Wir haben das türkische Lokal über das Internet gefunden und wussten nicht, ob unser Freund mit seinem Rollstuhl wohl auch guten Zugang ins Lokal hat. Ja - uns sogar in den behaglichen Innenhof! Wir wurden von einer Dame freundlich und verständnisvoll über den einfachsten Zugang geführt und professionell bedient. Das Personal war aufmerksam, freundlich und half in der Beratung der Auswahl des Menues. Die Menue Karte ist vielfältig und das Essen kommt in grosszügigen Portionen. Es war ein schöner und angenehmer Abend in einem Lokal, wo man sich richtig wohl fühlt. Im Gegensatz zu früheren Beurteilungen hier, haben wir das Personal höflich und auch mit gutem Humor erlebt - das Lokal können wir nur empfehlen !

The restaurant really has everything you could ask for - from great food to friendly service to a cool ambience! Rumeli is a real insider tip! Very tasty restaurant, although much of it was in Turkish. When we asked the waitress what all the dishes meant, we only got an answer in Turkish, which unfortunately didn't help us at all. The dishes are very tasty but also quite expensive, but still worth a visit. The flatbread is served warm and tastes very good with all the dips and sauces

I was just recently at Rumeli and I have to say: I really like to praise when the service is good, attentive and always has a smile on your face. Thanks to the waitress for a great evening. And the food was very, very tasty. Both were more than true today. Fine, upscale cuisine, ingenious starters and a chef who knows his craft. As a starter I recommend warm hummus with Turkish ham, And the shrimp with the hot Garlic bread. Quality and price are absolutely consistent. Gladly again....❤

One needs the teeth of a shark to be able to chew the meat. Almost everything was either overcooked or undercooked. Such a disappointment. The only good thing was the staff but that's not a good enough reason to go to a restaurant. Avoid!

Don't let the direct location on Landsberger Str. put you off. You can sit outside in peace and quiet in the cozy courtyard! We've been there a few times and the food was really delicious. The waiters are all very attentive and super nice! We always feel super comfortable and welcome here. Unreservedly recommended! We'll definitely be back there soon ❤️

We went to Munich for my son's post-wedding dinner. Very nice menu. A nice seating area. It was especially admirable that the waiter brought what 20 people wanted without any surprises, without taking notes. I advise.

A beautiful restaurant, beautiful food, best quality, nice staff

I recently went to Restaurant Rumeli and am very disappointed. The waitress was disrespectful and made fun of our orders. We weren't taken seriously. The description on the menu did not match the food served. Even after asking, something different came up. In addition, the food was lukewarm and tasteless. The ambience was appealing, but unfortunately that didn't make up for the poor service and disappointing food. I will not come back and cannot recommend the restaurant.

Stylisches Restaurant, gutes Essen, ABER: unprofessionelle und unfreundliche Kellner, die uns den Abend verdorben haben. Die Vorspeisen (Suppe und Meze) wurden nach dem Hauptgericht serviert und bei Nachfrage teilte uns der Kellner mit, dass das in der Küche nicht anders möglich wäre. Dann wollten wir Brot zum Essen, dieses wurde nach mehrmaligen Nachfragen und Augenrollen der Kellner nach unserem Essen serviert. Leider nicht zu empfehlen

We were here on my birthday and ordered various meze with pita bread. These were all very tasty and the quantities were also good. We couldn't finish it all so we took the rest home with us. Actually, you don't need a main course at all, 2-3 different meze together with bread tastes great, is varied, and is very filling. Most meze are also vegetarian, some even vegan, so there is something for everyone here. The soufflé for dessert was very tasty, and we also got Çay on the house at the end. The service was very friendly and the ambience is also good. I will definitely eat here again in the future and can only recommend it.

Wir wollten die Goldene Hochzeit von meinen Eltern feiern. Deshalb haben wir dort für 5 Personen einen Tisch reserviert. Der Tisch war klein (eher für 4 Personen). Das Essen war okay. Wir hatten auch eine kleine Torte dabei, weil im Restaurant nur Baklava und Sütlüac also Dessert in kleinen Schalen gab. Als wir die Torte aufschneiden wollten, sagten die uns, dass sie pro Person "Tellergebühr in Höhe von 3 Euro pro Person" verlangen. Ich fand das sehr unseriös. Hätten wir dort "nur" Torte gegessen, würde ich es verstehen. Aber wir haben soviel gegessen und mussten dann noch leere Tellergebühren bezahlen.

As a Turkish woman, this is the only Turkish restaurant I go to. I've been there 3 times over a long period of time and can recommend it with a clear conscience. The portions have become smaller, but you still get full. The first time we had a hard time eating it all because it was difficult to eat the starter. The ambience is very nice, especially clean. In the summer I find the terrace very, very pleasant, even though it is right on a main street, it is very, very quiet.

The Rumeli restaurant in Munich offers a wonderful culinary journey through Turkish cuisine. As a family from Switzerland, we enjoyed the delicious Adana skewers and the Adana Iskender. The selection of desserts such as the chocolate soufflé and künefe were a real treat. The service, especially Gülsüm, was extremely attentive and friendly. The atmosphere was inviting and very well maintained. Overall, our visit to Rumeli was a completely successful culinary experience.

My friends and I were there for iftar. We ordered our food half an hour before and others who came after us got their food earlier. We were the last ones and got our food 45 minutes later. At the end we wanted to pay and everyone was expected to tip even though we didn't want to give one. From 3 it was taken just like that. The woman looked at us askance and laughed at us and she was very unfriendly and threw us the money without looking at us. Never again in our lives and we were even there for Iftar.

I would prefer not to give a star at all! We ordered at 6 p.m. and the food didn't come until around 7:30 p.m. After 1 1/2 hours you weren't hungry anymore. Unfortunately the food didn't taste good at all, given the prices you would expect a little more. (didn't even have a main course and was already almost 20€)

We wanted to enter a nice place and enjoy it, the ambience is nice🤷🏻‍♀️the visuals of the food on the plates are wonderful... The food was cold, the rice was mushy, I missed the taste of salt, the bone coming out of the meat, the pain I felt in my teeth, and the food made me lose my appetite 👎 interesting answer from the head waiter 🤦🏻♀️ From saying "we can have neck meat" 😠 to saying "we are busy because of Ramadan" I haven't been this disappointed at a table in a long time.

I went to Rumeli Restaurant for lunch. Izgara Köfte and Meze plates tasted very good. This was the best Turkish cuisine I tried in Munich. The furnishings as well as the food and the service were top notch. Definitely recommendable.

Unfortunately, I wouldn't visit the restaurant a second time. The food has nothing to do with Turkish. The chicken wasn't cooked through, the rice was dry and cold, and there were vegetables that were cooked in water and served (without spices, salt, etc.). The dessert was also inedible, although we had it packed up and had the sight of it afterwards (see photo). Price-performance is not given because the performance cannot be evaluated.

The restaurant is nicely decorated and cozy... When it came to the dishes, I unfortunately found that only the starters had anything to do with Turkish cuisine... The Adana Kepab didn't pick me up and, if you've ever been to Turkey and eaten there, it had nothing to do with it.. Unfortunately the entire variety of spices was missing... Also, one of the most expensive dishes, the octopus, was served lukewarm, almost cold. This was offered with spinach, but it was more inedible stems than spinach... The service is variable in mood, we also missed a thank you for the tip. There were 5 of us eating there and we left €270 without a tip, with the tip rounded up to €300. Once and never again

So I'll start with the positive. The ambience was very nice, the furnishings were elegant and there was a very pleasant atmosphere in this restaurant. But unfortunately the service was really catastrophic. Apart from the fact that we reserved a place at 6:30 p.m. and got there on time, we waited 20 minutes until we could order and then waited another hour for the food to arrive. I understand something different by good service. The waiter was in a bad mood for whatever reason, probably stressed because the team there is simply understaffed. Please hire more staff, it would be a shame for this beautiful restaurant!!

There were 8 of us. Each of us was thrilled. We only ordered meze, they were all delicious. Unfortunately there are no parking spaces available, but there is a parking garage just around the corner. A very nice and upscale atmosphere and very nice furnishings. The starters are really very good, it's just a shame that there is no mixed starter plate, as it unfortunately gets expensive with individual types of starter and you would actually try more. The main courses are also quite good.

We weren't the only ones who waited 50-60 minutes for their food. Too expensive, relative. little meat. Rice is absolutely cheeky 2 spoons as if it were so expensive. Customers are attracted by the beautiful location. Most people probably only come once.

The fish was fresh and grilled just right for me, especially the salmon! Next time I'll use meat, which my friends also seem to be very tasty. Now the staff, we had the youngest waiter, he was very attentive, friendly and polite! Everything was good but not perfect. Food tasted good but didn’t taste authentic like other turkish places, maybe different spices could have been added. I also expected sauces to be served with main course plates, but you can to order them if you want. The starters were very delicious. Service was very good but a bit slow but not frustrating.

Waren gestern zum Geburtstag zum ersten Mal im Rumeli, weil es uns empfohlen wurde. Ich kann das nur bestätigen, mit Abstand das beste türkische Restaurant in München! Wir wurden freundlich begrüßt, das Ambiente war sehr ansprechend und das Personal wirklich sehr zuvorkommend. Wir hatten diverse Meze mit Knoblauch- und Gewürzbrot, sowie zwei leckere Desserts am Ende. Das ganze Essen war ein wahrer Genuss, und qualitativ einwandfrei. Alles wurde frisch gemacht und mega toll zubereitet. Hier werden wir sicherlich noch einige Male einkehren!

WOW. Mehr kann man eigentlich nicht dazu sagen. Das Essen ist wirklich unglaublich gut. Tolle Gewürze, geniale Vorspeisen und Suppen. Ambiente perfekt. Immer wieder gern!!

Durch die Kommentare haben wir "Rumeli" gewählt aber leider war die Hoffnung zu groß. Das Restaurant an sich war sehr schön, das Essen auch lecker. Uns bediente der Chef. Aber das Versprechen von ihm wurde nicht eingehalten.. Die türkische Tradition ist eine vielfältige, vorallem dass neben dem Meze, Brot ohne Zuzahlung dazu serviert wird. Bei der Bezahlung haben wir festgestellt, das es mit angerechnet worden ist. Das Essen kam 1 1/2 Stunden später. Für die Abrechnung kam der Chef nicht, was ich auch nicht so Respektvoll fand. Ich hoffe, dass bisschen Mühe für die Verbesserung gegeben wird, damit wir nochmal für ein Familientreff kommen können!

Freundlich wird man hier empfangen, höflich begrüßt und zum Platz geführt. Schönes Gefühl weil man als Gast behandelt wird. Ein gemütliches Restaurant mit einer netten Atmosphäre und gutes Licht … Auf bequeme Stühle wurde hier geachtet !!! Wir haben nur ein kleines Teil von der Speisekarte bestellt und waren überwältigt von köstlichen Speisen die uns Urlaubsgefühle geweckt haben. Einfach köstlich 😊 Getränke / Weinkarte ist gut sortiert und preislich human . Für Vegetarier und Veganer ist dieses Restaurant eine sehr gute Adresse … Werde ganz sicher öfter im Rumeli essen und feiern . Sehr gut geeignet für Gruppen oder Familienveranstaltungen, da im Restaurant und auf der Terrasse genug Platz vorhanden ist . Sehr elegant und hochwertiges Ambiete mit einem Hauch von 1001 und einer Nacht. Sehr gut abgestimmte Elemente und Dekorationen, welche das Restaurant abrunden. Zu den Parkplätzen: parken gestaltet sich etwas schwierig. Und ist zu den öffentlichen ausgeschilderten Preisen möglich. Zum Essen: türkische traditionelle Mezze (Vorspeisen Teller) und auch zahlreiche Gerichte vorhanden. Weiterempfehlung; ja!

Tolle Meze und die Lage ist sehr gut da mit der S-Bahn gut erreichbar. Vor allem vegane und vegetarische Meze waren toll, für den großen Hunger gibt es auch genügend Hauptspeisen zur Auswahl. Kommen bestimmt mal wieder.
