Great, I can't describe it any other way. We had albodingas, fajita, polla habana and tiramisu for dessert. The restaurant is lovingly furnished and has many paintings. The service was great, very helpful and accommodating. The food was very good and we enjoyed it excellently. Especially the sour cream, which is usually nothing special elsewhere, gave the fajitas a special taste. Very clear recommendation 👍🏼

Celebrated my birthday with a great meal there on Saturday... the food was great, the sangria and cocktails were great... even though the shop was completely full, great organization, Alke was very relaxed, friendly... loved us felt very comfortable

Very quaint and authentic restaurant with super delicious food And on certain days there is also live music. During our visit there were two Brazilian samba dancers there in the summer, very nice to see. There are enough toilets in the basement that are very clean. And the spare ribs are particularly recommended. What did we really like here? We will definitely come back.

Great food and an amazing atmosphere

Overall the restaurant was fine, but the food was just okay, not great or worth going out of your way. The bread for the table and empanadas were the best things we had. My biggest gripe though was with the burrito they had a salad with mustard dressing that did not go together or complement each other at all. It really clashed and kind of ruined the flavor. The chicken in the fajitas was fairly dry as well. The service was friendly and quick overall.

The beautifully decorated restaurant is simply a work of art. It makes me feel happy to be in it. In terms of dishes, the whole Dorade that my friend ordered was quite good. The fried salmon with orange juice that I ordered was hard and dry, and it cost 25 or 95 euros. Not recommended at all.

Very good evening and would recommend. Except - it was quite empty and our bill was 116 euro (2 people). I asked them to add 10% tip - but I now see they added 20% and charged us 135 euros when I ”tapped”. So check your bill if you eat here

It's really sad when you order Australian rump steak for just under €39.00, with a degree of doneness medium rare and it comes almost well-done, and then you get a replacement that also comes almost well-done. The chef obviously can't fry steaks. And the price level is so high that you would expect exactly the opposite. The service and the ambience are great. But if you can't get a decent rump steak for almost €40, it's all for naught. We wanted to celebrate our Christmas party with the company there. Not anymore. Of course there was no apology, no coffee on the house or anything else. Well, you probably don't have to do that in Düsseldorf's old town.

The staff was very friendly and made a special effort on my birthday. The table was beautifully decorated with balloons and a cake was brought at the end. My friend organized this in advance, but the team implemented everything lovingly and with great care 😊

My brother and I were on a trip to Düsseldorf. While walking, we came across this restaurant. The food and service is very friendly. Very nice and hospitable atmosphere. It's rare to find such a good atmosphere. It's really great here! Smiling service and always at your disposal. Even though it was late, we were able to spend a good time there and talk. The restaurant's interior takes you to another, Latin world, also thanks to the music. I will definitely go back there as soon as possible. I recommend and will recommend it to others who are looking for something original.

The service for us was nice and attentive, but on the one hand the food is too expensive and on the other hand it has nothing, absolutely nothing, to do with Mexican food, which should probably be the model for the fajitas we chose. The fajita carne consisted of a steak strips and mushroom pan prepared with generic seasoning salt, as well as guacamole, cheese and a mild red sauce as mixed side dishes that you could pack yourself into small wraps. You were well fed, but quality and, above all, authenticity would still be more important to me than quantity.

The food and the ambience is great! The waiter should already be able to speak German. Unfortunately that wasn't the case. Therefore the wrong dish came to the table. He wasn't attentive enough. Unfortunately I don't know what his name is. He's a tall, thin Arab/Turk? We would be happy to come back with the hope of being served by someone else.

We enjoyed the food and the portions were great. Personally, I found the beef a little bit tough, but you could tell it was fresh, so no deduction for that.

Very nice restaurant with incredible murals. Really great Cuban flair. The food is very tasty, deductions in the B grade for the beef in the burrito, it was too cooked, but still tasted good. We had a great dinner here and the service was always attentive but never intrusive. Very friendly and with heart, what more could you want, we'll be back!!!

Delicious fajitas! The experience of how it is delivered, on a hot, simmering plate, makes it extra special. And it tasted delicious! The bread beforehand is also delicious. Seeing the steaks arrive at the table on a hot plate makes me want to come back and try these. When I went to the toilet I discovered that I had already had a delicious meal here 7 years ago and because of the attractive decor (we sat outside, so I didn't notice this immediately) I immediately recognized it when I entered. The only downside: it took a long time before we could pay. But it was also busy. The staff was super friendly!

Food is good but very small portion. Two small empanadas for eur 7,90? The staff was friendly and even moved us to a better table when we asked as we were celebrating a birthday. There was no air conditioning and we were very bothered, not comfortable. The music is very loud, specially when the dancer comes for the Performance.

The ambience was quite impressive, which is also the reason why we chose this restaurant. The food was nothing special, especially not at this price. We ordered fajitas for 27 euros each, which were pretty average, but you would have been just as well served with a 6 euro falafel from across the street. It's better to look around on a less touristy street, you'll definitely find something better there.

The atmosphere with decorations and everything is quite nice. Unfortunately, the jobs are stingy - the waiters are visibly overwhelmed, so you are often overlooked or forgotten. The food is nothing surprisingly exotic and a bit overpriced. We had the fajitas, which I would have done better at home. You can definitely find better things in the area.

Full on a Saturday, like almost all the restaurants on the street, but people understood each other from a distance with looks and signs... and we were sitting at a table. The restaurant is beautifully decorated..."kitschy" but with style. The menu arrived quickly and we ordered. The dishes were brought to the table quickly, but our table was too small for all the plates. But I saw that everyone who ordered had their food quite quickly. Our dishes tasted really good and there was plenty on the plates. However, the guacamole was a little flat, sour cream and salsa were good. The wine was so good...The staff were consistently friendly. I think the prices are a bit excessive...maybe due to the location or Düsseldorf. We'll still come back :-)

When it was clear that I wasn't going to leave a tip this time and wanted to pay by card, a higher amount was entered into the device, which luckily I just noticed. Amazing Latin restaurant in heart of Düsseldorf! Staffs, vibe and food were extraordinary. Steak on hot stone was super tasty and you could have steak from rare to wel-done and there was a sauce on it that made it super delicious. Lamb chop was good and vegetables cooked very well. They brought main dish exactly on time after appetizer. Don’t forget to order warm bread with garlic sauce! Vibe of restaurant was great with voice of happiness. Definitely recommend to Latin food lovers.

Was there at lunchtime, really good and quick cuisine! The meat is incredible! It is crispy but still juicy. You can try chicken, beef and lamb with the skewer. The vegetables with it are also wonderful! The mini empanadas are delicious too. The herb butter is also really tasty.

Really nice shop, service was OK but nothing more. The food and especially the prices charged for it are not justified. Completely overpriced. Not worth it at all. Price performance is simply below average even for Düsseldorf.

Very lovely place with Cuban atmosphere. Inside of restaurant there are very beautiful and eye catching paintings and accesories on the wall. We ordered some local soup with beef and soup with seafoods. The second one was very tasty. But we didn’t like the soup with beef and chili. It was like a meal more than a soup. First time I saw a soup that has too little fluid inside. I don’t know about other meals, but I think you should visit this place if you are in Düsseldorf and tired of monotone places.

There are many interesting varieties on the menu, from paella to steak on the stone.

A Spanish / Latino themed restaurant. The food was fine, good portions and served quickly by good friendly staff. This was a busy Saturday evening when Germany were playing their Euro 2024 game and we did well to get a table and this probably detracted from the service level as it was busy and the staff were trying to serve people quickly. However, this is not a complaint, they coped well with the number of large groups, we were a group of eight, in the restaurant, especially as I assume a lot were walk ins without reservations, like us. Overall, a good choice if you're in Dusseldorf and want a reasonably priced meal with a decent selection.

Tip, eat in! It's very nice and there's an atmosphere - we would have known that better if there was music that matched the theme...

You get bread with garlic dip and roasted peppers as appetizers which were delicious and nice and garlicy We had chicken and pork meat with vegetables and tortillas. Everything was properly spiced! One of my favorite restaurants in all of Germany. The chef and servers are so lovely. The food is so flavorful. Ate here 4 times during our 3-day trip and would definitely fly back just for their mini empanadas and ceviche alone.

I watched the European Championship semi-finals here and there was a super cool South American half-time show with music, dancing and partying at half time. 3.5/5. We ordered the 3 meats they had and they were nothing remarkable. Maybe we should have ordered the fajitas and other Mexican things seeing the recommendations. The bread with aioli was really good, but the rest was nothing remarkable as I mentioned before. Mention that for certain things the price is excessive (€8.9 for a 75cl bottle of water).

We've been there several times and found it delicious every time. The only thing I find a bit unfortunate is that you now have less on your plate but for more money (e.g. no more rice).
