Nice salad bowl with turkey. Good service.

A restaurant with a terrace on the street near Sendlinger Tor. The order was taken fairly quickly and the food was served about 20 minutes later. I could have given 5 stars but... the food was cold and that's why it lost its taste. The ambience well, on a crowded street there is actually no ambience. Will we eat here again? No, I don't believe it. Today it rained heavily and the ambience was spoiled even worse.

The food was extremely tasty, unfortunately just a bit expensive for a small portion. Unfortunately, the employees were so overwhelmed that you had to wait forever until you got your food or were allowed to pay.

The only thing this restaurant has got right is their location. This place should pay you too eat their food, it’s has no seasoning, soggy schnitzels and poor flavour combinations (cannot even make a good side salad dressing) their menu is dominated with overpriced junk. The Customer service is almost as bad as the food but considering this is the worst restaurant I have visited 15 years not quite. I am certain the only good reviews here are friends and people with vested business interest. Visit at your own risk !

Good taste, food can be shared. No need to order the main dish for the number of people. Good service, has a bathroom But you have to go down the stairs to the basement. It may be inconvenient for the elderly.

Very high prices, and you order something 15 minutes before loading or were not told to do it straight away, and were therefore rushed off with the 6€ cola and 1 scoop of ice cream with a biscuit for 4.50€. I have never experienced such unfriendly waiters!

Something hidden next to Saturn in the basement. Everything was great there. Not the most modern, but super fitting! No cobwebs or anything. The food was delicious, great for the price and the portions were enough to fill me up even as a heavy eater. The waiter Nujic was super friendly and attentive. All in all highly recommended! We wanted to sit inside to avoid smokers but were told to sit outside. Yet when I went to WC, there were some people sitting inside! first choice cannelloni was out. Order another tagliatelle and tortellini. Both were just ok. I tried to pick a table away from smokers and out of the sun. Was not successful. Not a good experience smelling cig smoke while trying to eat! When paying was told “cash” … what? That would have been nice to know in advance! Luckily we had the cash.

Restaurant down in the basement and a beer garden up in the pedestrian zone

The store is an absolute joke. There were three of us today at around 6 p.m. because the beer garden was half full and yet a slightly older, more permanent waiter told us that unfortunately he couldn't serve us because he had so much business in the evening. Yes, then please throw us out. We'll happily go somewhere else. I won't be coming back again.

Food great, pay catastrophe We had a really tasty meal and then wanted to pay - with a card. That was problematic. The card payment didn't work. However, this was nowhere signposted or communicated. Then the waiter sent us to different ATMs to withdraw cash. Some of the machines were inaccessible due to construction sites or did not accept our cards. Run back and forth for 30 minutes. In the end, a working card machine was pulled out with which we were able to successfully pay for everything in 2 minutes. Unfortunately, it wasn't a perfect evening for us.

Sometimes like that...no stable food quality! I went there for dinner once with friends, the food was perfect, the service was top and friendly. A second time, 1 month later... the food was ok, the service was a bit olala, not so friendly. I went back a third time...unfortunately it was the last time. You can get something nicer and juicier elsewhere for the price. So Bavarian food couldn't be drier...it was extremely dry and cold and not at all tasty. The service is completely unfriendly and speaks Italian (I don't think it's appropriate to communicate with customers in Italian in a Bavarian restaurant, even if they're just small words like prego, etc.). Why not say thank you and please? Unfortunately, the national culture has disappeared... Conclusion: It would be very nice if restaurants kept the quality of their food and service stable. On the other hand, customers leave because of disappointment. I'll never come there again and won't recommend it to any friends.

As someone who comes from Swabia and is therefore familiar with the tradition of breaded schnitzels, I was disappointed to find that the Jägerschnitzel was not breaded. For me personally, the breading is simply part of the schnitzel and I expected that when I ordered it. I think that a non-breaded schnitzel doesn't deserve the name "schnitzel". It would be helpful if this was communicated more clearly in the menu to avoid misunderstandings.

Schnitzel was fried and oily. Soup was more of a broth. Given the prices, I would have at least expected good home cooking.

The waiter was very nice and the food was served quickly. Unfortunately the portions were tiny. The asparagus schnitzel came with 2 sticks of asparagus. We didn't get full, which is a shame at €20 per meal. I would have expected more from the name “Schnitzel Wirt”. The taste was okay, but unfortunately not anymore.

A tourist trap, of course. However, try it out and you never know. To eat: Went there as a group and had different schnitzels. We finally went to the Schnitzelwirt. Really none of the cream schnitzel to the original Viennese schnitzel deserve the name schnitzel. Breading is much too thick and the same applies to the meat. Please remove the name Schnitzel from your name. This is really misleading. Fillings partly okay. But the fries really weren't to my taste at all. I'm just not into old fat. The tasteless spaetzle was more than irritating. The sauce was almost a highlight, although not good. About the service: The waiter said he was a joker. A matter of taste. When it came time to pay, we would have liked to have had separate bills. The only thing that came to mind was look at what's going on here. Do it yourself. Well, I say a busy restaurant looks different. After we sorted everything out with the cash, since some of them only had an EC card with them, the money was quickly picked up and the excess was naturally taken as a tip. Conclusion: I would never eat here again and hope I don't have to.

I ate with you with my husband and dog (very tasty! Recommended!) Our waiter Aron was super attentive, quick and even brought water for our dog without being asked. There was even time for a short, very nice conversation. I admire service staff who manage to remain friendly under such stress.

Had lunch at the Schnitzelwirt yesterday and my expectations were exceeded! The waiter (Aaron) was very friendly and I have to say I have rarely felt so comfortable and looked after! Food TOP, waiter TOP, we'll be back!

I recently went to the Schnitzelwirt with my boyfriend on the occasion of my birthday. I have rarely received such good and friendly service. Our waiter named Aron looked after us so kindly and was always there when we wanted something. The drinks were particularly good. Definitely 5 stars for service and food. We would like to come again!! :-)

Our waiter was very friendly, but the waiter at the next table was very rude. Statements like "we are a restaurant, not a café", "the table is for 4 guests to eat and not for one to drink".."we are not at McDonald's here" were the standard wording towards guests 😮‍💨 .. good staff is really hard to come by..

Schnitzel was ok, the potatoes were the wrong type, and the price seemed high (though maybe veal is generally expensive). The waiter was very pushy about a tip despite doing the bare minimum of his actual job.

The drinks were good (Aperol and Hugo). The food was lukewarm and tasted like it had been frozen and thawed. The service was disinterested. The restaurant itself didn't seem lovingly furnished and looked run down. You should have guessed what you were getting into when half the store was empty on a Friday evening.

I ate here twice with my mother on our trip to Munich. The food was really delicious, the service staff were extremely friendly and the restaurant was comfortably furnished. I'm definitely looking forward to the next time! 🥰

Was visiting the Schnitzelwirt again after a long time. The food was ok. Unfortunately, the broth in the Bezen soup was only warm and not hot. The main course, Braumeisterschnitzel with fried potatoes, was also ok. I think it's a shame that the prices have risen a lot since my last visit here. The service staff was friendly and correct.

Six of us were there for dinner. The ambience is not very appealing (department store atmosphere without daylight). The Wiener Schnitzel was okay, but the fries were subpar. The prices are unreasonably high for this simple restaurant (beer €6.20). The service wasn't very attentive and at 10 a.m. we were more or less escorted out.

The entrance to the Schnitzelwirt is somewhat hidden in Munich's pedestrian zone, but a visit there is definitely worth it. Not only was the service great, quick and friendly, the food was also a 10/10. We'd love to come back!

“Viennese style” schnitzels are as thick as normal schnitzels. A Viennese-style schnitzel is usually thin. The breading was soggy and the fries weren't crispy either. It's a shame we expected more.

Lovely place in a pedestrian street! We were not feeling very good, so we ordered two very delicious german soups. You won't regret it! We had liver dumpling soup and soup pot.

Das Essen war gut, leider nicht alle Essen warm. Die Preise sind schon recht teuer. Der Service war freundlich und umsichtig. Das Lokal wirkt etwas abgenutzt.

Второго декабря 23-го года, как раз во время жуткого снегопада в Мюнхене и полного колапса с транспортом находился с женой в этом славном городе. Погуляв и проголодавшись, решили зайти в данное заведение, позавтракать и пообедать заодно (было где-то 11-30 дня). Кормят и обслуживают посредственно. Цены туристические. Химический немецкий суп с печёночной котлетой подали без хлеба, хотя в меню есть строка - экстра хлеб 2 евро за 2 кусочка. Тоесть, если есть экстра, то должен быть и положенный, но его не было. На второе брал сосиски с квашеной капустой и хреном (стандартно, не АХ!). Попросили "tap water", это обычная фильтрованная вода в графине из под крана, на что официант ответил - "у нас нет, я же не могу налить вам воду из туалета". А на мой суп ты откуда воду наливал? Заказали бутылку воды в стекле - 0,33 мл стоит 4,20 евро. Вообщем вышли оттуда, а чувства сытости и приятного послевкусия не наблюдалось. Серое какое-то всё. Вот такая история у меня случилась с этим аля рестораном.

Super leckere Schnitzel, für Münchner Innenstadt auch humane Preise aber wenn man ins Restaurant drinnen möchte, ist der Zugang nicht barrierefrei, da man da nur über Treppen nach unten hinkommt, deswegen 1Stern abzug...

Schnitzelwirt? Eher Mid-tzelwirt. Denn Mid waren leider alle Sachen die wir bestellten. Das Kalbsschnitzel war leider sehr zäh und geschmacklos, die Bratkartoffeln haben fertig geschmeckt, und waren ebenfalls ungewürzt. Die Bedienung war in Ordnung und freundlich. Sehr schade, bei einem Preis von 25€+ pro Kopf hätte ich wirklich mehr erwartet.

A 2nd favourite in Munich for Schnitzel- the taste was amazing, it just left me wanting more on my plate. They have really good variety on the menu, atleast 3-4schnitzel options. Not all of them are breaded/fried like the standard schnitzel so make sure to read the description (English menu is also available). We had the braumeisterschnitzel and schmarkerteller (I may have spelt them incorrectly). While the schnitzel seemed small on the plate it was quite filling. It was very well cooked and seasoned. It would have been nice to have more schnitzel and lesser potatoes but no complaints :) They also have a very big indoor seating area for the cold winters.
