Last night i was again there at 1:30 am and they said again that they are closing thats why they can not sell food to me. This place is a joke!

Bad service, the opening hours that appear online are not real. You cannot buy food at around 1am (even they are supposed to close at 2am). Such a disappointment to go till there for nothing.

Forget best shawarma in Düsseldorf, this is the best shawarma in Germany, maybe even Europe.

The only problem is the long queue. Since it is “the best shawarma” in Düsseldorf, there are always a lot of guests. The employees do their best, but they have to keep to a certain pace, which means that the quality of the food is somewhat lost. There is lamb (which is very good and unusual) and chicken (no veal), but these are both quite dry. The ordering process is also rather careless due to the speed, which is a real shame. It's definitely not worth waiting for more than 15 minutes. It's best to go when the line isn't that big, otherwise you'll find good shawarma elsewhere :)

A solid shawarma for a good price, I think what sets the store apart is the hygiene. Great attention is paid to cleanliness and the food tastes delicious. Good price-performance ratio. There is often a long queue but it usually only takes about 10 minutes, the employees are very quick.

Very tasty and always a good alternative if you don't have time to eat somewhere else.

Tried lamb and chicken shawarma and falafel here. I found everything very tasty and juicy, tasted fresh and the extra dollop of hummus rounded things off brilliantly. Service was quick. There may be queues here at peak times.

The queue is definitely worth it. A homemade chicken skewer and fresh salad. The organization is good, so you don't have to wait too long despite the long queue.

The store has improved significantly and I would like to highlight the positive changes. The counter is now cleaned regularly and is no longer as greasy as it used to be. The chicken is particularly recommended as it is juicy and well seasoned. Each employee now has their own work area, and there is actually someone who only stands at the cash register and accepts the money. These improvements have made the entire experience much more enjoyable. I used to be disappointed with this store. Even though they had one person dedicated solely to rolling the shawarma and wearing gloves, it didn't help much when the same person first took my money and then used the same hands to dip the shawarma in oil and hold it up to the grill. The counter was also very greasy and the overall experience was not satisfactory. At that time I decided not to eat there again. But now I would definitely eat there again. Price performance is right and you can see it in the success of the restaurant.

I ordered Chicken No. 1 and Lamb No. 11, and they had the right amount of meat and garlic sauce. The salad was rolled and grilled, and the skin was crispy, so it went well with the contents and was delicious. I couldn't go during meal times because the line was too long, so I went when the line was a little longer. Long cucumber pickles like Korean pickled radish are a godsend. They’re delicious. After eating it, I understand why there is a line. The price is very cheap, but the taste is high quality. I received a friendly response and said see you tomorrow. I know why you said that. After eating one, I want to eat again. I think I could eat two too 😂 I need to go eat again before I go home.

Everything is fine there. Orders are quick. The food is very tasty. The employees are friendly. The restaurant is clean. There are just no seats, just standing tables. Apart from that, I only go to Düsseldorf to eat shawarma.

Overhyped…. Marinate chicken and lamb has so much cinnamon and cloves flavour You will only taste Pickels nothing else I throw mine in the middle and my friend open it and remove all pickles

The taste is simply TOP and that on Saturday evening!!! We ordered the chicken shawarma, as a sandwich and as a box. Both are simply great! P.S. On the weekend you have to expect a 30 minute wait & you can't really eat there, it's more suitable for takeaway.

From the moment I took the first bite, I knew this was something special. The meat was perfectly seasoned—juicy and tender with a nice, slightly crisp edge from the grill. Only meat is excellent. The rest is rubbish. Simple atmosphere. the bread smells like burning gas. !!! Not recommended!

the shawarma is good and the chicken is good. The lamb sold out by 9 p.m. You wrap thin bread over the pita bread, which makes it nice and crispy. However, the store is full so they are in a hurry. The topping was wrong, poor topping distribution, the first half had toppings, barely any chicken and the bottom half had chicken but no toppings. Still a good bite, but be prepared for a bad pairing. Mine was burnt too, so the burnt part had a bad taste

I've been a customer since the beginning, when the store was just a few meters away. Within a year, the store expanded rapidly. A very friendly owner who still lives taste and service. The store has expanded but the quality is still good. This is definitely the best shawarma in town. I can recommend it without hesitation. The queue in front of the store is often huge, but it still goes relatively quickly. A good addition to a snack in between. Although the store has expanded, it is still not particularly inviting to eat in the store. The store is not designed for that. Quite okay when standing or on bar stools. But the food is recommended to be taken away. Very interesting to see with previously three men behind the counter now up to 10 employees. Wish you continued success.

[Sat May 25th, 2024] I happened to pass by there on a Saturday afternoon and since the "queue" only consisted of 2 or 3 people, I took the chance and tried the popular shawarma, for which people usually queue forever, as I had heard. The shawarma was really delicious. Mine was with chicken and the combination of the individual components was very good for a five euro meal on hand. On Japan Day I went by there again around midnight and saw how long the line usually is - I was lucky.

There is usually a queue in front of it. We tried it on the recommendation of a friend from Hatay. The chicken shawarma was good.

Despite the gentle treatment. Shawarma skewer white and completely raw 80% 😳😳😳... And I asked??? Teacher, why is the meat so white? He told me that Takram will eat meat (Shawarma Levantine) according to his principles 🤔. Honestly, this is the first time in my life that I see shawarma (boiled) with dough bread 🧐 In all honesty, the food is unacceptable and far from the ancient Levantine and Syrian cuisine.

Since I heard so much about them, you remember Abu Hatim Basham’s shawarma itself, seriously, without exaggerating. Everything you mentioned is the only excuse. If there is no place to sit, may God bless them and open a place of greatest concern, and although there is no place for us to stop and eat, the owner of a shop has allocated a place for us at a discount, so we can eat diligently with taste.

Tried this place based on earlier good reviews, I ordered a lamb shawarma. Meat was very low quality, so many chewy pieces that in the end I threw it away. Quick service though (but for what?). Disappointing.

There always seems to be a queue here. It's basically steak kebab. With a little salt and pepper on the meat the meal could have been 5*. It's a snack so don't sit down
