Nice little restaurant, I liked the ambience and the relaxing music. The food was ok, considering the prices I'd say you get exactly what you pay for. I would still suggest it if you're on a small budget!

Unfortunately, both I and my girlfriend found that the meat tasted very cheap and in general the curry didn't taste good compared to other restaurants. In addition, a special request was not received when we ordered.

Price and performance are right here. Nice staff, cozy atmosphere and a delicious mango liqueur at the end. We'll be back!

We showed up late at 10:30pm and they were gracious enough to let us dine even though closing time is 11pm. Every dish was delicious and coming originally from Delhi I am very particular about Indian food. We ordered samosas, lamb grill, butter chicken, cheese Naan and garlic Naan. The gravy with the lamb grill was amazing and very flavorful. Butter chicken reminded me of home and the naans were crisp and warm. The hospitality reminded me of being back home. Highly recommend

Average Indian. A little worse than Ganesha a little further ahead on Rosenheimerstrasse. All in all good and with even cheaper lunch dishes. However, limited vegetarian selection at lunch. Nevertheless, a passable and correct Indian restaurant.

Today had a blast at Bombay Tandoori. The atmosphere took us back to our home country, truly awe struck with the dishes. The authenticity of food was major surprise to us as we’re trying to get indian food for past 7 months which today got fulfilled. Chicken Tikka, Palak Paneer, Dal Makhni, Garlic Naan, Raita and the surprised lemonade ❤️ 10/10 for everything. If you’re in munich please do go for once here, must recommended place for you <3

The place inside is small, the food is good, but nothing special. The staff seem to me to be from the Hindu sect. They are treated with respect, but I will not return.

Location - Conveniently close to the Hilton and the Metro station, making it easily accessible. Food - I indulged in the Lamb on Bone, which was pure divine sweetness. My colleagues enjoyed the Biryani and Butter Chicken, both of which were fantastic. The Naan was heavenly, and it's worth noting that all meals come with rice, so be mindful not to overorder. We couldn't finish our meals! Ambience - The establishment is petite but charming. The food's legendary quality overshadows any concerns about the basic facilities. Toilets - Basic, but this didn't matter given the exceptional dining experience. Staff - Friendly and attentive, adding to the overall positive experience. I'll definitely be back to savor more of Bombay's legendary dishes.

We love coming to the Indian restaurant Bombay for lunch. The food is very tasty and also inexpensive. Whether it's authentic remains to be seen, but it definitely tastes great. The employees are very friendly and accommodating. A special bonus is the small mango dessert that you get for free - a nice gesture that brings joy every time. The only point of criticism is that you quickly smell of food inside. That's why we prefer to come in summer to be able to sit outside.

Both the weekly and the regular menu impress with their exceptionally high quality products, creativity and the spices are a dream. The service is very courteous and quick. It's best to ask the service, they'll be happy to help you choose your meal.

Stopped in here on Thursday 13th June - staying nearby while in Munich for the Euros. Excellent choice with great food and service. You can tell the quality of food when it’s busy with local people. Definitely recommended- a must for Indian food lovers.

Authentic taste, finally a restaurant that boldly shows off its spiciness and spices. However, the ambience is also authentically uncomfortable. Service (in English) very courteous. Exciting, hidden, typically Indian dishes can be found on the menu alongside the usual Central European Tandoori mediocre. Highlight and insider tip: “Dahi Puri” starter. Dahi Puri is a popular street food dish in India and belongs to the chaat snack family. It consists of crispy puris stuffed with a filling of potatoes, chickpeas and various chutneys (sweet tamarind chutney, spicy coriander chutney). Yoghurt (dahi), sev (crispy chickpea noodles), coriander and pomegranate seeds are sprinkled on top, giving the dish both a sweet and spicy note. The ambience takes some getting used to: probably a typical Indian attitude to life, the family seems to live in the restaurant, everything is loud and confusing. You have to ignore sanitary facilities and hope that the staff has their own, clean ones.

Excellent place to be! Tasteful indian food, very cosy, extremely friendly staff. Even prepared a dish which wasn’t on the menu. Prices are the usual ones. Definitely not overpriced. In German you would say „klein aber fein“ 😉 Definitely not the last time being there!

One of the better Indian food I’ve had in Munich! My chicken curry was really good. The Appetizer platter for one was generous. Picture is of one vegetarian platter and one non-vegetarian. We were all very satisfied with our food. Cozy small place. Can’t wait to come back with more friends! It is a small space, so I recommend making a reservation.

We spontaneously got a table for two people and had a small starter and main course. The service was great and the employees were very friendly, the food came quickly and tasted incredibly good! Gladly again :)

The best Indian food near Rosenheimer Platz. And the best restaurant in Munich. I am a regular customer and I love food here. I usually try gravy and chicken Briyani. The lamb nihari is the latest edition of there chef menu. Damn I love the taste.

Excellent culinary experience. Our first time eating Indian food and we were 100% satisfied. From garlic bread to curry chicken, to various lamb options with mango sauce or spicy sauce, we were all surprised by the flavor of the dishes as well as the generous portions. And to top it all off, the customer service has been excellent. Thank you, we hope to return from Argentina one day.

We chose this restaurant because we had walked by the night before, and it had smelled glorious. It didn’t disappoint. It was easily the best Indian food I’ve had in a year. I had the vegetarian thali, and the three dishes - saag paneer, dal makhni, and a chickpea dish - were classic and flavorful. The service was excellent. Everyone else had the chicken tikka and chicken vinadaloo and loved it. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Main dish - chicken and mutton are too salty. Vegetables is small portion with many potatoes, no good. Naan is ok. Not recommend for people prefer light flavor. The man who served our table is nice, but the cashier’s manner is kind of rude.

Da unser Hotel in der Nähe lag, sind wir spontan am Abend vorbeigekommen: sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal und das Essen war köstlich. Mein Highlight war der Mango Lassi und der Kichererbsen-Vorspeisensalat. Sollten wir wieder mal in München sein, kommen wir gerne wieder!

Sehr zu empfehlen - auch für das Mittagessen. Die Portionen sind sehr gut und man bekommt zur Mittagszeit auch einen Suppe als Vorspeise und eine kleine Nachspeise dazu. Die Gerichte, die ich bisher hatte, waren allesamt gut und lecker. Die Bedienung ist sehr höflich und freundlich. Das Ambiente mit leichter Hintergrundmusik rundet das ganze dann ab.

A great value restaurant offering excellent Indian food. We sat outside watching the world go by which was most enjoyable.

Vor 10 Jahren war ich zum Ersten Mal dort essen, seidem kann ich in keinem anderen indischen Lokal essen. Es ist nicht nobel drin, eher klein und etwas runtergekommen, das Ambiente vermittelt trotzdem ein warmes Gefühl (ist wohl der Duft aus der offenen Küche). Da ich noch nie in Indien war kann ich nicht sagen ob das Essen authentisch ist, aber zumindest ist es für mich am entferntesten vom Einheitsbrei weg, und die eher internationalen Gäste runden diesen Eindruck ab. Das Palak trifft mit Abstand am besten meinem Geschmack. Ich nehme inzwischen das Vegetarische, damit möglichst nichts den Geschmack der Sauce verändert.

Coming from Malaysia, we're used to Indian restaurants and cuisines, and this hit right at home. The foods are really well spiced, I ordered specifically for myself Chili Chicken Tikka, and it was challenging spicy. The rice are spiced enough to give a bit of aftertaste after each bite with the chicken. We also ordered some other foods like Lamb Briyani, Tandoori, Nan Bread. We're all satisfied. The atmosphere is great. We came with a pack of 6 people, and after ordering, the foods came altogether after around 20minutes. The waiters are nice and friendly, the foods are well presented, the background music is calming and presented the mood of the restaurant well. Overall satisfied

Very good Indian restaurant with a variety of dishes. Food quality was high, everything seemed fresh and well-prepared. Staff was very friendly, service appropriate. The interior design is simple with Indian touch but cosy. Prices are above average but acceptable for what is served.

Overall amazing place. While the food was awesome, the service may have been better. This is one of the best Indian restaurants I have been too. I will definitely come back here next time I am in town.

As someone who has eaten a lot of Indian food, this definitely ranks up there. I had the chicken vindaloo and loved it. It was the right amount of spicy and spiced. The service and atmosphere of the restaurant really added to the experience. If you like Indian food, it's a great idea.
