This place met all of my expectations and Cherryl went above and beyond to make sure we had an enjoyable fine dining experience!! Would definitely recommend making a reservation beforehand because they are busy!

This was my second visit. Unfortunately, this time I wasn't entirely satisfied with the restaurant's service. While neighboring tables were constantly being asked if everything was okay, I, as the only guest, was ignored throughout my entire stay. Ordering was uncoordinated due to unclear responsibilities and the fact that English was spoken throughout. I had to ask for each course I ordered several times, resulting in a very long wait. The menu is very straightforward. However, the quality of the food is excellent and presented with great attention to detail. Unfortunately, the wine I ordered arrived much too late. The breakfast buffet the next morning impressed with its extensive selection and excellent service.

We went for Sunday brunch and were greeted with a delicious drink. The food was very high quality, the service was very friendly, and the staff were great, with live piano music in a modern and cozy atmosphere.

Food was good. Asked for a refill on coffee and was brought a second cup and charged for two cups of coffee! Service was excellent! Our waiter, Samlambe was very personable and provided the touch to cause writing this review. Very convenient to the airport.

Perfect way to start your day! We stayed at the wonderful Hilton Munich airport hotel. This restaurant was fantastic! Greeted with a smile by the host and the first class service by Valentino! He was personable and profession-a delight… I would always ask for him :) My soy latte was a nice addition for sure! The omelette chef created my delicious main course and lots of other delicious additions at the buffet to make the perfect start to my day!

We had a great experience in a very pleasant atmosphere. It meals were savory and filling. Cherryl made our experience wonderful. We have come here a few times over the years and she always remembers us each time. With a warm welcome.

I am a returning guest at Hotel Hilton, I love the Hotel, and its restaurant, the Mountain Hub is really top! The whole atmosphere, the food, the staff etc are excellent, especially the hostess, Cherryl, who is super kind, and looking after all the needs of the guests.

The breakfast was absolutely wonderful. Specially the three egg omelette. Tender, fluffy, tasty. And also Samlambe helped us a lot. His service was outstanding, fast, accurate, and very friendly.

I was sent here by the Hilton hotel for dinner. It was around 10:30 pm, and I asked if I could sit down for dinner and was told yes. I waited at least 20 minutes and no one came, even though there were no more than 10-15 people in the restaurant and at least 3-4 waiters. At that point, I went to ask if I should order at the counter and was told they would come… After a few minutes, another waiter came to the table and I ordered a vegan dish. I waited another 20 minutes, by which time it was after 11, and I asked about my dish. The waiter said he would check, and when he came back, he told me the kitchen was already closed. I told him I'd arrived 40 minutes early, and he told me I could just order pizza or goulash! I told him I don't eat meat or gluten, and he didn't know what to say. At that point, I was too nervous and hungry to say anything politely, so I got up to go to my room. No one stopped me to apologize or offer me any other alternative. Terrible service.

I was shocked to have this kind of meal at an airport hotel- I mean that in the most positive way ! Also Maximo was great with wine recommendations and general polish and hospitality skills.

I came to the restaurant alone and the restaurant was almost empty and I ordered bread, potatoes and salmon only and I waited for about an hour and a half, knowing that it was empty and the reason is that the manager is Indian I think and the order came out very bad, the service is bad and the taste is also bad and the one who works 👎👎

I hate leaving negative reviews so I only do in exceptional circumstances. This is one of those. This was terrible. How hard is it to serve a chicken breast and a steak at the same time? Turns out that it was really easy. The waitress bought the chicken and placed it between my self and my wife as if we were to share it. When I asked where the steak was she looked totally confused but said she’d go check. I never saw her again so the chicken got cold when I got the attention of a different server and asked him to take the cold chicken back and serve the meals together he gave me the filthiest look and wandered off. The lady who showed guests to the table, Cheryl, then tried to put things right. We watched as all diners that had come into the restaurant after us were served but we sat there with nothing. After 20 minutes we walked out. Cheryl spoke to us as we went to exit and was extremely apologetic and professional but we didn’t see a manager or any chef with an apology. Look I get that this was probably a rare occurrence but come on Mountain Hub train the staff better. This was not good.

The ambiance of the restaurant was delightful, beautiful, clean, comfortable and welcoming. The staff was amazing they deserve 5+, they were all pleasant, helpful and all worked together as a team. The menu was very nice with great choices and a number of items we wanted to try. We chose the salmon which was good, ordered the peppercorn sauce that was ok. Not like some side sauces that your tastebuds are wanting more, this was just ok. The sauted potatoes with the salmon were amazing, spiced nicely and with some onions . We also ordered the seasonal special that was tenderloin tips, with mushrooms in a tomato pasta. The pasta was fairly bland, could barely find the mushrooms and the tenderloin seemed to have been precooked and a few pieces sprinkled on the pasta, the tenderloin was overcooked. The side salad with the pasta dish was great fresh greens and cucumber, radishes and a lovely lite vinaigrette dressing, this was great. Portions were generous and presentation was great. We enjoyed our meal, just not a wow. I would like to go back and try other options.

We had a great experience at Mountain Hub Social Dining. Especially for a hotel restaurant, the food and service exceeded my expectations. Service by our server, Luca, was fantastic. He was personable, fun and helpful. Our group was tired at the end of a long trip and dinner here was an unexpected delight.

We stayed at the Hilton in Munich to catch an early am flight and had dinner at Mountain Hub. They had a good varierty on the menu and the good was also good - hot and fresh. Mamdouh was our server and was very attentive - just great. The restaurant was busy, but we never ran out of drinks and he checked on us often. He was very pleasant. I hope if you go here, you get him as your server.

I highly recommend the Sunday brunch. Our friends were also very impressed. You get an unusual selection of food for your money. Various coffees, teas, juices, water, and sparkling wine are included. We've been there several times and will be happy to come again. It's the best option for brunch in our area.

By the way, "kitchen": The exquisite Wienerschnitzel was once again phenomenally delicious! As a Viennese, I've never devoured such an unsurpassably perfect schnitzel! (Not even in Vienna) Not "just" the food was perfect, but so were your service staff (I won't say "waiters," because that would be derogatory). What might be "waiters" elsewhere are highly qualified guest attendants to you! And the ambiance? Simply an oasis of well-being! I'm looking forward to returning to you in a month! When great expectations met the reality. We visited on Tuesday, to try the schnitzel special. It took more than an hour for the food to be served and more 30 minutes for the desserts. Unfortunately, it's not worth the hype and the high price.

Mountain Hub was an unexpected surprise during our 13 hour layover in Munich. Fantastic service from management trainee Vish with great recommendations and even a cultural tip or two. Yummy food in a modern vibe setting.

A pleasant experience that we'll repeat soon. The staff definitely makes you feel welcome as a guest, and for 2-3 hours, it feels like a spontaneous mini-vacation. Very well organized in a pleasant atmosphere. Keep it up and don't let up ;-))

Anyone who is often at Munich Airport for departures or arrivals and chooses the Hilton as their hotel will probably also like this restaurant. Inspired by Alpine cuisine but served with Bavarian friendliness. There is enough space for many guests. Sometimes a little loud, but it tastes delicious and you usually don't have to wait long.

It was a completely normal Wednesday. Aaaaaaaahhhh. The two of us checked into the Hilton in the evening. Since we were already hungry from the train ride, we went to this establishment. Even though it made a good impression from the outside, disillusionment quickly set in inside. The waiters didn't seem like trained staff. They were certainly friendly. But when we asked for a wine recommendation, we were of course recommended the most expensive and strongest wine to pair with beef. We chose a Penfolds Shiraz. What we didn't know. The wine was from 2022. Far too young and would certainly have had to be stored for another 2 years. But that's ok, it was a bargain. €54 for a wine that costs €11 in the store. The wine wasn't even decanted. Well, the meal was a comparable disillusionment. The beef was ok but nothing special. I think you get similar quality with the XXXLutz. For dessert there was an “iced Keizerschmarrn”. Uh! You know that. One would think. In this restaurant, Kaiserschmarrn means vanilla ice cream with berry roaster. Of course, such information could not be written into the card. Then the surprise would be ruined. The whole circus for almost €200 and because we were still hungry afterwards, we went to the Mci opposite. We should have done it straight away. All in all you can say I didn't expect anything and was still disappointed.

Our waiter Alifo was kind and knowledgeable and quick. I highly recommend the Golden Eye for dessert!

The Mountain Hub Social Dining at Munich airport has Wiener Schnitzel on the menu it proved to be very disappointing. Likewise, the rest of the menu is very limited and not much better. To cap things off it is very expensive.

I normally do not leave negative restaurant reviews. As someone with close friends and family, as well as personal experience, in the service industry, I usually like to keep complaints directed to staff and management. However, when staff brush off complaints or lecture me for bringing it up, then I'm left with no other choice. Went for dinner while waiting overnight at the Munich Airport. Went with a work colleague who was doing the same. We arrived with nobody else really seated, and had relatively prompt, friendly service. We waited over 45 minutes for food. About 30 minutes into the wait our server informed us that our ticket had never been entered, so our food was delayed. Offered a free drink on the house, fine. I was offered a glass of wine, and received the smallest pour I have ever seen from a wine glass (maybe 1.5oz). Dinner arrived, and the food was by and large excellent, except that my steak was overcooked (medium instead of medium-rare). I continued to eat it, thinking maybe it was properly done in the centre. Unfortunately, no. I brought this to the attention of the server, as a polite advisory to the kitchen, who apologized sincerely, but returned two minutes later to lecture me for having continued to eat it. That was definitely a first. Some delay in getting our dessert order, but it arrived promptly enough. Then...we waited. And waited. And continued to wait for 30 minutes after our plates were taken away. Nobody asking if we wanted another drink or the cheque. I made eye contact with two staff, including our server, both who acknowledged me and promptly walked away. My colleague finally got up to ask. When our server finally came with the cheques, I remarked that I'd made eye contact, she'd walked away, and we'd been waiting thirty minutes. She visibly looked irritated, caught herself, gave a snippy apology, and left. While I understand that the restaurant had become busy, being outright ignored for over half an hour is unacceptable. In total, 3 hours was spent there, of which 45 minutes saw actual food on the table.

Very quiet place with great food. The music is great and you can barely hear it perfect for a nice conversation. The service is also great, super friendly specially Cherryl. She made our dinner time a very happy experience super respectful and always smiling. We both ordered the steak which was delicious and the pumpkin risotto was to die for.

We ate here on the last night of our vacation, as we were traveling back home in the morning. The food was soo good but the service was uber slow and almost non existent. As a career restaurant worker, i almost walked up to the line to tell the chef what a shit show the front of the house was. I should have. Maybe the server was brand new. He had zero personality or any eagerness to be serving guests at all. Other tables were also having issues. Maybe they were just understaffed. Idk but we had to get up and ask someone else for the check because we were sitting with empty plates for about 20 minutes. I guess no dessert for us. Oh well 🤷‍♂️

We went there for breakfast today. The food was very good; there's nothing to complain about. However, I personally think €42 per person for a breakfast buffet is a bit too expensive. Still, 5/5 stars.

Many thanks to the service and kitchen, who gave us and our dog a warm and friendly welcome shortly before the lunch kitchen closed! We were able to enjoy the menu with starter and main course. For me Caesar salad and Wiener schnitzel. A small note to the restaurant: The upgrade prices for the Caesar salad (chicken or shrimp) were not directly visible on the place cards. However, this is only a small thing and has no influence on the overall positive impression. Our “New Year’s Eve Lunch” was perfect – a wonderful start to the new year 2025!

We had 3 fantastic breakfasts here as hotel guests. The breakfast buffet was rich, with freshly squeezed juices, good coffee, cold cuts, cheeses, fish, salads, fruits, yogurt, pastries, breads, hot international and local dishes.

Amazing, unexpectedly we stayed in this hotel while our flight was delayed and we dined here… and have to say it was more than pleasant, including our waiter Luca who was more than accommodating with our party We shall be back

More than an hour wait for a simple Wiener Schnitzel and a plate of kids pasta feels like a contender for the Guinness World Records. The waiting staff were kind and courteous, but it was clear they were trying their best to cover for the delays. Price-value ratio is very low.

If you want the best experience in Munich airport - this is the place ! Cherryl alone made our experience amazing with 18mo old baby - cherryl is the best !! Also if you stay at Hilton best breakfast we have had in hotel ! We have lived in this airport for 3 days in a row - twice and Cherryl made it worth the flight troubles. Thank you Cherryl !!!

We were disappointed with the quality of the food at Christmas brunch last year, especially the taste. However, we wanted to give you another chance. And we weren't disappointed this year. Very good in terms of taste and quality. The only point of criticism would be the selection of vegetarian, warm food. Here there are only side dishes and cheese spaetzle. In this day and age it is imperative to offer proper vegetarian food.

Wow!!! What a treat it was. Only had a layover but this was an amazing experience. Beautiful place, wonderful staff and excellent food. Can’t ask for anything more than that. Highly recommend if you’re in the area.

We had a voucher for the Rocky Mountain Buffet, which unfortunately wasn't available under a new chef. Unfortunately, you don't find out about this on the website; it's only when you get there that it says 'no buffet'. The value of the voucher was at least credited towards the a la carte meal. The menu is clear and the prices are high. Unfortunately our food didn't live up to the expectations. The entrecote was almost completely cooked through instead of medium rare and, at most 1.5-2cm thick, not really what you would expect from a €42 steak. A complaint to the service was shrugged off, no apology or offer to correct it. The side dish 'fried potatoes' were thinly sliced ​​slices soaked in oil. They probably forgot the frying part of the potatoes - you could think that slices of the potato gratin were misused here. The chicken was very dry and there was hardly any sauce. The negative - highlight was the iced Kaiserschmarrn - 4 blocks of milk ice cream with a fat glaze and a handful of raisins has nothing to do with Kaiser - it's pure 'Schmarrn'. In general, the atmosphere was more like a fast-food restaurant and the air conditioning always tried to keep the room temperature at 18 degrees - not a place where you would want to have a coffee or digestive after your meal. The Mountain Social Dining Hub is bad advertising for having a Michelin star in the same building. The first and last visit for us. The Mountain Hub Social Dining Hub is certainly not worth the journey from Munich, as the city has much higher quality to offer in the same price range.

Not the best in restaurants. I had the veal. Nice piece of meat. Then it appeared to be boiled and seared. Completely tasteless. Bland looking after you remove the rest of the presentation. The potatoes dry and bland. Not sure what the chef was trying for but totally lost it beyond trying to make food art. The schnitzel was also over cooked and dry. Honestly the worst meal I had through Germany and Austria. Skip the exorbitant pricing and go into the airport square and get a good meal.

This restaurant and this team working here is absolutely amazing specially Mr.Maximo and Miss Linh they made our evening will definitely come back. Suggesting this place to everyone. 👍👍👍

The food was excellent, especially the fillet steak and the desserts, the strudel and the Bavarian cream. The service, by the kind and sweet cherryl, was above and beyond all expectations.

We waited almost 1.5 hours for our food. Plates weren't cleared away. We arrived by car and were told on the phone where to park at the airport. We then asked whether the ticket could be validated. Luckily that was answered in the affirmative, but there was a big surprise down in the garage. The ticket was not validated, 24€ parking fees for 3 hours of dinner.

Cherryl did an amazing job. Not only was she the host, she also was the server. She did such an amazing job working and always having a good attitude. She was very sweet and gave great advise on the food. Everything was great.

We were here for Sunday brunch and unfortunately I wasn't particularly impressed: - In parallel, the “double pass” format will be broadcast directly in front of the Mountain Hub at the same time. This makes it very restless and you can hardly hear the piano music anymore because the bass from the studio can be heard through the windows. - The service is hardly present. Clearance is only available upon request. You have to get new cutlery yourself. - Individual egg dishes (e.g. a simple omelette) are not available due to staff shortages. - Coffee is only available from fully automatic machines. As I was informed, the portafilter is not available due to the television broadcast running at the same time. The piano music is great and the buffet is refilled fairly quickly. Nevertheless, we have had much better brunch.

After a missed connection with Lufthansa we had to spend the night in Munich. We requested the Airport Hilton as yet another Lufthansa issue caused us to spend an unexpected 9 hours at the airport. That time we enjoyed a wonderful bottle of wine and dinner before we went on to our final destination in the late evening. This time we able the enjoy a much needed glass of wine and dinner as well as an amazing breakfast buffet. The host for dinner, Cherryl C, took care of us all the way from getting us a table on a very booked night and even delivering our food to us. She was full of personality and cheery greetings. At breakfast Sebastian M. seated us when I inquired about where the pots of hot tea were he accompanied me in over and then brought them to our table along with hot milk. The buffet is self serve but Sebastian went above and beyond, much appreciated by a wear traveler. All the juices were fresh squeezed and they had omelets made to order. In fact they had anything one could want from any country. We would gladly stay here again by choice rather than by disrupted travel! Not sure about flying Lufthansa though!😉
