Star Döner Gonsenheim in Mainz

I was very disappointed with my durum purchase. The bread was completely burnt, making the entire durum inedible. To my regret, the burnt bread was not replaced. This experience was extremely frustrating and I hope that more emphasis will be placed on the quality of the products in the future.

I asked for tomatoes and cucumber only on the durum, they gave me a a durum with everything except tomatoes and cucumber. When i told them they did nothing. Inside was really cold

I would particularly like to recommend one offer here: the kebab menu. For €10 you can get a decent kebab and a sufficient portion of fries, as well as a 330ml soft drink of your choice. I am very convinced of this overall package, especially considering the price. Sometimes the store closes a little earlier than indicated on Google. I can recommend a kebab shop in Ingelheim: Döner Memo. There is also delicious kebab there. Here for the Döner Star 4 stars and a thumbs up.

Somehow today wasn't good. Very little content in the flatbread in general. Had the vegetarian version, I had to look for the cheese. The yoghurt sauce seemed more like mayo or, in any case, a finished product that was far too thick. Unfortunately, it wasn't really good all around today. This could have been saved. At home I refilled it with my own salad and feta and rinsed off the sauce so that I could at least enjoy the delicious flatbread...

Really very tasty kebabs. The employees are always friendly. And the restaurant is also relatively nice. Pickup also worked great.

I used to think it was the best place to go for a kebab. Unfortunately the price-performance ratio is no longer right. Doner kebab feels like it has hardly any content and you won't feel full anymore.

Consistently a good kebab. Everything seems fresh and clean, the kebab is well filled and the price is also good. Unfortunately for me there's something missing that's "particularly" good in the kebab, so it's "unfortunately" only good.

We really like the kebab, lamcun and pide. We give 5 out of 5 stars. We like to eat at Star Döner and we really enjoy it. We're happy to move forward. The service is very friendly and nice, as well as helpful.

Your doner depends on the mood of the person who makes it. Once they gave me a nice and big doner time ago, today I ordered the menue for 10 euros and they gave me a small super hard bread with small veggies and inexistent meat inside. I mean really?? Do you think people are stupid to give you 10 euro n get NOTHING?!!!!

Great selection, very tasty, everyone friendly. And it's still pretty quick, even when there's a lot of traffic. I deduct the ambience because it's not a restaurant in the classic sense. But it's okay for a quick meal. I still give it 5 stars overall because most people take the food with them anyway.

Unfortunately, the meat is cheap minced meat and nothing special, the sauces are bought ready-made and you can taste it. The ratio of meat to salad is okay for this price range. Unfortunately there isn't much more to it. Too few tomatoes, for example. There is also coleslaw here. Edit: photos; Ready-made sauces from plastic buckets in the yellow bag on the corner in front of the kebab shop. Speaks for itself. The operator's answer is also unconvincing, everyone who likes to eat kebab prefers historical meat. Minced skewer is always poorer quality and doesn't taste as good. Plus, turkey is usually the cheapest meat anyway. Not recommendable.

Doner kebab is far too expensive, the portion is relatively smaller than in other kebab shops and unfortunately the taste is really poor. So I don't get kebab there anymore, sorry... that's almost usury.

Here you can get great kebab, Dürum and co., great value for money. Always fresh, always delicious. Special requests are no problem.

The kebab is always good quality, freshly prepared and there is a good selection of sauces. Occasionally I think it could use a little more ingredients. In terms of price, Star Döner is at the usual level. The slightly elevated view of the wide street makes eating here relaxed.

Really tasty and large portions of the kebab plate, for example. Despite it being a busy Saturday evening, we were able to take the order with us quickly.

Today was “no cooking”. So off to the “Star-Kebab”. Get a super delicious kebab with lots of meat, super seasoned sauce and fresh salad in a wonderful crusty bread. My darling was happy about an extremely tasty Dürüm. The MA were very nice and accommodating. A really good place for people who like quick Turkish food.😋 P.S.: ...and the price/performance ratio is also right!!!👍

Personal teilweise aufdringlich unfreundlich und Döner durchschnittlich. Dönerteller ist okay. Zu teuer!

Leider kaum Fleisch im Döner dafür viel Krautsalat . Zudem war er Eise kalt. Schade Geschmacklich war es nämlich garnicht so schlecht.

Заказал Донер меню, и когда я забрал свой заказ, и начал есть, лаваш был не прожаренный, как резина. А в целом норм. Очень вкусно!

Wir haben drei Tage hintereinander dort was rausgeholt und das Team dort war immer nett und es machte immer einen sauberen Eindruck. Wenn wir wieder in Mainz sind, werden wir definitiv wieder dort bestellen :-)

Richtig guter Döner. Vor allem die Jumbovarianten haben ein vorzügliches Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Alles in allem ein sehr solider Laden, vor allem wenn man großen Hunger hat. War dieses Jahr schon oft da und war nie enttäuscht.

Einer der besten lahmacun dürüm. Mit der Jumbo Größe wird auch jeder satt. 👍👍

Ich liebe den Jumbo Dürüm in diesem Laden. Endlich mal eine Portion die ordentlich satt macht und nur für 1,50€ mehr als der normale Dürüm. Unschlagbar. Die Soße ist auch der Kracher.

Den Star Döner Gonsenheim in Mainz zu besuchen war eine absolut positive Erfahrung. Zunächst einmal möchte ich die Qualität des Essens loben. Die Döner und andere Gerichte, die ich probiert habe, waren einfach köstlich. Das Fleisch war zart und perfekt gewürzt, das Gemüse frisch und knackig, und die Soßen waren unglaublich lecker. Es war offensichtlich, dass hier mit hochwertigen Zutaten gearbeitet wird, und das schmeckte man in jedem Bissen. Der Service im Star Döner war ebenso beeindruckend. Die Bestellung wurde schnell aufgenommen und das Essen wurde prompt serviert. Es war spürbar, dass das Team im Star Döner großen Wert auf Kundenzufriedenheit legt und alles daran setzt, dass sich die Gäste wohl fühlen. Es gab genügend Sitzplätze für kleine und größere Gruppen. Egal ob man sich entscheidet, das Essen im Restaurant zu essen oder es mitzunehmen, man fühlt sich stets willkommen und gut aufgehoben. Ein weiterer Pluspunkt ist das ausgezeichnete Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Die Portionen waren großzügig und die Preise fair. Man bekommt wirklich viel für sein Geld und kann sich satt und zufrieden fühlen, ohne das Portemonnaie zu sehr zu belasten. Alles in allem kann ich das Restaurant Star Döner Gonsenheim in Mainz uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Das Essen ist fantastisch, der Service erstklassig. Egal ob für ein schnelles Mittagessen der der To-Go Dönerteller zum Abend, hier wird man definitiv nicht enttäuscht.

Wirklich der beste Dönerladen, den ich je besucht habe. Ich war schon so oft hier und werde immer wieder kommen. Das Essen ist unglaublich lecker und das Personal extrem freundlich. 😊

Ich habe drei Söhne, die schon seit Jahren gerne hier immer mal ein Essen bekommen, wenn Muttern keine Lust zu kochen hat. Trotz wechselnder kulinarischer Vorlieben gab's bzw. gibt's hier immer was Passendes für alle.

War schon mehrmals hier (allerdings in größeren Zeitabständen). Heute mal den Köfte Teller probiert. Die Pommes waren gut, die Köfte leider aufgewärmte Tiefkühlware. Zwar essbar aber natürlich kein Vergleich mit den frisch zubereiteten und gegrillten, die es oft woanders gibt. Beim nächsten Mal gibt's hier wieder Katmer oder Pide, die sind dann besser.

Einer der besten Dönerläden, in dem ich bisher gegessen habe: Leckeres Fleisch, selbstgemachtes Brot. Ich esse eig alles bei euch, meine Frau liebt den Katmer. Ziehen leider bald weg, aber wenn wir hier sind, werden wir definitiv vorbei kommen und bei euch was essen!

ich bin öfter mal in Gonsenheim auf achse und es gibt bei Gott keinen besseren döner in ganz mainz (vllt sogar hessen) dicke kaufempfehlung!!
