The best pub in all of Munich. Everything is perfect here, from the service and exceptional food to the drinks menu – they have everything you could possibly want.

We were a group of 10 and got a corner table near the stage and bar. The crowd was mixed, open, and friendly. The service was incredibly friendly and patient. The live music was amazing, but the regular music was also a great mix with something for everyone. The party ended at 2:00 AM. We highly recommend Kennedys.

It's a classic/traditional place to go for a beer and hang out. The waiters were polite and fast. They started showing a match in the evening, but we wanted to leave because it got crowded. Naturally, the noise level increases when it gets crowded. Prices were average. It's a nice place.

Everything here is just perfect. Service, food, and atmosphere are superb. The entertainment, including karaoke, guarantees lots of fun. Despite having a reservation, we were given a table by the friendly waiter. We'll definitely be back.

Fantastic bar! We came back at least four different times in our trip in Munich. Great live music or fun karaoke. Fresh Irish beers like Kilkenny or Guinness. Also great service.

Found this little gem by chance wandering around Munich City, meet some wonderful people from Ireland and had a ball. The staff and food was outstanding 👌

We had a table reserved today. The spare ribs were very good, as was the Guinness we drank. Then it must have been a shift change; the waiter took payment and a waitress took over. No problem, we had two more Guinnesses. To finish, we wanted an Irish Coffee. But it was an insult to all of Ireland. A bit of coffee in a glass with a dollop of whipped cream. I could have tolerated that, but not a hint of whiskey. It was pure milk coffee. When I complained, the waitress just snidely replied, "That's how we always make it." Not a hint of apology, or even a suggestion that she'd bring me a new one with whiskey. I've always enjoyed going to this pub, but today's experience... I don't know...

We went on a tour the previous day and the tour guide suggested Kennedy's as a place to have dinner. What an experience this was! Mum and I both had the double smash burger. The sauce it came with was pure magic, just the right amount of spice! I had a non alcoholic Guiness and my mum had a Glühwein. Would reccomend to anyone!

Very nice Irish Bar with live music, burgers and steaks. A lot of not expensive drinks (especially beer), a lot of people (booking in advance is a good idea if you want a place where to sit) and mostly VERY good vibes. Empfehlt!

Very centrally located. We had made a reservation because it got very crowded quite quickly, even on Thursday. The fries were very good; they offered ketchup, mayo, HP sauce, and Tabasco at the table. We also had Strongbow and Snake Eye.

You get threatened, complain about it, and then get thrown out because the waiters believe the "regular customer" who, of course, denies his claims. Completely pathetic people. I would advise everyone to stay away from this place.

A really cool Irish pub near Sendlinger Tor. You can sit outside when the weather is nice. If the weather is bad, it's also very nice inside in the basement, and there's plenty of space.

This place is an absolute gem! The atmosphere is vibrant and inviting, making it a fantastic spot to unwind and enjoy what they offer. It gets pretty busy, so if you want to snag a good spot, be sure to arrive early!

The bar is centrally located and therefore very easy to get to. The decor is very cozy and authentic. And the staff is very quick, friendly, and welcoming! The atmosphere is amazing; you have to experience it for yourself! 😁 We'll definitely be back! ;-) Best regards

Why do the bartenders ask you multiple times if you want to order more despite me having ordered a few drinks already and just trying to enjoy the drink and my time there? Ruined my "relaxed" experience a bit

The atmosphere in the pub was great. Unfortunately, the band was very loud. My ears hurt. The food portions were huge. You should definitely reserve a table.

Great Barr with really good food and great atmosphere. Keith the server was brilliant and looked after us every day we were in. Full of knowledge and was never far away when our group wanted a drink or food. We had a night he handed over to a bar maid for us once he left and she was brilliant aswell. Unfortunately I have forgotten her name. Would definitely recommend coming here.

The atmosphere was great but service was awful. The service at the bar are rude to American tourists. An older man, told one of us that was not drinking alcohol that had to leave because thats not for free entertainment. So, because of his rudeness all of the rest 8 of us left because we all were together. We were able to only have 1 drink....when we could of have left hundreds of dollars because the atmosphere was great. People like this should not work around tourist. Another employee came out to apologize but was too late, the damage has been done and downed our mood.

Love this place (and I normally avoid Irish bars when abroad). Feels very German at night and great for post Oktoberfest indulgence (buzzes). Also does an awesome Irish breakfast for when you’re tired of German breakfasts….

My dears, today I experienced what many girls describe... We are becoming victims of you, you guy with the brown sweater and French cap... I was standing to the left of the bar and reading the menu... the person described had his arm around my neck, asking what I wanted to drink... gin, vodka, whiskey, etc. I ducked away, behind the bar... kitchen, etc. I returned to my table, a group of men, including him, right next to me, laughing and gossiping, and now the service came: What we wanted to order: HE left!!! And here for me and all of you who experienced this!!! Insane!!! Security took me seriously, acted, and threw me out, and then afterwards came to me, reflected, and it became clear that I wasn't the problem, which I know, but here they took action and asked questions, and not just me and the cameras... THANK YOU!!

The doorman was on a weird power trip wouldn’t let us in reasoning was “because I said so” no explanation then when we calmly chatted to him he offered we give him a bribe to get in Highly unethical would not recommend unless you want to be belittled by a power hungry bouncer on the door

It's a cool Irsih bar for getting together with friends, great to watch sports, karaoke or just have a pint. Service can be a little slow as it gets packed and it's hot and stuffy so drink up!

We are Asian decent, and we weren’t allowed in. (1200 midnight) The two bouncer threaten us and when asked why, he said because I am the boss and can do what I like. Continued to be racist and tried to threaten me (hit me) without reason

Went this place to watch a football game. There was live music as well which was fantastic. Amazing atmosphere.

Celebrated my birthday yesterday. Ordered a song at karaoke - on a slip, my slip was 3rd in line, but we waited for more than an hour, because the karaoke manager was playing songs for other people outside the line, and several times for the same person. The waitress spilled beer on us and didn't even apologize! The service is the bottom. Unfortunately! Although the atmosphere is not bad.

We waited for over an hour just for a couple of drinks. We attempted to talk to the waiters and kept on making excuses that "that wasn't their table". Completely unacceptable.

Very unfriendly staff at the entrance. We waited in line for two hours and were treated very disrespectfully and rudely by the security staff. Very disappointing, and we would have gladly left our money at this bar. It's truly a shame and very disrespectful.

Terribly rude, arrogant, and impertinent! I never write negative reviews, but we were treated with so little respect here that I wonder why the waiter let me work there, and I hope others can avoid this experience. We were sitting outside in a small group and were yelled at and treated with enormous disrespect. We are all native German speakers. When one of us asked what the problem was, it was repeated in English and we were told they didn't want us and were taking up too much space, even though there was still plenty of room. I can imagine they like to rip off tourists, and that one of the waiters has a xenophobic attitude for some reason. Anyway, we were told to go to our hotel and take our things (it was outside, and no one was really blocking the way). "You're taking up the space of 15 people!" Someone with such misanthropy and impatient, heartless arrogance shouldn't be working in service. Thank you!

A fantastic place to play a live gig. All employees are friendly and very helpful and happy to see you. Food is top notch, especially the Jameson Whiskey Burger! Highly recommended.

I went to this bar a week ago, on Monday. the atmosphere was so cool, i definitely had a great time here. Sadly, i lost my wallet and just realized when i arrived to my hotel bc my room card was there too :( i back in that moment to the bar, it was just closed but the lights inside were on, so i know the bell of the staff entrance and the main door, even tried to call to the phone number… nobody answered. i couldn’t go the next day as my flight left in the morning (i’m not living in Munich), so i sent a DM to their instagram saying what happened, giving details of how it is, and the urgent to recover my wallet, and the only answer they gave me was to contact them by their website… 🙄 i did it as well. they never answered. as i said, the atmosphere is cool and the service from barmen was friendly, but i consider this kind of situations part of the service. i’m a traveler and sadly i got a bad impression of the service, out of bar. 😕

We had a fantastic girls' night! We were served by Abigail, and she was fantastic. That girl needs a raise ASAP!!!!!

We went there on the advice of a friend because we had to try the Nachos. The first time we couldn't find a table, neither inside (football match) nor outside (Saturday night). But the second time we found a table outside, although they took a while to come to take orders (there were a lot of people) they brought the food incredibly fast, everything was delicious, very very generous quantities, and the waiter and the prices were correct.

A pub just the way we like them, right in the heart of Munich, ideal for Six Nations days, even if finding a seat on that day is as difficult as staying sober on a Starkbierfest night. A lively atmosphere, smelling of hops as much as sweat.

The food is excellent – hearty portions, delicious flavours, and great value for money. Drinks are plentiful with a wide selection of beers, cocktails, and whiskies to choose from. The staff are friendly, attentive, and create a great vibe throughout. Add in the central location and regular live music, and it’s easy to see why Kennedy’s is a favourite. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Munich!

We were there with a large group (13 people). The service was very friendly and personable, the food was top-notch, both vegetarian and omnivorous. The noise level was too loud for me personally, making conversation impossible. The men's restroom was a disaster over the course of the evening, which isn't really the owner's fault.

Came across this pub by accident and what a great place ,seating outside and massive area downstairs with great Irish decor. Lady from New Zealand was our server and she was lovely We ordered a basket of wings and onion rings and it was enough for both of us massive portions prices were good food was lovely. A funny experience but very crowded

I was there with friends on a Thursday evening. Friday was a bank holiday, so we made a reservation just in case! . : F O O M : . Fish and chips - the fries were delicious! But what was wrong with the fish? Everything looked great, but unfortunately, both on my plate and on other people's plates, the coating on the fish was more like rubber, which surprised us all. The last time I was there, which was also two or three years ago, everything was still fresh and crispy. They've changed something, and it wasn't for the better! Unfortunately, the food was rather disappointing. As for the drinks, everything was completely satisfactory! . : S E R V I C E : . The service was okay. Nothing outstanding. We ordered and, as is normal, got the drinks first and then the food. What was unfortunately a bit of a negative, even though it wasn't busy yet, was the fact that the waitress hadn't managed to bring an extra glass for the fake water. She kept coming back to the table, noticed it herself, ran away, and then came back without a glass. . : A M B I E N T : . This time we sat outside, and there you have to deal with the noise of police cars and ambulances. However, it was nice that there was a live band that actually played really well in the evening! . : B O U T I O N : . I probably won't go back because of the food! But I actually like the atmosphere, even down in the vaults! So, yes, drinking, no eating!

I visited your bar/restaurant for the first time on August 14, 2025. I've lived in Munich for 40 years, and I was surprised that you existed, by your selection, especially whiskey, and the friendly Scottish service. And such a lovely little beer garden under the giant American plane trees, which provide wonderful shade in this hot summer. Of course, I also enjoyed your Guinness. I was most surprised by the extensive whiskey list. I started with a Jameson, then a Bushmills 10Y, so it was a step up. Your Scottish waiter then recommended the Redabreast 12Y; even better, with a slightly oily texture. He then pointed out The Balvenie 12Y. I'll try that next time. It was a lovely break with you. I should also mention: It's a good thing I was in the bathroom, otherwise I wouldn't have seen your impressive cellar bar/restaurant.

Great place to drink different types of beer! Had the opportunity to drink there with an actual Irish friend!

I was recently at Kennedys and was looking forward to a relaxed snack – but what I got was a price slap like no other. 6 small chili cheese nuggets for a whopping €10.90? That's not culinary refinement, that's simply a rip-off. The nuggets themselves tasted okay, but tiny – more like finger food for a sore tooth than a serious snack. For that price, I would have at least expected them to be homemade or particularly sophisticated. Instead, you get standard fare that you can get at any snack bar for a fraction of the price. I understand that prices in the city center are higher, but this is simply outrageously excessive. Conclusion: If you're watching your money and don't like feeling like you're being ripped off, you should skip the chili cheese nuggets at Kennedys.
