Food & service top👍, we were very satisfied.

Hey, I already wrote a review that I don't think was that bad, but now, almost six weeks later, I'm still kind of upset. I'm vegan and thought it was great that you offer vegan options. The fact that I didn't like the Chicken Lime Bowl that much is probably my problem. It was too mushy for me. But I'm serious about having to pay €2.30 extra for vegan nuggets and €1.50 for a small vegan mayo. I get a 2.50 ml bottle at Penny for €1.19. Hi, I get the non-vegan ones in the store.

I heard that the Schweinske restaurant serves good food, but unfortunately it's mediocre. Too bad Unfortunately you could only get counter seats, although a lot of tables were free the whole time, probably reservations for the evening. Next HH visit without Schweinske

So, I'm not really writing a review, but I do want to point out one thing: It's the only place for miles around that makes decent fried potatoes. Delicious! I hope it stays that way.

Was there for breakfast with my sister-in-law this morning. Very pleasant atmosphere and very attentive and friendly staff. Who makes the effort to write little stories, such as: ❤️ to draw under the coffee cups. I had the cheese pork, which was very tasty and filling. The price was more than fair. We'll definitely take a look again when we're back in Hamburg...Unless the Schweinske is also opening a restaurant in Lübeck. 😉 Then of course we’re there at the start.

Schweinske Lurup – delicious food and a cozy atmosphere! Schweinske in Lurup is always a good choice. The food is delicious, the portions are generous, and the prices are fair. The schnitzel dishes and burgers in particular are my favorites. The atmosphere is cozy and the staff is always friendly and attentive. Absolutely recommended for a relaxed meal with family or friends!

The service deserves an A+! Here there is also the careful service to the guests. A special thank you goes to dear Steffi. She made this restaurant visit something very special. We were there with the family including a small child on a Saturday lunchtime and were able to enjoy very good food and service in a feel-good atmosphere. Absolute recommendation!

We eat here often and have been very satisfied so far. Unfortunately today (11/17/24) the food was disappointing. As always, we were served quickly and friendly. However, the food was not tasty (both schnitzels had no taste, fries were raw and not crispy). For the first time, we didn't want to take/save a lot of the leftovers (schnitzel, meat and fries). What happened today?

Nice restaurant with very good food! We were there for a late lunch on Saturday. The food was very good. I had the kale with a side of meat (really delicious!) and fried potatoes. My friends were also very happy with their choice (schnitzel and grill plate). We were able to linger and chat there. Although the restaurant was getting increasingly full, it wasn't unpleasantly loud and we were able to have a good conversation. There was also dessert and other drinks. I particularly enjoyed the apple strudel and the homemade lemonades here. The service was very friendly, quick and well organized. All in all, this is how we imagined a lovely late afternoon 🙂

On October 19, 24, 3 of us spontaneously went there for dinner without a reservation. Even though it was full, everyone pulled out all the stops to get us a table. We would be served quickly and quickly but still well. The food was really good and very tasty. People often asked if everything was good and if you needed anything else. I can now recommend the Schweinske Lurup.

I was recently at Schweinske and unfortunately I can only report a very disappointing experience. The ambience was okay and the restaurant was clean, but that was the only positive thing. The waiting time for our ordered food was unreasonably long. We had to wait for over an hour and to my surprise, guests who had arrived after us were served their food first. When I asked why we had to wait so long, I was told that the other tables could be served quicker and were therefore prioritized. Such handling is incomprehensible to me and absolutely unprofessional. When our food finally arrived I was very disappointed. The food was cold, the portions were far too small and the food was also unseasoned. You expect the quality of the food to be high in a restaurant, but that was definitely not the case here. Overall, it was an extremely frustrating experience characterized by poor service quality and poor food quality. I can't recommend going to Schweinske and we definitely won't be back. There are many other restaurants that offer better service and quality.

Too bad. Before a concert we tried to celebrate a friend's 30th birthday with dinner here. We thought that over two hours would easily be enough. Wrong thought. Drinks arrived with only a slight delay - but our meal (9 people) took an hour and a half. Guests who arrived more than half an hour after us (and had ordered accordingly) had already finished their food when we were finally able to ask the waiter where our order was. Two of the schnitzels we ordered came with cold fried potatoes and were tough as a shoe. It's a shame, we're used to something completely different from other Schweinske branches. We definitely won't be coming back here again.

As always on Sunday, it's full but you know that, the service was super friendly and quick. The food (small morning meal with scrambled eggs) was, as always, good. The Schweinske is rustically furnished but I find it cozy. If the weather is right it's nice to sit outside and eat or just have a drink

Unfortunately only 3 stars because we actually came for breakfast and that was what we were told upon arrival. That there are no more rolls. It was about 10:30 a.m. then. Breakfast in this restaurant is served until 1:30 p.m. The farmer's breakfast we then ordered was good. People always complain. You don't get enough for the price, but I have to say that there was almost too much ambience and it was okay. The service was great.

The food (vegetarian burger & pulled pork bowl) was very tasty and the portions were decent. Price/performance is definitely right here. The service staff that afternoon were extremely friendly and in a good mood. Definitely a recommendation.

We had breakfast at Schweinske in the morning, the food came quickly, the service was very friendly and everyone enjoyed it very much. In the evening we thought we would also go to Schweinske's. I'm from the industry myself and there wasn't much going on. We waited at least 30 minutes before we were even noticed and could order drinks/food. We ordered 2 schnitzels and a salad. The schnitzels were ok but my friend's salad wasn't cleaned properly.Obviously! Unfortunately, we couldn't let you know how we wanted to pay until we were simply ignored. The waitress told the kitchen and there was no response, as if nothing had been said. The service is very unfriendly and you don't need to use your tone incorrectly. Thank you, we won't be coming anymore

When ordering away from home, the portions are getting smaller and smaller, the food tastes good, but it's a disgrace how small the portions have become

Unfortunately the food today was very disappointing. A children's portion was sold as an adult portion. The fries (see photo) were limp. The chicken nuggets were completely over salted. The accompanying salad was inedible. The tomato slice and the cucumber slice had been lying there for a very long time. The salad tasted musty. On the grill plate, the fries were completely over salted and the salad wasn't fresh either. There were always rolls with it, but not this time. We've been getting our food from Schweinske every now and then for years, I think that was the last time. A pity.

Staff super friendly! The food is always delicious and I always come here for the super delicious farmer's breakfast! Only recommended! And I'm often one of the best at Schweinske, keep it up 👍 Enjoyed the good weather outside today. Here you can sit wonderfully on the street. There's actually not much to say. The store is clean, the staff is nice and courteous, and the prices are absolutely fair and affordable. It's not just eating that's fun here; neighbors also enjoy going there again and again. Oh yes, parking on Luruper Hauptstr. That's one thing, but there are delicious things to eat 😉

I was there for lunch today, what can I say, it was as delicious as it was back then, way back then with mom. Such good German cuisine, I'm so glad it still exists. There was pollack fillet with potatoes and leek cream sauce. The fillet was fried to perfection, the sauce with the leek in it was tasty and the potatoes were cooked perfectly. I don't even know the last time I ate such awesome potatoes, it must have been three hundred years ago... or just like when I was a child when we had Sunday roast. Great, my plate was empty in less than 10 minutes, nothing left, not a tiny bit. Only the tomato salad would have been more loving if it had been cut smaller and not drowned in its own juice - it still tasted good. There was also the service staff, she was courteous, attentive and super friendly - just a sweet girl who makes you feel comfortable when you serve her and who not only understands her craft, but also enjoys doing it. All in all: I felt really good!!

We were here with my girlfriends. We wanted to have a few cocktails. On the website and on Google it says that the restaurant is open until 10:30 p.m. But at 9:50pm we were told that we would no longer be served and had to leave the place as it closed at 10pm. Please correct the opening hours and don't mislead people.

I have already written an email. There were only excuses for the bad condition there. (Too few staff, broken tap system, drinks only came at the end of the meal and the food came without cutlery. The waiter just fired the things onto the table and without saying a word.) Catastrophe.

Went to the Schweinske again for breakfast. Service great. Breakfast still looks spartan, but it's enough so that your plate is empty - you're full and nothing has to be thrown away 👌

Everything tasted okay for my taste. Staff friendly. For those with reduced mobility: the toilets are in the basement. Stairs only. Calmly take a closer look at the no-parking signs in front of the door. These were/are limited in time, so I often parked somewhere else, even though parking there would have been okay on that day/time 😊

A great German cuisine restaurant. The restaurant was at capacity. After we made a reservation in the morning, our reservation was canceled by email. We only noticed this when we were already in the restaurant. Despite being very busy, we were kindly able to stay, which made us very happy :) The service was very friendly, the order was taken quickly and the food was brought quickly. A very good restaurant with great service. The baked potato with turkey strips was delicious! Definitely recommended.
