Das Essen war sehr lecker. Ambiente ist schwer zu beurteilen, weil wir draußen saßen. Die Bedienung war wirklich außerordentlich freundlich. Es gibt eine große Auswahl an Bier Sorten, viel vom Fass. Wenn man drinnen sitzen möchte oder mit vielen Personen kommt unbedingt reservieren, weil es abends schnell voll wird

In einer Studenten- und Touristenstadt mitten am Marktplatz im Hochsommer an einem Samstag Mitte Juli um 20:30 Uhr Küchenschluss. In Swinemünde geht es um die Zeit erst los. Traurig.

Leider war der Burger nicht den Preis wert. Für den Preis könnten die Pommes mit dabei sein. Diese haben 6€ extra gekostet. Kamen auch leider nur nach einer Erinnerung nachgeliefert. Und dann weder Ketchup oder Mayo dabei. Das musste ich nochmals nachfragen. Und, für regionales Bier muß man auch nicht über 6 € verlangen. Schade, aber das war nix.

Eine schöne Getränke Auswahl. Speiseauswahl war ok. Ein oder zwei Geflügel Gerichte auf der Karte wären schön. Das Essen war gut. Das Ambiente schön nur war es etwas laut zum unterhalten. Der Service war sehr aufmerksam und gut.

Wir haben als Familie dort spontan gegessen. Das Restaurant war relativ leer. Eine freundliche Bedienung hat uns sofort einen Tisch zugewiesen. Auch die Bestellung ging zügig. Die eigentliche Überraschung folgte, als wir unser Essen bekamen. Angesichts der in der Region inzwischen insgesamt hohen Preise für Essen in der Gastronomie erwarteten wir zumindest preisadäquate Portionen. Die Seniorenportion für 18,50 € mit nicht einmal einer Handvoll Bratkartoffeln, einem Klecks Sauce und einem Stück Fisch von 5 × 5 cm Größe ist in keiner Weise dem hohen Preis entsprechend. Auf keinem unserer Gerichte von 20,00-30,00 € Preisniveau befand sich auch nur ein Ansatz einer Salatbeilage oder Ähnliches. Die Frage, ob es sich bei den Ochsenbäckchen um Convenience food handelt, stellte sich zudem auch. Wir werden dort nicht mehr essen. Die freundliche und professionelle Bedienung ist dennoch hervorzuheben.

Mit 14 Leuten spontan essen zu gehen, ist kaum denkbar. Wir versuchten es im Störtebeker Braugasthaus, einen Tisch für 14 Personen zu ordern. Tatsächlich schaffte es die Kellnerin Sara, uns innerhalb einer Stunde einen Tisch für uns, sogar separat, bereitzustellen. Wir nutzten die Zeit über den Greifswalder Töpfermarkt zu schlendern. Ein großes Lob geht an die Küche, alle Gerichte waren köstlich, wurden gleichzeitig serviert und waren heiß. Danke. Das absolute i-Tüpfelchen war die Kellnerin Sara. Schon bei der Aufnahme der Bestellungen spürten wir ihren Humor. Sara ist umsichtig und geschäftstüchtig. Sie äußerte sich witzig und originell, gespickt mit Herzlichkeit. Mit ihrer lockeren Art hat sie uns die Zeit im Restaurant zu einem echten Erlebnis gemacht. Wir haben selten soviel in einer Gaststätte gelacht. Danke von der ehemaligen 2efa 76.

Bei einem Brauhaus hat man klare Erwartungen: eine gute Auswahl an Bieren, einfaches aber gutes Essen und eine gewisse Gemütlichkeit. All das wird auch hier gut umgesetzt. Die Auswahl an Bieren ist sehr gut, da ist für jeden etwas dabei. Aber auch die anderen Getränke sind ausreichend in mit guter Auswahl vorhanden. Das Essen ist einfach und schmeckt lecker - ein Goumettempel ist das Brauhaus aber nicht, aber das war ja auch nicht die Erwartung. Der Service ist schnell und freundlich und man sowohl innen als auch außen gut sitzen und eine gute Zeit haben. Was will man mehr? Hier kann man nichts falsch machen - zumal die Preise auch fair sind. Gut gemeinte Empfehlung.

Waren am Ostermontag mit drei Personen am Abend zum Essen. Haben uns alle für Schnitzel entschieden, jedoch drei unterschiedliche Beilagen bestellt. Es gab wenig Luft nach oben. Wir waren sowohl mit dem Essen, als auch den dazu konsumierten Bieren sehr zufrieden. Der Service war unschlagbar! Wir kommen wieder! Danke

Haare im Essen gehabt. Keine Entschuldigung, kein neu machen, entweder "iss oder pech".

Erstes Haus am Platz, aber (vermutlich) wegen Reichtums überwiegend geschlossen. Peinlich für Greifswald, so einen Betreiber zu haben. Die überteuerten Preise müssen daher auch die Schließzeiten ausgleichen. An diese wird sich peinlichst gehalten. Man wird nicht etwa, wie es sonst in Braugasthäusern üblich ist, zur Sperrstunde gefragt, ob man noch etwas will, sondern bereits um 21.25 Uhr (mehr als eine halbe Stunde vor Schluss) wird gesagt, "letzte Runde", damit die Gäste bitte ja nicht noch ein paar Minuten die Schließzeit überziehen. Auch die Essenszeiten: Um 20.30 Uhr exakt bekommt man nur noch ein Schinkenbrot (das iO wäre, jedoch ein aufgebackenes Brot mit einer überhitzten Melange an allem Möglichen ist) und das wars. Essen leider nur mittelmäßig mit großen Schwankungen. Service gemischt, von pflichtbewusst-freundlich (wobei der Herr mit den längeren Haaren auch imstande ist, direkt nach Trinkgeld zu fragen) bis abweisend-genervt von Gästen (der Schankkellner zum Beispiel, wann wird der endlich mal rausgeschmissen?). PS auf die Antwort des Wirts: Danke, dass Sie auf meine Kritik eingehen! Ich präzisiere noch meinen Punkt mit dem Trinkgeld: Es war ein Betrag von ungefähr 95 Euro, ich habe zwei Fünfziger gegeben und der Kellner fragte, ob der Rest Trinkgeld sei.

Leckere Gerichte und üppige Portionen! Das Bier war auch besonders gut und toll die seltenen Sorten auszuprobieren! Sehr empfehlenswert. Reservieren lohnt sich!

Nettes Personal, leckeres Weihnachtsessen, hat alles super geklappt. Gerne wieder.

Wir waren heute zum Weihnachtsessen im Lokal. Eine Katastrophe. Die Entenkeule war ungenießbar, trocken, zäh, labbrige Haut und viel Fett.. der Rotkohl war komplett zerkocht. Soße und Klöße waren in Ordnung. Für den Preis von 29,50€ pro Portion irrational. Die anderen Speisen der Weihnachtskarte waren nicht besser. Die Schweinemedaillons war zäh, die Goldmakrele war trocken. Für die Kinder gab es ein halbes Schnitzel, tatsächlich ein durchgeschnittenes halbes Schnitzel mit Pommes für 17,50€. Nach dem wir die Kellner auf die ungenießbare Entenkeule angesprochen hatten würde und ein scharfes Messer gereicht.. Am Ende wurden uns von 5 katastrophalen Entenkeulen 3 von der Rechnung gestrichen. Bei der Bezahlung fragt der Kellner aufmüpfig nach einem Trinkgeld. Ich weiß, das die nichts für schlechtes Essen können, nach so einen katastrophalen Auftritt ist die Frage aber schon frech. Wir haben heute 363,50€ in diesem Lokal gelassen.. bis auf die Getränke hatte man eigentlich nichts bezahlen dürfen. Übrigens ging es unseren Nachbartischen genauso. Wir wünschen dem Team trotzdem frohe Weihnachten. Und hoffen das sich etwas ändert.

Sehr gutes Restaurant mit einer tollen Speise/Getränke Auswahl. Der Service ist super freundlich und hervorragend.

Wir waren diese Woche zu Gast im Braugasthaus in Greifswald. Bereits zur Mittagszeit war das Restaurant sehr gut besucht, sodass eine Reservierung sinnvoll erscheint. Eine verkleinerte aber merklich preiswerte Speisekarte wurde zur Mittagszeit gereicht. Die sehr freundliche Servicekraft ermöglichte uns zusätzlich unsere Wünsche. Die Getränkeauswahl, insbesondere die Auswahl lokaler Biere, spricht für sich. Auch die Auswahl der Speisen war gut. Die gewählten Speisen waren frisch und lecker. Das Ambiente modern und hochwertig aber dennoch etwas uhrig, wie man sich ein Braugasthaus vorstellt. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und kommen gerne wieder. Liebe Grüße

Bedienung war in Ordnung, aber der Bakeeeper war unterirdisch. Er bekam keinen Satz raus und hat den Gästen nur pampig geantwortet

Die Mittagskarte wies nur wen7ge Gerichte auf. Die halbe Ente schmeckte gut.Der Rotkohl war nur leicht süßlich. Den erwarte ich besser.Die Portopn war gross. Die Bedienung freundlich, schnell und kompetent. Beim nächsten Greifswaldbesuch werden wir woanders essen.

We went to the murder mystery dinner on November 9th, 2025... for quite a bit of money. I'll leave the mystery itself out of it. But the food was awful. They served roast beef with onions... The appetizer was okay, but the meat for the main course was terrible—so tough. You could barely get a fork into it, and cutting it with a knife was a real struggle. And then, the kicker: when it came time to pay, they simply asked how I wanted to pay the tip. Absolutely unacceptable! Never again will we go to Störtebeker in Greifswald.

We had dinner yesterday. We ordered dumplings with meat and cabbage (the chef's variation). It was a fantastic idea. The food was excellent. Congratulations, and we'll definitely be back.

A really delicious burger, but the prices were steep (€18.90 without fries), and the fried potatoes and fries I ordered later took almost 15 minutes. Still, I'd recommend it.

A wonderful restaurant. The atmosphere is first-class. The service is friendly. A very good selection of food. The beers are always delicious, and you can also find a good schnapps. They now also offer a daily special. We would come again.

After a long day of cycling, I arrived in Greifswald today from Rügen. I wanted to have dinner and chose the Störtebeker Brauhaus (because of Rügen). And I wasn't disappointed. Even though the kitchen closed at 8:30 p.m. and the brewery closed at 10 p.m. (+/-), it was very nice. The food was delicious, the price was absolutely reasonable, and the owner (?) was very pleasant to chat with. Highly recommended if you're in Greifswald.

It changes its opening hours weekly (they're becoming increasingly restricted and complicated, requiring an entire board now), and can't even keep up with updating them on its website. It closes very early (at 10 p.m.) and, as is typical for hospitable landlords, doesn't serve the last beer at 10 p.m., but half an hour earlier. The pub is now mostly closed in the afternoon, and the staff are supposed to go home for two hours. Except for one person who's supposed to answer phone calls (instead of pouring a beer for the supposedly few guests who want it). Staffing mismanagement everywhere. This is probably why the chefs change so frequently. Totally overpriced. Staff mostly friendly, some unfriendly or even arrogant (bar staff). Unfortunately, the food quality isn't great. If you offer (overpriced) truffle fries, you should also have fresh truffles on site. The ready-made pasta seems very cheap. No allergens or additives are listed, although the latter are clearly sometimes used (when using ready-made products or additives). The restroom in the main building was closed for ages; anyone hoping it would be completely renovated to include water urinals (which smell less and drain better) is sadly disappointed. Non-guests are expected to pay for the smelly toilet instead of being referred (which would be customer-friendly) to the free restrooms in the associated Hotel Galerie.

Just like in the old days 25 years ago when "Alte Fritz" was still here. Delicious beer with a wide selection, including non-alcoholic ones, on the market square in the sun. We ate something afterwards. They serve delicious local fish specialties. Large portions overall. Good value for money. Attentive staff. Usually busy! Make a reservation. Kicked out at 10 p.m. – too bad, a few more beers would have been fine.

Today we stopped at the brewery, which, from the outside, looks very appealing. The menu was straightforward and the service very friendly. But when the food arrived, we were very disappointed. It was lukewarm and very simple. When I pointed out that it was only lukewarm, I was told to put it back under the heat lamp. The chef wandered around the restaurant looking bored. After asking if everything was fine, we said we wouldn't recommend it. The next table received the same response—zero reaction. One got the impression that they no longer needed it.

The beer tasted best, but the food felt like it had been reheated yesterday, and that's for the price. The service was very friendly. The chef was a miserable pro. We should have eaten at the market instead. I can't recommend this restaurant.

Ate a Wiener Schnitzel for €18.50. The schnitzel was good, but the food was served without any salad. That's the standard of a fast food restaurant. Is it really that difficult to fit a tiny bit of salad onto your plate? The price/performance ratio isn't quite right.

Our group ate here on two evenings. We were very dissatisfied. The food was very carelessly placed on the plates, not even a lettuce leaf to brighten up the color. The schnitzel was quite dry, without anything. On the second evening, the fish portions were very small, and the boiled potatoes tasted like they'd been reheated the day before. One dish was missing the rosemary potatoes altogether. After complaining, regular fried potatoes with rosemary were served instead, and the meal was almost finished. The extremely friendly waiter was visibly uncomfortable with all this, and we were given another coffee/espresso on the house. We were also served courteously by a different waiter on the first evening. But the most important thing is the food, and that won't bring us back to the restaurant.

We have been regular customers at this brewery inn for many years. We are extremely satisfied with the service staff. Everyone is very friendly, attentive, and dedicated. We recently stopped in just for a drink. Unfortunately, the price trend has been anything but encouraging recently. They offer a very tasty wine, but the price has now increased from €31.50 to €36. This is no longer reasonable. We know this wine outside of this restaurant at a completely different price. The purchase and sales price here are completely disproportionate. The menu is no longer worthy of a brewery inn either. What a shame....

Good beer, delicious food, friendly service, and a great atmosphere. We come here regularly for dinner.

We visited one morning with four adults and two children. There were plenty of seats available, and we were seated quickly. The selection is manageable, and everyone found something to their liking. The food is average in terms of taste and presentation. There's still plenty of room for improvement. Since meals often cost more than €20, I would expect more. The ambiance is pleasant, and the service was friendly. There's a lovely terrace in the courtyard, which I highly recommend.

Unfortunately, the brewery restaurant is getting worse and worse. No more rice pudding for the kids, no more eggplant burgers... As a vegetarian family, there's really no point going there anymore. It's a shame, because the atmosphere is really great and we've loved going there for years.

I was there with a friend for lunch today. She wanted something to eat and drink. Due to a recent gastric sleeve surgery, I'm only allowed to drink certain items and can't eat anything from the menu. The extremely nice waitress was completely understanding when she took my friend's drink and food. She even asked me if she could do me any favors. She then brought me a glass so I could drink the drink I'd brought myself. Now that's empathy at its finest! Thank you for that. 🫶

Top-notch zander fillet (and not small!), an astonishing number of 6(!) Störti varieties on tap!!!! And despite a motorcycle service with hundreds of people everywhere, excellent, attentive service! The ambiance is "normal" outside, but even nicer inside. I'd love to come back here again. THANK YOU.

We suddenly got hungry and ended up here. We had the fish soup, fish and chips, and the daily special: schnitzel + rosemary potatoes (disguised as finely shredded fried potatoes) with bacon. Everything tasted good, the soup was a bit small, the service was very friendly, and the 🚺 🚽 was okay too. 62 euros was a bit steep, but we're tourists, after all 🤷‍♀️ 😉

Portions were significantly too small for the price range. We felt like we were getting the tourist menu. The prices and dishes on the menu shown here three months ago differed significantly from the current one. The beers and the atmosphere are almost unbeatable.

We went there today for a birthday dinner and were largely disappointed. They were selling old potatoes from the day before as fried potatoes, and our criticism was met with a very apologetic reaction. The ambiance was as usual, and overall, the service was okay. We just won't be eating there again for a while.

I dont why everyone complains about the food, ours was very good. We had soljanka soup, schnitzel with fried potatoes, cold snacks platter. Everything was delicious like homemade cooking, together with sample beer platter all in all made an excellent dinner for three of us. I recommend. Service was joyful too.

The fried potatoes were good, no idea what people were complaining about. Sure it's not a fancy restaurant but it tastes like home. Beer was nice, despite me not liking beer it still tasted good. The hearty tasting plate was good. The snitchel was absolutely delicious. Service was also wonderful and kind, the waitress spoke good English. I recommend this place.

We were here with a very large group. Everything went quickly and smoothly, and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The selection of beers is huge; there should be something for every taste. Prices aren't exactly cheap, which isn't typical of other breweries in southern Germany. The quality of the food is very good, though there are still some areas where the taste and portion sizes could be improved.

I was completely impressed by the brewery inn! The food was not only delicious, but also freshly prepared – you can tell the quality is what goes into it. The fast service is particularly noteworthy: I barely ordered and the food was on the table – perfect if you're hungry. Actually, only 4.5 stars because the kitchen closes at 8:30 p.m. Everything else was top-notch. Special requests were no problem, and the service (interestingly, all male) was incredibly friendly and professional. I'd love to go back!

Great service, friendly staff, and a fantastic atmosphere. The food is delicious. I'm only deducting one star because the selection is a bit limited, but I can understand that. When the kitchen is prepared for eight dishes, they're naturally prepared to a high standard. I also have to say the beer selection actually makes up for it.

We have enjoyed coming here for many years and have always eaten well. Unfortunately, the focus now seems to be on profit - in our opinion, the prices are no longer justified. Like many of our friends, we have now found alternatives that offer better value for money. Given the current pricing, we find it difficult to imagine that the restaurant will continue to be as busy as it has been in previous years.

Whether with a large group or a small one, there is a lot of space here. If you want something a little quieter, you can also find a quiet place. The restaurant is very comfortably furnished and you can tell that you are sitting in a house with history. The food is regional, seasonal cuisine and it is very tasty. The team is very nice and has a solution for everything. We had a very good time here.

Vom Vorgänger Alter Fritz war man sehr gutes Essen gewöhnt. Aber was jetzt hier angeboten wird, entspricht in keinster Weise dem Preis/ Leistungsverhältnis. Blumenkohlsuppe wurde empfohlen und bestellt. Was kam war eine undefinierbare graue Pampe, völlig geschmacksneutral. Diese wurde zwar anstandslos zurück genommen, aber das macht es auch nicht wirklich besser. Die Hauptgerichte Hering mit Bratkartoffeln, haben wir uns nicht überzeugt. Überzeugt haben uns das Ambiente und der sehr nette Service. Während wir öfter beim Alten Fritz eingekehrt sind, werden wir jetzt aber Störtebecker von unserer Liste streichen. Grade in der heutigen Zeit, wo jedes Restaurant froh ist über Gäste, sollte man hier unbedingt nachbessern.

Quiet atmosphere, a bit cool furnishings for my taste. Very friendly, helpful staff. The food was hot and really tasty. I can only recommend the captain's plate with fried potatoes. Gladly again.

Burgers and steaks are less than average. Also, they have a WiFi hotspot which didn’t work on my laptop. When I asked for the password of the regular WiFi just for a minute, they refused because it’s only for the staff. I explained that I needed to make an urgent bank transfer and I cannot do it from my phone. I got the same answer.
