There were five of us and we ate on the beautiful terrace. The service was truly exceptional; even small special requests were fulfilled immediately, and the staff were generally very attentive! We had five different dishes, and all were excellent. The salads and side dishes were also delicious! We'd love to go back!

We've eaten there many times now and have never been disappointed. The service is friendly and courteous. However, some portions are a bit disproportionate. For example, my son had a rice pudding portion that was much too large for a four-year-old, while my portion of goulash was rather meager. However, that's been the only criticism so far, and the portion sizes of the numerous fish dishes have always been appropriate.

I don't know if I don't understand the sense of humor in the north, but the waitress (a bit older, short blonde hair) is very peculiar. Maybe she finds stupid comments funny, but that doesn't go down well with everyone. The food was very good. Kudos to the kitchen.

For everyone who needs to know the reading time in advance, how fast can you read?😎 So spontaneously went back to it today, because it's always like a little short vacation and this location with the bridge, all the hustle and bustle, the boats, the ships and boats gives you a wonderful atmosphere and you're immediately there. It continues in the same way, so you come along, in Corona times, without pre-ordering, and hope that things will somehow go well. Was it... The waitress, or as we now call it the restaurant manager, was so nice and accommodating to us, we immediately felt at home and were happy that we had made the right decision. Because friendliness was never the standard in the past or today, although you have to admit that you will almost always be treated kindly if you try yourself in this discipline. The food was there in no time and I can only recommend it Rump steak from Uruguay, comes in two versions...me with sweet potato fries (delicious) in combination with sour cream and beans, which, at least according to the menu, would even be noble 😊, my accompaniment in the admittedly lavish salad variant, which I don't want to go on about because I'm not a cow, er, goat, er, grass eater... Anyway, the food was of excellent quality for both me and the cow, er, goat, er, companion. Kudos to the cook, cook, cook!!! I digress... I would also like to add that there are also huge ice cream sundaes on the ferry and, I admit, you can even enjoy them here before the main course😋 Prices? Very rustic and cozy restaurant with Greifswald flair, whether inside or outside right by the water. From Eldena harbor over the bridge, then left directly into the Zu Fähre restaurant. The ferry in Greifswald is simply great! Delicious, down-to-earth food with typical German, regional cuisine. It's especially cool if you get a spot on the terrace - a real highlight with a view of the Wiecker Bridge! Great for families as there is also a seesaw and swing for the kids. The price-performance ratio is absolutely right and the service is always friendly and quick. We have been here several times and will definitely come back!

We were invited to a golden wedding anniversary. Even the furnishings are beautiful. Paneled with dark wood, lots of pictures of ships, the sea and the region, rustic and beautifully set tables. The waitresses were very careful, friendly and attentive. The food was simply delicious. There were no places available for spontaneous guests, you have to reserve. The quality is just attractive. Edit: Went there again for our 80th birthday. It was beautiful again. 💕

I can only give my review about the restaurant because we are from Greifswald and eat there regularly. A great atmosphere to feel good. As a former resident of Wieck, I feel at home there in the tastefully furnished restaurant with the old photos and decorative pieces. The staff is super friendly and has everything under control even when stressed. The food tastes very good (lots of different dishes, something for everyone) and the desserts are also really tasty. We look forward to an enjoyable lunch every time we visit. Our son in particular is an absolute fan of the giant schnitzel and his mother also loves this schnitzel, albeit in a slightly smaller version... ;-) We now count ourselves as regular guests and that probably won't change... You should Definitely make a reservation because the restaurant is always busy.

We were in Greifswald for a family reunion and spent 2 nights in the guest house and the rooms are actually very nice but the bathroom in our room was special because the toilet and shower were very, very narrow, I mean really narrow, the toilet was about 70x70 cm the breakfast was ok

The guesthouse has the charm of the 80s. My room was large, extremely clean and with a view of the Ryck Canal with the old Wiecker bascule bridge. The bathroom was a little too small. I only had breakfast in the restaurant, so I can't comment on the menu. Breakfast was served to me personally and was quite okay. A minus point were the baked rolls.

Extremely nice and courteous employees. Hotel stay was very pleasant. Very spacious room and excellent pillows. A clear recommendation.

We have a wonderful evening in the restaurant with friends Allowed to spend “to the ferry”. The dining room was completely occupied, but the staff still managed the service confidently. Always on the ball, always listening to the guests (even when there are changes to the composition of the dishes). The kitchen delivered perfectly (as usual).👍🏻 All the dishes ordered were served at the same time, hot and quickly given the high number of guests. The entire staff left a very professional impression. Particularly noteworthy would be Katrin's performance and demeanor. Thanks to the entire team. We will be very happy to come back.

Sehr nettes Restaurant, super Service, günstige Preise....

Wir haben eine große Familienfeier dort gefeiert und es gab ein mehr als großzügiges Trinkgeld ( 10%) vom Gesamtpreis aber als um 23:55 die letzte Bestellung getätigt wurde und um 00:05 die Getränke kamen sollte wegen fünf Minuten eine saftige Servicepauschale berechnet werden denn wir haben ja nur bis 24:00 gebucht. An diesem Abend hat das Restaurant einen wirklich sehr guten Umsatz mit meiner Familie gemacht und das obwohl wir auf Bedienung und Getränke warten mussten und sie teilweise an der Bar bestellen mussten. Darauf angesprochen zog die Bedienung den restlichen Abend eine Flappe und es wird sich wegen fünf Minuten so angestellt. Von so einem Traditionhaus habe ich einen Top Service erwartet aber vielleicht setzt man hier eher auf einen Namen der mit gutem Service in Verbindung gesetzt wird als diesem gerecht zu werden. Unsere Familie wird dort keine Ferien mehr ausrichten lassen.

Wir haben in dieser, eigentlich sehr schönen Lokalität, ein Diamantene Hochzeit gefeiert. Das Essen (Buffet) war super. Die Bedienung war anfangs sehr nett aber ließ im Verlauf des Abends stark nach und war immer seltener zu sehen. Es ging soweit das einige Gäste sich ihre Getränke vom Tresen selbst holen mussten. Die eigentliche Krönung des Abends kam als um 5min vor Zwölf, nachdem die Rechnung von ich denke über 2t Euro mit einem Trinkgeld von gut 10%, bezahlt worden ist. Es wurd noch eine letzte Bestellung von einem Bier und zwei doppelte Wodka gemacht die dann noch mit einer Bewirtungspauschale von 140€ berechnet werden sollten. Das war für mich die größte Frechheit die ich in einem Restaurant je erlebt habe. Überhaupt so ein Theater zu machen wegen einem Bier und zwei Kurze ist jedem der noch dagewesenen Gäste ein Rätsel gewesen und das Entsetzen war riesig.

Gute Anbindung mit Bus gutes essen

Super Service und Essen fantastisch. Es war ein tolles Mittagessen und nur zu empfehlen. Schöne übersichtliche Karte, auf der jeder etwas finden sollte!

Leckeres Essen, Preise sind auch ok. Das Rumpsteak wird hier jedenfalls besser zubereitet als im schräg gegenüberliegend Steak House 😉

Anlässlich meines runden Geburtstages reservierten wir für 25 Personen Plätze in der "Fähre", die uns nach den letzten Besuchen in sehr guter Erinnerung blieb. Wie immer wurden wir nicht enttäuscht. Bereits die Vorbesprechung verlief äußerst harmonisch, der Geschäftsführer ging auf unsere Vorstellungen ein und bereicherte sie durch passende Ideen. Das "Fähre"-Team zeichnete sich durch hervorragenden Service, Freundlichkeit und Perfektion aus. Schon die Raumgestaltung war sehenswert: passende Farben, Blumengestecke, Kerzen, bereitgestellte Abstellmöglichkeiten für die Geschenke, besser ging es nicht. Für unseren Beamer positionierte Henry Lietz eine Leiter so, dass sie im Raum nicht störte und einen idealen Abstand unserer Präsentation zur Leinwand garantierte. Wir wären nie auf die Idee mit dieser Leiter gekommen! Die Küche lieferte einmal mehr Spitzenqualität, die Gerichte und Getränke wurden zeitgleich serviert, sodass kein Leerlauf entstand. Im Verlauf des Abends musste niemand darauf warten, wann endlich jemand kam, um die Getränkebestellung aufzunehmen. An diesen Tag werden wir immer gern zurückdenken - und daran hat das gesamte "Fähre"-Team einen Riesenanteil. Vielen, vielen Dank - es war so angenehm bei Ihnen, weil Sie Ihren Beruf lieben - das konnte man ganz deutlich sehen. Also, für alle noch ohne "Fähre"-Erfahrung: Es lohnt sich einfach!

Alles ein bisschen Retro 😉 was nicht schlecht sein muss... die Speisen waren liebevoll angerichtet und zubereitet👍 große Portionen zum angemessenen Preis...sehr freundliches und fachkompetentes Personal...von mir 5 Sterne ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Wir hatten ein kleines Zimmer mit Dachschräge und Blick zum Innenhof. Direkt vor den Fenstern das Dach der Küche mit Abzug. Dadurch kam es zu einer ständigen Geruchsbelästigung. Auch sonst war der Geruch des alten Gebäudes immer präsent. Positiv : Kostenfreier Parkplatz am Hotel. Zimmer war sehr sauber.

Ein Abendessen das in Erinnerung bleibt. Das Lokal ist absolut sehenswert. Gemütlich. Bis ins kleinste Detail identisch. Man kommt rein und fühlt sich wohl. Unsere Perle im Service, laut Kassenbon die Katrin, machte sofort einen Tisch für uns sauber. Mit Augenzwinkern etwas frech im positiven Sinn, professionell und flott. Wir bestellten die ganze Scholle mit Bratkartoffeln und die Ochsenbäckchen mit Rotkraut, Biersoße und Kartoffelpürree. Jedes Gericht zu 19.50€. Was nun aus der Küche kam war ohne Worte. Top. Geschmackvoll. Große Portion. Ausreichend Beilage. Sollten wir jemals wieder in diese Ecke kommen, so gibt es keine Alternative. Zur Fähre! Wir sehen uns wieder. Danke für den Abend. Ein schon etwas in die Jahre gekommenen Restaurant, trotzdem strahlt es eine Gemütlichkeit aus. Das Service Personal ist sehr freundlich. Das Essen war sehr lecker und die Portionen Recht ordentlich. Edith: leider hat sich das Essen sehr ins negative verändert. Wir werden nicht mehr wieder kommen. Die Männliche Service Kraft war zwar sehr freundlich, aber das macht das Essen auch nicht besser.

Wir waren zum Essen hier. Es war wie immer sehr lecker. Leider wurden auf meinem Vorspeisensalat die karamellisierten Walnüsse vergessen. Das war schade, da der Salat nicht preisgünstig ist und durch die Walnüsse das gewisse Etwas hat. Meine Trüffel-Pasta war sehr gut.

Familien Feier mit 22 Personen. Die Gastgeberin bekam 3 Gerichte zur Auswahl. Die 3 Gerichte waren vorgegeben, konnten nicht anders bestellt werden. Nicht mal die Beilagen. Und die 3 Gerichte waren total Banane. Hähnchenbrust mit "Bechamel Kartoffeln inkl Kartoffelschale", dann Zanderffilet mit ???Vanille??? Spitzkohl mit Fertig Kartoffelpüree oder Vegane Kichererbsen Bratlinge mit Salat und Süßkartoffeln Pommes????? Ekelhaft!!! Das meiste war Kalt. Und während wir alle schon gar keine Lust mehr hatten, überhaupt ein Gericht zu bestellen, bekamen die anderen Gäste, die nicht zur Familienfeier gehörten, lecker Schnitzel usw.. Zum Kaffee gab es TIefkühlkuchen. Um dem Ganzen die Krone aufzusetzen war das Personal unfreundlich und schnippisch. Dann fängt die Vorgesetzte die Gäste an zu duzen. Die andere Angestellte wollte die Gäste in einem unprofessionellen Ton belehren. Ich kann über die Hotelzimmer und die "normalen Gerichte nichts sagen, aber die Familienfeier war eine totale Enttäuschung, und das Geld nicht wert. Bedauerlich, der Standort ist perfekt für das Restaurant.

Super Speisekarte, nettes, aufmerksame Personal, toller Service. Der neue Inhaber hat aus einem ehemals "verstaubten Laden", ein Schmuckstück gemacht. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Meine Familie hat im Zuge eines Kurzaufenthaltes im Hotel übernachtet. Alle waren rundum zufrieden. Die Zimmer sind sauber, komfortabel und bequem. Die Lage des Hotels ist wunderbar. Wer hier morgens aufwacht, startet den Tag im Urlaubsmodus. Ein kurzer Spaziergang entlang des Wassers lädt zum Verweilen ein. In Wiek lässt es sich gut aushalten. Die Kommunikation mit dem Hotel hat hervorragend geklappt. Auch der Service war sehr zuvorkommend. Auf alle Wünsche wurde umfänglich eingegangen. Vielen Dank !!! Am Abend haben wir gemeinsam im Hotel gegessen und das leckere Essen genossen. Empfehlen kann ich besonders den Lachs mit gratiniertem Feta und die Scholle mit Speck und Zwiebeln. Die Scholle war super knusprig. Im Vergleich zu anderen Restaurants in Greifswald, sind die Fischspezialitäten hier wirklich frisch. Ja , selbst die Bratkartoffeln waren um einiges besser als in anderen Restaurants. Verträglich, nicht fertig oder ölig. Zum Abschluss gab es auf Empfehlung eine leckere Creme Brulé . Super cremig mit sehr knuspriger Karamellschicht. Hat auf jeden Fall hausgemacht geschmeckt ⭐️ da merkt man, dass echte Vanille und frische Eier verwendet werden. Wir wurden umfangreich bei der Auswahl der Speisen beraten. MV ist für seinen manchmal sehr wortkargen Service bekannt. Umso erfrischender war es im Restaurant “Zur Fähre”. Auch der Restaurantleiter kam vorbei und erkundigte sich nach dem Wohlbefinden, plauderte mit uns und war insgesamt sehr bemüht, dass sich die Gäste wohlfühlen. So verbrachten wir insgesamt einen ganz wunderbaren Abend miteinander und genossen die tolle Atmosphäre und die großartigen Speisen. Vielen Dank an die Hotelleitung

Tolle maritimes Restaurant, in dem das Essen schmeckt und der Service auf zack ist. Gerne mal wieder. Inzwischen sind wir mehrmals hier aufgeschlagen. es hat sich über diesen gesamten Zeitraum nichts verschlechtert. Im Gegenteil: Alles sehr freundlich strukturiert, der Service nach wie vor präsent und das Essen reichlich und sehr schmackhaft!!!!
