Steakhouse Las Malvinas in Berlin

I had a reservation done online and when we got to the restaurant there were many people waiting outside because their reservation was not respected and delayed at least of 30‘. This is a clear overbooking done, so I would not go to this restaurant anymore.

We went to the restaurant for dinner today. The steaks we ordered were not what we wanted. My daughter had her steak brought back to the kitchen three times, but it always came back the way it wasn't ordered. The waitress was slightly annoyed, and so were we. The corn on the cob wasn't what it used to be, a little too cold and burnt. Either the setvice team didn't like us, right? No small compensation at a final price of 113 euros and no small espresso, that's outrageous. Not again!

A straight A++ for the T-Bone, great side dishes, service attentive and friendly

The food looks nice from the reviews, however after 20 minutes of waiting, we were not even acknowledged for our reservation. There is no host or person organising the people at the door, and other customers seem to walk in and just ask for a table without reservations being acknowledged. Eventually we left having not eaten at all or even having our reservation acknowledged. Clearly they had overbooked understaffed and were ill organised . Can’t say the service was acceptable.

First visit, and I was very impressed. Perfectly cooked steak, which is not always guaranteed even in a steakhouse as I like mine very rare. Great atmosphere, very lively, with friendly welcoming staff

The food was very good. However, my dessert, the baked apple, was missing the classic ingredients such as raisins and walnuts. But I'll be happy to come back.

Price/performance is not right. The chef can't do anything and everything is made to order. The noise in the restaurant is unbearable.

Fancy but reasonably priced restaurant. Delicious, fresh, well prepared food and helpful staff. Great place for any lovers is steak and great options for those who prefer other things to eat.

We had a very nice evening in this restaurant. The service was very friendly and attentive and everyone enjoyed the food very much. A fillet, which unfortunately had a tendon, was replaced with another without any problems. We'd love to come back.

This restaurant is a hidden gem in berlin. It was recommended by friends and we had a great experience eating a delicious dinner with a following dessert. We ordered a menu for 2 persons. The steak was well-done as ordered and the steamed vegetables were perfectly cooked. Mushroom sauce was delicious and full of flavors. The restaurant’s decor is really nice and comfortable, the staff is also friendly and the service was great.

Landed here by chance and easily got a table for two people on Saturday evening, even without a reservation. Food was very tasty (a little spicier wouldn't be bad), the staff was nice and accommodating. Nice place 👌

One of the best steakhouses in Berlin, block house packs a punch!!! On the way to the Tempodrom we came across the steakhouse; we liked the atmosphere. The food is another world. As a starter we had grilled baguette with red pesto and tomatoes, awesome, plus the dips were pure taste orgasm. When the steak with green beans and country potatoes and the freshly made pepper sauce came, it was over. It really was perfect. Even the drinks (Hugo) were probably the best we've ever had. WE WILL DEFINITELY COME BACK!!!!

modern steak restaurant, with very attentive service. I ordered my T bone steak medium but about half was rare. I asked to put it on the grill again. My wish was fulfilled and I also received a new baked potato back. That wasn't necessary but it was very nice. It was very busy that evening and I found it very cramped due to the many tables. I'll definitely come back again.

We were guests with a larger group of 8 people. The food was excellent, the portions (side dishes) were reasonably large. Ambiance is good, but some tables are close together, which I personally don't like. Noisy, but the restaurant was full on a Friday evening. Service is the only criticism. Aperitifs only came to the table after the starter, red wine only came several minutes after the steaks were served. Overall long waiting times for drinks. Waiter friendly, but peculiar (first took orders for all main courses and forbade appetizer orders, then had to be asked again after the order was finished whether appetizers could be ordered). Two drinks were forgotten and had to be reordered. There is still room for improvement here, but overall it was a nice visit.

Service was exceptional. Food was good and came extremely quickly. There are small drawbacks due to the narrow seating and the music being a bit too loud, but we'll be happy to come back.

Great restaurant with very good food. We were there for the first time today. Our Italian restaurant, where we always ate steaks, has been closed for a while now and we've been looking for a new place. Today for my birthday it was this restaurant and I'm glad we went there. We had the entrecoute twice and the grill plate for 2 once. The steak was very tender, but had a little too many tendons and both the sweet potato fries and the regular ones were very crispy. The pork was also cooked quite well, but the chicken was a little dry. The pepper sauce and mushroom sauce were both very good. For drinks we had the homemade passion fruit and pomegranate lemonade. Both were very good, if a bit sour. The waiters were also all super friendly and accommodating and left nothing to be desired. Only the volume in the restaurant was really too loud, but of course the employees can't do anything about that. All in all, it's a high standard and we'll definitely go back.

We had a really nice and delicious dinner here. The lava cake was amazing. Also, nice and kind staff. Recommended.

First day in Berlin we decide to try one of the best steakhouses, "las Malvinas" appeared to us. Nice place, very kind and attentive staff, for a Saturday it wasn't very full... we order the 3-course meal to be shared by two people. We were served a salad as an appetizer followed by a platter of lamb fillet, chicken fillet, black angus and prawns (fish and meat together a questionable choice) all accompanied by chips and a sauce made with cream and mushrooms (delicious sauce), as a last course 3 desserts a chocolate cake, vanilla ice cream, fruit sorbet and finally cheesecake. Right balance between quality and price.

Thanks to the 4.7 star rating, we chose this steakhouse and were pleasantly surprised. Nice atmosphere, great service and the steaks were very tasty. The waiting time between each course could be a little longer. We'll definitely be back.

We had dinner with a handicapped child and found a lot of understanding. The steak was good and the rest of the food was delicious too. The service was courteous and tried to clarify any allergy-causing additives.

We were in Berlin for a few days on a short break and decided to eat here. The Steak was lovely - melt in the mouth, service was excellent, cocktails yummy and the Apple Strudel was the best one I had while I was in Berlin. My daughter loved the Tiramisu too! I would definitely recommend

Took a 3 course choice for 2 people including starter, main and dessert. They were fast to bring out the different courses between the meals. The meat were juicy and tasty and the waitresses were polite. Recommend !

Small restaurant with good food. The steak was a bit too tough for a fillet, but basically not bad. It was pretty loud in the restaurant the whole time, which is probably due to the fact that there were too many tables for the size of the room. Sometimes you had to speak to each other quite loudly across the table. The service staff was very nice, but had to work really hard. Unfortunately, one of our drinks was left mixed at the bar for more than 5 minutes and no one brought it to the table.

We were there on a Saturday evening, it was very crowded and therefore very loud. The starter (beef carpaccio) was frozen; when asked, a new one was supposed to be brought, which never found its way to the table. One person's main course was well-done instead of medium rare and mine had the wrong side dish. The correct side dish was provided free of charge, but the sweet potato fries were swimming in oil. We also had a fly in the sauce. Despite everything, when we paid we wanted to leave a tip of €5, but the waiter entered €10 on his own initiative and the amount could no longer be reversed.

We went with 5 adult and 1 child. The food was fantastic, the service was perfect and the mood was very cozy!

Excellent steakhouse with first class service! I recently had the pleasure of visiting this steakhouse and absolutely loved it. As soon as I entered, I noticed the cozy atmosphere and the stylish furnishings - perfect for a relaxed evening. The staff was extremely friendly, attentive and professional. Our orders were taken quickly and came to the table after a short time. I was particularly impressed by the expert advice on choosing the right steak and side dishes. The highlight was of course the food: My steak was cooked to perfection - crispy on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside. The quality of the meat was excellent and you can tell that only the best ingredients are used here. The side dishes, such as the crispy fries and crunchy vegetables, were also perfectly balanced. An absolute must for steak lovers! The price-performance ratio is definitely good here and I will definitely come back.

Food was great! We had a small issue with one of the waiter but was solved in the end.

The restaurant impresses with a beautiful, elegant ambience and excellent service. Unfortunately the food leaves a lot to be desired. Our 250g steaks were supposed to be well done, but arrived so rare that my mushroom sauce was colored red. The potato was still raw. The prices are unreasonably high for this quality. Side dishes such as potatoes and sauces have to be ordered separately, which further increases the bill. We paid around €80 for two people and didn't really get full. Overall, the restaurant is highly overrated.

I think my Entrecote was "underdone". But I think my fault. Their menu says their "default" is "Medium", but I asked for "Medium Rare". I should have sent it back, but I didn't. Still pretty good. So, if you are in "East Berlin", near the TV Tower, and want steak, go for it.

Thanks to a T A report on here we looked up this place and were pleased to find that if you produce your Berlin Welcome Card you get 25% off the meat section of the menu. Booked on line 10 minutes beforehand on a busy Thursday evening and got in at 7.30 pm. Food and service very good and the discount applied to our small portion steaks helped offset the reasonable cost of the 2 glasses of decent house red.

Found this gem of a steakhouse and we were so lucky to get a table. Food was excellent.

Because the hotel I am staying in is nearby, and if you have a Berlin Welcome Card, you will get a 25% discount. The location is in a residential area, and it may be a better restaurant nearby. It specializes in barbecue steak. When coming from Alexanderplatz, you can take the tram M4 or M5 and get off at the nearby station. It's about a 5-minute walk by car. Personally, I think the food is just average, and there's no tipping requirement.

My wife and I chose Las Malvinas Steakhouse for our last meal out of our 2 week holiday in Berlin and were very glad we did. Everything was fabulous. The service was very friendly, impeccable and attentive, the Mixed Grill for 2 was prepared to perfection and utterly delicious, plus a buzzing atmosphere from the full restaurant made our experience one of the best. Even though there was a queue of people wanting tables we were not rushed at all.

Despite making a reservation with about 20 other guests who had also made a reservation, we waited for 20 minutes in front of the already completely full restaurant. The staff was overwhelmed by the situation. We were repeatedly put off for 2-3 minutes, then everyone was supposed to get a seat, which wasn't the case. We were disappointed and went somewhere else. Online reservations are not recommended, they don't seem to be taken seriously.

My 15 year old son was on a school trip to Berlin. As a special event, he and four of his friends wanted to go out for steak. So you dress properly and are rejected at the first restaurant when you ask about your age. They google it again and try their luck at Las Malvinas. Here too there is the question of age. But then: “You’re 15 and you want to eat steak? Good boys!” They are shown to a table and order. When two friends find their T-bone steak too rare, they throw it back into the pan and add the sweet potatoes. When only one of the boys orders dessert with an eye on pocket money, a mixed plate is brought so that everyone gets dessert. Dear Las Malvinas team: You are awesome! If we ever find ourselves in Berlin, we will come by your place to personally thank you for this precious memory of the children - and of course to eat with you, our son was absolutely thrilled. The meat was overcooked. When you ask for mid-rare you get mid and when you ask for mid you get almost well done. Also the meat was quite dry and not tender.

We enjoyed the best food and the best service! Our waitress had a class A+ service level and was smiling and joking with us, even though she had had a very long day. This place has our best recommendation.

The whole dinner was okay but I wouldn’t go back. The service was really bad, when our server came to the table we asked her about the different steaks (there are about 7 or 8 on the menu), she just turned the page with pictures of 4 steaks and said it’s in front of you and left and didn’t come back. The cooking of the steak was uneven (we ordered one as medium well and another as medium, the medium well had several medium rare parts, while the medium had some completely rare parts). Overall, the steaks lacked flavor. The sides were good, we ordered the over baked potatoes and the grilled corn. There was nothing special about them but they were okay. Also, for the day, payment by card was not allowed so we had to go get cash which was not super convenient but it happens- and the manager was nice to offer us some complementary wine.

Had spontaneous dinner here today. My steak Black Angus Entrecote tasted very good, unfortunately there was a lot of muscle meat. So I had to chew a lot. The plate was not preheated. Therefore, half of the steak was already cold. The fillet steak from my companion was good. But there are better ones in Berlin. Conclusion for a bill of almost 100 euros for both of us: don't come here anymore.

We were there on October 3rd. There in the early evening and it was correspondingly full. At times there was a queue in front of the restaurant - so reservations are recommended! The service was very friendly and quickly responded to smaller requests (reserving an additional spoon or something similar). The food was absolutely ok, but not 5 stars. Here I'll put it in relation to other steak restaurants and then stick to 4 stars in terms of price-performance. The meat was tasty, but a little tough here and there. The cooking level (medium and medium-rare for our two steaks) was very well done! The side dishes and appetizers were great. Very tasty shrimp, great garlic bread with a first-class avocado dip and the grilled vegetables were delicious. The latter wasn't very salty, which I personally liked. This way I can adjust the seasoning to suit my taste. It was full in the restaurant and therefore a bit louder, but still within reason. Unfortunately it was relatively cool and we fluctuated somewhere between cool and 'still ok'. I can recommend the restaurant, but I don't think it's significantly better than the competition, some of which are a bit cheaper. You have to keep in mind that side dishes and sauces are charged extra to the steak prices. Overall, a good to very good store.

So a very nice restaurant but unfortunately not what I expected. I ordered a tomahawk, after 5 minutes I was told that they no longer had a tomahawk, we were really 5 people I discovered a file for myself and ordered one based on the waiter's recommendation We had ordered 4x herb butter for our steaks, but only 2x herb butter came. I told the waiter that my herb butter was missing. The answer came immediately after a minute. After waiting, nothing came. I asked the other waiter about it, he looked and looked for my herb butter in the order. then apologized after about 5 minutes I got my herb butter It's a shame for such a beautiful shop

The service was very bad, we went today 09/29/2024, the service was terrible, the waiters asked you the same thing 6 times. The Turkish who looked like the owner told you that the wifi was down and they lost the reservations. 2 hours waiting plus 1 and a half hours waiting for dinner. The meat is tough and quite hard, the side dishes tasteless. The wine tastes very average. Totally overrated. The ambience is quite loud, you can hardly hear the person you are talking to. I can't recommend it.
