THE best culinary experience of 2024 for me and I have been living vegan for 10 years and have tried a lot in Berlin What you get here is absolutely amazing! Nice cozy restaurant serving authentic Japanese food, cocktails and desserts. Went twice during our 5 days in Berlin.

The vegan ramen was excellent! The broth was rich and flavorful, and the toppings were fresh and well-balanced. A satisfying and delicious plant-based option.

Beautiful Ramen place, the starters and the Ramen were amazing. Their Yuzu Limonade was the most beautiful thing I've seen 😊 and it tasted heavenly. I'll def come back!

Nach meinem Geschmack, ohne in Japan gewesen zu sein, sehr sehr gute vegane japanische Küche. Verschiedene Vorspeisen, Ramen, alles super. Noch keinen Nachtisch probiert, dafür aber japanisches Bier welches sehr passend zum Essen ist.

Delicious smells and incredible choices on the menu. The starters, mains anc cocktails are all fantastic and we had the best kimchi + mushroom ramen I've had in Europe! Definitely will come again

We had miso ramen, the basil ramen and the tonkatsu curry. The latter is really tasty. As many have already described here: Ramen could taste more intense. Gyoza and kimchi are simple frozen or ready-made products, but great for the price.

The service was super friendly, the food came quickly. We were there a little before making the reservation and were lucky to get a table (during the week) - almost all the seats were occupied, reservations are strongly recommended. The ramen tasted super delicious! Clear recommendation.

I recently visited l and had mixed feelings about my experience. Unfortunately, I found the food to be quite disappointing and not to my taste at all. However, I must say that the cocktails were a highlight of the evening—really fancy and delicious! While the food didn't work for me, others might enjoy it more, so it could just be a matter of personal preference. If you’re in the mood for some creative cocktails, this place might be worth a visit, but I would recommend checking out the food options elsewhere.

A true wonderful surprise ! Shisomen offers a fusion with Japanese dish and veganism. And I gotta say I totally enjoyed it. Design wise : It’s a nice and well set place, subtle, with a feeling of comfy and cozy Japanese touch. Food wise : We got to try different appetizers and they were all pretty tasty. I got the shoyu ramen and even though it was not pork, it was still pretty tasty and broth really good. Cocktail wise : You gotta try their cocktail especially the Sakura Dream that was for me the best. Price wise : completely affordable and worth it regarding to the quality and the effort of making vegan food accessible. Loved the concept and will be back when I’m back in Berlin. You have to try it !

As s non vegetarian my udon noodle dish was delicious tasty and I love meat nothing was missed! The drinks were delicious and appropriately sized! I like big and full glasses/drinks. It was busy during a week night and compact! They do have an out door area . Might be a bit too compact for a wheel chair person to feel comfortable cannot remember if the entrance was flat for wheelchair but I want to say yes

Didn't convince me 100%. Price/performance was not given and the atmosphere was more like a canteen.

My favorite vegan Japanese restaurant in Berlin. I didn't think vegan cuisine could be so good... Delicious Ramen and Udon. The cocktails are a real treat. Attentive and very kind service. Highly recommended for anyone who loves Japanese cuisine. 😉👍

We had delicious vegan ramen and loved the cozy atmosphere. We reserved a table and glad we did because it was busy, understandably. Great drinks and recommend the gyoza’s!

The food was excellent and very well seasoned. The restaurant is cozy and clean, and the service was friendly and attentive.

Unfortunately, the vegan substitute is not convincing. The broths are too thin in flavor. Most of it looks good, but the taste can't keep up. And a bit too expensive for the performance.

The broth is good, but the vegan duck is unfortunately inedible. Rubber. Great appetizer - tempura cauliflower in sauce.

The place is very quiet and cozy, the service is friendly and little else. But the food was a delight, one of the best vegan places I tried, both the starters and the main dishes, without a doubt if I come to Berlin again it would be one of the places to repeat.

So good!! And fully vegan!! 💚 My favorite ramen in Berlin. The taste brings me back to the time I lived in Japan. I recently moved out of Berlin, but whenever I come to visit, this place is always on my list. Highly recommended!

10/10! If you're in the area, definitely eat there! I ate the best gyozas there and the ramen is simply incredibly delicious! Very aromatic broth, lots of content and enough different dishes that there is something for everyone. I will definitely go again when I'm back in Berlin.

Found the ramen a bit overrated and I think there are better alternatives in Berlin. The service is very friendly and you can pay by card.

Very tasty Tonkotsu/Tantanmen Ramen and Kirin on tap! Business lunch including Japanese tea is very reasonably priced.

Long story short: -Damn good food -Extremely fast and friendly service -Great value for money Gladly again!

The miso ramen broth lacked depth in flavour and the umami miso taste I was hoping for. Good chew on the noodle. The restaurant seems to be run by a Vietnamese family. Service was great and it was well priced.

Starters were very convincing - my main course didn't taste as good as the price. Otherwise, be sure to reserve in advance during the week :)

A great discovery! Unfortunately we only had a short time, but they were considerate and served us quickly. We had 3 cocktails and 3 dishes. All were outstanding! The cocktails were perfectly seasoned. The ramen was fantastic and put many (meat/veggy) ramens we've tried before to shame. We will recommend the restaurant to everyone and are already looking forward to our next visit to Berlin.

Lovely staff and food is delicious! Can recommend this place, ordered 2 starters and two mains & a drink. Worth it! If i had to order again, I wouldn’t go for the pesto udon, as it was very heavy. I’d go for another soup dish. The noddles were cooked perfectly and they’re very thin. Broth was lovely too.

Delicious ramen that hit the spot!! We got the Shiso Gyoza, Tontaksu Ramen and Tantan Ramen. Both ramens were equally good. The gyoza was a prepared differently from what I'm used to so I didn't enjoy it as much. It was a bit sticky and chewy. The staff was friendly and service was fast.

Shisomen is such a vibe! Specially on a cold, winter day. Their ramen is good and very unique considering it’s so veggie and vegan friendly! It’s a bit pricey, but the dishes speak for themselves. - @osofoodies

It’s worth the trip, an exquisite dish

Friendly and quick service. We were lucky and got a small table for three. Two of us with no experience of Japanese cuisine. We enjoyed it. A recommendation, especially for vegetarians or vegans.

Went here with a non-vegan Indian friend who only realized he was eating vegan when he read the menu😂. He wasn't thrilled at first. But after trying his wonton ramen, the day was saved. Our food was very tasty and really extremely tasty.😋👏🏼👍🏼

Ambiance is really authentic and cozy at the same time. Short waiting time, friendly staff and a nice selection. Ramen was very tasty and the portion was quite large, the gyoza were too greasy for me personally, but the taste was ok. Definitely a recommendation

Incredible attention to detail. The dishes were perfectly seasoned and nothing bit into each other. If a meat eater ate like that, I think switching to a vegetarian or vegan diet wouldn't be that difficult. ;)

The food is terrible. Don’t understand why it was rated high! The dumplings are all sticking together and red in color! The ramen is like sticky pasta!

We headed here on a cold and rainy day in search of comforting lunch. The decor was harmonious, service excellent and food moreish. I particularly enjoyed the mushroom gyozas.

Really great! We were able to take a seat without a reservation for a quick bite within an hour. The food is really delicious. My friend who is not a vegetarian also enjoyed it. Great place just outside the city. Spent 38 euros for 2 large bowls of food and 2 bottles of water. Also very friendly staff. Toilets were fine. Recommended!

Unusually delicious cocktails, both virgin and alcoholic. Vegan meat is sometimes undistinguishable from real meat. Good job!

It was my second time there and I can recommend the Lotus Gyoza as a starter. The broth in the frames is strong, flavorful and delicious, which is something I have experienced differently with vegan frames. You will definitely be full too. I would also particularly highlight the mocktails (unfortunately I forgot the names). The alcoholic plum cocktail is also very tasty. The location is a bit quieter, even though it's still in the middle and groups of tourists often walk past, but that doesn't bother you at all
