem Restaurant in der Summe 4 von 5 Sternen!

Fangen wir mit dem guten an. Die Sauberkeit ist top. Aber. Das Personal ist unterirdisch. Falsche Belegung, kaum deutsch sprechend. Das geht gar nicht

Ich war hier oft und auch immer zufrieden, aber heute war ich sehr enttäuscht! Es wurde so heftig mit den Zutaten gegeizt, nur bisschen Fleisch und nur 5 mais Stücke, dann noch 2 dünne gurken Scheiben und dafür 9 Euro. Sonst ist der sub sehr gut gefüllt mit Inhalt, aber heute brutal mager. Schade. (Das Foto ist älter, als alles noch gut war)

Super freundliches Personal und eine tolle Stimmung. Es lief Musik und ich habe mich nett mit den Mitarbeiter*innen unterhalten . Sehr empfehlenswert

Mülltrennung geht wohl gut voran. Auch teilweise klebende Kaugummis an den Pappschalen und fragwürdig genervtes Personal.

Seit heute neue Betreiber: endlich wieder ein guter Subway in Freiburg! 4 Mitarbeiter hinter der Theke. Bestellung lief zügig und das Personal war freundlich.

It was pretty late in the evening. No one else was there..i picked up the sandwich. The guy who made my sandwich spoke decent English, friendly, and in good spirits overall. Had the spicy veggie pattie. Tasty sandwich overall.. Would go back again if needed..i doubt it though..just passing by the area.

Geschmacklich gut aber ich empfehle die Speisen nur mitzunehmen. Die Tische waren leider alle schmutzig, voll mit Verpackungen und Essensresten. Ich verstehe wenn mal ein Tisch wegen Zeitdruck nicht geschafft wurde sauber zu machen aber es waren alle dreckig und es sah nicht so aus als ob vor kurzem geputzt worden wäre.

Die Getränke waren völlig geschmacklos und die Räumlichkeiten ziemlich dreckig, das Sandwich war ein totaler Fehlschlag.

Unhygienischer geht es kaum !!! Die selben Handschuhe werden zur Müllentsorgung und zur Zubereitung der Subs verwendet. Die Zutaten sind alles andere als frisch. Fliegen kreisen um die Zutaten, überall liegen Krümel und Dreck. Die Mitarbeiter tragen keinen Mundschutz, sehen sehr ungepflegt aus und sind sehr unfreundlich. Normalerweise sollte man den WKD informieren was hier abgeht. Ich habe meine Bestellung abgebrochen und werde nie wieder einen Fuß in diesen Laden setzten.

Das war ja Mal nichts heute. Hier gibt es weder das Sub mit Ei, keinen Kaffee und Cokkie zum Menü auch nicht. Die Bedienung versteht nichts. Sehr enttäuschend.
