hi, not a nice bartender, I spoke to him and he said to me, I don't understand, that's disgusting

overpriced, bouncers not very friendly, karaoke on mondays ok but better (and cheaper) ones in the city (eg shamrock), once took away my full drink when i was in the bathroom and didn’t get it back/ refund, sometimes very crowded, bonus is it’s open late every night but would recommend the place across the road more for a budget (but also cash only)

No reservation possible, I was told on the phone that it was empty. I make the 30 minute walk to the city center, everything is full. Evaluation is easy

Very, very nice in there. Great atmosphere and a lot on offer. Easy to find from Marienplatz and you are in good hands all night long

Good bar for sports, we even got to see NHL games when we asked.

Karaoke night is where it's at. (Monday night)

I went here for drinks only and ended up asking for breakfast recommendations. The barman was very informative and helpful! The drinks were cold and fresh and the atmosphere was perfect. I highly recommend this place for a good evening is you want a night out that’s NOT a night club

What's going on in the Scholars Lounge? The burgers are just average. Some employees appear unmotivated and do not proactively take care of customers. The furnishings (e.g. bar stools, menu and men's toilet door) are worn out. That's probably why there haven't been any awards for a while. Really a shame. Because it actually has a very rustic and cozy atmosphere and a good whiskey selection.

Nice bar, but unreasonable staff. Instead of asking politely if anyone else would like to order something, the bill was slapped down without a word. I know good or civilized staff is difficult to come by these days but no one forces you to work there. If you are so unhappy with your life, I would advise you to reorient your career. 🧚🏼 Greetings go out

Nice pub. Good vibes. Fun karaoke. Bartender Dax was a highlight, actually Irish. Gave us "free shots" in the form of tabasco water. :D Gave us actual shots on the house afterwards. 10/10 craic.

We loved almost everything about this bar. Great nachos, chicken wings, beer and staff. Our only gripe was being charged €5.5 for a small Schweppes soda water making it dearer than a Guinness pro rata. In many pubs soda water is free but we appreciate some pubs will charge, but that was a rip off. We would come again but would never order a soda water and would suggest you don't either!

Very nice pub in the middle of the city but not overcrowded (Tuesday, early evening). Very relaxed atmosphere. I'd love to come back 🤗 I can't rate the food because I only had a cider.

The old man was super violent with me and security guards didn’t make anything bc it was their friend. Girls. Not recommended this place if you wanna feel safe. Here man will herast you and nobody will protect you !

Scholars Lounge has a nice Irish pub interior, with warm lighting and traditional décor that makes it feel authentic. The atmosphere is lively, and they have a solid selection of Irish drinks, including a well-poured Guinness. However, the experience didn’t live up to the expectations. The pub was too crowded, making it uncomfortable if you prefer a more relaxed setting. To make things worse, if you end up sitting near the kitchen area, there’s a strong smell of oil, which is quite unpleasant. Drink prices are also on the expensive side— six for a Helles and seven for a Guinness, which is pricier than many other pubs in Munich. Overall, if you enjoy a busy pub vibe with a good drink selection, you might like it here. But if you prefer a more laid-back experience without the crowds and high prices, there are better Irish pubs in the city.

Incredibly bad store - thrown out despite a high bill! Yesterday the five of us went to the pub, ate and drank several rounds. In total we spent over €200 and also tipped generously. But instead of treating us like paying guests, we were simply thrown out after three hours just because we hadn't ordered anything for half an hour - without warning, without explanation, simply outrageous! The service was substandard anyway - unfriendly, annoyed and completely disinterested. It was made to feel like we weren't welcome. Glasses were carelessly slammed onto the table, orders took forever, and you won't find a smile here. An absolutely disappointing experience - if you value good service, hospitality and respect, you should definitely avoid this shop!

Unappealing bouncers to the 10th. It's unbelievable how they behave and pointlessly don't let a lot of people in after they've had one beer. Absolutely incomprehensible and gives a very bad impression of the place.

If you need "Me" time go there around 4+pm. Nice service,nice talk, beautiful Irish beer! Don't order Heineken please 🤣

Worst place I ever been to see a football match. I took a drink and finished it before the beginning if a match and they turned off the tv because I didn't order anything more in a very not polite way. Worst service I ever received

Travelling around Munich and came across this lovely Irish pub had to stop in for a Guinness and so glad we did young barman was very friendly and welcoming highly recommended stoping by!

Unexpected surprise to find a proper Irish pub in the heart of Munich. The pub is downstairs from street level and a cozy respite from the hustle of Marienplatz. Surrounded by books with some dated over 100 years old.

Beer is terrible here, no foam, pour everything over, would never go here. It is a ball tent!

Nice pub, unfortunately the music is a bit loud, which makes conversation difficult at times. The waitresses are very friendly but the advice on the whiskey could be better. The food was good! Big pro: the long opening hours!

It was a mess of an experience - overcrowded and poorly organized. We sat at the bar and waited for a good 10 minutes without any attention from any waiter or bartender despite our best effort. Since no one would serve us and the basement smelled like grease and sweat, we decided to leave. Perhaps it's better on a less busy day, but our experience was poor.

After we literally ordered Augstiner, Guinness was brought to us. Although it wasn't our fault, they also made us pay the 4 Guinness. Absolutely cheeky and actually illegal...

Decent bar with a lot of options to watch different sports etc. I went in to watch the Celtic game though and missed the first 30 minutes because the barman couldn't work out the remote. One small gripe...they only serve alkoholfreies beer in 0.3 bottles but still charge the 0.5 prices (according to their menu). Still, a good spot for tourists.

Beer was warm and flat. Wouldn’t change it. Worst beer we’ve had since we’ve been here. Couldn’t finish it and left to go to elsewhere. Very poor. Expensive too.

Delicious drinks and a really very authentic atmosphere. The basement is winding and well divided. If you would like a little more space to chat with friends, you can do so in the rooms on the right. The staff is friendly and attentive!

When the cities is overrun by American Football fans, you can take refuge in the best Irish pub of the city. We definitely had a blast there.

As someone who frequents Irish pubs when traveling, I have to say this one was absolutely top notch. It had a good ambiance, good beer choices, good prices and good service. I checked out the other Irish pubs in Munich but this one was definitely the best!

Couldn't get anything, only one guy responsible for around half of the guests, which were surely close to 100 people.

The music is good, the drinks are unfortunately way too expensive...

My self and a few colleagues were refused entry on the basis of the premises being full, we then witnessed two people walk in ahead of us. The person on the door refused to elaborate and said the premises was full..

It is nice and small place located near the Munich center. Although there is food available for order, I only tried Guinness and it's good. Staff is helpful. The place can get crowded at times. There is a small sitting place outside in front of the pub.

Loved this bar on our trip to Munich! Monday night karaoke was a blast. The vibe is great, service is good, the drinks were good. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area!

Prices are relatively expensive, staff sometimes seem overwhelmed. Unfortunately the bouncer was very unfriendly.

Vee was my bartender. And she was amazing. Best Guinness in the city.

We went to eat at this restaurant in Munich because the free tour guide recommended it to us. He told us that it was typical Bavarian food of good quality, good flavor and good price, and we liked it a lot. Indeed we were able to eat the typical dishes such as snitzel, which is a very typical breaded meat from the area and this pasta made with potatoes and cheese and onion which is spectacular, highly recommended if you like cheese. The decoration is typical of the area.

Insider tip: Down the stairs and directly to the right into the library! There you will find lots of little niches and corners where you can spend a great evening with friends! If you're looking for more excitement, you'll find what you're looking for at the large bar! Top service, great music and a great atmosphere are guaranteed!

The guard of the door was so rude with us😡I arrived with 2 other friends and first he told us the party was closing. But a bunch of people came out to smoke and then he said it was a private party. We smoked a cigarette at the door and we started talking with some people, then he came aggressively saying why are we talking with them and that we are not gonna get in with anyone no matter what we try. Later he kicked us out from the street… I never received that treat in my life for being Spanish….Yes because once he heard us talking in our language he started treating us with disrespect

You feel like you're in a pub in Ireland. Cool atmosphere, authentic ambience. You get to talk to other guests, which creates a very good atmosphere. We really liked it.
