Today we got a taxi plate and gyro pita bread. The gyro was so disgustingly salty that we couldn't eat it, and the tzatziki isn't what it used to be; it's now more of a liquid sauce. The Metaxa sauce tastes like Maggi, and the champignon cream sauce tastes like broth. Unfortunately, we'll be getting food from somewhere else soon.

Simply disappointing! Order placed on October 13, 2025, at 6:26 PM via Lieferando for 8:00 PM. At 7:37 PM, an unknown number calls – no message. At 8:10 PM, I call myself and hear: "We don't know you." I've been a regular customer for years, but this kind of behavior is disrespectful. The customer pays on time, and that would have been a meal costing over €50, and then they treat me like I'm a nuisance. Never again!!

No, I would have given it a ton of minus stars. The food was disgusting, the service was unfriendly, and the place was also completely unclean. Customers' leftover food was piled up in front of and on the service counter.

So if such cult stalls serve such food, it's no wonder they close. It's a culinary fiasco, and the sausage is worse than that of a discount store. At least it looks good inside, but it's not enough to run a successful restaurant. Not recommended.

Very friendly staff, fulfilling every wish, delicious food and a wide selection at great prices. We feel like Stachis Dorfgrill has always been there, and we've been picking up something delicious every now and then for several years now 😋. The parking situation isn't so great, though.

I've been eating here every now and then for decades. Crispy fries, spicy currywurst, and, to my taste, perfect grilled chicken.

Fries, gyros, knuckles, ribs or grilled chicken, here everything always tastes like it should at a good chip shop.

Ordered there one last time today. I ordered at 7:30 PM, and according to the info, it was supposed to arrive at 8:39 PM. It arrived at 9:50 PM, but it was cold. The driver wasn't at all interested, unfortunately, I paid in advance with PayPal. All in all, a disaster.

I was there last night and ordered a taxi platter, and my girlfriend ordered a gyro called Zeller. It wasn't cooked well, and the staff at the counter were very unfriendly and rude. Never again...

Ordered 3 cheeseburgers and 1 chili cheeseburger. Got 4 identical burgers without chili, but with tomato, lettuce mix, and corn. (Addendum: one burger also had kidney beans on it.) In what universe are corn and kidney beans on a cheeseburger? There was also sweet chili sauce on all 4 burgers. So, it was a mixed bag from the kitchen, maybe that needed to go.... I tried calling for 15 minutes, but no one answered, and there was no call back. I requested a refund through Lieferando.

Everything was okay, tasted good, but very expensive. We ordered currywurst with fries, a small salad, and a small Fanta, and half a chicken with fries and mayonnaise, plus a small salad, and paid €27. Prices were the same as in a restaurant.

Very unfriendly, rude employee, an older Polish lady in her mid-60s with black hair and glasses ordered half a chicken. I saw her use tongs to place the chicken on the plate. Before that, she used tongs to serve gyro pork to a customer. I asked her why she used the tongs, no apology, really unfriendly, and put the chicken back in the chicken counter. I don't recommend Muslim people eat there, I will never eat there again. I haven't experienced anything so unfriendly in a long time. I've been going there for years and I will never go again.

The fries were OK, the currywurst was okay...

I ordered a gyro plate today, which was unfortunately inedible. The fries were soggy and mushy, and the meat was over-seasoned and dry, making it inedible. It's a shame, and for €12, I'm considering avoiding this place...

Has decreased significantly. Pay for 400 grams of ribs, previously 500 grams. Reweighed at home.. 311 grams! So you are still being cheated here. Expensive and quality has become poor.

The building is a bit dated, but the food is fantastic, the selection is very large, the portion sizes are generous, and the staff is incredibly friendly. We'd love to come back.

The prices are definitely too high: currywurst costs €4, fries €3 without sauce, etc. The service is very nice and friendly, and while the food is tasty, it's cheap. I'd guess that a currywurst costs about 30 cents. You used to be able to eat well there at normal prices, but today it's simply too expensive, and the portions have gotten smaller. I'd rather prepare my own food!

Never again, the frozen schnitzel was simply disgusting. The meatball was very dry and consisted almost entirely of breadcrumbs. I wouldn't even buy my kids a French fry. And then at prices where you'd think it must be good. A schnitzel for 13.50, I can definitely expect something!! People, try the Tempel in Dortmund. Then you'll taste the difference. Everything is fresh and at a really good price. Everything is fresh, the schnitzel is even breaded in-house. No frozen schnitzel for the same price, if not less than 13.50. I don't know what kind of broken home one must come from to find this service friendly. I'm a regular there and always leave a small tip. Today, it was obviously too little for the lady. I wanted to round up the price, but she threw me the change with the words, "No, take your change." Nice. And that for a portion of rancid fries. 300 meters away, they have the same thing, fresh and friendly. Never again.

The last meal...... Fresh ribs every hour?!! Well..... It's clear that these can't be made fresh every hour...... But fart dry, smell and taste disgusting... Went straight into the trash...... The Kids Box....... Fries ok and the nuggets sticks hard...... All in all bad...... If you only cook from the bag and with ready meals, then at least make an effort and buy sensible products...... Kids menu with 3 nuggets, some fries and a type of Capri-Sun €7, even the sauce cost 80 cents extra. The half chicken was also better. Real disappointment. Unfortunately I won't go there again.

Best snack bar in the Dorstfeld area. The food is good, nothing is old or cold. The ladies behind the counter are always friendly and always try to get the order through correctly. Was always treated well by the ladies. Go and enjoy it.

Have been there many times! Unfortunately it got worse every time... We are sorry but we will no longer come to Stachi's from outside Dortmund. The prices are already steep for a snack and the quality of the food has declined. The staff is very friendly, but it can't make up for the cold there.

The rating does not apply to the taste of the food! We have often ordered from Stachi's Dorfgrill because they simply have great, delicious food with a large selection. This complaint is solely directed at the staff and handling of the situation of our order. We ordered at 5:25 p.m At 5:32 p.m. the control call came due to the large order of €83.30. According to Lieferando, our order should arrive at 6:45 p.m. I called at 7:45 p.m. to find out when our order would arrive. When I said no that I didn't want to "kid" the good lady, our order was finally sent out. So our food was at least 1 hour before it moved in our direction. When it arrived at 8:02 p.m., the nice driver also apologized, but he also admitted that he had overlooked our order and only came back to it an hour later, after we called. We come from the catering industry ourselves and know that mistakes like this can happen, but then the order is remade and the order that is hours old is not sent out in the hope that it's okay. We paid 90€. In addition to the food that was ready to be served at the pass for at least 1 hour, there were 3x freshly made fries, 1l of Cola and 0.33 can of Cola Zero. Which didn't make the other dishes any fresher. The mango vanilla cake, the otherwise very delicious dessert that my partner was so looking forward to, was lost and probably had its best times until it reached our plate 2.5 hours ago. We have ordered from you many times but delivering an order for €83.30 that takes a minimum of 1 hour is unreasonable.

We ordered gyros with fries. Gyros were mostly very crispy or burnt and, well, seemed more like chopped roast pork. Fries were the only good thing. We also had spare ribs and a pizza tonno. Spare ribs were pretty dry, you could eat them, but they just weren't really that good. The Tonno pizza smelled quite strange and had a sour taste. My partner stopped eating after a few bites because it was simply unreasonable. Likewise, he felt pretty bad after those few bites. We suspect that the cheese was no longer good. We definitely wouldn't order again. The price-performance ratio would be fundamentally appropriate. But the performance is simply not convincing at all. Not a great dining experience.

My husband ordered a taxi plate and bit on a huge piece of plastic. The food itself was great as always but the plastic thing doesn't work at all...

Typical Ruhrpottimbiss. One of very few that offer ribs or chicken. Taste wise a 1.

We were regular customers there for years. But now the staff has become really rude. And if you order at 8:45 p.m. you say you'll be off work at 9 p.m. Then you should also please change this in lieferando !!!or cannot deliver. But if you can deliver take 1€ delivery fee. Often the salad or the schnitzel with sauce wasn't closed properly (which isn't a bad thing for me).

I have been very satisfied in all my visits to Stachis. Food is super delicious. The quantity is right. You'll get full here. Favorite dish taxi plate. The girls are doing a really good job. The price is right too. Place is clean. I always enjoy eating at Stachis.

My mom came to visit me from South America and I took her here to show her what true local fast food is like in Germany. We ordered the Stachi's Teller and a Metaxa Baked Cheese Schnitzel. We were very happy with the flavor, serving size and price. The personnel were a bit rushed but this makes sense since it's a small place and they're constantly getting orders. I can see why! The bathroom was also not the tidiest, as one may imagine. But if you can look past these minor issues, it's a great place to enjoy some German fast food classics.

This is a disaster shop. The chicken is not fried at all and half of it is raw and you get burnt, disgusting, greasy fries. And the waitress is a very mean employee. Insults and threats are very welcome here.

Opening hours are 10:00 p.m.!! If you arrive at a quarter past 9 you will be shouted at. The health department will be informed that there are flies hanging on the ceiling, the metal is full of grease, something like that doesn't work, service is ZERO!!!!

After a recommendation from my best friend, I went to Stachi's Dorfgrill yesterday with my two best friends and we were completely satisfied. I had gyros with Bernaise sauce and cheese gratin and fries and the dish was more than great :). We'll definitely be back.

Unfortunately, the village grill has massively declined. We got fries, half chicken and a kids box. The fries looked and tasted like ancient fat. The kids box was missing 1. the Capri Sun and 2. the lollipop. However, we only noticed this when we got home. Too bad...

Disappointing service and unfair pricing. I was really disappointed with my visit here. I had ordered a currywurst menu with a drink, which according to the menu cost €8. Instead, I ended up having to pay €11.50 just because I chose Metaxa sauce instead of mayo. When I brought this up, it was explained to me that by choosing Metaxa sauce I would no longer be entitled to the menu offer. This explanation may be formally correct, but it is neither comprehensible nor proportionate. A €3.50 surcharge just for a different sauce is just completely excessive and doesn't seem customer-oriented at all. I would have expected that there would at least be an accommodating response, but that wasn't the case here. Unfortunately, the quality wasn't convincing either. The sauce and sausage didn't taste particularly good, and the excessive amount of sauce made the whole thing more of a mess. A clear reason for me not to come here anymore. Too bad!

Two meatballs and a large french fry with ketchup (€0.70), for a whopping €11.20, and as already described here, the already fried fries were fried again, meatballs were warmed up in the pizza oven without a plate, i.e. directly on it Pizza stone, but they didn't get really warm either. Why two points and not just one, at least the meatballs were homemade. Will I go there again, clearly, no.

I liked going there once... but the two women were overwhelmed because there was a lot to do... there was a new cash register and nothing was running anymore... and the food used to be much better...

Food isn't really commensurate with the price and you're kindly given your gyros wrapped in burnt bread. If you take the food with you, you can't really complain straight away, can you? A third of the fries were the hard orange leftovers that had been fried who knows how many times. Ribs were half dry. The part that wasn't dried out tasted okay.

Well, it's no longer what Stachis used to be. We've known about it for years, it was good back then and in recent years there was always something that bothered me. Nevertheless, I continued to try it out from time to time, once more regularly, now less often, but always gave it a chance. The menu is diverse and well-intentioned. The staff are louder than the guests, the tone is sometimes harsh, but they have a lot of fun together. What I dislike is that the toilet door is often left open and the view from there and vice versa is not always so pleasant. Sometimes a waitress has a finger in her ear rather than on her ear because it probably itches, sometimes the cutlery is dirty, anything can happen, even somewhere else, but a word of regret can't hurt, fries are great, the sausage is suspiciously cut like a garland, sometimes three pieces lined up in a row and not cut properly. The staff certainly have their hearts in the right place and many have been working there for years. The loud chatter and the not always so exciting choice of words has finally persuaded me not to order anything there anymore.

Lieferung dauerte 90 Minuten. Gesagt wurde Max 50 Minuten. Das Essen wurde in ganz Dortmund rumgefahren bis es dann endlich zu mir kam! Bei Nachfrage wurde die Damen laut und frech! Ich legte auf und bekam dann einen Anrufe von einer privaten Handynummer. Wieder der Dorfgrill der mich belehren wollte. Dame am Telefon wurde wieder laut, ich legt auf! Freundlichkeit und das Essen gebe ich ganz klar die Note 6!

Ich finde dieses Restaurant echt mies. Unfreundlich,hochnäsig. Am schreien wenn man anruft das bei der Bestellung was falsch war.. Bestelle definitiv nicht mehr dort!!

I come from Herne, but a visit to Stachis is always worth it, the food and service is great and super nice, a really good Ruhrpott snack bar as it is, I don't come regularly, but the visit is always worth it, that The food is fantastic, my favorite are the ribs and the knuckles, but also the chicken and the gyros are really fantastic, and I'm not just saying that. If you want to eat well, the Dorfgrill in Dorstfeld is the right place for you. 5 stars are actually not enough, you get 100 points from me. See you soon

Once and never again. The ribs smell like spoiled meat and taste like it too. They ended up in the trash can. Schnitzel wasn't tasty either and the salad portion is a joke. The waitress in a dirty T-shirt and with greasy hair. Disgusting. Never again.

My opinion is that this store is very good! The food is BOMBASTIC and my family was very impressed too. It is also very air conditioned and clean there. It smells a lot like food but there are also a few outside tables. The workers are very polite and friendly and know how to serve their customers

We ordered food for delivery via Lieferando. We were very shocked with a stated delivery time of 1.5 hours, although it says 30-50 minutes. After waiting for almost 2 hours, we called to be told our food was being prepared NOW. We've been waiting for our food for over 2 hours now. NOT recommended!!! Better to drive there and pick it up

The food was delicious as always. The staff is very nice and friendly. I've been eating at Stachis for many years, for me it's the best chip shop in Dortmund. You especially have to try the half chicken with fries :)

You can like it or not. My conclusion: I'd rather go somewhere else. Once and never again. The sauce tasted like pure sugar (gypsy sauce). The salad was as big as a matchbox. The schnitzels weren't my thing either. Everything tasted like oil. Regarding service, very chaotic. The tables outside, not clean. The prices are too high for what you get.
