Kennedy's Bar and Restaurant in München

As always, it's great in the water and highly recommended. With Irish charm and humor, it's a worthwhile experience. They have my recommendation 😄

Worst place un munich !! I traval a lot for work and for vacation. We had dinner, 10 persons abou 230eur. The guy did not allow to enyer without any reason. I completely disappointed the line management.

we went for dinner. an hour queue to get in and despite the 300 euros spent for dinner, they didn't let us in. the guys at the entrance are incredibly rude and think they own the world, I don't know for what reason. an absolutely overrated place, to be avoided.

We came for karaoke and it was really GREAT! Friendly and efficient service! Young atmosphere.... it brought back memories. And Karaoke lifts the mood! After singing "Aux Champs Élysées", I would have appreciated a security staff to filter out the groupies 😉 but we can't predict that a star will perform...

On March 16th Ate a cottage pie for St. Patrick’s Day weekend. Very good! Always busy at Kennedy's, beer good, food very good, not cheap, people sometimes friendly, sometimes not. Live Musk was good. Addendum: Ate the roast, lamb shank with spring onion mashed potatoes on St. Patrick's Day and watched the parade on TV. The lamb shank was buttery tender and excellent.

We were there on Saturday evening and the bouncers/security and service were super friendly! There was also a great atmosphere, the food was good, everything was relaxed and we weren't excluded - even though we're already 60 years old.

For karaoke on Wednesday it was fantastic when Thursday was a holiday. Exuberant atmosphere and good songs. Prices for the drinks are okay and I can't say anything about the food

Food is as ok.. table server was very rude and just reminded us that we hadn’t tipped enough. We were told to keep our voices down even though we were watching the sport on the TV..

This is a nice spot for anyone looking for great entertainment. They regularly feature live music and show various sports events, making it perfect for fans and music lovers. If it gets too loud in the main hall, there's a cozy little lounge inside for a more relaxed atmosphere. But I would recommend making a reservation in advance. The outdoor terrace is spacious. Menu is with a wide selection of food and drinks, there's something for everyone. Highly recommended for a fun night out!

Abhorrent door staff. Rude, egotistical and arrogant. Allowing groups to que up for 30 mins only to turn them away at the door because they think it's funny. Won't allow a group of 6 Irish men into an Irish bar because its apparently over crowding, but will allow 6 women in. Ladies - stay clear. You're nothing but meat to these predators. This bar has gone massively down hill.

Packed in here for football! Come early, cash only! Didn't eat the food but looked like solid bar food. Expect irish bar menu. Had Augustiner just under £5 half liter.

Didnt allow us to go in because someone in the group was 17, supposedly you can drink wine and beer starting from 16.

Rude bouncer. Was rejected entrance after they checked our IDs just because ‘these are the rules’. We had a reservation and everything.

It's a unique Bar, and most interesting is the Karaoke on Saturday's and Sunday's night with special DJ.

We sat outside in the beer garden and wanted to use the toilet after a while. To do this you have to go past the security staff to go to the basement in the karaoke bar to use the toilet. Unfortunately, our waiter was unable to recognize us and tell the security staff that he should let us through even though we had been sitting at the table for at least an hour and had ordered drinks and food several times. Only after a five-minute discussion were we allowed past.

The service at Kennedy’s Restaurant was great – no complaints, the food and service were really good. But what completely ruined the whole evening for me was the behavior of the bouncers. After the band's second break, I went out to smoke - like I had twice before - and suddenly I wasn't allowed in anymore. Even though I had been in the restaurant for over three hours beforehand, they wouldn't let me in because I didn't have a stamp. A stamp that, by the way, no one had received until then. The bouncers were extremely rude, disrespectful and completely unsuitable for the job. No understanding, no politeness - just an attitude of power that is completely out of place. This is not how you treat guests who want to spend their money and time there. It's sad when an otherwise good evening is ruined by incompetent staff at the entrance. I am deeply disappointed and will definitely not be coming back. Anyone who has to feel like an intruder upon entering, even though they are a paying guest, should seriously consider whether this place is worth a visit. My advice: stay away - or at least ask beforehand whether you can go in and out without being harassed by a self-proclaimed door god.

First time in my life I've been excluded from a club. I was with three friends from Bologna, I would like to underline dressed well and soberly, and we thought we could enter this pub given the excellent reviews. We had noticed that in many discos Italians were treated badly and left out due to discrimination, which is why we looked for a place with excellent reviews from Italians. But in line two bouncers without us having created confusion or anything else made us understand in a very rude way that we "would never have entered that place". Four German guys had entered before us and the same thing happened for 6 German guys immediately after us in line (so it wasn't a problem of space but of nationality). Incredible how this discrimination can exist, if you want advice don't speak Italian while queuing to enter, only English and maybe you'll be lucky.

I visited on a Friday evening and there was a live performance. It's a place where you can have loud conversations accompanied by the classic beer hall hum. Quite crowded, warm and nice atmosphere.

I think it's fantastic that a bar like this still exists. It stands out clearly from the mainstream with its furnishings and ambience. Live music and karaoke, there are no boring evenings here - keep it up and see you next time.

Excellent place. I have been there 3 times so far. Firstly you can book a table online smoothly. (no need to call / email) Every single thing I have ordered has been tasty. I have ordered fish and chips, nachos, onion rings here. They have a very good pint of Guinness and Murphys. Service is excellent. The staff is fluent in German and English.

Kennedy’s – A pub like it should be! Nae cocktail bar vibes, just a proper pub – Guinness tastes like it should, whisky selection’s solid (even if the drams are just 2cl – seriously, that’s barely enough to get started!), and the staff? Sound as hell – putting up with folk ordering Hugo Spritz and still managing a smile, that’s a talent. Karaoke? Aye, the host is brilliant, even if the song choices are… questionable at best. Expect a mix of French chansons, chart hits, and German pop – but nae single proper pub song in sight! The day somebody belts out Drunken Sailor or The Wild Rover, we’ll be the first to buy them a pint. Until then, it’s a gamble between cringe and accidental brilliance. Live sports? Aye, and if you’re already showing Scottish football & rugby, gie us a Belhaven or Tennents! That’d be a real game changer. Food’s good, but bring back Irish stew! Some o’ us dinnae want a burger every time, ken? Whisky with cola gets served – sadly, because there’s aye one eejit who orders it. But at least the real stuff’s there for those who ken better. Kennedy’s is the kinda pub ye pop in for a quiet pint an’ somehow end up in the wildest, weirdest but best blether – usually at the smokin’ area. One time, a bunch o’ steamin’ Spaniards gave me a full-on lesson in makin’ the perfect burrito (which, let’s be honest, isnae even Spanish, but who’s arguin’ wi’ drunk folk?). If ye ever find yersel in the women’s bogs, steer clear o’ the first cubicle – it’s got a tilt. We christened it The Drunken Pooper years ago, an’ by the state o’ some folk on a Saturday, the name’s still well deserved. Been comin’ here for over 10 years, and aye, we moan aboot the menu changes, but we’re still here. That says somethin’, eh? A proper pub, even if it’s miles away from where it should be. But gie me a dram, a pint, an’ folk who ken how tae tell a story – an’ for a while, I can almost pretend I’m hame. Slàinte! Bonus rule: If a glass just shatters oot o’ nowhere – nae touch, nae reason, just pure pub magic – that’s the sign: Time tae go! Dinnae ask why, we’ve tested this plenty, an’ it’s never been wrang. Some say it’s the heat, some say it’s fate – we just ken when the universe tells ye tae git, ye best listen.

There were 6 of us on a Friday evening and we queued for 45 minutes to get into Kenndy's. When we got to the entrance we were just told that it wasn't possible for 6 people and that we should leave. You could write this out in a way that is easy to read so that people don't have to queue unnecessarily.

Probably the most outstanding pub in Munich! Absolutely stunning interior, great food and a lot of beers on draught (unlike the Bavarian system of one brewery only!)! There’s also a beautiful quiet lounge if you don’t like music and sports on TV!

Unfriendly staff, good location but nothing to add to the experience. Quote from the doorman: "You need more pussies, otherwise you won't get in because there are too many cocks." A complete no-go in a popular bar.

A great pub with food and awesome service! However I give two stars as we were at the karaoke night and the DJ seem to be racist when my Thai boyfriend approached to give him the song. He looked down on him and didn’t bother getting the paper with the song. He literally ruined our night and we left immediately… racist reality check!

Nicely decorated pub, service very good. We were there for the fish & chips, it was very good. Particularly noteworthy is the bottle of malt vinegar provided, which would be available again.

The atmosphere is great. However, it is always very, very crowded, so it takes a while for drinks and food to arrive. The food is good but a bit expensive.

i ordered the fries and didn’t realize they were a massive portion for $9. there’s a much smaller side available but you need to tell the waitress. the fries were alright. the place was packed by 9pm and had some really good live music playing 🎶 i would definitely return for the vibes but the food is just your standard bar food

As one of the few locations in Munich, Kennedys invites you to watch football - like yesterday's Champions League evening at FC Bayern. The website says “No ticket but you still want the stadium atmosphere and cheer with friends?” spoken. However, that had nothing to do with the stadium atmosphere. The karaoke evening actually started at the same time, just in time for kick-off at 9 p.m.! You can't beat it for audacity. The football game was shown without sound! 90% football fans who tuned in at Kennedys hours before, consumed and are looking forward to the football evening. A pub that wants to do both in one evening. Too bad!

Located downstairs in the basement, when it's full it's relatively loud. There is live music, free of charge. Also karaoke and live sports on several TVs. Guinness now costs over 6 euros.

Here it was full on a Thursday with karaoke. Didn't get the Irish pub feel, but they had all kinds of beer. It was such a good atmosphere here.

Kennedy’s Pub is without a doubt one of the best places in Munich to experience an authentic pub visit. We enjoy coming here every year. The Irish atmosphere, the large selection of freshly tapped beers and the excellent dishes - especially the Irish breakfast and the club sandwich - make every visit a pleasure. The staff are friendly and attentive, even when the pub is busy.

I liked it, unfortunately the men's toilets were full of vomit. Food, drink and service were great. Gladly again

I've been at the Kennedy's several times and I thought it's time to write a review: + always a great atmosphere with good live music. Also the karaoke nights are very fun and entertaining. + lots of international guests. Everyone is friendly and respectful. + staff is very kind, attentive and fast. + food and drinks are delicious (especially the homemade Oreo cheesecake 😍). There's also good sharing options, e.g. the Fingerfood Mexican Basket. And portions are quite big (see picture: cheddar cheese & coleslaw sandwich with fries). It's a great bar, full of people, most international and tourists. The karaoke nights are really another world, a lot of fun and amazing singers. The price is fair. The staff are OK, despite the place really can gets beyond overcrowded.
