The fries were good. In plain English, "I can't complain." I'd go there more often if I didn't live on the other side of Germany.

I ate the garlic fries. The portion was really big, considering I took the normal size. I also thought they tasted delicious and saw that there were other creative dishes with fries on the menu. I took my food as takeaway and had a large box with a wooden fork. Perfect for on the go! My only wish would have been to get ketchup and cheaper than 90 cents.

Vinegar tastes absolutely nothing. I asked if I could please crisp up the fries a bit, but the other guy didn't....

I think the ordering system at the machine is great because it's practical. What's more annoying is the attempt to sell tons of additional offers there (snacks, dips, etc.). I also hate giving tips directly at the machine. The waiting time is usually short. The fries themselves are very good, and totally okay for the price. I haven't tried enough of the poutines yet. In any case, the chicken shawarma was mediocre. Even though I'm a fan of a lot of sauce, somehow it just didn't fit. The currywurst, on the other hand, was much more my thing. And at €7.10, it’s significantly cheaper than, for example, Best Worscht. And another very pragmatic criticism: the forks are simply unsuitable for small things (e.g. pieces of vegetables) because you can neither scoop nor pick them up.

If you want to eat something light when you're hungry before a test, Frittenwerk doesn't necessarily sound like the best choice. But far from it. There are only 2 types of bowls, but the one with chicken was delicious! It's quicker if you order at the terminals. The ambience is also surprisingly cozy. Suggestion for improvement: for guests in the house, avoid the plastic lid or, better yet, just switch to cardboard. Proper dishes are probably not possible due to lack of space. And please separate waste instead of generalized “waste”. Otherwise very entertaining just because of the funny ordering system, which uses names like Kermit or crusty instead of numbers. The employees definitely have fun.

Wow, that was delicious. My favorite is Classic Quebec Poutine. The beautifully presented dishes, such as fries, churros and salads… sweeten the taste. It is also said: The eye eats with you :) For these delicious dishes, the price, quantity, etc. are definitely justified. The staff is very friendly and open to questions, which is also reflected in the great atmosphere. The style is very modern and the seating is beautifully made. Overall you can give this 5 out of 5 stars. Very good !

I had a really delicious avocado falafel bowl there with salad, quinoa, a beetroot sauce... really nice and fresh and crunchy, so much more delicious than I expected. Was the perfect amount for me. And the atmosphere is cozy enough that you forget you're at the train station.

Really really good fast food, which is perfectly priced and fills you up really well. It's just that you sometimes have to wait quite a long time at lunchtime.

The food was okay, but it was rather lukewarm. Every order gets an individual, funny name, which is entertaining. We ordered from the machine and it was clear that the upselling was quite aggressive. A simple order takes three times as long because the machine keeps offering you additional offers - even whole huge portions - that you have to push away first... The prices are then shown in small letters at the bottom. At the end you should also give the machine a tip, please what? So the competition is much less greedy when it comes to their machinery, so I prefer to order from the staff.

Quite okay, but very expensive and when the bowl is only half full you feel a bit ripped off..

The Frittenwerk in Mainz Central Station offers a surprisingly diverse selection of vegetarian options. The vegan cheese alternative in the poutine tastes excellent and the bowls are lovingly prepared. The vegetarian dishes impress not only with their variety, but also with their high quality. A visit is worthwhile for vegetarians as well as for anyone who would like to try something new.

There was a very nice waitress who guided us through the menu. Unfortunately, I deducted 1 star because there was so much sauce that it was drowned.

Great quality fries. Prices reasonable. The churros were delicious. No long waiting times & friendly staff. Really a nice little “excursion spot” if you want to have a quick snack with your child. The only thing that could possibly be improved would be the option of a drinking cup, as drinks in glass bottles are rather difficult for smaller kids. In general, a drink with flavor but without carbonation (a juice or similar) is also missing. We resorted to iced tea, but it was ok too. ;)

Mainz main station, very appealing/inviting atmosphere, very clean, very friendly staff, smooth ordering/completion, each receipt has its own “call-up name”: Funny! Prices seem a bit high at first, but they are absolutely justified. Sweet potato Montreal menu was a very good choice. “Frittenwerk” = recommended.

So let's be honest, no matter which chip factory you go to, at least I was satisfied every time!! The ambience is nice with plants, wood, lighting, really inviting and comfortable and you don't hear anything from the hustle and bustle of the train station!! But if that's not enough, who would have thought??? The food is also super delicious!!! Had a Pink Persia Poutine with sweet potato fries and these damn incredibly good churros with dark chocolate sauce. So if you haven't tried these yet...please please do, they are so good yes Of course the poutine was also simply delicious, just as you know and love it <3 Actually, both just look too beautiful to even eat. A luxury for eyes and mouth!! So I can only recommend this Frittenwerk branch to everyone in Mainz, you won't be disappointed, guaranteed :)

Here you can eat your fries (or something similar) in peace, a little away from the hustle and bustle of the train station. Ordering on the screen is a bit personal. Food is prepared, you pick it up. Each mini extra costs extra. But the food is convincing!

Very tasty fries dishes. Unfortunately, the currywurst had a strange consistency and didn't taste the same as in real currywurst shops. The meal preparation could have been quicker. Which unfortunately wasn't good either, even though it was clear that we were new customers and weren't familiar with the ordering system, we were ignored. We first had to actively ask how ordering works. This worked relatively well at the order terminal.

The furnishings are exceptionally beautiful (wood look). The fries and sauces are always excellent. I have never been disappointed and have never had to wait thanks to the fast and friendly service. I don't really have a favorite because I've tried almost the entire menu before and was impressed by everything. Cost: 6.20-8.20 for the usual dishes

The best potato processor in Mainz. Using a type of 3D printing, these potatoes are fried by hand into French fries. The topping is great and varied.

Frittenwerk in Mainz is great, unfortunately I go there far too often, sometimes several times a week, because the fries are just so delicious and at the same time cheap and filling. However, sometimes the radio is annoying when you eat there because it is too loud. Staff are always very nice, there is nothing to complain about.

Very disappointing! The staff is absolutely rude and seems to have no idea how to do their job. I had to wait far too long for my fries even though there was hardly anything going on. Never again.

The fries are good, a bit small portions for the price. What I don't like is the amount of rubbish that is thrown at me when I eat on site. Disposable wooden fork and a huge cardboard bowl, for example. It's also unpleasant to be asked for a review. With even more trash in the form of a cardboard card.

You can order on site either at the counter or at a terminal. The portions are relatively large but not exactly cheap at almost 9 euros for a portion of fries. The taste is good. It would be good if the food was available somewhere when it was called out. If you sit in the back you can't always hear it and because music is always playing it's not always easy to hear what's being called out.

Clearly, there are fries here. Basically three basic variations, house, garlic and sweet potato and then with a dip or topping of your choice. A really good selection for vegans, from vegan mayo to gaucho mole to vegan chili cheese. Prices are rather moderate and the atmosphere is nice with photo wallpaper and real moss on the walls. Of course a bit limited because it's in the train station, but it's easy to reach and certainly good for a quick snack when you're on the go. Ordering at the terminal is easy to do intuitively, even for oldies.

I got food here twice to go, since I was staying in a hotel nearby. You order and pay at a self-serve kiosk, then wait for your food. It came out fairly fast. I ordered the original, I think. It was your basic fries with gravy and cheese curds. Maybe it was called the Montreal? I can’t remember for sure. Whatever it’s called, it tasted delicious. I especially loved the flavor of the gravy.

I can't think of a better place to eat fries. No matter which branch: it is always clean. The costs are sometimes high, so unfortunately I can't eat there every day. Maybe a customer campaign would be cool. At 10* order, maybe a portion of free fries. Then I would have more motivation to spend my money.
