This place is an absolute joke when it comes to service. I drove all the way there specifically for a promotion on a sub of my choice, but when I arrived, they told me (despite the voucher clearly stating otherwise) that it only applied to the sub of the day. Which I couldn't order due to allergies! It's embarrassing when large corporations can't even manage their promotions properly, especially at the expense of consumers.

I wanted to redeem my Telekom voucher, so I went there specifically for that purpose. When I was paying, the unfriendly guy at the cash register said no, his cash register couldn't accept vouchers. It seemed to me he just didn't feel like setting anything up in his register. Furthermore, if someone is already wearing gloves while making sandwiches, but then takes cash from every customer while wearing those gloves and then continues making sandwiches, I wonder if the hygiene in this store is up to scratch. I don't think so. Maybe the WKD (Food and Drug Administration) should take a look!

I was there today and wanted to redeem my Telekom voucher for a free half-sub. I specifically checked beforehand whether the branch was participating in the promotion. Telekom said yes, but the employee at the store said no. Then I unexpectedly had to pay for my order, which was really annoying, as I went there specifically for the promotion. The service was friendly, but the situation was very unpleasant and annoying.

Enough is enough. I'm filing complaints with human rights commission and subway corporate. This is my 3rd time here in 4 years. Every time, including today, was a mistake. Bad food, bad bread, discriminate against disabled. Dozens of reviews re their staff ripping off customers, and I get called a liar when staff ripped me off (2nd visit, not today). Specific to today: - I'm disabled. I asked staff to take my order so I could sit, as I can't stand in lines. Staff told me to sit and they would come to me. I waited a long time, during which 8 more people came in and were waited on immediately. The staff did not forget me, I was sitting right next to the person, who looked at me several times. I finally walked back up and asked if they were ever going to take my order, which finally the lady did. She also immediately made my sandwich (thank you for that at least). - The bread was dry and somewhat stale. - The tables inside and outside were dirty. - I paid nearly 14€ for a footlong philly cheese sub melt, then went to McDonalds because I was still hungry.

I've been to many Subways, but never have I been so dissatisfied with customers as I am here. No hello, glares upon entering, and employees on their phones at every opportunity. The food tastes as usual at Subway. The portions are basically the same every time. Prices are getting more and more expensive, and the place actually looks pretty decent. The only thing dragging this place down is the employees. It's a shame the only Subway is in Freiburg.

I was there at 8:00 PM and they didn't even have half their toppings left and didn't want to refill them. After having to think about it for a bit with the very small selection they had, the woman got impatient (even though there was no one behind me), and I was forced to take something I might not have wanted in the end. The man at the cash register was still relatively nice, but the price that was displayed and charged to me wasn't exactly the same, but it was okay. Otherwise, a relatively small store, but what can you expect at a main train station? Otherwise, it looked like any other Subway, just without the self-service kiosks.

I don’t usually leave bad reviews but this time I had to.. I was told by the lady that the chicken is veeery spicy which I wanted but sadly it was sweet teriyaki chicken.. Then they threw 5 nasty sloppy chips in a box and called it waffle fries.. I politely asked the cashier that I couldn’t accept that and asked for a cookie or something else instead. She said “I can’t do that for you, I’ll just reheat your fries”. I’m like “reheat what?” Asked her to keep them cause I was quite upset. She did reheat and bring them to my table. It’s a joke. Never again. Just go to McDonalds.

For example, after corn was accidentally put in my sub, it was removed by hand and put on my wife's sub. I could count 3 tomato slices on my sub, which represents the entire topping. Very disappointing experience - zero customer friendliness Yesterday at 7:55 p.m. I was in the Subway branch in Freiburg (Bismarckallee 7D) and wanted to redeem an official Subway coupon that was actively advertised. According to the Subway website and restaurant locator, this location is participating in the promotion. However, my coupon was rejected again - for the fifth time in this branch! The employee on site refused to accept it on the grounds that the boss had instructed it that way. When I showed that this branch was participating according to the official Subway website, it continued to refer to an internal decision. This lack of transparency and false advertising are unacceptable! I used to enjoy being a customer at Subway, but experiences like this make me feel like I'm not being taken seriously as a customer. It cannot be the case that offers are advertised that cannot then be redeemed on site. This is simply misleading and annoying. Instead of my planned order, I only bought three cookies - but those were definitely my last ones at Subway. It's a shame how customer friendliness has developed here. ★☆☆☆☆ (1 star)

It is unfortunate that the employees have insufficient knowledge of German, which has repeatedly led to incorrect orders. The additional charge for more salad, contrary to Subway's guarantee of unlimited salad, was unexpected and irritating. The small amount of salad in the original order was not satisfactory. Since the entire order was incorrect, it was not purchased. Although this is the only Subway location in Freiburg, looking for an alternative is recommended.

Unfortunately one of the worst subways I've come across. The sub was left in when consumed on site and the toast oven was not finished toasting due to many people ordering. There was far too little lettuce on the sub. Pluxee vouchers may be accepted, but only if the store is not that busy. So not in my case. It is not possible to pay with Subcard, but you can collect points. The promotions that Subway gives via its card (in my case Free Upgrade Menu) are billed for but not carried out. For security reasons, an invoice will not be issued. I can't recommend it... unfortunately, although I enjoy eating at Subway.

Unfortunately it is by far the worst subway in the area. Cleanliness is a foreign word here, regardless of the time of day. (Been there at different times) This is only exceeded every time by the unfriendliness of the employees. I've never experienced anything like this in a subway. Sun-dried tomatoes, which I requested (for an additional charge), had exactly three small pieces on the 30cm sub. In fact, all the ingredients are saved too much here. (4 small slices of jalapenos, no more than 10 corn kernels and 2 mini strips of pepper) Apart from that, there isn't even a customer toilet, although food and drink can be consumed here.

The subs are topped so sparingly that when you eat them you wonder whether they actually have what you wanted on them. And people constantly mention the guaqamole, but don't point out that it costs extra. The staff is also not really friendly and very brisk. It was definitely my last time for a while.

The most sketchy thing in this restaurant is the cashier did not issue the bill when I paid by Cash. After receiving the change and the breads and ready to leave, I asked for the receipt, only then he typed on the monitor the whole order again and the cashbox opened. He told me they do not accept the offers in the app even though it is listed as „participated restaurant“ on the website. These breads were the thinnest, flattest and driest breads i ever bought from Subway. There were barely any sauce even though I ordered Yoghurt and BBQ sauce. Probably need a microscope to search for the Teriyaki chicken. Usually I would be full with 15cm sub but you can look at the picture, they are stingy even with vegetables…i was still hungry after a teriyaki footlong

“I recently visited this Subway location when it was not busy, being the only customer at the time. I very rarely give 1 star, but the barrel is full. There is always a fuss because of the offers that Subway advertises to its customers. According to the website, the Subway at Freiburg Central Station often takes part in attractive offers, such as in today's case the LidlPlus partnership offer. As soon as you order, it's like, "No, this restaurant is not participating." Even after you show the employees in black and white that they are participating, they call their tyrannical boss (that's how I imagine him) and he finishes it the conversations strictly with “No, not us.” The employees are very nice. The food is clearly delicious. But the store is not run properly and the customers are being ripped off!

It's been a long time since I ordered food from Subway. Gluten free sub arrived almost frozen (you REALLY have to defrost them before you top them!!!!). VIOLENT. An hour and a half after I ate the sandwich I ordered, my painful stomach prepared me for the next few hours of jet-like vomiting. Still weak after two days. The gases that escaped in the other direction due to the rest of the digestion made it even easier for me to vomit. Thanks subway, started poorly but steadily maintained the standard. A display and inspection of food processing would probably be appropriate here.

Ordered 3 subs from Lieferando, 2x30cm and 1x15cm. Unfortunately, the topping was swapped from a 30 cm sub to a 15 cm sub, and there were also wrong ingredients on the 15 cm sub. Unfortunately, I'm now only half full and have paid twice. It's not the first time something like this has happened. It can't be that difficult to put the right toppings on sandwiches.

So, the shop was completely crumbled and I think the tables haven't seen a rag in a long time! We wanted a vegan sup and the cashier couldn't manage to use the right sauce... In general, the service was very sloppy and it took longer than any other subway... and that's called FASTFOOD! The cookies were simply placed on the greasy sub. So I can't recommend it... Staff funny & friendly, food was fine: bread wasn't in the oven for a short time & unfortunately the cucumbers were lying around a little longer. The selection is quite limited (2 out of 4 types of cookies, for example). Location for the train station is great :)

Hygienic standards are poor. The office should take a look here!!! The baking tray is made of metal and was frayed and rusty, there is dirt in the cheese, the staff hardly speaks German. The double vegan cookie was hard and safe from the day before! I am very disappointed! Very bad!!!!

The chicken teriyaki sub tastes very good, unfortunately even 30cm doesn't fill you up. Since the whole thing already costs 9.99 euros, you'll lose your appetite if you add something else to fill you up. If you're lucky, the staff is nice, but unfortunately the rule is rather unfriendly and impatient. Do you hesitate after asking “sauce?” even for just one second, within the next 10 seconds the question “Sauce?” will be heard. at least twice more. In the past, you sometimes got a cookie as a gift, which was a really nice gesture and made the price acceptable, but that's been history for a little over a year and I've never experienced it again. A pity. Well, I'll still come back because there's really nothing wrong with the taste and I'm hoping for some improvement!

By far the dirtiest subway I've been to in my entire life! I would prefer not to even give this one star. There was nothing to do and yet it was so utterly disgusting! The employee dropped my cookie on the counter and packed it up quickly like I didn't see it, disgusting!! In addition, he didn't enter the money into the cash register and account for it properly, there was no change, it was definitely pocketed. Never again!!!! The food tasted completely different than usual at Subway.

As a regular customer of Subway in the Netherlands and familiar with well-filled sandwiches, I ended up here today after a long journey with final destination Freiburg. The employees behind the counter were busy with each other (making jokes, etc.) so it took a long time before I could order. The employee had helped another customer while making my sandwich. Due to hygiene and religious beliefs, I kindly asked if he would change his gloves before continuing with my sandwich. The gentleman became visibly angry, spoke in a disrespectful tone during the order and put a random sauce that I had not asked for on the sandwich. Other customers also noticed this and reacted as shocked as I did. Unbelievable. Unfortunately a bad first experience in Freiburg + Subway.

Unfortunately, pickup ordered by Subway at short notice was canceled several times. The food is cold and some things were missing or people forgot that they wanted it toasted. Service was okay but not super friendly.

In reply to Subway´s response. I´m not going to argue your prices. I know what the board said. I also very clearly heard what your staff said. There was no misunderstanding. If the problem is the price, your staff would have told me that. You charged me extra as stated by your staff. Nice how you completely ignored, as with the original review about it, how your staff treated a disabled person the first time I was here last year. ____________________________ I ordered a furious chicken footlong. The menu price is 11,99 Euro. I was charged 14,99 Euro. When I asked, the first story was they charge extra for the toppings (tomatoes, onions, etc). When I commented no Subway in the world has ever charged me for that - and Subway advertises them as free - they changed the story to say they charge extra for cutting the sandwich. Every Subway I've ever been in cuts the sandwich! There's no sign about this. I didn't request they cut the sandwich. I didn't order anything extra. Ridiculous!!! I stopped here once before more than a year ago. Even though they discriminated against me due to disability, I decided to give them another chance. Big mistake! They will not get a 3rd chance.

Geworben wird, dass es die besten Burger in town gibt aber wir waren alle nicht sonderlich begeistert. Mein Burger war viel zu trocken. Die Portionen sind groß und Preis-Leistung auch in Ordnung aber nochmal würden wir nicht kommen. Das besondere hat einfach gefehlt.

I don't agree with the mixed reviews, the food is simple but effective and tasty if you order the dish of the day. The dishes are generous as are the flammenkuche. And in terms of service, the young man who looked after us was pleasant, smiling and quick.
