Incredibly good, had a fantastic evening!!

Amazing degustation menu from beginning until the end with a perfect service and a wonderful view.

It's perfect how the new kitchen chef gently develops the modern restaurant with the unique view and shows his signature. This continues under the caring leadership of Barbara Merll and her team. The non-alcoholic drink accompaniment is exciting and definitely worth a try. . I'm already looking forward to my next visit to this place, which is my extended living room.

Overall, we were able to spend a pleasant evening accompanied by a friendly and relaxed crew and some views with a kind of summer special menu a la surprise for 150 euros on the slightly less booked Wed and Thu evenings. I chose the vegetarian menu and have to say, apart from the amuse and the dessert, the courses passed me by pale and without pep and memory and without any wow moment. There were neither exciting ingredients nor corresponding taste moments that I love in star cuisine. The egg, praised as a signature, tried to attract attention but was just as pale as the two main courses. In one main course there was a piece of brioche... another was a bread dumpling... very boring. My companion, however, was very satisfied and happy with the meat/fish menu. So my lesson: if you can generally master star cuisine, you are far from mastering vegetarian cuisine.

A truly excellent restaurant. We decided on the summer special and all the menus tasted great and were also very creatively presented (I had the vegetarian option and it was also very, very tasty!). The service was simply perfect, very attentive, unobtrusive, with great attention to small details and extremely friendly. Everything is complemented by a breathtaking view of the city. We can highly recommend a visit.

Yesterday I was a guest at Sky Kitchen with my partner. I could simply say that it was phenomenal. However, it is necessary to go into a little more detail. Ms. Merll and Ms. Polte form the perfect symbiosis of hosts. Above the roofs of the city you can enjoy small works of art in the form of 6 corridors. You become part of an exciting story that you can influence to a certain extent by choosing your drinks. We had an unforgettable evening. The service was perfect. The Sky Kitchen knows how to guide guests through the evening in a very approachable, unobtrusive and attentive way. Every move is perfect, every description arouses curiosity, every question is answered. Instead of red/white wine, we enjoyed the evening with sparkling wine. Here we can only advise you to take advantage of what the restaurant has to offer and take the opportunity to try the treasures of Eastern Europe in a glass. Of course you will also be happy with the pearly French classics, but we were deeply impressed by the creations from Slovenia, the Czech Republic and the like. The start, however, was a Silvaner Brut Nature from Rheinhessen. Here too I can state that this representative does not have to hide from the traditional houses of Western Europe. We can only warmly recommend a visit. A culinary fireworks display paired with unmistakable hospitality.

Great ambience. Attentive service. The food was mediocre: not very innovative and creative, sauces with a slimy consistency. Wines mediocre. The price for it is very high. Overall, hardly worth a Michelin star.

wo fängt man hier an? also zunächst mal das Ambiente: eine phantastische Aussicht über Berlin und eine sehr gelungene innenarchitektonische Gestaltung und Einrichtung des Restaurants im "Industry-Style" mit einem Mix aus Beton, Metall, Glas und Holz, was hier wirklich sehr gut zusammenspielt. Über das Menü will ich gar nicht so viele Worte verlieren: wir hatten 6 Gänge, und jeder Gang war zum Niederknien lecker! Wow!! Der Service: aufmerksam, freundlich und gleichzeitig angemessen und locker, wir haben uns hier den gesamten Abend über sehr gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Und dann die Weinbegleitung: normalerweise wählen wir lieber eine Flasche Wein aus der Karte, hier haben wir uns aber von der sehr kompetenten und überzeugenden Sommelière von der Weinbegleitung überzeugen lassen - und das war eine sehr gute Entscheidung. Zumal die Weinkarte sehr osteuropäisch geprägt ist mit Weinen u.a. aus Bulgarien, Slowenien, Serbien, Kroatien, Tschechien uvm., von denen wir kaum einen Wein kannten. Klingt erstmal gewöhnungsbedürftig, war aber wirklich großartig. Würden wir auf jeden Fall wieder machen. Unser Fazit: Der Michelin Stern ist mehr als verdient, wir würden uns nicht wundern wenn hier zukünftig noch ein weiterer Stern dazukäme!

We had the perfect sky view of the golden hour while having the dessert. Their serving was perfectly just in time until sundown. Excellent service, knowledgeable and attentive team, and the courses were just amazing. I appreciate that they were willing to customise the courses to adjust to my crustacean-molluscan allergy. Der Service ist professionell, aber manchmal etwas langsam. Die Preise sind hoch, aber die Erfahrung lohnt sich für besondere Anlässe oder romantische Abende. Insgesamt ist die Skykitchen eine empfehlenswerte Option für Feinschmecker und Genießer gehobener Küche.

Favorite restaurant in Berlin! Everything is just right!

Nice atmosphere, relaxing sitting and warm service. Although at a high floor of the hotel, it was foggy of the day and didn’t get a good view of the city. Speaking of food itself, indeed a big hint of Asian influence. As a fine dining, the kind of complexity of the taste was delivered. But a few creams of some dishes were a bit too greasy and heavy for me. All in all, it didn’t leave a wow impression at the end. The wine paring is better than the food itself, also as many commented, the wine paring features ones from the East Europe, not something very common to find.

Star gastronomy! Fine cuisine can be enjoyed here. The ambience allows you to indulge in a conversation undisturbed and the background music is well mixed and at a restrained volume. The view of the center in the eastern part of the city is probably stunning at any time of day and on a clear day.

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Abend über den Dächern von Berlin. Das Essen war großartig und der Service war exzellent. Wir hatten das aktuelle Menü "Voyager" mit Weinbegleitung sowie alkoholfreie Getränkebegleitung. Beides hat überzeugt. Vielen Dank. Wir kommen wieder!

Ein absoluter Traum! Ich habe gestern meinen Mann zum Geburtstag ins Skykitchen eingeladen und wir sind begeistert heraus. Die kulinarische Reise durch die Welt ist sehr empfehlenswert. Der Service erfüllt jeden Wunsch, erklärt sämtliche Details und ist angenehm präsent. Da wird die tolle Aussicht zur Nebensache Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Wir waren nur in dem Sterne Restaurant, deswegen kann ich über das Hotel wenig sagen. Das Restaurant aber ist hervorragend mit schöner Aussicht. Alles war fabelhaft an diesem Abend. Die Speisen waren von bester Qualität und geschmacklich ausgezeichnet (Reh und Krabbe waren herausragend). Wir hatten das 6-Gang-Menü mit Weinbegleitung. Alle Gänge waren gustatorisch fantastisch. Der korrespondierende Wein war perfekt auf die Speisen abgestimmt. Der Service war stets präsent ohne aufdringlich zu sein, sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Abend. Absolut empfehlenswert.

Bei unserem gestrigen Besuch hatten wir mit dem Wetter Glück und eine traumhafte Aussicht. Wir durften ein 6 Gänge Menü mit Weinbegleitung und das Ambiente sehr genießen. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die sehr zuvorkommende und sachkundige Bedienung, die uns jeden einzelnen Gang erklärte ! Das Menü ein Fest für die Sinne ! Durch die Weinbegleitung - welche uns von der Sommeliere fachkundig erklärt wurde- wurde jeder einzelne Gang hervorragend unterstrichen. Da es sich hier um eine Sterneküche handelt , hat das Essen seinen gerechtfertigten Preis. Jeder einzelne Cent ist es wert. Wir kommen gerne wieder und werden die Skykitchen weiterempfehlen !

tl;dr Save your money and eat somewhere else. The worst Michelin star restaurant I've eaten at. 0. Incredibly rude waitstaff. As another reviewer mentioned they rudely called out how much we chose to tip, tell us 10% was "standard" (it's not), and then reiterate loudly the amount we were tipping. Constantly interrupted during the meal as well. 1. Poor juice pairings. Ex: A  cherry+coffee+chocolate juice was served as the pair to the main venison course. The coffee flavor was entirely overpowering instead of compliment the dish. Most juices were a similarly elaborate affair. 2. 6 course menu is more focused on being "complex" for the sake of complexity rather than flavorful. Also for leaning heavy into a Japanese 3. Hidden charges. The "welcome drink" offered is not part of the tasting menu and will cost you extra. Not to mention the gall to charge someone spending 200+ Eur/person on a meal an extra 10 Eur/person for water without listing it on the menu (or informing you). 5. Vegetarian substitutes were below par for a establishment of this caliber. 6. The views are really not as great as you might think. Only 3 of the tables have a view of the heart of the city (west) and the setting sun. All in all as someone who has eaten at many Michelin restaurants around the world I cannot reccomend this establishment. The food, drinks, and service are all lacking for the fine dining price point.

Skykitchen:Ein Highlight in Friedrichshain/Prenzelberg im Hotel Andel's im 12 Panoramastocks!! Schon beim Eintritt empfängt Skykitchen mit einem tollen Ambiente. Gastgeberin Fr.Merll und ihr Team sind super Freundlich und immer auf der Höhe des Geschehens. Das 6 Gänge Menü lässt keine Wünsche offen(nichts zum stopfen oder satt Essen)-herrliche Geschmacks Nuancen und schön Angerichtet und erst die super Weinbegleitung-alle Achtung!!

Nach wie vor tolles Essen. Einer der besten uns angenehmsten Serviceteams in Berlin. Vielen Dank für den schönen Abend!

Man hat ja eine Erwartungshaltung, wenn man in ein Sternerestaurant geht. Aber unser Abend über Berlin hat diese bei weitem übertroffen und auch hier hat die Himmelsküche ihre 5 Sterne redlich verdient! Es gab Rauch-Aal, Onsen-Ei, Zander, Wagyu, Taube und Süßes im Schokomantel! Jeder Gang war eine Geschmacksexplosion und zusätzlich ein kleines Kunstwerk. Nur die Taube mag ich einfach nicht, aber diese ist nun wenigstens im Paradies und verschönert mir nicht mehr von oben das Auto. Also Gratulation und Danke an die Hüter des Herds! Wenn man dann auch noch so kompetent und herzlich von Sharin und Mario betreut wird, ist das Ende des Abends die Vertreibung aus dem Garden Eden! Auch Euch ganz vielen Dank, Ihr Engel am Gast! Zum Glück, kann man diesen Himmel jederzeit wieder mit dem Fahrstuhl erreichen. Das war himmlische Küche und herzlicher Service in der Skykitchen!

This restaurant is very busy but efficient. Even though the restaurant is huge but better to make a reservation if you plan to go during the peak period. I like potato soup and sausage. The soup is very rich and creamy. Food comes with a big portion.

Fine Dining mit großartiger Aussicht. Auf der Weinkarte sind viele hervorragende Weine aus Ländern wie Polen und Bosnien, die sonst rar in der Berliner Gastronomie sind - da gibt es viel zu entdecken. Der Service war ausgesprochen freundlich und aufmerksam.

Absolut herausragender Abend. Jeder Gang, jedes Getränk mit so einer Präsentation war absolute Spitzenklasse. Auch der Service und die Aussicht wurde dem Ambiente gerecht.

Service, Essen und Ambiente waren zum wiederholten Male überragend. Der neue Chefkoch hat das super Niveau aus unserer Sicht mindestens gehalten wenn nicht nochmal verbessert. Der Service strahlt mit jeder Faser Gastfreundlichkeit und eine - trotz des gehobenen (Preis-)Niveaus - angenehme Lockerheit aus. Wir hatten einen wirklich schönen Abend

Definitiv eine mega schöne Erfahrung. Der Service absolut top. Das Essen außergewöhnlich, aber mehr als gut. Die alkoholfreie Getränkebegleitung, absolut kreativ und mit vielen Überraschungen. Decor and ambience reminds me of Alice in wonderland and or Peter Pan “fairy tale like.” The seating arrangement for 2 person if you like a view is against the lining of the window facing outwards (like in a cafe) as oppose to traditional two person table top in the middle of the room. The kitchen was behind us with glass over so it was “open kitchen” concept and I love to observe the team as they were super focused. The staff does extremely well speaking in German and English. They were very personable and provided their favorite wines and were knowledgeable of their menu. Definitely Michelin worthy service. Each dish was presented with an attentive explanation. The menu i believe is fusion cuisine featuring molecular gastronomy. The “onsen egg.” was the star of the evening and also their chocolate at the end for dessert. I want to point out the wine menu is very unique and noteworthy due to the fact it features mainly wines from Germany and eastwards. We selected the Slovenian bottle that is only carried at this restaurant and it paired beautifully with the dishes. Highly recommend this bottle if you get a chance to try it.

Gemütliche zum Sitzen und leckeren Drink genießen bei perfekten Ausblick

Wir waren das erste Mal hier und das erste Mal in einem Sterne Restaurant und was soll ich sagen, es war ein Erlebnis. Vom herausragenden Service (ganz großes Lob), über die fantastische Weinbegleitung (jeder Tropfen war perfekt aufs Menü abgestimmt) bis hin zum wunderbaren Essen! Vom der Makrele, übers Täubchen bis hin zum Ziegenkäse Eis, es war eine Explosion der Aromen und Geschmäcker. Wir waren bei jedem Gang aufs neue Überrascht von den Kombinationen und Geschmäckern. Wer hätte gedacht das ein quietschgrünes Spinat Petersilien Püree so fantastisch schmeckt! Rundum, es war ein gelungener Abend! Vielen Dank dafür!

Tolle Bar in der 14. Etage mit toller Aussicht

Essen waren wir nicht, daher nur 4 Punkte. Die Aussicht in der Lounge ist der Wahnsinn, gerade nachts! Das Personal hat immer einen witzigen Spruch auf den Lippen. Auch extrawünsche werden gemixt! Einfach top!

Großartiges Sternerestaurant mit spektakulärem Blick über Berlin. Die kreative Umsetzung der einzelnen Gerichte auf qualitativ höchstem Niveau lässt Gaumenfreuden wahr werden. Besonders hervorzuheben wäre der extrem freundliche Service. Kompetent, zurückhaltend mit Berliner Charme. (Marco!) Wir waren zum 2.Mal hier und können es nur sehr empfehlen.

Wer ein Fan der gehobenen Küche ist wird hier definitiv auf seine Kosten kommen. Der Service ist wirklich ohne Makel. Vom Essen ganz zu schweigen. Die Gerichte bieten bei jedem Gang eine einmalige Erfahrung. Sollte eine Wein Begleitung gewünscht sein findet hier jeder das passende zu seinem Geschmack. Ich kann nur empfehlen dieses Restaurant einmal zu testen.

The food is good. The views are nice but less stunning than I expected. In total, it's an experience of +4 hours there. Things to improve: the service look too forced, it would be good if they would act more natural and 'human'. Also, they ask you to tip at least 10% of your bill, otherwise they get very angry. Basically they say the tip it's optional, but in reality not, it's mandatory. That attitude seemed quite 'cheap' to me, especially in a restaurant where you spend at least 300 euros and the staff is supposed to be well payed.

Schon recht schön in der 14. Etage den Blick über die Stadt zu haben.... Trotzdem - selbst für eine Hotel-Bar deutlich zu teuer. Aperol Spritz 13,- € Bier 0,3 auch knapp 5,- €....RESPEKT!

This restaurant is on top of the Vienna House hotel close to S bahn (train station) Landsberger Allee. The service in both the hotel and the restaurant are good, especially for Berlin standards

Très joli restaurant avec une belle vue panoramique de nuit, on s'y sent bien. Equipe attentionnée et compétente. Une cuisine plutôt lisible et des assaisonnements équilibrés. Mention spéciale pour l'excellent accord mets et boissons sans alcool qui était cohérent et harmonieux.

Wahnsinnig tolles Ambiente in luftigen Höhen, atemberaubende Aussicht vorallem nachts über Berlin....das Team ist klasse, die Preise etwas gehoben ....trotzdem kann ichs nur empfehlen...allein der Ausblick ist einen Besuch wert👍🏼

Der absolute Hammer was Alexander Koppe mit seinem Team dort kreiert. Das muss ihnen erst mal einer nachmachen. Die Gänge und Grüße aus der Küche waren auf jedenfall extrem gut. Die Weinbegleitung auf dem Punkt.

Meine Bewertung basiert auf eine Geschlossene Veranstaltung. Aber wenn man dort einen Sitzplatz am Fenster erhält ist es eine sehr schöne Aussicht.

Ein Erlebnis höchster Güte - ohne Kompromisse. Muss man ausprobiert haben. Punkt.

This is absolutely one of the finest and most wonderful place to eat in Berlin. Every-time I visit Berlin I always take my partner here. And ever since we’ve been here since 2021, we’ve had such a a magical experience with the team. Barbara is truly an Angel and she made our experience memorable! The food is remarkable and imaginative. I wish I could go through each dish and explain each one. I’d love to go back and make notes and write a proper review. The food is really amazing! 🥰 You must try this place. I would email ahead for any special occasion and I think you will be surprised. I wish for my next visit to connect with the team and take videos and photos of the food. This place needs more exposure and more people need to know about it. Super Küche und tolles Personal . Auch die Aussicht ist klasse,einfach hin, auch wenn schwer ein Platz zu bekommen ist.

Meine Schwester und Ich hatten einen super schönen Abend in der Skykitchen! Vom Ambiente, der Akustik, der Aussicht und natürlich dem Essen war alles ein rundes und super schönes Erlebnis. Mario hat uns professionell und freundlich durch den Abend begleitet. Insgesamt war es eine tolle Erfahrung, vielen Dank! :)

Sehr schöner Abend, mit super leckeren Essen, toller Aussicht, nettem Service und Klasse Ambiente. Beide Menüs haben absolut gehalten, was die Karte versprochen hat. Der Hauptgang des vegetarischen Menüs war nicht so unser Fall, würde aber auch sagen, dass das persönlicher Geschmack ist. Weiter so...
