I've been a customer since the beginning, when the store was just a few meters away. Within a year, the store expanded rapidly. A very friendly owner who still lives taste and service. The store has expanded but the quality is still good. This is definitely the best shawarma in town. I can recommend it without hesitation. The queue in front of the store is often huge, but it still goes relatively quickly. A good addition to a snack in between. Although the store has expanded, it is still not particularly inviting to eat in the store. The store is not designed for that. Quite okay when standing or on bar stools. But the food is recommended to be taken away. Very interesting to see with previously three men behind the counter now up to 10 employees. Wish you continued success.

[Sat May 25th, 2024] I happened to pass by there on a Saturday afternoon and since the "queue" only consisted of 2 or 3 people, I took the chance and tried the popular shawarma, for which people usually queue forever, as I had heard. The shawarma was really delicious. Mine was with chicken and the combination of the individual components was very good for a five euro meal on hand. On Japan Day I went by there again around midnight and saw how long the line usually is - I was lucky.

We went a few days ago to the best, best shawarma restaurant in all of Germany that dealt with customers with the utmost sophistication, taste, shawarma, and the best price. I was shocked. May God bless them many times over. They deserve it. I was coming from another city. Since I heard so much about them, you remember Abu Hatim Basham’s shawarma itself, seriously, without exaggerating. Everything you mentioned is the only excuse. If there is no place to sit, may God bless them and open a place of greatest concern, and although there is no place for us to stop and eat, the owner of a shop has allocated a place for us at a discount, so we can eat diligently with taste.

I've been to 63 countries and have never had such good shawarma! Very nice staff and despite the constant queue, it never takes longer than 15 minutes every day. It's worth it!!! I wish there were seating options.

The shawarma is below average, maybe it is good in Dusseldorf standards, but you can get a lot better in Dubai, Armenia,… waited like 10 minutes. No place to seat. Service is ok for these kind of places. Would not recommend to go. Overpriced.

Tried this place based on earlier good reviews, I ordered a lamb shawarma. Meat was very low quality, so many chewy pieces that in the end I threw it away. Quick service though (but for what?). Disappointing.

Tens of people received their sandwiches in front of me, even though I was waiting for my sandwich right at the counter. When I asked the employee about it after a while, he said he had been waiting for me and gave me the sandwich according to his wishes and I was handed a cold piece of bread.

I revoke my positive rating!! Been here again after ages. Waiting in line for 15 hungry minutes, only to find out that you can only pay with a card if you spend 10 euros or more. My value: 09.00 euros! So I had to go hungry again!! A mess to the power of ten!! All over Europe you buy chewing gum with a card! People are starving in Germany! AWKWARD!!!! I'm pissed and I'm never coming back!! You don't seem to need money and the customer is just a burden instead of a king!!!

We were there as a group of friends, the food was prepared quickly and everything went great. Most of us enjoyed it too, but unfortunately we all suffered from stomach cramps followed by very bad trips to the toilet due to the food.

I actually just wanted to relax and enjoy my shawarma, but suddenly a fight broke out among the customers. The shock took a toll on me and I was even shaking. But in the end we got our shawarma - and it was delicious 👍

I came at 1:40 there is people who is ordering and eating inside. They easily told me sorry bro there is no more! If you write that you are closing at 02:00 am make it true!!

Went there for the first time yesterday. The line stretched all the way to the street, there were at least 20 people in front of us. After 25 minutes it was our turn and we ordered 2 Chicken Shawarma Classic. Delicious

We had a lamb shawarma and a chicken shawarma. Both tasted good, but a bit dry. Unfortunately, the lamb shawarma had very little meat in it. Everything has to go quickly during the ordering process - there's no time for questions or you have to expect annoyed faces from the employees. The store is busy at any time of the day, so expect a bit of a wait. Due to the many customers there is a lot of rubbish on and under the tables, but it is rarely cleaned.

I really enjoy trying shawarma in different places. This shop is one of the best ten shawarma shops I visited in NRW, BW and Berlin. The sandwich was generously filled with juicy meat. Lovely again.

Schwarma is rather mediocre. Internet harms the store. Expectations are too high and schwarma are rather dry if you want to eat them classic. You only taste the garlic sauce and no pomegranate molasses or anything else. Pickles were okay. Meat was well fried. However, not recommended for a shop that specializes in schwarma. SaarChef in Saarbrücken does it better, it is juicier, more intense in taste and a lot bigger for comparable prices. However, the store is cheap. The only plus point.

Shawarma like you would eat in Lebanon and Syria. Original and true to recipe taste. Both lamb and chicken are delicious, although chicken with garlic cream is definitely my favorite. The queue in front of it speaks volumes about the store. Only cash payment possible.
