SCHULZENS Hotel & Brauerei in Tangermünde

Schulzens is always worth a visit; the brewery alone is worth seeing, the restaurant offers delicious food, and the location is wonderful. For Schulzens' Christmas Brewery event, the courtyard and the Elbe garden are transformed into a Christmas wonderland. There's a wide variety of handcrafted items and delicious food and drinks. In the heated marquee, you can listen to good music and dance, and enjoy a delicious home-brewed beer or many other beverages at the bar. All in all, highly recommended. Keep up the good work, Schulzens!

We stayed at the hotel over the weekend. We booked half-board and were accommodated in the annex. The breakfast buffet was ample and delicious, and dinner was absolutely delicious, especially the beer from the hotel's own brewery. Many thanks to the staff at reception and in the restaurant for their friendly service. Tangermünde is well worth a visit. We had a truly wonderful weekend and will certainly return. We wish the entire team a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

We've stayed here several times and are always impressed by the staff and the generous breakfast buffet. We'd also like to commend the excellent dinner – it was a culinary delight. We stayed in the guesthouse. They even reserved a parking space for us. The staff is very friendly. Unfortunately, I have to deduct points for the missing bathmat, the ragged towels, and the noise from the security barge swaying in the wind. We also had half board, and even though one of our group members missed dinner, I was charged the full price for a salad starter instead of including it in the missed meal. The location is truly great, and the food in the restaurant is also delicious.

A grand cinema on the Tangier/Elbe River. Rustic food, chanterelle mushrooms à la mode. Beers to suit every taste. Cute little rooms, top-notch bathrooms. Some of the service is resolute.

We always enjoy staying at this hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is excellent. Anyone who criticizes the breakfast doesn't know what they're talking about. We always enjoy coming back!!!

Beautiful hotel, the luxury room was beautifully furnished, and the bathroom was modern and extremely chic. Very attentive staff, inexpensive but very tasty breakfast. And the house beer is delicious!

We "stumbled" upon this brewery by chance and found the staff we met to be all very friendly and helpful! The two beers we tried were extremely delicious, and the time travel experience and the Elbe terrace were absolutely fantastic. We were able to truly enjoy the beer there... Highly recommended! A super nice hotel with beautifully furnished rooms. Unfortunately, the bed squeaked with every movement, and the mattress sloped toward the middle, so you always rolled into the middle. There were cobwebs in the corners, but we still felt very comfortable.

We spontaneously stopped by the small beer garden for dinner. The food was fantastic and the price was reasonable. Service was perfect and very friendly. We'd love to come back.

We felt completely at home at Schulzens. The organization of our wedding reception went exactly as planned, and everything was perfectly prepared. On the day of the wedding, everything went perfectly; the ambiance was perfect for celebrating, and the catering and service were excellent. We would celebrate here again anytime.

Tangermünde is exceptional with its brick buildings and preserved city walls. The castle hotel adds the finishing touch to any stay.

It's a fantastic location, and we love being here. The brewery is great, and the beer tastes delicious! Unfortunately, they're out of bread… we're very sorry about that! The rooms are comfortably furnished, and it was clean!

The whole house exudes a certain sense of security and you immediately feel at home. My room was very clean and charmingly decorated. Someone has shown good taste here. The restaurant was quite busy and loud. It is admirable how the staff remains calm, friendly and overview. It looks very professional. I ordered the Jägerschnitzel like in the GDR era and it was very tasty. In terms of price, there is nothing to complain about either. There is nothing to complain about at breakfast either. You can start the day well and in peace here. So I can highly recommend the hotel and it's straight on my list for the next visit to beautiful Tangermünde. See you soon.

A city tour led past the hotel, which has its own brewery in the back yard. A tasting of the beer was a must. It came out of the tap nice and cool and was tasty. I could have failed. So it was taken away in bottles. 😊

Schulzens calls for a dance. The event took place in the large marquee. It was atmospheric. The music was really good. We danced really freely. But then the loudspeakers were turned up so loud that we had to leave. It was unbearable because our ears started to hurt. The later the evening, the louder the music. Incomprehensible to us, because it's not hard to hear and it would have been possible with fewer decibels. People were well motivated to have mood. But if you no longer understand your own words, then it really is too much of a good thing. The music sounds come out much better if you put a little less time on the speakers. Less really is more Luckily you always have the choice to go.

A beautiful property, perfectly located, we had a great weekend

We spent one night in this charming hotel and were completely satisfied. Our room was modern, newly renovated, bright and very clean - absolutely first class. In the in-house shop we were able to enjoy an excellent beer from our own brewery. The hotel's location in the heart of Tangermünde is ideal - the Elbe cycle path is also just a few minutes away. Our bikes were safely stored in the bike garage, which even has power connections. The breakfast was rich and very tasty. We can recommend the Hotel Schulzens without reservation. Everything was to our complete satisfaction.

Cohesively designed location centrally in pretty medieval Tangermünde. Half board (2 courses with starter or dessert) with a selection from a small menu was very good.

My husband and I had dinner there today. Unfortunately I have to tell you that the brewery goulash is not recommended. I couldn't eat it because it was completely over seasoned and the meat was partly hard. Our neighboring table gave it back straight away, unfortunately there was no reaction from the kitchen or the waiter. Expected something better at a price of €19. The beer there is highly recommended.

Tangermünde is a very beautiful, historic city that you have to see and experience. If the weather is good, a trip like this is an experience that you will remember fondly and for a long time.

The city as such is worth a trip and the hotel fits in very well. The room in the building next door was good, as an improvement I would suggest a small fridge and a kettle.

Beautiful little old town is worth a visit. We have been here several times. Definitely recommended. Of course the Ziegelrot beer is also delicious.

Very nice employees at the reception, dog-friendly too. cheeky dachshunds, right in the old town and on the Elbe. I'm not really drinking alcohol at the moment, well, I laid an egg myself to check into a brewery, but the house's draft brew was also delicious. I was annoyed that I hadn't booked breakfast. You have to come back again... Thanks for the stay!

Everything was nice so far. The service was very friendly and hardworking. Unfortunately we had a bit of bad luck with the room. Stains on the bed linen and a tear in the pillowcase. Flushing in the bathroom turned out to be a challenge during the daily morning toilet. We still liked everything very much. Many thanks to all the service staff and operators of this house and their projects.

Very nice welcome and nice service in the restaurant. Homemade beer is really good. 🍻 I would recommend that you go to the Kaisertherme thermal baths, 200m away, for wellness. Day ticket available for external guests from 3 p.m.

A very nice and centrally located hotel in historic walls. The room was extremely cozy and comfortable. The bed is back-friendly, the bathroom is very modern. Everything was very clean. A bottle of mineral water was also available. The staff is flexible, friendly and helpful. From the hotel you go directly to the beautiful old town of Tangermünde. The streets were festively decorated. The city is not overcrowded, at least in the winter season. As the name suggests, there is a brewery and restaurant and the possibility of purchasing specialties produced there. The hotel is not far from Tangermünde train station. Some Stendalbus Plus buses also run nearby.

A small brewery in the hotel's courtyard where you can try or buy up to 6 types of beer 🍺. These are also available in bottles, and guided tours (brewery training course) are also offered, which last about 4 hours. A short tour of the barn is also worth seeing, transported back to the GDR 👍🏿

We had a lot of fun with the brewing course. The included traditional brewery buffet also had a meat-free option upon request, and a lot of effort was made. It was very tasty. Great food, great entertainment, great ambience. Highly recommended as an experience!

Optimal location for exploring on foot in beautiful medieval Tangermünde. Still easy to reach by car, parking spaces available. Great service, friendly staff. Star deduction for the room, the room was simple but tidy, apparently had water damage a while ago and should not have been given as such.

A perfect place in the small imperial city of Tangermünde - also simply ideal for celebrating. The buffet was very tasty and the service was very attentive to us. We'd love to come back.

Far exceeded our expectations. Everything is consistent. Very good beds, great restaurant with very good food and not to forget very good beer. Many things that are fun to discover, such as the museum, the brewery or the terrace with a view of the Elbe.

Very good food and friendly service

It is a great accommodation in very old walls. Not brand new anymore, but clean and tidy. The in-house beer is extremely good and went perfectly with the European Championship atmosphere in the hotel's beer garden. The magic of the small old town could be felt everywhere and with sunshine and blue skies, the (only) one night in a group of 8 people will be remembered very well. Unfortunately the restaurant wasn't open, but the breakfast left nothing to be desired. Many thanks from us 8 cyclists.

Tangermünde, as an imperial city of the brick Gothic style, has a number of attractions and hotels. However, there are great packages and very healthy beer here. In a prime location with Elbgarten, the house can absolutely score points.

I can recommend the hotel with a clear conscience. The staff was always friendly and accommodating. The breakfast is very good. It's not a particularly large buffet, but there's everything you need. What was particularly stress-free was that the places were reserved for the respective rooms. The only point of criticism is the bathroom. It's far too small and there's hardly any storage space. This was also loose and crooked.

We ate in the restaurant and what can I say, it was terrific. The food and their own beers are worth the trip. As you can probably tell, we were very excited. We ate the schnitzel with asparagus and the burger with soft cheese in a beer batter patty. For dessert there was vanilla ice cream with our own pumpkin seed oil and pumpkin seeds. The staff was also very friendly and accommodating. If we come to Tangermünde again, we will settle here.

The reception ladies were there extra long so that we all got our keys. The chef was "mega" and the entire staff was extremely friendly and helpful. High praise.

Shortly after half past eight we wanted to eat something after our day's hike. The waitress asked us if we just wanted to drink something or eat something too, pointed to a table and gave us the menus. We then sat at this table and waited 20 minutes until Madame announced to us that the kitchen was already closed, but that we could still have a drink... If we had been told that right away, it would certainly have been easier to find a restaurant with an open kitchen to find. The action is completely unnecessary! But we got something to eat at the Pizzeria Bella Vita...just a tip :-)

I am very disappointed with the restaurant. Huge prices for little in return. Typical tourist trap. This is nothing for us locals.

Tangermünde is worth seeing. The hotel (restaurant) is clean, the food is good, but there is little choice, and the price structure is rather high. We stayed in the guest house, which we didn't like in terms of view and cleaning service. The rooms were OK.

We stayed 3 days and were very satisfied. The restaurant is first class and the beers from the in-house brewery are highly recommended. The staff are really committed, helpful and very friendly. Clean hotel rooms are a given here. We would definitely come back if we visit Tangermünde again.

Wir durften das Jahr gleich mit einem highlight beginnen - unser Wochenende in Schulzens Hotel & Brauerei. Eine absolute Empfehlung um für einen Moment mal dem Alltag zu entfliehen und die Seele baumeln zu lassen und sich dabei von den kulinarischen Genüssen und da möchte ich ganz besonders das selbstgebraute Bier hervorheben- verwöhnen zu lassen. Das ganze Wohlfühlpaket wurde durch einen immer freundlichen und zuvorkommenden Serive abgerundet. Besonderen Dank an Deniz und Vicky von der Bar! Wir wünschen dem gesamten Team von Schulzens Hotel & Brauerei ein tolles Jahr und ein immer ausgebuchtes *Haus* und sagen DANKE für das wundervolle Wochenende.

Schönes Brauhaus Hotel mit Restaurant...Zimmer sehr gemütlich eingerichtet. Das Restaurant passt zum Ambiente...nicht kitschig oder überaltet. Personal sehr freundlich...Essen rustikal gut! Abzug...Sessel sind bepfleckt...im Flur hängen Kabel lose rum...mir persönlich war das Bett viel zu weich!!!
