I’m not sure what’s happening with this restaurant as it used to be quite good. Despite marking it closed on Google, it continues to show as open. I can only assume they’re using this fake listing as a way to steal from unsuspecting customers. It’s very disappointing. ——————————- Nice ambiance, solid service, but most importantly really great food. I've been to several indian restaurants in Munich and this is the best so far. The spice blends they use are very complex. Items marked as spicy are a pretty spicey (I needed some rice/yogurt to accompany the dish), but won't make you sweat or physically uncomfortable. The naan is also amazing. It's usually not packed, but I eat dinner somewhat early. I've always gotten a table right away. For lactose/gluten free people, the menu is very well labelled. I went with someone with a gluten allergy and she had no shortage of choices or reactions to the food.

They stole my money. I think it's closed permanently. I ordered food from the website. It took my money and confirmed. And also gave me an estimated time to pick it up. When I went to pick it up, the building was locked up. Totally closed. I tried to contact them to get my money back and no response. It's been like that for months now even though it's hours and website say it's open--something weird is going on that it is still taking orders online it won't fulfill and still keeping itself marked as open on Google even though it's shut tight...

The restaurant is permanently closed. Yesterday we ordered via Lieferando, and at some point someone called by phone who was cooking the food somewhere and then wanted to meet there to hand it over. But it wasn't communicated that way, very strange experience. It's probably a kind of ghost kitchen now.

The worst Indian ever! Cheese naan disgusting. So disgusting I didn't eat it! Add all sorts of vegetables, even though none of them are mentioned in the description. Butter chicken horrible. Really catastrophic! As if it was just stirred with tomato paste.

Delivery was 1.5hr late, restaurant doesn’t answer.

We made a reservation through The Fork for tornite, It was confirmed and we got there on time. We found a pretty much closed restaurant! Luckily enough there was a very welcoming open restaurant by the side....

The service is a complete disaster... With stupid teasing from the waiter....Never again!!!!!

Order is 2h delayed (we live less than 1km away). We called 15min after the order was supposed to arrive an got the message that the driver is on the way. We called 50min later and the driver is still on the way. We wish the poor man or woman, who must clearly be lost, all the best and hope he/she finds her way. We are lucky enough to have found something else to eat

So if you even advertise vegan in front of your door but are told in your face that you only have it and there is actually no tofu or no vegan but only vegetables???!!!! The waiter said there is never tofu and it just sits there. So please don't do something like that!!!

Nach dem Besuch im Shagun ist zu Folgendes zu sagen: Das Ambiente ist sehr einladend, gemütlich und passend. Die Bedienung war stets freundlich und zuvorkommend, sogar eine Vor- und Nachspeise aufs Haus wurde uns serviert. Das Essen war definitiv ausreichend und somit in einem guten Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Auch die Qualität war hervorragend. Das Restaurant ist definitiv empfehlenswert und wir würden dem Shagun jederzeit wieder einen Besuch abstatten!

Das Fisch Thali war hervorragend!!!

Wir haben Essen bestellt und erstmal wurde die Hälfte nicht geliefert. Dann haben wir angerufen, um das Essen nachzubestellen. Dabei gab es erstmal starke Probleme bei der Kommunikation und die Person am Telefon hat das Problem nicht verstanden. Dann wurde das Essen geliefert und hat 17 € statt 14 € gekostet und der Fahrer hatte auch Probleme mit dem Rückgeld. Bin leider deswegen sehr enttäuscht. Das Essen war ok, aber Preis Leistungsverhältnis war nicht gut.

Ich habe meinen Geburtstag dort gefeiert. Alles war perfekt. Hervorragende indische Küche. Top Service. Ich kann dieses Restaurant nur empfehlen!!!!!!

Das Thali für 2 Personen ist sehr zu empfehlen, da man alles durchkosten kann. Essen war nicht scharf, man konnte aber eine scharfe Sauce dazu bestellen. Der Kellner war sehr freundlich. Der Wein war auch gut. Würden wieder kommen!

Visited on 16 June for a dinner . We were a group of 5 we had an amazing time, the butter chicken and naan were delicious and satisfied our craving for Indian food, the staff was very friendly and the management went out of there way to help us out. Thanks to all the staff.

Chicken was not fresh and smelling bad, serice was poor, overall not a satisfying experience at all.

This restaurant was SO good. I got the Channa Paneer and it was very filling. The service was outstanding- best service in Germany and I’ve lived here for a few months now. They gave a lot of food and I even have leftovers for a whole other meal. We got garlic naan, butter naan, and cheese naan and they were all delicious. I love Indian food and would highly recommend this place. I was very surprised that we were the only people there, but we eat dinner pretty early.

Das Essen ist lecker und schmackhaft. Das Butter Naan war hervorragend! Preis-Leistung ist in Ordnung, da die Portionen groß sind. Service war freundlich und schnell. 4,5 Sterne!

Arguably the best indian restaurant in town. I mean it. I have tried almost all of them. Shagun is the only place i repeated as either dine in or delivery..

Sehr leckeres Essen. Können das vegetarische Thali sehr empfehlen. Der Gruß der Küche - mangocreme - war auch sehr gut.

Tried the grilled chicken and dal makhani here. The chicken had nice flavour, tasted fresh but I wasn't a fan of the amount of food coloring used. The dal makhani was delicious and paired well with the naan. Also, liked the dip options with the papad and the gulab jamuns here. For the mango lassi, it was a bit on the milky side. The service was okay.

Good Indian restaurant near to Theresienstrasse U Bahn Station. Authentic Indian North Indian food. Tastewise it's good with a lot of variety on the menu. Some things can be improved like the menu card. There were some pages missing and not in good condition. But other than that good quality food and good place for lunch or dinner.

Das Essen war sehr gut. Das Nan Brot hatte eine schöne Kruste und das Curry war lecker. Preislich war es oke nicht zu teuer, aber auch nicht billig. Der Service war sehr aufmerksam und sehr höflich. Das Ambiente ist ein guter Standard.

Ich lege viel Wert auf die Abstimmung der Gewürzen. Das ist sehr gelungen. Die Zutaten sind frisch und harmonisch kombiniert. Die Portionen sind gut und die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich.

Das essen schmeckt excellent. Ich komme fast wöchentlich da hindi, da die Bedienung und der Cheff sehr nett sind und die Preis-Leistung stimmt. Ich kann das Lokal nur weiterempfehlen

The food was very tasty and the staff was friendly. I can highly recommend this place. The food can be very spicy, so be aware of that, but you will find many non-spicy options as well. The friendly staff will help you find something you'll like.
