We've eaten at Anno many times, and this time we celebrated a 70th birthday there with 23 people in a private room. It was beautifully decorated, and the tables were arranged as agreed. We ordered à la carte. The food was excellent, and the service was very attentive and friendly! All the guests felt very comfortable. A heartfelt thank you to Ingrid and her entire team!

The staff is very friendly and the food is very good. The prices aren't too high, and on Fridays it's Ladies' Day, when drinks are even cheaper.

A typical neighborhood restaurant/pub with good food and a wide selection. I came here for dinner during the week. The service was very friendly, it was busy, and I chose the mixed grill. The accompanying mixed salad arrived first and was very tasty. The mixed grill and fries were also delicious. Wonderful, a nice evening.

I've lived in Düsseldorf Eller for eight years now. Today was the first time I ever ate at the Arno restaurant. The reason for this was that the menu seemed far too extensive to be of high quality. That was my mistake. I have rarely eaten as well as I did tonight—the quality of the food, the presentation of the food, the details on the plate. It was simply exquisite. I have rarely eaten as well anywhere in the world as I did in this restaurant tonight, and therefore I'm happy to revise my opinion that an extensive menu doesn't necessarily indicate quality. At Anno, you can enjoy any kind of food, regardless of its origin. This was the first time we visited Arno, but not the last!!! I only rated the ambiance four points because we sat outside and didn't see the interior. Nevertheless, overall, I gave it five stars. Our meal consisted of an appetizer, a main course, a dessert, a double Nespresso, and a drink with the meal. I then marked the total price in the review.

We visited this restaurant for the first time this weekend and were absolutely thrilled. From the greeting to the payment, everyone was very friendly and attentive. The food was excellent, top quality at reasonable prices. The manager welcomed us with a schnapps. Thank you so much for the lovely evening.

I ate at this restaurant for the first time a while ago, after hearing several reports about the excellent cuisine, and I can confirm: The food was truly excellent. Compliments to the kitchen! The taste and craftsmanship were of a very high standard; there's nothing to complain about. However, I regret to say that my visit otherwise left a rather unpleasant impression, and as an older gentleman, I place great value on a well-kept ambiance and respectful manners. First, I noticed that there was dust on the windowsills—not just a little, but so much that it was obvious that the place hadn't been thoroughly cleaned in a while. That's not fitting for a restaurant that otherwise boasts such impressive culinary offerings. More shocking, however, was a scene I witnessed: A dropped piece of cutlery was promptly picked up by an employee and immediately placed back in the cutlery drawer, supposedly clean. For me, an absolute no-go in the restaurant industry. Hygiene is paramount, especially in a restaurant. What struck me most, however, was the way the manager treated me as a guest and, from what I overheard behind the scenes, her own employees. When I had a minor question, it was immediately interpreted as an attack and met with an unprofessional, almost rude reaction. I'm not someone who speaks quickly, but at that moment, I didn't feel welcome as a guest, but rather a nuisance. The way I saw and heard the way the employees were spoken to was also strange to me and seemed anything but respectful. As I said: The food is truly excellent. High praise for that. Unfortunately, the surrounding circumstances, and especially the behavior of the manager, spoiled my appetite to such an extent that I will only order takeaway from now on; I don't want to eat there under these circumstances. It's a shame, really, because this place has great culinary potential.

We went to Anno1909 for dinner "for the first time in a long time." I ordered a "hunter's style" schnitzel and specifically requested a "large portion" of fries. When the food arrived, disappointment was also inevitable. I don't want to know what a typical portion of fries looks like there. The schnitzel was pounded very thin and poorly presented with a little sauce. Overall, there was far too little on the plate! Okay service, decent ambiance. But, definitely not going back to this restaurant. Bad value for money 👎🏼

The decor is of course a matter of taste. A bit old men's style. But their pizzas are incredibly good. There's nothing you can say.

The atmosphere in the restaurant exudes a pleasant cosiness. The menu offers an interesting selection of dishes to suit every taste. The service is attentive and friendly without being intrusive. The quality of the food is excellent and leaves nothing to be desired. A visit to this restaurant is absolutely recommended.

I was in this restaurant on December 6th, 2024. I ordered a Jägerschnitzel with fries. The sauce only just coated the Jägerschnitzel. The side salad with a dressing that was just run of the mill. Most likely mixed with some bag mix. Even the dollop of mayonnaise had to be paid for. But the best thing was the unspeakable smell from the sewage area that is embedded in the floor of the toilet. It smelled extremely like feces. The smell hit you in the anteroom. Visited once, never again!

The food is always fantastic, the regularly changing weekly menu and the main menu have always impressed me. The quality and quantity on the plate are absolutely right here. The ambience invites you to feel at home, plus a freshly tapped beer in combination with the always friendly service, you'll be happy to stay seated longer. The Anno1909 guesthouse welcomed me as a newcomer like family. I met a lot of great people there that I can now call friends. Thanks for that :) Here’s to many more beautiful evenings to come!

We were there today with 15 people. The place has a very nice atmosphere. The waitresses were attentive and, above all, very friendly. The only drawback was the waiting time and forgotten food. That's why I had to deduct a point... But the food was great and very tasty, I'd be happy to do it again

I think we just got the wrong day. Beer wasn't cold enough at first. Luckily this changed after we complained about this. The antipasti plate was delicious, but unfortunately not complete as a salad was missing. I've heard from many people that this is a great restaurant. We probably just had a bad day. Down-to-earth restaurant, furnishings a bit old-fashioned, but that will be okay. Service was great, it tasted good too. We can recommend.

Nice and clean atmosphere, friendly service, delicious food. Interesting but not too overwhelming selection of traditional and international dishes (Italian, Thai, Indian...). In terms of price it could be a bit cheaper. Still, “See you next time!”

It's nice that something like this still exists. Deliciously prepared food, accompanied by a cold beer (Pils and Füchschen) and quick, friendly service. What more do you want? We'll definitely be back soon.

HELLO friends of fine dining, we (the best) and I were at 1909 for the second time this evening, and what can I tell you, it was just as perfect as the first time!!! We were greeted like regular guests. The food and drinks are simply great. Plus the warmth from Ingrid and Esther, just great. You just have to feel comfortable here!!! We ended the great evening outside and are already looking forward to the next time. Thanks to everyone from 1909.

For me, Anno 1909 is not a restaurant, no, it is an inn. This is the second time we have been guests and we feel very welcome. Everything that comes out of the kitchen is freshly prepared and you can taste it, here everything is cooked with love and served with friendliness. The Anno is furnished as the name suggests. Cozy in the style of the early 20th century. The food is always freshly prepared. Even the sauces and dressings are homemade. The menu is designed so that everyone can find something. From meat dishes to vegetarian and vegan. Everything is delicious and it's definitely not the last time I've been here. The service is friendly and happy to accept special requests. All in all, always a cozy and culinary excellent evening.

Here at Anno - with the huge treasure Ingrid & her friendly team, it is clearly noticeable that it is still about the people as guests, because super fresh, genuine and delicious dishes are served here in generous portions, and at very fair prices. As a vegetarian, I especially appreciate the Indian vegetable curry & the delicious salad with fruits & the pasta dishes. The homemade tiramisu & other desserts are also great! In general, everything will happen this year! homemade - i.e. no convenience or frozen products are used, which is unfortunately common practice in many restaurants. Also no sauce binding agents whatsoever. The ambience in Anno has a nostalgic charm, which I find quite pleasant and almost original in the digitally cool outside world. I welcome the exclusive cash payment method as consistent and consistent. Thanks to its slightly separated room, the Anno is also ideal for larger get-togethers or celebrations. You can have a delicious meal and spend a cozy evening. The food is inexpensive and very good, all homemade. And on top of that, the owner is also very nice.

We visited Anno 1909 for the first time yesterday (and another visit will follow!). Very attentive, friendly staff. Very cozy inside thanks to collectible items that exude a touch of nostalgia. And now the most important thing for many: the map is well put together. From traditional to exotic. Everything we ordered was a culinary delight. We had a good time and left the restaurant satisfied and happy. Thanks.

The 4 of us were very happy with our meal. Service is very attentive. The ambience takes a lot of getting used to, sparse and semi-cozy like in the 80s and the majority of the audience is older.

Sehr unhygienisch! Die Mitarbeiter fassen ständig Kleingeld an und danach direkt das Brot oder den Salat beim Schneiden mit der selben Hand! Vor Kurzem hab ich in dem Laden eine Ratte ganz in der Ecke unter dem Tisch gesehen! Einfach ekelhaft! Seitdem geh ich nie wieder hin!

Great, precise service, no 20-year-old waitresses who shamelessly just call me first name..., high quality and handcrafted dishes, menu tailored precisely to the surrounding clientele/customer base, very, very fair prices (almost too fair, but a bit of a margin will probably stay ;) )... Hats off! Someone there still knows how to create great restaurants. We'll be back soon and probably often. Thank you that something like this still exists! My respect!

Ich liebe dieses Restaurant. Das Essen ist so so so lecker vor allem liebe ich die Pizza, aber alles ist dort super lecker. Ich weiss das Anno total auf qualität setzt und das schmeckt man auch. Das Preisleistungsverhältniss ist einfach nur der Hammer . Alle mitarbeiter sind so nett und aufmerksam. Der erste Eindruck war sehr gut. Das Essen war sehr lecker, das Personal und die Chefin sehr freundlich und das Lokal ist urig-schön. Besonders erwähnenswert ist, dass die Tisch-Dekoration eine besonders schöne war, Ich hatte bei der Onlinereservierung angegeben, dass meine Frau Geburtstag hat, da man den Anlass angeben konnte. Daraufhin hat die Chefin den für uns vorgesehenen Tisch besonders dekoriert. Das hat heut zu tage Seltenheitswert! Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Das Personal vor Ort ist immer sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Essen ist lecker und gemütlich, urig ist es auch.

Ein sehr harmonisches Restaurant mit antik anmutendem Interieur. Die Küche ist gutbürgerlich, bietet eine schöne und abwechslungsreiche Karte und qualitativ wirklich gutes Essen. Die Preise sind etwas gehobener. Für 2 Personen waren wir bei knapp 50 EUR für den Abend, angesichts der Qualität aber angemessen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und bemüht.

Essen war gut, aber hat uns nicht vom Hocker gehauen. Der Speck von den Datteln im Speckmantel war leider gar nicht knusprig. Die Wartezeit aufs Essen war leider relativ lang und der Service ist auch häufig an uns vorbei gelaufen ohne zu Fragen ob wir noch was möchten (Gläser waren leer). Zum Schluss wurde leider auch noch was falsches (teureres) abgerechnet. War zwar nur eine Differenz von 1€, trotzdem ärgerlich. Da wir es erst zu spät gesehen haben, konnten wir es nicht beanstanden. Hatten recht hohe Erwartungen, da hier unseres Wissens die ehemalige Besitzerin/Pächterin der Brädderbud drin ist und wir dort sehr gerne hingegangen sind. Diese wurden leider nicht erfüllt. Entweder ist unsere Info falsch oder die Qualität hat im Vergleich zu damals abgenommen. Schade.

Werbung u a. auf Facebook für den 01.07.2023. Es soll ab 15.00 h gegrillt werden. 4 Positionen auf der Grillkarte, davon 2x Bratwurst. Hier fehlte meiner Meinung nach Geflügel und z.b. Mais oder auch Fisch. Bei jeder privaten Grillparty ist die Auswahl größer. Da ist noch viel Luft nach oben. Der Empfang der Gäste fand nicht statt. Der Grill für eine gastronomische Veranstaltung zu klein. Wir haben von der normalen Karte bestellt. Das ist nicht der Sinn einer Grillparty. Die Terrasse nicht hergerichtet. Keine Zeit investiert um es den Gästen "schön" zu machen. Die ausfahrbare Markise hat schon bessere Zeiten gesehen. Sehr verdreckt. Da sollte man wenn gewünscht ist, dass sich die Gäste wohlfühlen, Geld investieren. "Normal" essen gehen und Innenbereich sitzen, okay. Die Mitarbeiter sind freundlich. Fazit: keine Grillparty im Anno.

Sehr freundlicher Service und Essen mit top Qualität. Vorspeise Geflügelleber mit Dattelfeldsalat ist sehr zu empfehlen, als Hauptgang haben Lachs und Flammkuchen ebenfalls sehr gut geschmeckt. Wir saßen draußen in einer gemütlichen Ecke direkt an der Hecke, sodass man fast vergessen hat, direkt an der Straße zu sitzen. (Autos hat man gehört, aber es hat nicht übermäßig gestört). Die Sanitäranlagen waren gepflegt. Achtung Kartenzahlung nicht möglich, aber man direkt mit dem Handy per Paypal zahlen TOP

Waren zum Geburtstag meiner Frau Kerstin mit 16 Personen im Restaurant. Wie schön öfter erlebt, tolles, leckeres Essen, auch durch unsere Gäste bestätigt. Ganz liebe und nette Bedienung, ebenfalls der Gesamtservice. Waren schon mehrmals da und haben die Lokalität auch weiterempfohlen. Kommen jederzeit wieder, und wenn wir nur Getränke zu uns nehmen wollen. Herzlichen Dank für den gestrigen Abend.

Sehr gutes italienisches Restaurant mit Liebe zum Detail. Der Service ist freundlich und gut organisiert. Was wir bislang dort gegessen haben war nicht nur lecker, sondern wurde auch für das Auge gut präsentiert. Da dieses Restaurant sehr gut besucht wird, ist eine Reservierung zu empfehlen.
