The service and food were really good! When will Bear Claw be opening in Düsseldorf and the surrounding area (e.g., Westfield CentrO)?

Bear Claw was really good – a super delicious Philly cheese sandwich, fast service, and a great atmosphere. Everything was fresh and top-notch. I can highly recommend it! I'll definitely be back.

We thought the smash burger was delicious. It wasn't anything completely extraordinary that you've never eaten before, but you can't go wrong with it either. The food arrived quickly, and the service was great.

Unfortunately, the shop at Langenhorner Markt is no longer there. There's a new shop in the Westfield Center. However, the photos and reviews here are from both shops?! That's misleading. The food is okay, but not at those prices.

€39.80 for two small veggie chicken burgers + fries and a drink. The burgers tasted good, the fries were bland (little salt or hardly any seasoning). Drinks were cold, and the cola was a bit under-carbonated. Service was very good and friendly. Two stars deducted for the following: 1. Veggie products were €1 more expensive than the version with more animal cruelty. 2. The fries were only edible with (far too much) ketchup and mayo. 3. Almost €40 for the two really small burgers with fries and a cola. Despite the location, that doesn't feel appropriate to us. My recommendation: Just eat the burgers and treat yourself to something from one of the other vendors to satisfy your remaining hunger.

Bag Stolen - No Help from Staff There were four of us (two adults, two children) at Bear Claw. The food was okay, but the visit ended in disaster. I lost (stole?) my bag containing €250 in cash, cards, keys, and driver's license. When I asked the staff for help and suggested checking the cameras, they simply refused. No support, no sympathy. On top of that, we apparently overpaid €7-8. There was no proper receipt, just a simple card payment slip. Bottom line: Be extremely careful! Theft seems to be a problem here, and you're completely on your own in the event of an emergency. A very disappointing experience.

First of all: the staff weren't super nice at all, the food came pretty quickly, but for my taste, it was way too loud and hectic. Yes, I know there aren't any quiet restaurants, but despite that, the music was way too loud to have a proper conversation, and the conversations were correspondingly loud, so you couldn't really eat in peace. The food came quickly, but some of it wasn't even warm, and the fries were cold and some weren't even cooked through. For that kind of money, I expect at least hot food.

Strange restaurant philosophy. Soft drinks on the kids' menu don't include standard soft drinks. Spoiler alert: Juices and spritzers aren't soft drinks. 0.33 is usually too much for kids under 10. With the adult menu, switching from a soft drink to a beer costs a €3 surcharge. This is also a disgrace, as it makes the beer more expensive than it appears on the drinks menu, making the menu less attractive in terms of price.

Service extremely unfriendly and passive aggressive

Sunday evening for a smashed burger and sweet potato fries and a drink. It wasn't really busy, but check-in at the entrance still took a while. You could have ordered from the table via the app. That would definitely have been doable. But I don't look into the organization; that's the responsibility of the owners. Nice industrial atmosphere, friendly and attentive staff, solid selection, burgers and fries were okay. The price was a bit high, though. Still good, thanks for the service.

We were there on Wednesday. I had the truffle burger with fries and truffle mayo. I've never been so disappointed. The mayo simply contained truffle oil. The burger wasn't particularly special as a result, and the meat was rather dry. You can also buy truffle paste at Metro. Every chef or restaurant owner knows this paste, which is incredibly inexpensive but simply makes a difference in terms of taste and appearance.

We just stopped for a quick drink before heading to the Lego Center, and the service here was super friendly. We'd love to come back!

The food is a 2 out of 5. The fries are delicious, but taste a bit like potato bears. The burgers are pretty average and very greasy. The table was a bit dirty, so... The music, however, is a 5 out of 5, so it's a recommendation for fans of great 2000s beats.

We were welcomed very politely and quickly found a table. Regular smash burger is so delicious, french fries are extra crunchy! Waiters were all so polite and helpful, they have a big smile on their faces all the time. But bedside all these positive things, our orders were on the table in 2 minutes! Wow! Waiting 15 minutes outside until one can order and then could enter the restaurant is a weird concept and only one person at the counter who takes the order and takes each guest inside and comes back is not very customer friendly. Delicious burgers and fast cooking

If you don't care too much about the food and want to spend your money wisely, then you can eat there. Dirty chair backs and a random delivery of the menu you ordered at the counter, based on your seating instructions, make this restaurant visit a very special experience.

We were sent away a few minutes before 8 p.m. – not by the staff themselves, but by other guests, who told us that they were no longer accepting orders. I hadn't expected such arrogance to arise so soon after opening. After reading the reviews, we're ultimately grateful to have been spared something even worse (the food). There won't be a second attempt.

My recent visit to Bear Claw was unfortunately a huge disappointment. I was looking forward to a delicious burger, but I was disappointed in several ways. Hello everyone, I just wanted to share something that struck me as very unpleasant today (June 12, 2025) while visiting your branch. The employee – she was a bit chubby and was wearing a pink T-shirt – blew her nose loudly into a tissue just before handing me my burger, looked at the whole thing, and then gave me the burger (in its packaging) without washing her hands or changing gloves. To be honest, that was pretty unappetizing. The burger itself tasted perfectly fine, but the way it was handed over was unfortunately not right at all. She wasn't friendly either, by the way – the overall impression was rather unpleasant. I don't want to embarrass anyone, but hygiene should really be your top priority – especially when it comes to food. Perhaps this could be clearly addressed again within the team.

We went to Bear Claw in Westfield and were sadly disappointed. The price-performance ratio here is not right at all. The burgers are far too expensive. I had the Double Smash Burger, which was already half cold. The burger had no taste and was completely greasy. My husband had the chicken burger with pulled chicken. Normally, pulled chicken is juicy. Here, the meat was just full of fat and inedible. The fries were okay, but nothing special. The beer was tasty and fresh. The service was nice and friendly.

The burger was great, but I went there with my dad on Father's Day and they were out of fries or sweet potato fries (they were the only side dishes they had on their menu). They did give us a free drink, but people who ordered after us still got fries, even though we were told there were none. The response when we asked the server why they were still getting fries was not the best and, in my opinion, rude. I think the team clearly has no idea how to plan orders to prevent this from happening!

We wanted to grab a bite to eat during our shopping trip and saw the good reviews for the Bear Claw. At first, we thought it was a separate restaurant, but it's actually integrated into the food hall on the first floor. You order at the counter like at a fast-food chain and are then assigned a table where you pay after you've eaten. It's an interesting concept. Prices are quite high, but the food was good. However, it was very crowded and extremely loud. It's not a place to linger for long, but that's not what the concept is intended to be.

The pulled beef tasted mediocre. Served semi-cold. The fries were soggy. In my opinion, it's completely overpriced and overrated.

Ouch. You can go premium, as you showed in Langehorn, but the new "concept" falls far short of that standard. The 4.5 stars you currently have refer to the years you spent at the old location. I can only recommend everyone pay close attention to the age of the comments here. Sorry, but that was nothing. If you've recovered, fine. But sorry, but that was nothing at all.

Unfortunately, the new "Bear Claw" no longer has anything to do with our favorite burger restaurant from Langenhorn. We can't rate the food at all because we didn't even get that far. First of all, just an electronic display with a very small selection of burgers, which unfortunately no longer have anything to do with the previous delicious creations such as the Banh Mi or the Tarragon Dijon. You practically can't get to the seating area until you've made your choice. Then no more choice of drinks with the homemade lemonades or similar. (Also switching from Fritz lemonades to Coca Cola products, even if that was just my personal problem) Nevertheless, we decided to order and that was the beginning of the end of the story. My husband doesn't like cheese (yes I know, I don't know why) so he just wanted to order one of the burgers without cheese. "This is not possible." Even after asking whether we had understood this correctly, we were told that it was not possible to prepare a burger without cheese. You ask yourself why, it just doesn't make any sense. It should be within the realm of possibility to simply leave out a slice of cheese or sprinkled cheese or whatever is being used. Yes, we left then. That's why we can't comment on the taste or serving time, but you can read the few new reviews that already exist. Unfortunately very disappointed, we will miss the Bear Claw very much. PS: Actually, you shouldn't be allowed to use the many good reviews anymore, because it's absolutely not the same, or even a similar, restaurant.

A lump of meat and mush in the bun. The pulled beef was completely "cooked to death" and had a strange taste. A stringy slush in a bun. Where was the cheese on the cheeseburger please? Or should this white paste be the cheese? I didn't find anything. No coasters under the glasses/bottles, everything gets wet straight away. No free choice of table or only very reluctantly, even though 30% of the shop was unoccupied. You don't have to go there a second time. All in all a very unpleasant experience.

We were there on May 2nd at 4:09 p.m. and had a waitress with pink hair, my friend got the wrong food so they just said, well, bad luck, I got my food 20 minutes later than my friend's and he was already finished eating... my food was also cold and I let it go back. Today I was in the bear claw, Ok Bear Claw sounds cooler than an English name. The veggie cheeseburger was tested as a menu with a drink and sweet potato fries. Plus an Americano to wake you up after the night shift. The burger tasted good, maybe a little less ketchup. I liked the veggie pull pork. The only drawback is the sweet potato fries, a little less in the deep fryer, then I would be very happy. The Americano was good and woke you up. The staff is friendly and polite. It's also very fast, which is great. You also have a nice view of the center from the window and the decoration is pleasantly subtle, matching the restaurant. I will definitely stop there again.

Bear Claw in Westfield, what can I say? Ambience with a run-of-the-mill interior, food (burgers, fries) average, burgers too spicy (why??), fries really oversalted! It took 25 minutes for someone to come by to take the order (OK, maybe because all the stores were full on the second day after the super-hyped Westfields opened). And on top of that came the incorrectly calculated bill, €20 too much. Hmmm, no thanks, not again.

The Langenhorn location did not work. Now in the first week in Westfield there are no physical menu cards because scanning on 2 cell phones was not possible. Then there were only 2 burgers to choose from for around €15 each and that without fries. Afterwards we didn't wonder why it was so empty.

The ambience was quite okay. However, the waitress ignored us for 20 minutes until we finally spoke to her. When the food was served, it was literally thrown onto the table. The drinks didn't come until we had already finished eating. Overall, rather disappointing - I'd rather not do it again.

A restaurant that was completely out of place. The ambience of a concrete hall may be modern and fashionable in Berlin. But in an urban village like Langenhorn with a high average age, this is simply bad planning. The store then closed after just a few years. I could have told you that beforehand.

Food top. Cleanliness of the toilets was catastrophic. Was there 10 minutes after opening. Toilets looked like they hadn't been cleaned in the last few weeks.

One of the best Burger options in Hamburg. After several visits and after trying several different Burgers.. I can say that all were delicious, with fresh ingredients and many options to combine them. The staff were always willing and friendly. In our taste, I would suggest Burger with Pulled Beef 🍔🍔
