It's an unusual and very beautiful spot by the water. If you're lucky, you can even admire the sunset. The service is friendly and the prices are reasonable. A lovely destination for a bike ride!

Great atmosphere! Very nice location. A bit like being on vacation. Attentive service. Drinks and food were served promptly. I had a "Strammer Max" (a type of fried egg), which was very tasty. Special requests, such as a well-cooked fried egg, were accommodated.

Here you can dine right by the water. A small restaurant by the harbor with a good selection. Very friendly service staff, delicious food 😋 in a different setting. A reservation is essential. Just had another meal at Smokey Island. This time it was completely different. The staff were friendly but were available upon request. For the meal, we chose a recommendation that sounded promising and also its price. Unfortunately, we were extremely disappointed 😞. The main course was more of a decoration, and fillet could be better. The bulk of the meal was made up of vegetables, which weren't even mentioned during the introduction. In conclusion, four people are happy to pay for a good and appropriate meal, which was a real disappointment this evening. Value for money wasn't guaranteed. When we inquired, we were told the information would be passed on to the kitchen. That was it. Unfortunately, even after this bitter disappointment, for us. The ambiance alone isn't enough to satisfy our guests!

Great place, absolutely love it. Nice waitress (Mia) feeding our dog, reasonably priced food, great atmosphere on a beautiful summer day. Been there again today (2025-06-21) and the location is still good. But we had "Bratwurst" today and this dish is not recommendable at all. Totally dry and it basically tasted like stale sandwich. But the "Bratkartoffeln" with "Spiegelei" are pretty good.

We took the boat to lunch. The owner was super friendly and showed us where to dock the boat. Four of us came and ordered three cordon bleu dishes with fried potatoes and one Jägerschnitzel dish with fries. The food was delicious and the prices were totally reasonable. It was our first time there, but it certainly won't be the last. Five stars from me.

We went to Dance in May at Smokey Island for the first time and it was a fantastic evening with friends. Great music and the location couldn't be nicer! Small things to eat are also recommended! We're definitely coming. again!

After a very nice bike tour, we would have been looking forward to a cool drink or something similar... we went into the restaurant in a good mood and were immediately sent out in a very unfriendly manner. We didn't have a reservation... such a vopax. We won't be back here anytime soon!!! What we can highly recommend, however, is the little house next door with very tasty 😋 ice cream and very nice people, where you can spontaneously get something to eat without prior notice.

Interesting and beautiful place We were satisfied

It was really delicious and definitely recommended for all schnitzel lovers! As a starter we had the onion soup from the daily menu. The only thing that depends on the person is that the soup could have been a little hotter. Still very tasty, including the classic bruschetta with Grana Padano. The side salad was brought before the main course and there was nothing wrong with that. For the main course we had the Tyrolean schnitzel with mushrooms & onions and the Wiener schnitzel with fried eggs. Both really delicious! We also had the spaghetti with beef strips and vegetables. There was a lot of beef, but we found that to be a positive thing. (Unfortunately no picture) After the starter and main course we were already so full that we didn't even get to enjoy dessert. The portions are definitely sufficient. Definitely worth a visit for anyone who loves schnitzel! The selection of meat dishes is also very large and I am sure that everyone will find something. I would reserve a table in advance on the weekend as the restaurant was very busy on Saturday evening. After paying there was a nightcap on the house. Very friendly service staff! We can recommend the Restaurant Wessels and would be happy to come back!

The food wasn't like that. Had the chicken skewers, which were a very dry affair and seemed uninspired to me. Salad was unseasoned or there was no dressing. The very nice service, a delicious digestive on the house and the beautiful location raised our overall experience to 4 stars. We'd love to come back, but then I'll order something else 🙂

So feel welcome as a guest... That wasn't the case here. No service came to us. We had to see for ourselves. Everyone was very taciturn and it was also very difficult to smile. Even when we said goodbye, nothing came back. Food was okay, price too. Apparently you are only welcome here if you have a boat. As holidaymakers, we were actually looking forward to a short walk around the lake... But we thought wrong... Everything was locked. If no one from outside is wanted, you should just keep it private

I have never been greeted like this in any restaurant. No "good evening" Have you made a reservation? Me: no Maybe you have to look for something. We quickly drank a beer, paid, without a tip. Gone. Don't come back.

Simple kitchen at not very cheap prices, but a really great outdoor area. If you get hungry during a bike ride or a walk (with or without a dog), this is definitely the place for you and you will also receive very friendly service.

Without a reservation, the guest will not be treated hospitably. My impression was that it was only for regular guests.

Nice place as a destination for a bike tour

Breakfast at the waterfront restaurant is the best decision for a Saturday morning. It was delicious and the staff was extremely polite. I recommend it!

Very good small selection of dishes, I think there is something for everyone. It's a cute little "restaurant" with a bit of a houseboat feel, which isn't meant in a negative way. Service was always very nice!

Great location, in summer you can unwind here and look directly at the Wasswe. Simple but tasty menu. The service is very nice and attentive.

Wir kommen immer gerne, egal ob mit dem Boot, Jetski oder Auto. Man kann mit einem kleinerem Boot oder Jetski direkt am Smokey Island anlegen um dort etwas zu essen/trinken oder sich ein Eis zu holen ;). Sehr cool! Das Essen ist immer super und der Ausblick zum Essen, vor allem Abends bei Sonnenuntergang, sehr schön. Die Bedienung ist immer super freundlich und zuvorkommend. Kann es nur empfehlen.

Sehr abgelegen, aber tolle Lage direkt am See. Sehr freundliches Personal. Würde auf jeden Fall wieder kommen.

Waren heute zum Mittagessen da hat uns sehr gefallen toller Rundumblick um den Hafen, nette Bedienung und schönes Lokal. Zum Essen: Essen war lecker allerdings die Preise sind zu teuer.Für einen Kinderteller 8€ zu verlangen ( Hand voll Pommes mit vier Fischstäbchen) und für jede Beilage (extra Bratkartoffeln für 4€, Spiegelei 2€ ist viel zu teuer. Andere Gerichte wie z.B. Rösti mit Lachs vollkommen angemessen. Getränke waren vom Preis her auch in Ordnung.

Ein schönes kleines Restaurant direkt am Wasser, das wir nur dank Google gefunden haben. Toller Service, netter Ort, gute Küche. Der Preis war angemessen, wenn auch die Portionen ein klein wenig größer sein dürften. Falls wir mal wieder in dieser Gegend sind, kommen wir wieder.

Ein tolles Ambiente direkt auf der Terasse am Jachthafen zu sitzen.Herrlich! Die Bedingungen ließen sich, trotz vieler Besucher, nicht aus der Ruhe bringen und waren sehr freundlich. Das Essen dauerte eine Weile, war geschmacklich lecker.Die Postionen hätten etwas größer sein können. Trotz allem ein gelungener Nachmittag. Kommen gerne nochmal wieder!

Kleines einfaches Restaurant auf dem Wasser umgeben von 🚤. Kleine Karte aber guter Mix, so dass für jeden etwas dabei sein sollte. Wir kommen bestimmt noch einmal wieder vorbei.

Ein sehr schönes Lokal, leider war gerade eine geschlossene Gesellschaft angekündigt. Der Wirt war etwas Wortkarg, die Bedienungen waren aufmerksam und fragten warum wir wieder gehen und das wir trotzdem die Barhocker noch nutzen könnten. Da aber der Wirt meinte das die Seite komplett genutzt wird sind wir lieber gegangen. Vielleicht beim nächsten Mal.

Wir waren zum ersten Mal im Smokey Island und wurden sehr gut bedient. Das Essen hat allen sehr gut geschmeckt. Preis/Leistung passt. Wir werden wiederkommen.

Wir waren schon öfter in der Marina zu gast und sind immer zufrieden gewesen. "Fine Dining" gibt es hier nicht, dafür aber tolles Servicepersonal und eine lockere Atmosphäre. Wartezeiten beschränken sich auf ein Minimum und man ist stets bemüht den Wünschen der Gäste gerecht zu werden. Hier kann man uneingeschränkt eine gute Zeit verbringen und die Seele baumeln lassen

Immer sehr kurzweilig, leckere Snacks und Getränke, Bedienungen selbst bei voller Hütte super freundlich und flott! Das ist schon ein Alleinstellungsmerkmal. Anlegen direkt am Smokey Island mit Boot ist machbar, Bedienungen bringen die bestellten Speisen/Drinks direkt ans Boot. Nice, wir kommen wieder 😃

Sehr schönes Ambiente im Hafen, aufmerksame und sehr freundliche Bedienung. Drei Sterne nur, da die Portionen klein und lieblos angerichtet wurden. Also zum "satt" werden nicht zu empfehlen.

Dort haben wir endlich mal wieder ausgezeichnet gemachte Bratkartoffeln bekommen!!! Und alles zu super günstigen Preisen! Das war garantiert nicht das letzte Mal, dass wir dort gegessen haben.

Great location along the Weser river with plenty of place to hire a boat or house boat to go and see the mighty Weser River.

Ziemlich abgelegen liegt dieses Hafenbistro in der Marina Wieltsee an der Oberweser. Direkt auf dem Wasser hat man einen netten Blick auf den Hafen. Die Karte umfasst alle Klassiker eines Imbiss, dazu heute z.B. Schnitzel mit Spargel. Die Preise sind fair, der Service freundlich und fix. Insgesamt kein kulinarischer Hochgenuss, aber für einen kleinen Ausflug absolut zu empfehlen.
