Was für ein wunderbarer Abend. Das Essen war nicht nur geschmacklich hervorragend, sondern auch optisch eine absolute Augenweide. Besonders die kunstvoll angerichteten Desserts haben mich begeistert. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Der erstklassige Wein, den wir direkt am Fenster genießen durften, rundete das Erlebnis perfekt ab. Wir kommen definitiv wieder.

Wir haben uns für das Degustationsmenü entschieden und ein wunderbares Erlebnis gehabt. Jeder Gang war kreativ und wunderschön angerichtet, mit einzigartigen Kombinationen aus Texturen und Aromen, die jedes Gericht interessant und unvergesslich machten. Der Service war exzellent – ​​aufmerksam, professionell und stets zur Stelle, wenn wir ihn brauchten, und ermöglichte es uns gleichzeitig, den Abend in unserem eigenen Tempo zu genießen. Die Atmosphäre war friedlich und entspannend, der perfekte Ort also, um Zeit miteinander zu verbringen. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Ein großartiges Erlebnis, ein wunderschönes Ambiente und ein perfekter Service. Eric war so liebenswürdig, einfach der Beste, was unseren Abend noch besonderer gemacht hat.

Wir besuchten das Skykitchen ganz im Osten Berlins mit recht hohen Erwartungen. Wir wurden vom Team und einem sehr freundlichen Kellner herzlich empfangen. Die von der Weinkellnerin empfohlenen Getränke waren hervorragend, ebenso wie das Essen. Besonders ein Gang mit gedämpftem Ei und gemahlenem weißen Trüffel war ein Genuss. Die Lage ist traumhaft mit einem einzigartigen Blick auf die Oper, das Rathaus, den Fernsehturm und vieles mehr. Die Kellner waren überaus zuvorkommend, kaum wahrnehmbar und schufen eine angenehme und entspannte Atmosphäre.

Meine Frau und Ich waren gestern in der SkyKitchen. Wir haben meinen Geburtstag dort verbracht. Das Essen war ein wahrer Gaumenschmaus und man ist auf die individuellen Wünsche eingegangen. Es lohnt sich kulinarisch sehr. Für meine Frau und Mich von Herzen volle Punktzahl. Aber am Besten gefallen hat uns der Service. Hier merkt man erstmal wirklich, was erstklassiger Service bedeutet. Matthias sieht die Wünsche seiner Gäste, bevor man sie selbst bemerkt. Auch das Team rund um Matthias ist absolute Weltklasse! Das Ambiente ist hochgradig professionell, gepaart mit viel Leichtigkeit. Wenn wir könnten, gäbe es hier 6 Sterne - und das absolut verdient. Ein Abend, den wir so schnell nicht vergessen werden! Wir waren vor zwei Wochen in der Sky Kitchen und kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. Der Service war wirklich klasse: aufmerksam, freundlich und man hat gemerkt, dass die auf einen eingehen und nicht nur die Bestellungen abarbeiten. Besonders schön fanden wir, dass der Küchenchef persönlich rauskommt, die Gerichte serviert und erklärt. Das macht das Ganze besonders und man spürt, mit wie viel Herzblut hier gekocht wird. Auf dem Teller haben uns vor allem der Spargel und die Karotte begeistert. Beide top zubereitet und wirklich ein Genuss. Auch das Brot war richtig gut. Dazu kam eine Weinbegleitung, die wunderbar gepasst hat und die Gänge schön abgerundet hat. Fazit: Küche, Service und Atmosphäre stimmen hier einfach. Klare Empfehlung! Ich werde wiederkommen.

Unser erster Abend in der Skykitchen war nicht einfach ein Restaurantbesuch, sondern ein kulinarisches Erlebnis, das in Erinnerung bleibt. Schon beim Empfang war spürbar, dass hier Gastfreundschaft nicht nur zum Konzept gehört, sondern gelebt wird: warmherzig, aufmerksam und mit einer Selbstverständlichkeit, die sofort das Gefühl vermittelte, willkommen zu sein. Dazu kam ein wunderschöner Platz mit einem beeindruckenden Blick über Berlin. Bei diesem fantastischen Wetter und dem Sonnenuntergang wurde der Abend bereits zu Beginn zu etwas Besonderem. Das Fünf-Gänge-Menü, ergänzt durch zusätzliche Highlights, war in jeder Hinsicht stimmig komponiert. Jeder Gang hatte seine eigene Handschrift und fügte sich zugleich harmonisch in die Dramaturgie des gesamten Menüs ein. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die vom Sommelier ausgewählte Weinbegleitung: präzise abgestimmt, geschmacklich fein austariert und in wunderbarer Balance zu den Speisen. Diese Kombination aus Küche und Wein war nicht nur passend, sondern ein echter Genuss. Auch der Service war herausragend: persönlich, zugewandt, aufmerksam und dabei angenehm unaufdringlich. Man fühlte sich den ganzen Abend über bestens begleitet. Dass der Koch sogar persönlich an unseren Tisch kam und nachfragte, ob es uns gefällt, hat diesem besonderen Abend zusätzlich eine sehr persönliche Note verliehen. Wir wollten schon lange in die Skykitchen und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Im Gegenteil: Unsere Erwartungen wurden nicht nur erfüllt, sondern deutlich übertroffen. Ein herzlicher Dank an das gesamte Team für diesen außergewöhnlich schönen Abend.

Neuer Koch, neue Restaurantleitung, Qualität konstant auf hohem Niveau. Wir sind regelmäßig im Skykitchen und waren neugierig, was sich verändert hat. Zum Glück wenig. Super Essen und ein fantastischer, gerazu herzerwärmender Service. Besonders freut auch, anders als in manch anderer Sterneküche, dass der Weinservice großzügig daherkommt. Hier wird nicht knickerig knapp unter 0,1 l eingeschenkt, nein, die Flasche verbleibt auf dem Tisch, der Probeschluck vorab ist mehr als großzügig. Die passenden Weine sind ohnehin sehr gut von der kompetenten Sommeliere ausgewählt und beschrieben. Der neue Koch kommt zum Smalltalk an jeden Tisch, das ist neu. Auch das macht er gut. Fantastischer Ausblick über Berlin. Kurzum: Ein ausschweifender Abend, der uns glücklich macht! Immer wieder gerne, wir kommen natürlich wieder.

Was für ein wunderbarer Abend! Wir waren hier zum Geburtstag meiner Partnerin und der Abend war wirklich von Anfang bis Ende perfekt! Die Atmossphäre, der Service, die freundlichen Gespräche mit dem Personal - es passte einfach alles. Ich empfehle tatsächlich die nicht-alkoholische Weinbegleitung, da die Küche hier viel Liebe und Aufwand in die Komposition gesteckt hat und hier einfach interessante Geschmäcker zusammenfinden. Großartig! Preismäßig ist das Menü natürlich intensiver, aber der Ausblick, der Charme und die Qualität sind es in definitiv wert.

Ich bin enttäuscht. Ich hatte mich sehr darauf gefreut, meinen Partner zu unserem Jahrestag hierher auszuführen, aber wir fühlten uns abgezockt. Niemand war ehrlich. Uns wurde ein Begrüßungsgetränk angeboten, das wir dann aber selbst bezahlen mussten. Man drängte uns zu einer Weinbegleitung, die nicht gut war, und zwang uns anschließend, all diese zusätzlichen Kosten zu tragen. Ich war schon in vielen Sternerestaurants, und dies war mit Abstand die schlechteste Erfahrung. Wir versuchten, mit dem Manager zu sprechen und eine Lösung zu finden, aber es interessierte ihn nicht. Der Kundenservice war wirklich unterirdisch. Es gibt bessere Restaurants in Berlin; ich würde Ihnen dringend empfehlen, eines davon auszuprobieren.

Um jeden Preis meiden! Wir waren kürzlich dort und erwarteten ein luxuriöses Dinner-Erlebnis, da die Werbung des Restaurants unglaublich irreführend war. Das Abendessen wurde so beworben, als würde das gesamte Erlebnis 320 € kosten – schon ein stolzer Preis, aber wir waren bereit, uns etwas Besonderes zu gönnen. Verschweigend wird jedoch erwähnt, dass doppelt abgerechnet wird, einmal pro Person, und der Eindruck eines Pauschalpreises erweckt wird. Unsere Rechnung belief sich auf über 700 €, was wir erst im Nachhinein bemerkten. Es gab keinerlei Transparenz, keine Vorwarnung, keine Erklärung. Als wir nachfragten, wurde alles abgestritten und wir wurden eiskalt abgewiesen. Keine Verantwortung, keine Entschuldigung, nichts. Das Essen war, ehrlich gesagt, bestenfalls durchschnittlich. Ich habe auf Weihnachtsmärkten schon besser für unter 20 € gegessen. Das Ambiente war abgestanden, der Wein enttäuschend und das Essen zog sich endlos hin. Für den Preis hatte ich ein richtiges Gourmet-Erlebnis erwartet. Stattdessen bekamen wir eine Touristenfalle. Wir haben lange dafür gespart, 700 € sind schließlich kein Pappenstiel. Ich bin wütend. Ich fühle mich betrogen und bin ehrlich gesagt total am Boden zerstört, dass wir unser Geld und unseren letzten Abend hier verschwendet haben. Ich würde das nicht mal meinem schlimmsten Feind empfehlen. Erspart euch den Ärger und euer Geld. GEHT DA NICHT HIN! Und falls das Restaurant das hier liest: Macht das wieder gut. Wir waren gestern das erste Mal im Skykitchen in Berlin. Das Menü hat uns sehr gefallen und der Service war phänomenal. Leider müssen wir einen Punkt Abzug geben, weil die Weinauswahl zwar excellent war, aber alle Weine aus unserer Sicht etwas zu warm serviert wurden.

Wir waren total begeistert. Vom ersten Moment an super freundlich empfangen, tolles Menü und eine richtig entspannte Stimmung. Die Kombination aus Geschmack, Aussicht und Service ist einfach top.

Der heutige Abend war ein großartiges Erlebnis, das abwechslungsreiche Menü mit tollen Aromen, eine fantastische alkoholfreie Getränkebegleitung, sehr aufmerksame und zuvorkommende Mitarbeitende, die für jede Frage Zeit hatten und natürluch eine grandiose Aussicht. Wir kommen definitiv wieder.

Had a great evening at SkyKitchen! The food was delicious, the atmosphere lovely, and the view over the city was stunning. Service from Mario was excellent, and it was a nice surprise to learn the dessert was made by a 21-year-old chef — amazing work! The booking process was smooth and easy. My only suggestion would be to improve responsiveness to emails, Instagram messages, and phone calls, as I couldn’t reach anyone before the dinner. Overall, highly recommended!

The ambiance allows for undisturbed conversation, and the background music is well-mixed and played at a moderate volume. The view of the city center in the eastern part of the city is probably stunning at any time of day and on a clear day.

An excellent experience. Mario, who led the evening, has quality experience and explains in an unambiguous way. The restaurant is of the highest standard, the view is beautiful, and the service is at the highest levels. I recommend having an excellent, high-quality tasting meal.

We went to celebrate our first wedding anniversary and the experience was fantastic. We chose the "surprise menu," which offered us a journey through German cuisine with Asian touches (in our opinion). The fish and meat menu was delicious. You receive an extremely friendly welcome, and this continues. The ladies and gentlemen are always extremely friendly, helpful, and very professional. The choice consists of two menus, vegetarian or not. Variations in between are available upon request. It's best to be surprised. Each course is something special. The optional wine pairing is also well-chosen. A real treat that you should treat yourself to. An almost perfect restaurant. View, service, creativity of the chef. The dishes are complex and sophisticated and go well with the wine that was matched to them. What was not good? 1. The air conditioning did not work and it was hot. 2. For the main course, in my humble opinion, beef fillet would have been more suitable for a task, but surely the excellent chef understands more than I do.

An all-round successful evening with heavenly food and a great atmosphere! We were warmly welcomed as soon as we entered - the team is attentive, friendly and exudes a pleasant relaxed atmosphere. The store itself? Stylish, modern, but by no means over-the-top or stiff – here everyone can come and be as they please. The food was a real highlight: perfectly prepared courses, beautifully presented and the taste was simply first-class. Everything was served quickly without being rushed. And the view over the roofs of Berlin? Breathtaking! We as Berliners will definitely come back – not just for Valentine’s Day!

The Skykitchen is a wonderful place that touches all the senses. After many wonderful hours in the hands of Barbara Merll and her team, we were very lucky to be able to celebrate our wedding there on September 1st, 2021. The wonderful view over the city from the 12th floor of the glass-clad building is literally an eye-catcher. The lockdown period was used to overhaul the cozy interior and once again underline the great ambience. In this intoxicating atmosphere we were served a 5-course menu that was in no way inferior to this one. Tasty may sound so simple - an adjective that probably in no way applies to the preparation of the food - but without exception it applies perfectly to what Alexander Koppe and his team served for us. The individual courses were supported by a finely balanced wine accompaniment. As always, a service was offered that left nothing to be desired - except perhaps that this wonderful time would never end - and gave our guests and us an unforgettable experience and topped off this special day. These beautiful moments will stay with us for a lifetime and we thank everyone who contributed to them from the bottom of our hearts.

We've been here several times, even after the chef changed, and have never been disappointed. Very warm service especially from Ms. Merll. The vegetarian menus are always varied, often include certain classics and are simply delicious. The atmosphere is modern and the view is worth it.

We had reservations for Skykitchen on August 14th. When we arrived at the restaurant we were surprised to find that the restaurant was closed. We made the reservation a few weeks before arriving in Berlin and did not receive a notification or order cancellation. We left our details at the hotel reception, we were assured that someone from the restaurant would contact us. Until now we have not received any answer or explanation for this outrageous and disrespectful behavior from the restaurant. We also sent an email with a request for clarification and have not yet been answered. We were completely ignored and deeply disappointed. We had reservations for Skykitchen on August 14th. When we arrived at the restaurant we were surprised to find that the restaurant was closed. We made the reservation a few weeks before arriving in Berlin and did not receive a notification or cancellation of the reservation. We left our details at the hotel reception, we were assured that someone from the restaurant would contact us. Zalig over de hele lijn. Top ontvangen, top menu met lekkere wijnen en een geweldig uitzicht. Moesten in de lobby wel even vragen waar we moesten zijn want de lift is op de hoek en het is niet goed aan gegeven, maar zodra we boven waren was dit vergeten. Echt de moeite!

I spent a wonderful night with my colleagues at this sky-high restaurant. The food was excellent thanks to the super nice chef and the service was great. You can enjoy the view day or night, as it is one of the rare places in Berlin.

Fabulous! A magnificent fine dining experience with a stunning skyline view from the 12th floor. The exquisite tasting menu is spot on, their hospitality and friendliness outstanding, and I love their (natural) wine selection, too. Also a fantastic place for solo eaters! Book a seat at the floor to ceiling windows!

If a 2-star restaurant is one that is “worth a detour,” I don’t understand why Michelin doesn’t give Skykittchen a second star. Everything is really right here. Spectacularly good food, wonderfully warm, committed and cordial service and an impressive location. If Sascha Kurgan and his team continue like this, the end of the flagpole is still far away. Seriously, people, go eat there! In a cross-comparison of the 1-star restaurants I know, Skykittchen is right at the top!

Im Rahmen eines Berlin Besuchs hatten wir eine Einladung zu einem Menü im Skykitchen. Für uns das erste Mal und sicher bleibt es nicht dabei. Nicht nur die erstklassige Aussicht aus der oberen Etage und die gesamte Erscheinung des Restaurants haben uns umgehauen, auch das Essen. Wir hatten einmal das vegetarische Menü mit alkoholfreier Begleitung, wobei manches Getränk für eine Überraschung sorgte und das Menü mit Fleisch/Fisch und Weinbegleitung. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich den zuvorkommenden Service durch den ganzen Abend. Insgesamt ein Abend, der in Erinnerung bleiben wird.

A truly excellent restaurant. We decided on the summer special and all the menus tasted great and were also very creatively presented (I had the vegetarian option and it was also very, very tasty!). The service was simply perfect, very attentive, unobtrusive, with great attention to small details and extremely friendly. Everything is complemented by a breathtaking view of the city. We can highly recommend a visit.

Overall, we were able to spend a pleasant evening accompanied by a friendly and relaxed crew and some views with a kind of summer special menu a la surprise for 150 euros on the slightly less booked Wed and Thu evenings. I chose the vegetarian menu and have to say, apart from the amuse and the dessert, the courses passed me by pale and without pep and memory and without any wow moment. There were neither exciting ingredients nor corresponding taste moments that I love in star cuisine. The egg, praised as a signature, tried to attract attention but was just as pale as the two main courses. In one main course there was a piece of brioche... another was a bread dumpling... very boring. My companion, however, was very satisfied and happy with the meat/fish menu. So my lesson: if you can generally master star cuisine, you are far from mastering vegetarian cuisine.

Yesterday I was a guest at Sky Kitchen with my partner. I could simply say that it was phenomenal. However, it is necessary to go into a little more detail. Ms. Merll and Ms. Polte form the perfect symbiosis of hosts. Above the roofs of the city you can enjoy small works of art in the form of 6 corridors. You become part of an exciting story that you can influence to a certain extent by choosing your drinks. We had an unforgettable evening. The service was perfect. The Sky Kitchen knows how to guide guests through the evening in a very approachable, unobtrusive and attentive way. Every move is perfect, every description arouses curiosity, every question is answered. Instead of red/white wine, we enjoyed the evening with sparkling wine. Here we can only advise you to take advantage of what the restaurant has to offer and take the opportunity to try the treasures of Eastern Europe in a glass. Of course you will also be happy with the pearly French classics, but we were deeply impressed by the creations from Slovenia, the Czech Republic and the like. The start, however, was a Silvaner Brut Nature from Rheinhessen. Here too I can state that this representative does not have to hide from the traditional houses of Western Europe. We can only warmly recommend a visit. A culinary fireworks display paired with unmistakable hospitality.

Great ambience. Attentive service. The food was mediocre: not very innovative and creative, sauces with a slimy consistency. Wines mediocre. The price for it is very high. Overall, hardly worth a Michelin star.

Fantastic MICHELIN star restaurant. Great views. Excellent tasting menu. Their food is visually stunning & tastes incredible. Their creativity was brilliant & you can tell a lot of attention was put into ensuring they used only local & fresh ingredients.

wo fängt man hier an? also zunächst mal das Ambiente: eine phantastische Aussicht über Berlin und eine sehr gelungene innenarchitektonische Gestaltung und Einrichtung des Restaurants im "Industry-Style" mit einem Mix aus Beton, Metall, Glas und Holz, was hier wirklich sehr gut zusammenspielt. Über das Menü will ich gar nicht so viele Worte verlieren: wir hatten 6 Gänge, und jeder Gang war zum Niederknien lecker! Wow!! Der Service: aufmerksam, freundlich und gleichzeitig angemessen und locker, wir haben uns hier den gesamten Abend über sehr gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Und dann die Weinbegleitung: normalerweise wählen wir lieber eine Flasche Wein aus der Karte, hier haben wir uns aber von der sehr kompetenten und überzeugenden Sommelière von der Weinbegleitung überzeugen lassen - und das war eine sehr gute Entscheidung. Zumal die Weinkarte sehr osteuropäisch geprägt ist mit Weinen u.a. aus Bulgarien, Slowenien, Serbien, Kroatien, Tschechien uvm., von denen wir kaum einen Wein kannten. Klingt erstmal gewöhnungsbedürftig, war aber wirklich großartig. Würden wir auf jeden Fall wieder machen. Unser Fazit: Der Michelin Stern ist mehr als verdient, wir würden uns nicht wundern wenn hier zukünftig noch ein weiterer Stern dazukäme!

We had the perfect sky view of the golden hour while having the dessert. Their serving was perfectly just in time until sundown. Excellent service, knowledgeable and attentive team, and the courses were just amazing. I appreciate that they were willing to customise the courses to adjust to my crustacean-molluscan allergy. Die Skykitchen bietet eine erstklassige kulinarische Erfahrung mit einem atemberaubenden Blick über Berlin. Das Ambiente ist elegant und die Speisen sind kreativ und von höchster Qualität. Der Service ist professionell, aber manchmal etwas langsam. Die Preise sind hoch, aber die Erfahrung lohnt sich für besondere Anlässe oder romantische Abende. Favorite restaurant in Berlin! Everything is just right!

Nice atmosphere, relaxing sitting and warm service. Although at a high floor of the hotel, it was foggy of the day and didn’t get a good view of the city. Speaking of food itself, indeed a big hint of Asian influence. As a fine dining, the kind of complexity of the taste was delivered. But a few creams of some dishes were a bit too greasy and heavy for me. All in all, it didn’t leave a wow impression at the end. The wine paring is better than the food itself, also as many commented, the wine paring features ones from the East Europe, not something very common to find.

Star gastronomy! Fine cuisine can be enjoyed here. The ambience allows you to indulge in a conversation undisturbed and the background music is well mixed and at a restrained volume. The view of the center in the eastern part of the city is probably stunning at any time of day and on a clear day.
