Wir hatten noch Zeit bis zu unserer Abfahrt. An den Inbissständen wollten wir nichts essen, da hier die aufdringlichen Tauben über die Stände flogen. Das "Schweinske", mit seiner Verglasung hielt diese Viecher ab. Darum assen wir hier "Rundstück warm". Einfach lecker. 2 Scheiben warmer Schweinebraten auf auf Rundstück mit warmer Bratensosse. Satt und zufrieden traten wir dann unsere Heimreise an. Sehr empfehlenswert😋

If it was possible to leave 0 stars, I would. Sat and waited to order DRINKS for 30 minutes. Was totally ignored and finally left. The worst treatment in Germany.

We came back from the cruise. Had something to eat here before we continued our journey home. Our waitress, the old “Danish lady”, was very friendly, funny, welcomed us well and looked after us. We'd love to come back. Thank you

Too bad... We are in Hamburg 3-4 times a year. One of our first addresses to go out to eat is the Schweinske, unfortunately it has gone so badly the last three times that we have decided not to go there anymore!

We came here twice while passing through because we specifically went to this restaurant because of the good food. In any case, the service really needs to be underlined. The staff is very nice and incredibly child-friendly - on both occasions we were immediately given something to paint, were allowed to eat in the play area and were simply treated nicely. We are thrilled!

The atmosphere was comfortable but lacked something special. The service was polite, though not particularly attentive, and the food was decent but didn't stand out. It wasn't a bad experience, but expected a little more in terms of flavor and presentation. A few small improvements could make this place more memorable.

I like being here and eating something. The employees are friendly and accommodating. But also to have a little chat.

Very friendly service and delicious food with reasonable prices. All in all a good restaurant. There are also some vegetarian/vegan dishes on offer, but these are often more expensive than the meat version of the same dish... We would come back! :)

A huge thank you to our great waitress who made our breakfast a real highlight! Your friendly and attentive nature made us feel welcome from the start. She took perfect care of us, was always there when we needed anything and brightened our morning with her smile. The breakfast was delicious, but the service was the icing on the cake! We are already looking forward to the next visit and the bread.

Hamburg main station, a terrible and ugly place...and another three hours of waiting for our train... But then a ray of hope! The Restaurant/Cafe Schweinske, right in the train station building. Here we wanted to pass the time with our bags and luggage... and were immediately greeted in a friendly manner in the entrance area, served quickly at our seat and the food was an absolute dream in terms of price/performance! Luckily we discovered this place. This restaurant makes your stay in an otherwise terrible and dirty train station very pleasant. We happily waited here for the train for three hours! Absolutely recommended! If we ever find ourselves at Hamburg Central Station again, we'll be happy to come back!

Went there on a recommendation and I have to say that I was very surprised to find such a good restaurant at the train station. Friendly, fast service and very tasty food - one of the best schnitzels I've ever eaten. The only drawback: the toilets could have been cleaner, so no 5 stars. Otherwise highly recommended!

Really delicious & fresh schnitzels & burgers & really nice service staff. Plus, the price for Aperol Spritz is still fair here :) Perfect for a stop when you're in the city center and don't know where to eat.

Went to the restaurant today and were served by Nilu (hope I spelled it correctly). Super friendly on foot. Takes really good care of the guests and is always very friendly despite the high volume and stress. @Boss do everything you can to keep her)

Mettbrötchen, scrambled eggs and cola, what a mix, but it was worth it. Great, friendly, nice and therefore an absolute recommendation, even if you just want some peace and quiet. Even if you want to work in peace on your laptop, everything is possible, WiFi works without any problems, I will definitely come back.

Visited in September 2024. For beer, I drank Carlsberg Unfiltered(?) as recommended, and it was disgusting. Schnitzel, a German pork cutlet, was delicious, and the service was good, including adding chicken to the beef salad. The homemade sauce served as an appetizer was also interesting. The schnitzel tasted much better than in Frankfurt or Munich. The staff didn't ask for a tip, so I went back to see them. The young blonde female staff member was friendly. The location is the 2nd floor of the Jungang Station food court.

Everything was great, I was passing through and spontaneously went there for something to eat and drink. Also very vegetarian and vegan. I also ordered a super delicious cappuccino with oat drink. I'll definitely be back! :)

We spontaneously stopped in for breakfast and were served very friendly. The rolls were delicious, the scrambled eggs were fresh and there was even lactose-free milk for me. At the same time, the whole thing was very inexpensive!

Restaurant is located in the middle of Hamburg main station, nothing bad so far. However, when after ordering, around 4 mice ran through the dining room and grabbed the leftover food from the floor under the tables and the waitress called them circus mice, it was too much for us. The toilet facility was also not clean and there was no hand soap in the men's toilet. We're not coming anymore!

I am transgender today for breakfast and dinner in the evening. As always, the two waitresses were delicious and so incredibly friendly that I would be happy to come here again at any time

There are certainly nicer Schweinske branches than this one, but in hardly any other did I receive such nice service as I did here.

We were hosted by a super nice and extremely competent southern employee. She fulfilled all of our breakfast wishes. It was just great. If we've been to Hamburg, we'd love to come back.

Food is simply very, very good. Price performance cannot be topped. When we come to Hamburg from Nuremberg again, one thing is certain...Schweinske we will come...😁😉

I felt welcome and was presented with a Latte Machiatto with little hearts as decoration and a smile from the waitress. Gladly again!

Great for a quick meal before the trip

At the time, my favorite restaurant was to grab something quick to eat in the morning. Unfortunately, the quality and especially the quality of the service has decreased dramatically. After 15 minutes of waiting in a half-empty room, with the waitress walking past my table at least 6 times, I decided to have pieces of fruit elsewhere. It's actually a shame! Oh yes, I almost forgot - I had time to read through the menu - the well-known names of the dishes were left out, as were the prices, only the egg dishes are no longer included, but can be ordered for extra money.

We were 2 ladies for breakfast at the "Schweinske" in the main train station. And the day started really well... Our cheerful service girl Marina was super nice, quick and friendly. Thank you for the friendly start to the day. Greetings from the 2 pensioner ladies

Beer mats have been on the floor for almost 2 hours and the staff is constantly running past them and doesn't even have 1 second to pick them up. As a customer, I have to keep these beer mats? The staff completely ignores it!

For me, after being at this train station a few times, the Schweinske is the best place to rest. Located at the top of the train station, the Schweinske is rather quiet. The ambience is functional - but still cozy. The light is warm. There are small groups of tables. I tried the veggie burger because I didn't want to be tempted by the meat-heavy range of options. The bun is fresh and delicious. The burger sauce and garnish were delicious. The patty is something special: it's not some anonymous pseudo-hack patty. It's a fried vegetable patty with (recognizable!!!) corn, carrots and cauliflower. Very tasty - although more onions and a little spiciness could have been added to counterbalance the fried patty. But that's just my taste. As I said: delicious! I didn't need a supplement - but it's available. What strikes me: The prices are not the usual, high station prices. The burger for 10-12€. And - particularly nice for me - a cup of coffee, good coffee at that, for €1.60. The service is pleasantly friendly and accommodating. I felt very comfortable here. Everything is very neat, well maintained and clean. The food and drinks come quickly. Also at the other tables. There is a cute play area for children. The toilets are clean - but narrow. This could be difficult for people with disabilities. A great stay.

I sat down at the table with my companion and made eye contact with a waitress. After he "accepted" my signals he started to go to the counter to get drinks for other guests. We looked around the store and waited patiently. The waitress walks past you in an aggressive, threatening tone and barks at you. You shouldn't stare at him because that wouldn't make things go any faster. Thank you, we will never enter the store again!

SCHWEINSKE Hamburg main station. The staff are friendly and nice and the food is top. I'm still very excited because the schnitzel tasted so good and it looked great but it was also very filling. The side dishes for the schnitzel are fried potatoes, but you can also take fries. There was also a small healthy salad. The ambience of Schweinske is quite good and chic.
