I'm changing my rating from 4/5 to 5/5 stars - it's just great every time and the 5 stars are absolutely deserved in my opinion. We have been to the Kulturbahnhof Greifswald several times on Sundays for brunch. It's great every time, nice service, very tasty food and a pleasant atmosphere. Unfortunately there were no croissants last time, but there were freshly baked waffles (optionally with powdered sugar, applesauce and/or whipped cream). We thought this was fantastic, waffles, pancakes or French toast are always great at brunch. Thank you very much, best regards

After I have often visited the KulturBahnhof for events, this time I took advantage of the lunch menu. It was very tasty, a large enough portion and, above all, inexpensive. Also very uncomplicated, quick with no waiting times, as everyone takes their meals directly to the table. Well attended and really recommended.

We were there for a Christmas themed evening: comedy show/corporate Christmas party. In short: not recommended. Food: There were two buffets for well over 400 people. That was far too little and anyone who didn't go right at the beginning only got leftovers. "Comedy Show": The absolute worst thing I've ever experienced. It got to the point where entire tables left during the show with a drink in their hand and only came back when there was a break from the program. Service: Nothing to complain about. Everyone was very nice! Conclusion: The good service could not make up for the food, ambience or the bottomless show.

Comedy and Christmas dinner...a really great experience. And then Ingo Appelt actually comes... awesome... three quarters of an hour of program without taking a breath... we were doubled over with laughter... the evening was worth every cent. Thank you also for the fast and friendly service.

Today we were pre-registered and pre-paid with around 20 people at the KulturBahnhof. When we arrived we discovered that we had been given two tables one behind the other, which made communication between people difficult. In our opinion, we could have planned better. Ambience/Staff/Food: The atmosphere is modern and warm. A large play area for children was at least temporarily interesting for the little ones. The staff was friendly, but that was about it. Unfortunately, the girls were completely untrained. Orders for drinks arrived incorrectly or not at all. Drinks were only brought after we asked. Plates were not cleared or cleared very late. The drinks, apart from coffee and mulled wine, have to be paid extra. The quality of the food didn't do justice to the 30 euros per person. Unfortunately, the lids on the warming plates were not put on, which meant that within a short time the food in front of the plate was already cold. I won't go into detail about what didn't fit, because everything is always a matter of taste, but only this much: Form chicken and ready-made sauces Given the price, that's a reason for us not to eat here anymore. Suggestion for improvement: 1: If the warm portion is brought at the same time as breakfast, the guests are spread out better at the buffet and so getting scrambled eggs is no longer a gamble. 2: Simply leave the lids on the food. 3: Train staff.

One of my top 10 restaurants in the world. Quite hidden, the structure of a quadruple cascade. Above is the small hotel. Then down 3 pools. The latter directly on a restaurant level with water seats. At the same time, there is always a bar within ordering distance. Further down there are lots of sun loungers. Afterwards there is a Caribbean beach with giant mattresses and a trampoline. The service is quick and attentive. Prices medium to high. Food delicious. Beverages innovative. I fully recommend it.

We went to an event for heart specialists at the Kulturbahnhof. Unfortunately, wheelchair access was not usable. The ambience is great, the food was very high quality.

YUMMY !!! Would I come again? YES 🥰 When it comes to food, I am very picky! I come from a family where everyone, including me, can cook to a very good standard. We went there for dinner with the family in the evening. The map is extremely small! 5, 6 dishes. Better home cooking I would say. Several dishes appealed to me directly. Tip: ask for vegetarian/vegan options! We had rump steak and the ox cheeks. The steak was perfect on the inside, but mine could have used more roasted flavor on the outside. The rosemary potatoes stood out! In no other restaurant have they been as aromatic as they are here! Everyone enjoyed the food very much. All wishes were taken into account. Service: Thank you very much for such a professional and nice service!! Very, very well trained restaurant specialist! I figured he must have worked in a hotel. He confirmed that to me later. Nevertheless, there is room for improvement: 1. please always have vegetarian/vegan dishes on the menu 2. We said when we made the reservation that we also needed non-alcoholic sparkling wine to toast with. Unfortunately, this was not implemented and orange juice was served instead. What does orange juice have to do with non-alcoholic sparkling wine? There are plenty of people who a) don't want to drink alcohol or aren't allowed to drink it, but still want to toast with champagne. After all, that's what non-alcoholic drinks are for. Something like that should be on the menu too. You can then sell it as a Piccolo if it is not sold regularly. 3. Children's topic: in the hall there is a large tunnel/climbing/sliding system that either belongs in an arcade or outside on a playground. So the restaurant inevitably became a noisy playground. Sorry, but if I want to go to a playground, I can go there. When I go to a restaurant, I pay for the atmosphere of a restaurant! That's why there are no 5 points for it. Children of guests can also be occupied in other ways. Coloring book, card game, etc. Things kids can do at the table! If they want to run around, parents have to go out with them. I worked in a sports hotel while studying. I stopped that sort of thing IMMEDIATELY and strictly!! This is far too dangerous! Running around can cause waiters to jostle, lose their balance, and children can get third-degree burns from hot coffee. Actually happened to friends in their own house. The child was flown by helicopter to a special clinic and had to stay there for weeks. Restaurant plates are really heavy! Children could suffer serious head injuries from falling plates. The waiter falls heavily and breaks his wrists or elbows. Dear restaurant professionals, dear owners: please feel free to refer to the duty of traffic safety and the duty of care that you owe. your staff! Stop running and shouting and separate the playground from the restaurant.

We had our class reunion at Kuba last night. Everything around us was just great. The service was super nice, the buffet was so delicious. An all-round successful evening and the Kuba team played a big part in it, thank you🙏

So sorry, there's nothing to complain about. The food is really delicious, tastes delicious and looks delicious. Very nice staff and they are also fair, I hope it stays that way.

Polite service, good food, definitely worth a visit

This is the perfect place to celebrate. But the fact that it stops at 2 a.m. is pretty stupid, around 3 or 4 a.m. would be better.

I was a guest at a wedding at KuBa and was very positively surprised. The ambience is perfect and the food was delicious.

Food looks delicious and tastes accordingly. However, we asked beforehand whether there was a vegan alternative to the buffet, to which we were told yes. The vegan alternatives ended up being rolls with jam, a cucumber and tomato salad. With a warm meal you could have rosemary potatoes with grilled vegetables. No real choice or extra alternative. Too bad.

Two of us were at the Kulturbahnhof for the Long Night of Comedy and had planned to eat in the restaurant beforehand. The table was booked for 5:30 p.m. and we were there on time. It was well attended, but there were still tables available. Certainly many guests who wanted to attend the event at 7 p.m. The menu didn't contain all the dishes that would normally be available, but we could understand that. We thought this was so that all guests could be served promptly and everyone would be full by the time of the event. When we placed the order, we also pointed out that we wanted to attend the event at 7 p.m. We got our drinks pretty promptly, after that we only saw other tables getting their food. We waited until 6:40 p.m., and at times there was no waiter in our area, and the drinks were empty. Nobody inquired, only when asked. Afterwards, food went to other tables again. After 5 minutes we asked again if we should eat in 10 minutes?! We asked if we could eat later. Alternatively, only the meal was during the 15 minute break. So we watched others eat for 1.5 hours with the tradable menu minimized and you just have to be able to do something like that at events, that's why it's a catering company. We then canceled and went to the event hungry. We had to pay for the drinks; when we asked for a free drink, we were given two small soft drinks. We really felt completely ripped off and it cast a huge shadow over attending the entire event. Of course the nice, cozy evening was over, although we made the best of it despite being hungry. McDonald's was then the only alternative left.

We had coffee and cake here for a family celebration. The waitresses were really accommodating. Thank you for the very pleasant stay. Keep it up 👍

Dear Cuba operator On the evening of the drag show we had dinner in their restaurants and then we went over to the show. The food was okay (unfortunately also ready-made products e.g. seasoned meat for €9) and the service staff were also very friendly. It was very sad for the No. 1 location in Greifswald that they no longer opened a bar on Saturday evening after a show at 11 p.m. and the audience had to stream out of their house. It's a real shame that you don't offer your visitors anything to end the evening after an event, even though you are the right location for it and that on a Saturday evening.

Unfortunately that wasn't as hoped. Long waiting times, overwhelmed but still friendly service staff. Pork medallions were out, schnitzel was a ready-made product, we specifically asked if it was fresh and they stuck with it even though it was clear. The chef was obviously asking the wait staff, because everyone looked over at us at the same time. Our table was only half cleared and the collection was a disaster. Occasionally people had to go to the counter to pay, then the vouchers were distributed at the tables and at some point the money was collected. It's a shame, but the drag show brought everything back. Next year we will unfortunately choose another location to eat.

Very long wait for our food, which wasn't even freshly prepared. The side salad was identical to the starter salad, a bit wilted and mushy, guess it had been there since lunch. Cream sauce for the vegetarian dish was very moonmin-heavy, too much so. The choice of food was clear, which is good in principle, but there was only one vegetarian dish on the menu, which was poor performance in times when more and more people are eating vegetarian/vegan. I'm definitely not coming back for dinner

The schnitzel was not fresh meat, more like molded meat. The cuisine used to be better. Pork fillet was fried to death. Food is not recommended.

We went with friends for brunch, which is offered there on 2 Sundays. The ambience is appealing. The tables were well set. The decoration was a bit unimaginative. The service was tried hard. However, the buffet, which is the most important thing at a brunch, was very bad. The selection of food was very poor. The plates were always empty and were not refilled immediately even when asked. Rolls were missing for almost 30 minutes and there were only a few dried-out scrambled eggs for ages leftovers. In short, it was very disappointing.

Einfach schlecht für Veranstaltungen der kleineren Art, Essen nicht mal Kantine, auch wenn es so bestellt war, war es nicht gut

Wir waren schon mehrmals zum Brunch und immer sehr zufrieden. Dieses Mal kein Vergleich. Das Frühstücksbuffet war um 10.45 Uhr fast komplett alle und wurde nur nach Aufforderung bzw. sehr schleppend nachgefüllt. Es war allerdings auch sehr voll. Das Mittagsangebot war sehr spärlich, es gab zwar Kartoffeln, aber kein Gericht mit einer vernünftigen Soße. Der Kellner war sehr aufmerksam und schnell, um etwas Positives zu sagen.

Endlich mal wieder Disco. 80, 90- iger Rock, Pop, Querbeet Coole Mugge, Ambiente braucht nen Moment aber man findet seinen Platz, nur nicht im Sitzen! Sitzplatzreservierung muß nicht sein. Für 2,- Euro mehr? Keine Sitzgelegenheiten. Lieber lassen und gemütliche einladende Stimmung schaffen. Weg mit der Reservierung! Darum nur 4 von 5 Sternen. Dennoch, super Ansatz und fast perfekt. Sitzplatzreservierung macht Kuba zu bider! Alles Entwicklungsfähig. Schlager gibt es auch im 2. Floor. Coole Bars und Mixgetränke. Genug Platz zum tanzen und quatschen. Preise okay. Was besseres kaum zu finden in Hgw. Haltet die Augen auf, falls etwas geht im Kuba. Besuch lohnt sich auf jeden Fall!

Eine tolle Location, Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend und das Essen ist super lecker . Also wir waren mit allem sehr zufrieden und würden es definitiv auch weiter empfehlen.

Als erstes möchte ich mich über die Zufahrt äußern.... geht gut, essen überhaupt nicht unser Ding. Dafür hätte ich nicht mal 4.50 € bezahlt. Der Service.... naja. Wir sind das erste Mal dort gewesen. Wir sind in den sogenannten Wintergarten gegangen und haben uns dort platziert bis uns dort speisende Handwerker drauf hingewiesen haben das dort Selbstbedienung ist. Und vom Ambiente ganz zu schweigen. Ich habe mich gefühlt..... es öffnet sich mir eine Gruft. Das Restaurant war sehr wenig beleuchtet, ich meine.... man kann es auch übertreiben.

Moin Möchte mich hier äußern über den Kulturbahnhof Greifswald. Waren gestern zu einer Familienfeier im KuBa Greifswald. Das Essen war genießbar , mehr möchte ich nicht dazu sagen . Der Service war der Rede nicht wer. Eine Dame hat ihr bestes gegeben aber war mit der Masse der Besucher doch völlig überfordert. Die Qualität des sogenannten Brunch erinnert an Schulessen . Das war mein zweiter Versuch und garantiert der letzte.

Zum Brunch waren wir dort. Ich empfehle unbedingt, darauf zu dringen, dass die Brunch-Gesellschaft in der "Veranda" platziert wird. Da war es sehr angenehm. Separiert von den anderen Gesellschaften. Denn im großen Raum ist es einfach zu laut. Keine so schöne Atmosphäre, für mein Empfinden. Ansonsten ein gutes Haus, durchaus zu empfehlen hinsichtlich des Angebots an Speisen usw. Kein Schnäppchen.....aber wo gibt es die schon noch?

Wir waren gestern zum Muttertags-Brunch hier und wurden freundlich empfangen. Frauen/Mütter erhielten ein Glas Sekt. Ungewöhnlich fand ich, dass das komplette Buffet erst ab 11 Uhr zur Verfügung stand. Das heißt, erst gab es ein Frühstücks-Angebot und warme Speisen (Mittag) wurden erst ab 11 Uhr aufgefüllt. Diese wiederum wurden ab 13 Uhr aber schon wieder abgeräumt so wie der Rest des Buffets langsam auch. Empfand ich als Frechheit und Rausschmiss. Positiv hervorzuheben ist ein junger Mann, der uns bedient hat, stets sehr freundlich und bemüht. Die jungen Kolleginnen haben es leider nicht geschafft unseren Tisch zwischendurch immer mal abzuräumen, bevor sich das Geschirr gestapelt hat oder mal nach weiteren Getränken zu fragen. Der Preis pro Person für das Buffet war meiner Meinung nach überzogen, zumal im Preis als Getränk wirklich nur Filterkaffee enthalten war. Das kenne ich anders. Zum Brunchen würde ich hierher nicht wieder kommen.

Wir waren zum Mittagstisch, der ist mit Bestellung am Tresen. Ging aber alles super fix und die Leute waren sehr nett :)
