The atmosphere is great for a short break, the food but the biggest disappointment in my first portion were hairs from the employee in it, which I had to get redone, the portion was much too small, I paid 11€ for a lot of disappointment, a ready-made meatball from the oven that had been in there for too long

Review – Coffee Fellons Service Area Niedergasse on the A2 At first glance, Coffee Fellons on Niedergasse does a lot right: The ambiance is neat and tidy, the layout seems well thought out, and the seating invites you to take a pleasant break. So, if you're just looking for a clean and friendly environment for a stopover, you'll find it here. Unfortunately, this positive impression quickly fades when it comes to the food. This was particularly evident with the currywurst we ordered. Instead of a freshly prepared specialty, we were served a typical convenience currywurst – with no real bite, and a bland sauce that lacked either flavor or character. This was also accompanied by "country potatoes," which were also unconvincing: rather mushy, barely crispy, and lacking in flavor. All in all, it felt more like a warm-up than a meal worth the price or the rest stop.

I recommend it within human limits

This place is charging for the toilet illegally, there is no ticket or receipt. The woman is persistently demanding 1 euro for the toilet. The matter will be reported to the Finazamt.

I stopped for the night. There's plenty of space. The staff is amazing, the girls speak both our language and Polish. The toilets are clean, and by the way, the shower is 4 euros instead of 5. The water is hot, the pressure is fantastic, and it's soft. I give it 5 stars!

I had previously used the restroom at the rest stop and wanted to buy something to eat, but unfortunately, an entire school bus suddenly appeared at the checkout. So I stopped here again. The younger employee was irritated every time I spoke to her, and in my opinion, it wasn't my fault, but rather the "overall situation" of her job. Don't worry, I won't be back.

Be that as it may, we have a huge problem in Germany. 1. The food at rest stops is really expensive. 2. Eating like mom used to eat was a thing of the past; today it's fast food and more fast food. 3. The staff try hard, but their lack of German often makes ordering a lottery. 4. I hardly dare say it, but unfortunately, the restrooms are still a point of criticism. But we keep paying a whole euro for a simple act...ugh...shame on anyone who thinks badly of them.... For me, rest stops have become a no-go. Service or not, the restrooms deserve their money...respect

...disinterested staff who don't know what they're doing. Maybe they shouldn't work for Coffee Fellows. They got their drink in the wrong container or glass. So they only served half the drink, and then they said, "I DON'T UNDERSTAND ANYTHING."

Unfortunately, it's changed hands, and they only serve microwaved food, which is inedible and overpriced. It used to be very good when they served schnitzel and fries, which is a shame.

One of the few shady rest areas on the A2. A few more seating options along the edge of the forest would be great.

When I read the negative reviews, all I can say is that I experienced absolutely 5-star service and quality. I didn't even want a coffee, but it was offered to me so kindly and politely that I bought one, or rather, two, since I wasn't alone. My companion and I not only thought the coffee and quality were top-notch, but even more so the friendliness of the employees. This parking place is direct a one of the most busiest german Autobahn. You can find a small restaurant an some place for rest. Also they thave a charging station for you BEV, which is not the fastest, but it's ok for a stopover. But sorry, the charging prices are high if you start withouta contract.

The food was cold, and the staff were very unfriendly. The employee wouldn't let us use the ordering kiosk, even though it was multilingual and the employee wasn't. The food was very expensive for what you get. The only positives were the very clean restrooms. There's an outdoor playground, but the airlock was out of order.

We were able to visit a Serways station while passing through. The atmosphere was sad and dark. The touchscreen kiosks were broken or just not working. The service employee was trying hard, but visibly unnerved by the seemingly strange working conditions. The coffee had a sour aftertaste and didn't taste like anything else. Basically, you didn't—at any point—get the feeling of relaxation or a break. You were glad when you were allowed to continue driving. Customer service doesn't come from marketing blah blah. It starts with the employees. They carry customer service outwards. Anyone who leaves employees out in the cold or, in the worst case, just exploits them (which doesn't mean that's the case here) will sooner or later disappear as a service point. Conclusion: Serways rest areas will be steered clear of in the future. There are other ways...

Unfortunately, the playground was closed, but our child had never been so close to the highway before, and they loved it! Small and nice!

Very disappointed with the rest stop. It looks very friendly from the outside. Then comes the disappointment! The food is only available to take away in a cardboard container and costs almost €14. Why are there tables if you're not allowed to sit there? You also have to pay €1 to use the restroom. Sorry...you won't see us here again!!

Parking lot with shower and toilet inside the shower cabin, separate toilet 1€ and shower 4€, everything very clean. The outside toilet is only open when the store is closed.

On a long journey, you'd love to have an open playground for your child at the rest stops, but at three Serways rest stops, ALL playgrounds were closed. Including this one. It's a shame; there are other child-friendly options.

Very strange event experienced today. Wanted to order two kids menus. Answer was "no". When I asked, it said it was only for children up to 16. I looked at my daughter (looks like she's 16, but she's not). The waitress looked at my daughter and corrected to “until twelve”. Hmm, ok. One rest stop further on it also tasted very good. 😂 I still have to laugh about it now. They probably don't want to make any money.

No freely accessible toilet, the truck drivers are forced to either go into the forest or pay in cash for the toilet...

€1 for peeing is a real rip-off. At least the other restroom provider on the highway charges you the euro when you buy something. We also found the restrooms not particularly clean, and the urinals were broken. The lady at the money collection bowl was busy on her cell phone and wasn't interested.

Very rude staff, they make a problem about the cutlery, they don't know how to read the orders, waiting for nothing, then they say it's not their problem. Problem solved but no apologies from them. Just gossip. Give a wide berth!

Very cramped and dark parking lot. There is a lot of noise from the highway because there is no noise barrier. Heavily polluted place. I don't recommend it. The parking lot is very hectic.

Very dirty parking lot... He had to stay in this place for about 15 minutes on February 22nd, and during that time many people met their hardship right under the trees. It was uncomfortable to be there. There is garbage everywhere, unpleasant smells and there is definitely no fresh air! It's even disgusting to get out of the car. Whenever I drive back to the Pott from Bielefeld I stop there for a little refreshment. Prices are normal in rest stops, so they are expensive.

7:30 p.m. kitchen closed, impossible to be served. A smell of cold tobacco throughout the store/restaurant,...The employee is as unpleasant as possible...Move on

A good place to stop while traveling to eat something or buy something to drink or eat. There is also a playground for children and parking spaces for the disabled. There are benches and tables in the parking lot.

We travel a lot and this is one of, if not the tastiest, rest stop in Germany. It was freshly prepared and prepared with love. The employee was a real treasure. It's small but nice here... but above all with fair prices. We say thank you very much 🫶🏻

I was there last Saturday around 10:30 am. The sanitary area was very dirty and disgusting. Staff were on site and were able to say hello and make phone calls. I wanted to take off my shoes and throw them away afterwards. There was no paper to dry your hands, just a dirty hand fan. Does it really have to be disgusting? Every sanitary facility on the highway that is free is cleaner than this.

A shady spot with lots of greenery around it. Just went to the toilet briefly. But no real Serways toilet that is cleaned automatically. No voucher, otherwise I would have treated myself to another coffee. Was sent to the disabled toilet because it was full. Floor not completely clean, but at least there are paper towels there, not in the other toilets, just the fan, which I don't want to use for hygiene reasons.

Cozy right on the highway Car opposite. Parking lane directly in front of the entrance for trucks. There is a bit of greenery around it and there are even benches to linger. Toilet in the house during the day. Next to the rest stop at night Delicious small dishes. Or a hot drink or from the fridge. So everything is there.

A big compliment to this Serways rest stop, because there is a wheelchair-accessible night toilet here. For that ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐.

I always stop there when I travel to Bonn or Cologne. The toilet is exemplary clean!!!!! Huge compliment, please keep it up!!!
