Shisomen-Vegan Ramen und Cocktail in Berlin

These were the best ramen we've ever eaten. Being able to choose from the entire menu as a vegan was fantastic, the prices were more than fair, and the service was very friendly and extremely fast. The two of us paid €55 for the appetizer, ramen, drinks, and tip. We'll definitely be back!

Amazing vegan Ramen place, literally my favourite Ramen ever, so mich flavour and deep taste ✨ we also loved the cocktails, especially the whiskey sour with Yuzu and Shiso, and also the tea with goji berries in it. Absolutely perfect and delicious 🤤 will come again

Delicious ramen, great cocktails and super friendly staff.

The broth was so flavorful especially for a vegan one. I personally was not a fan of the vegan meat replacement and would have rather preferred tofu! ☺️

I've only tried Tantan Ramen so far. It tasted delicious and I would come back for it again.

The broth in the ramen was unfortunately weak and there wasn't enough of it. We didn't even get a chance to use the regne (spice). The vegetables were cold to lukewarm. We also didn't receive attentive service, so after ten minutes we had to go to the counter ourselves to ask for more. There were only three tables occupied at the time. The price for such uninspired ramen was exorbitant, and it's not worth the trip just for vegan ramen that's more expensive than regular ramen.

The ramen in the restaurant and the appetizers are very tasty. We particularly liked the wantan with beetroot. The service is friendly, but not overly attentive, which is not a problem. Some of the high chairs are missing the wooden bars to support your feet, which is not ideal when sitting for long periods of time.

Fast and friendly service, an interesting selection of ramen on the menu, and very tasty food. I'd gladly come again.

A wide variety of vegan ramen! I have food intolerances and they were very kind, giving me great advice. We tried gyozas, taro tempura, and two types of ramen, and everything was delicious. The non-alcoholic yuzu cocktail is the best I've ever had! Thank you so much for such great vegan food! 💞

Last weekend, my sister and I went here after looking for a place to eat. Even though I'm not vegan, the food was great, and it was a really special experience for my first time at a vegan restaurant. I ordered the Tanatan Ramen, which was served with pretty good vegan "beef." It was spicier than I expected, but very tasty and kept me nice and warm afterward. My sister ordered the Curry Ramen with the mushroom skewers, which was also really good. The place is very cozy inside, and the waitress was very friendly. We also ordered two mocktails, which were delicious as well. In total, we paid €55, but that included tip and drinks. You can expect to pay around €10–20 per person for the food, which is really fair for the quality and the location (close to the center of Berlin). Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant.

The restaurant is beautiful, not too expensive, and the food is delicious! The service was quick and very friendly, and they spoke English for us tourists. We'll be back during our stay!

Had a ramen noodle soup ŵhich had brocoli and baby bok choy that were so tough to bite into, I was surprised. The broth was mediocre and had that tastemaker whiff. It also sat heavily in the stomach more than 3 hrs after lunch which is unusual for good ramen noodle dishes. If you are a habitual vegetarian, be aware that places in berlin serve average quality produce than that found elsewhere. I think they are good for people transitioning into veg/veganism or for those who want to have meatless days. Keep expectations low and you wont be disappointed. PS: our clothes and hair smelt of sesame oil despite walking for hours outdoors for 2 days! Hair cld be washed but how to get the smell out of our jackets when we are tourists?!😪

A dream come true!!! I've been here several times and it's always fantastic. No matter what you order, everything is incredibly delicious. An absolute must, whether you're vegan or not.

One of the most delicious vegan ramens I have had and I say this after trying different ones in London and Amsterdam and this one is up there. Smells so good even before you enter the restaurant service and atmosphere is amazing and food is so delicious I had the Tonkotsu Ramen 🍜 the broth, noodles and veggies were really good flavourful and crunchy. I really recommend it if you are in Berlin.

The variety of vegan dishes surprised me; I'm more used to a more limited menu in vegan restaurants, which is a huge plus! But if anything surprised me, it was the explosion of flavor in all three ramen we ate that was incomparable! The interior completes the experience; beautiful decor, and the restrooms were very clean. The evening was rounded off with high-class cocktails that you wouldn't have expected at all, or with some really good yuzu tea. This is a place that's now on my list whenever I'm in Berlin, and I'd love to show it to all my friends.

Honestly best Ramen I have ever eaten. A perfect place to go to during the week, with a cheap business lunch option that comes with a delicious tea and a ramen of your Choice- I personally recommend the Tantan Ramen for 11.9 € and the gyozas are also very tasty. 100% recommend.

A fantastic new vegan discovery that I'm absolutely thrilled about! I highly recommend the beetroot gyoza and beetroot wonton. And the delicious "High Five" cocktail, too. The restrooms are very clean. The air is better in the front room.

Top-notch vegan tonkotsu ramen! Plus fancy drinks.

We arrived without a reservation, and the restaurant was full 15 minutes after opening. They treated us very kindly and we managed to get a great seat. The four of us shared a few appetizers and everything was delicious! The main course was also delicious. The staff is very friendly. We'd love to come back! We especially recommend: Enoki gyoza & beetroot wonton as a starter Curry ramen as a main course And the strawberry drink (made with Japanese yogurt) and the tea (with dates, goji berries?) Everything was delicious! 😋

Opening in autumn 2022. Easy access, within walking distance of the Brandenburg Gate. This vegan-style ramen and bar serves some very unique ramen. The recommended dish is the "Shiso-Tomaten Ramen," a mysterious seafood salt ramen with a Japanese-Western feel, topped with a large piece of shiso. It's delicious. The noodles are medium-thin, flat, and slightly curly, making them easy to eat. The cherry tomatoes are marinated and have a strong sour taste. This ramen is aimed more at locals than at Japanese people, and evokes the feeling of ramen in the global era.

We finished a 3 hour Berlin walking tour with quite an appetite and were happy to find this vegan ramen place nearby. Luckily, it was a weekday, so we could take advantage of the business lunch - 13.90€, if I remember correctly, for a ramen or curry and a tea. There are some unique menu options, I got the "green cheese" ramen with vegan chicken. Delicious basil oil lends the "green" flavour to the broth, full of al dente noodles. I also got a side of gyoza - one of each flavour, my favourite was beetroot. My partner got the more traditional Japenese curry and really enjoyed it too. We both chose our favourite genmaicha. The staff here were very sweet and the interior was calming and charming.

In my opinion, Tan Tan Ramen is the best vegan ramen in Berlin and the staff are really accommodating.

Nice atmosphere inside, ramen taste-wise was rarher good but not great — also my toppings were cold while the soup was warm. Still not bad… The beetroot wonton starter though was wonderful.

I was at the restaurant in the evening, at a table for one person. I was served quickly, and getting a seat without a reservation wasn't a problem. The menu offers a variety of vegetarian and vegan dishes. I had the tonkatsu curry, a non-alcoholic cocktail, and the mochi ice cream for dessert. The curry, in particular, was incredibly delicious and well worth recommending. I would recommend the restaurant and visit again.

The curry dish was unbelievable. The flavors of each item were unique and delicious! The ramen was also outstsnding. Highlight of our european trip so far!

Great experience, everything was perfect. A small neighborhood restaurant that doesn't look like much from the outside, we went there at random and were delighted with our choice. The dishes were tasty, the ingredients fresh, the place warm. We enjoyed the Curry Ramen and its mushroom skewers. The mocktails were also delicious. I recommend it 100%.

The food was really good, and even as someone who isn't a big fan of ramen, there were still some great options on the menu. The portions are generous, and if you want a little more, you can easily order more noodles.

This place had incredible drinks including ones with vegan egg white!? Ramen was spectacular! Apps looked and tasted amazing! I would definitely go back, as all of their menu looks so good and I only tried a few things.

Strangely enough, they have some very interesting cocktails here that I can highly recommend to anyone. You feel like you're drinking something completely new, which is extremely rare these days. The ramen is also very tasty. My only complaint is that the warm sake is always empty when I arrive, but that ultimately speaks volumes about the popularity of this establishment. I would recommend it with 4.8 stars, but I'm happy to round it up :)

Been there yesterday, nice service, food was so delicious and so quickly prepared, that I just went to the bathroom for a sec and the food was already on my table when I was back! Cocktails were also amazing! I recommend Sakura Dream, they add very cool “bubble” on top of it right before you and the taste and color is so nice! Definitely go there! I was having lunch, three drinks and dessert. Wish we have some kind of this Japanese vegan restaurant in my country as well, would spent there all of my money!

A cool fully vegan ramen and cocktail spot. You might need to book a table for the outside on a hot day! The ramen itself had a really rich creamy broth. Probably one of the best broths I've ever had for ramen. The vegetables were nice, they were kept a little bit crunchy. I didn't love the fake meat it was quite dense but my boyfriend liked it so it's just preference. This is definitely somewhere worth checking out!

If you're craving vegan/vegetarian Japanese food, this is the place to go. For starters, we had "yasai Karaage" (baked cauliflower with a delicate salad) and "beetroot gyoza" with silken tofu. For the main course, we had "tonkotsu" (vegan beef) and "tantan" ramen with vegan minced meat. All served with crisp, fresh vegetables in a delicate blend of flavorful broth and light ramen. The Geisha Fizz aperitif recommendation was fantastic for my taste. The various homemade lemonades were equally delicious. The service was extremely friendly and attentive. An all-around wonderful way to end another day in Berlin.

The flavors were incredible with very rich broths in all the for Ramen dishes we ordered. Also the "beef" topping in the tonkotsu ramen was very realistic and made me question for a moment whether it's really vegan. The mocktails were also delicious. Overall a bit pricier but highly recommended

The presentation and atmosphere are nice, and the selection of vegan options is excellent. The plant based ramen flavours are good, not mindblowing, but the alcohol free mocktail is great! I got the hibiscus lychee passionfruit one.

Very good restaurant, with a wide selection on this entirely vegan menu! There were wasps, but because of the sugary drinks served, it was still a very good meal.

100% vegan friendly. Visited Shisomen during a recent trip to Berlin. Ordered several different starters including tofu, edamame and gyoza which was all delicious. For my main, I had curry based ramen with grilled mushrooms on skewers and vegetables. Delicious food. Various alcohol and mocktails available as well as an assortment of hot beverages. We visited at 8pm on Saturday with a reservation though were tables available both indoors and outdoors. Two unisex cubicles toilets available.

Best place for vegan ramen! Great food with very good service. I’ve been here a couple of times and it’s always a great experience. Tried several ramen noodle dishes and dumplings and the lotus leaf starter too. All were good, always with the layered flavours I ate the first time I was there. The ambiance is lovely too. I saw they even have Japanese style seating… so could be nice for a group meal.

The drinks were very tasty and special. We had the Tantan Ramen: it was also really good, but we've had better, hence only 4 stars. The restaurant is really nice. You can sit inside and outside. There are restrooms, and card payments are accepted.

A nice little Ramen place nestled around the corner of the street with a great variety of Ramen. The food was delicious and the portion size was large. If you have a child, they might not be able to finish the Ramen. The restaurant is small but yet manages to be roomy to fit a lot of folks. This is a great place for vegetarians. The only complaint I have is about the AC. There was really no air flowing through

Very good food, with a focus on variations of the Japanese noodle soup ramen. Other dishes are also offered. The gyoza dumplings are highly recommended. We had appetizers, main courses, and dessert, hence the higher price range. If you only order one ramen dish, you'll get a better price. The ambiance is quite nice; don't let the fact that this restaurant is located in a prefabricated building from the GDR put you off. The staff are very attentive and extremely friendly.
