Eine absolut schreckliche Erfahrung. Punkt. Die junge, weiße Bedienung war höflich und sehr nett, vielen Dank dafür. Die ältere, weiße Dame hingegen war äußerst unhöflich, warf mir beinahe die Kreditkarte an den Kopf und äußerte rassistische Beleidigungen. Absolut kein Benehmen – ich würde nie wieder dorthin gehen. Ein Flughafen, wo ständig Menschen ein- und ausreisen – was für eine tolle Art, die schlimmste Erfahrung in München zu machen! Sie hat die nationale Würde wirklich beleidigt! Vielen Dank!

Ich habe mir eine Brezel zum Mitnehmen geholt und sie war köstlich.

Das war mit Abstand das schlechteste Flughafenessen, das ich je gegessen habe, und ich reise sehr viel. Der Kaffee bestand nur aus geschmackloser Vollmilch, das Gebäck war altbacken und trocken. Lasst es lieber sein und spart euch die 30 € für diesen miserablen Snack vor dem Flug!

Maximal unfreundliches Personal - dann stellt doch einfach lieber einen freundlichen Automaten auf.

Die Shakshuka war perfekt! Viel besser als ein Flughafenrestaurant… Ich kann Selmans jederzeit zum Frühstück empfehlen (andere Gerichte habe ich noch nicht probiert).

Eine großartige Gelegenheit zur Erkundung, falls Sie sich beim Wühlen in einem Caesar Salad noch nie auf eigene Kosten gedemütigt gefühlt haben.

Große Enttäuschung in diesem Flughafencafé. Ich bestellte einen Kaffee und ein Lachscroissant, musste aber wegen der deutschen Verpackung Salz in meinen Kaffee tun 😅. Ich ging zurück zur Theke in der Hoffnung auf eine schnelle Lösung, doch die sarkastische Antwort der blonden Mitarbeiterin war einfach nur unfassbar – „Nicht unsere Schuld“ ist nicht das, was man hören will. Obendrein waren die Tische schmutzig, was das Ganze noch verschlimmerte. Nicht empfehlenswert.

Unfassbar! Eine Mitarbeiterin um 5:30 Uhr war unhöflich und aggressiv. Sie sagte mir, es läge daran, dass ich meinen Kaffee noch nicht hatte – ein schockierendes Verhalten! Fiona Der Mann hinter ihr meinte: „Ich dachte, ich hätte mich verhört.“ Absolut unmöglich! Es war sehr ärgerlich, so aggressiv behandelt zu werden und dann auch noch zu hören, es läge daran, dass ich meinen Kaffee noch nicht hatte.

Grauenhafter Kaffee, sehr teuer, unfreundliches Personal, das sogar am Bezahlautomaten nach Trinkgeld fragt.

Ich habe hier ein sehr leckeres Curry gegessen. Eine super Option, besonders am Flughafen, da es eine gute Auswahl an Sandwiches und asiatischen Gerichten gab.

Das Essen ist gut, besonders die schmackhafte Shakshukha. Die Sitzgelegenheiten sind gut, man kann dort essen und arbeiten.

Wollte vorm Abflug noch kurz im Servicebereich was essen (20.12.2025, ca. 10:30). Statt einer freundlichen Begrüssung wurde ich in höchst aggresivem Ton vom Mitarbeiter (älterer Herr, Brille, Glatze) angeschnautzt ich solle gefälligst warten. Während dem Warten hat er einen anderen Gast der bei ihm an der Kasse zum zahlen stand sowie einen weiteren der nach der Rechnung fragte ebenso aggro angeschnautzt. Nach 5min warten ohne dass er mir einen Tisch zugewiesen hatte obwohl mehrere frei waren bin ich wieder gegangen und habe mein Geld woanders ausgegeben. Ich habe selten jmd. gesehen der im Service so deplaziert ist wie dieser Mitarbeiter. Am besten sollte er irgendwo in einer Fabrik in einem Eck am Band arbeiten da kann er zumindest keine Gäste vergraulen.

Normalerweise schreibe ich keine Bewertungen, aber die Managerin Anastasia hat uns schrecklich behandelt. Wir bestellten Wasser, bekamen kochend heißes Wasser, und als wir dann nach Trinkwasser fragten, schrie sie uns an, ließ das Wasser von einem Angestellten wegschütten und meinte, wir müssten Wasser kaufen. Ich werde nie wieder hierherkommen, zumal das Essen auch nicht gut ist. Sucht euch lieber ein anderes Restaurant.

Was für ein schreckliches Erlebnis! Der Mann an der Rezeption war super hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Der Manager hingegen, mit seiner unechten blonden Frisur und seiner unverschämten Art, weigerte sich, einer berechtigten Bitte nachzukommen, nachdem ich 25 Dollar für eine trockene Schüssel bezahlt hatte. Überteuertes Essen und schlechter Service. Nicht zu empfehlen. Geht lieber zur Pizzeria Cucino.

Einer der schlechtesten Services, die ich je erlebt habe. Die blonde Dame an der Kasse war sichtlich genervt von unserer „großen“ Bestellung, hatte keinerlei Geduld und wurde dann wütend, als das Kartenlesegerät nicht funktionierte, als hätten wir es kaputt gemacht. So eine Unhöflichkeit habe ich noch nie erlebt.

Sie mögen zwar ein fester Bestandteil des Marktes am Flughafen sein, aber das bedeutet nicht, dass Sie 17 Euro für Avocado-Toast bezahlen müssen, der 1. über 30 Minuten auf sich warten lässt und 2. bei dem der Bart nicht einmal geröstet ist.

Super Essen und super Service! So muss Flughafen-Restaurant!

Der Service war wirklich unfreundlich und die Unhöflichkeit mir gegenüber sehr unangenehm. ㅜ Ich war besonders verwundert darüber, wie sie meine Anmerkungen ignorierten und während der Bestellung eine unnötig aggressive Sprache verwendeten. Ich hatte doch nur Kaffee bestellt... ㅇㅅㅇ...... Ich sagte ihnen, dass ich mein Restguthaben von der Reise nutzen und mit Karte bezahlen würde, aber danach schienen sie mich zu ignorieren. Ich bin schon in vielen Ländern gewesen, aber dieses Café war die unangenehmste Erfahrung überhaupt....... Wenn du Koreaner bist, empfehle ich dir den Laden nebenan. Dort gibt es auch Kaffee.

Selmans war für ein Flughafenrestaurant eine angenehme Überraschung! Das Eggs Benedict mit Lachs war frisch und perfekt zubereitet, und die Shakshuka war schmackhaft und sättigend. Die Präsentation war ansprechend, und die Gesamtqualität übertraf die üblichen Standards von Flughafenrestaurants. Ein toller Ort, um vor dem Flug zu entspannen und eine richtige Mahlzeit zu genießen!

Ich habe mir hier während der Wartezeit auf meinen Flug ein Hühnercurry geholt. Die Portionen waren groß, es war wirklich lecker und schmeckte überhaupt nicht nach typischem Flughafenessen. Ich fragte nach extra Reis und die Dame am Tresen gab mir einfach kostenlos eine Portion – total nett! Das Essen war heiß, etwas scharf, aber insgesamt ein guter Ort zum Essen am Flughafen München. 😊

„Der Preis für ein einfaches Rührei mit 3 Eiern lag bei über 20 €. Selbst am Flughafen ist das zu hoch. Qualität und Service waren in Ordnung, aber das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt hier nicht.“ unglaublich auch nach Rückfrage beim Chef, kein Entgegenkommen !

My breakfast was excellent in taste, appearance, and quantity. The staff were attentive, very kind, and very friendly, especially the headscarf-wearing cashier. I'd happily return again.

One star by default because we paid 109 euros for 4 people for half-full bowls! Terrible and unfriendly service. Definitely avoid.

The waitresses were notably slow and unfriendly. There was a clear lack of courtesy and attentiveness. At checkout, the payment system only offered tipping options, which felt forced. When I chose not to leave a tip, I was made to wait an extra ten minutes before they completed the transaction. The food was overpriced and did not match the quality or the overall experience. I do not recommend this place. There are far better options with reasonable prices and respectful customer service.

One of my family members went to sit down in the restaurant area not knowing it was closed and got yelled at by a long haired male employee who was visibly angry. Very unpleasant and would never come back until he was not working there. The other employees told us he does this to other customers aswell and that he is crazy. The other employees were nice and understanding.

The food here is outright terrible, clearly microwaved, yet priced like fine dining. I honestly have no idea how this place has good reviews (probably bought or faked), because this is worse than your average airport meal. The icing on the cake? The service is rude too, though frankly, I wouldn't even care if the food was decent. It’s not. Avoid.

Bedienung ziemlich unmotiviert und sehr langsam. Ich hatte das pan fried beef, wleches aber ziemlich sicher eine Mikrowellenzubereitung war.

There’s two side at the cafe. One for sit down to order. The other side is to do self serve. The food cost little higher.

The saleswoman is very rude, doesn't smile and seems constantly annoyed... Opens at 5:30 a.m. according to the notice... when we wanted to place our order at 5:30 a.m., she said that it wouldn't open until 6:00 a.m.

The staff was extremely unfriendly. A gentleman with glasses was pointed out that the octopus salad is not fresh as attention should be paid to food quality to avoid stomach problems among customers. But he showed no interest and didn't even turn to us. This business should be urgently checked.

Tuvimos unas horas de escala en el aeropuerto de Múnich, así que probé este café para el desayuno. El café estaba limpio y espacioso con una bonita decoración. La música fue éxitos de baile de 90 s. No había mucho abierto a las 6 am, pero un poco de café un panini tostado y gofre estaban muy sabrosos, recién horneados y gran presentación. El personal era servicial y amable y estaban encantados de convertir moneda a dólares estadounidenses. Era bastante caro, pero esto era de esperar en un aeropuerto.

I had a really unpleasant experience at Selman’s. When we asked if the sandwiches could be toasted, our server (man with a ponytail) was incredibly rude and dismissive. He seemed almost offended by the request, replying that "it doesn’t make sense" to toast them. When we asked why, he became visibly annoyed, grabbed the sandwich, and said, “I can toast them if you want and you will see,” in an aggressive, unprofessional way. I was shocked by the lack of basic courtesy. A simple question shouldn’t be met with such hostility, especially in a service environment. Definitely not coming back

Mi marido y yo pasábamos por la T 2 de camino a tomar un vuelo de conexión. Cuando llegamos había un gran letrero sobre A 3 en tamaño si te sientas en una mesa habría servicio de mesa que hicimos. Una mujer muy desagradable vestida de negro con un pañuelo estilo 1940 se nos acercó y nos dijo que teníamos que ir al mostrador. ¡Le explicamos que solo habíamos hecho lo que decía el letrero! ¡Pronto dio la vuelta al cartel y se fue agresivamente! Esta persona parecía ser el gerente, pero obviamente no tiene NI IDEA sobre el servicio al cliente y fue muy grosero! AVOID

Good luck with your degree in communication and replying professionally to your customers. 📍 The salmon sandwich, the baguette was really hard. You could tell it was not of the same day. I’m a bread expert, I bake it and store and I can tell if it’s a baguette that’s been sitting there on the counter more than 24hours. The waiter basically shouted at us when we asked for extra hot coffee. He kept saying :”what do you mean. The machine is making it”. We said we don’t like it mild. The seating and area look cozy but I wouldn’t waste my time and money at this place for the coziness if food and service are horrible!

I had a salad for lunch, which was relatively decent for airport food, but of course ridiculously over priced. The staff refused to refill my water bottle, telling me I had to buy a plastic one. This isn't really acceptable in this day and age and is bad brand policy, especially for a place that tries to sell itself as upmarket.

€24.90 for salmon pasta, which was effectively microwaved ans had very little salmon. They were also out of forks. Surely not the best option in the terminal.

A 4.4 star rating and 20€ pasta sitting in a pre-cooked pile at the window. I had to see for myself what's going on here. Indeed there's nothing magical. It gets scooped up into a paper bowl and microwaved. In fact, I was ready to see this and not be upset if the experience is expectedly crap. The experience was not just crap. It was laughably, tragically bad. Upon seeing the microwave open, I noticed they just crammed everyone's orders into the microwave, literally squashing the bowls together. The least of all their evils is that my now partially burnt pasta arrived cooled down as the two overwhelmed employees forgot about the microwave while serving other customers. To any hungry travelers, learn from my experiment and don't pay the 20€ for microwaved-to-a-crisp pasta.

This place can get pretty busy, but they do a great job of keeping up and getting you out quickly. Really nice but pretzel. Egg tart was not great.

They asked us for €4 for a cheap pack of mustard. Pretzel was absolutely drowned in butter. Woman yelled at me because I hadn’t picked up my drinks from the corner of the bar even though I was like literally 5 feet away. Overall stressful experience. Had I know I would have gone to the Italian restaurant next door.

The service at this establishment is absolutely horrible. They tried to charge us four euros for mustard as a condiment to the pretzels that we had ordered. The people in front of us were not charged for their mustard. The service was not great. Staff was not friendly, but the food was decent.

While waiting to catch the flight to Pristina, I had a couple of crostini with spicy tuna tartare and a beer.

Causa maltempo siamo rimasti bloccati a Monaco per la notte. Selmans è un ottimo posto per dormire, i divanetti sono stretti ma comodi. Unica pecca il proprietario che caccia via gli ospiti alle 4:30 sostenendo che l’accesso sia vietato.

I recently visited this restaurant and had a wonderful experience. The server was not only beautiful but also spoke English fluently. I ordered a pasta dish and it was absolutely delicious. The ambience of the restaurant was excellent and the entire area was tidy and well-maintained. I will definitely be returning to eat here again.

2 Kassen, nur eine besetzt (Freitag Nachmittag, Ferienbeginn), Lady muss Essen zurecht machen und kassieren … und hinten stehen 2 Herren, unterhalten sich und schauen jaaa nicht in Richtung der Kundenschlange von 15 Personen 😡. Never again!!

Lieber Herr Springer, ich bin auch oft wie heute in Level 5 und immer in Boconero, Wieners oder Sellmanns zu Gast. Schade dass sie die Arbeit der äußerst fleißigen Mitarbeiter unter den hektischen Bedingungen nicht zu würdigen wissen und manchmal nötige Kommunikation als „quatschen“ interpretieren. Offenbar hatten sie Angst, dass sie ihren Milchkaffee nicht rechtzeitig zur gewohnten Zeit bekommen…

Die Ambiente ist gut, deshalb haben wir dieses Restaurant gewählt. Früher hatte man hier eine Bedienung. Jetzt Selbstbedienung, drei Angestellte komplett überfordert, Gäste werden angepampt weil falsch angestanden obwohl keinerlei Hinweis darauf. Essen sieht großartig aus, dagegen Geschmack gegen null. Wir hatten Paella 18,- , Szechuan Rind 24,- und Salat 15,-. Gerichte wurden in Pappbehältern in die Mikrowelle gesteckt.

Extremely rude staff. Made the wrong food and drinks and then shouted at us when we pointed out it was wrong. Didn't change the order and did nothing to acknowledge the problem or fix it .. we just had to leave

Basically shouted at by staff because they made me the wrong overpriced coffee that ended up in the bin as I'm lactose intolerant. Loved spending €6 for the privilege. Try elsewhere if you can.

The waiter asked for a tip! Nobody asked me that before! Never again

I first gave a review without writing any comments then I got reported by the restaurant for trying to make them look bad. I would like to highlight that this report against me is a classic example of a business that is unwilling to improve and attack any customer who sees any flaws with their service. First of all, the staff was very rude not just to me but to other customers as well and I witnessed that. Second, I asked for Halal options and was referred to only one menu item (penne pasta), again, in a very rude manner. Third, the restaurant claims I was never their customer. I had a 7 hour layover in Munich airport on 3 June and I proved this to the google team who contacted me regarding the report. Nonetheless, the two ladies on duty at the time was a Hijabi and an asian (I am a muslim myself and my wife is a Hijabi, I am just highlighting the fact that I know who the staff was during my visit). There are more reasons as to why I gave this review but I think what I mentioned here is enough.

Pour un resto dans un aéroport, on s'est régalé, le burger est excellent, la viande, la salade, les oignons rouges, les frites aussi, franchement bien. Le prix est de 18€, pas choquant pour un aéroport. La weissbier erdinger pour accompagner le tout est un incontournable. Merci !

They did not have a ham and cheese croissant, but they were nice enough to make me one anyway. My server was very friendly and very helpful when I asked where my gate was. I was not able to get her name because she was so busy. Blond hair is what I remember. So thank you to her and the good food and drinks.

We have chosen Selmans for a coffee because it looked cosy. Tables could do with a wipe. I ordered my coffee at the bar, paid £11.90 for 2 coffees. They were given to me in a paper cup even though I have not been asked if I want them to go. I have asked the serving member of staff if they don’t serve it in a proper Glass/cup. She seemed annoyed I was asking and just tipped the Latte Macchiato in a glass and the milk coffee in the cup instead of preparing a fresh cup. No apology or smile. Looking around I can see other people sitting there and everyone received their hot drink in a paper cup. Is it to save yourself work? Is the dishwasher broken or do you just want to create bigger piles of waste?

We had an hour to have lunch - and were pleasantly surprised to have such a delicious asian meal at an airport restaurant! We eat out quite a bit and know asian cuisine - wonderfully seasoned Chicken Curry, a well-seasoned ramen dish, accompanied by a great crisp Pinot Grigio! The wine list is also delightful! Service and staff were very friendly, courteous always with a smile on their faces! We will be back there soon!!

Despite the fixed decor board’s advertising dishes and their website menu with a wide spread of offerings we were told that there was no kitchen and so only what was on display. 1 salad, 1 pasta, 2 baguettes and a glass of wine = 70euros. Would not give us tap water, insisting we bought bottled. Just very disappointing and expensive all round.

Wir durften vor unserem Abflug unser Frühstück genießen. Lange hatten wir keinen solch exzellenten Service, unsere Bedienungsmitarbeiterin Claudia las uns jeden Wunsch von den Lippen ab. Vielen Dank!! Unbedingt weiter zu empfehlen!

Das leckere Essen, werde ich in Erinnerung behalten und komme bei meinem nächsten Flug sehr gerne wieder, um meinen Hunger zu stillen. Der Kaffee nach dem Essen hat mir auch sehr geschmeckt.

Die Preise im Selmans sind absolut normal für ein Restaurant im Flughafen. Mit den Portionen war ich auch sehr zufrieden, völlig ausreichend und es wird alles frisch zubereitet, da gibt es nichts zu meckern.

Das Team von Selmans ist sehr gut gelaunt und es herrscht eine angenehme Atmosphäre. Die Bestellung konnte ich schnell aufgeben und musste auch nicht lange auf den Service warten, obwohl so einiges los war.
