Kennedy’s Pub is without a doubt one of the best places in Munich to experience an authentic pub visit. We enjoy coming here every year. The Irish atmosphere, the large selection of freshly tapped beers and the excellent dishes - especially the Irish breakfast and the club sandwich - make every visit a pleasure. The staff are friendly and attentive, even when the pub is busy.

I liked it, unfortunately the men's toilets were full of vomit. Food, drink and service were great. Gladly again

I've been at the Kennedy's several times and I thought it's time to write a review: + always a great atmosphere with good live music. Also the karaoke nights are very fun and entertaining. + lots of international guests. Everyone is friendly and respectful. + staff is very kind, attentive and fast. + food and drinks are delicious (especially the homemade Oreo cheesecake 😍). There's also good sharing options, e.g. the Fingerfood Mexican Basket. And portions are quite big (see picture: cheddar cheese & coleslaw sandwich with fries). It's a great bar, full of people, most international and tourists. The karaoke nights are really another world, a lot of fun and amazing singers. The price is fair. The staff are OK, despite the place really can gets beyond overcrowded.

During rush hours it's impossible to order but in general I like the vibe here

Were there on Saturday for the karaoke evening. Unfortunately there were only a few people there because somehow 5 of the DJ's friends took turns. That was really stupid but it's probably standard there. Food was super tasty. There was no cleanliness at all when it came to the table, floor and toilets. It's so tight anyway, so it would have been great if the waitress had cleared the plates away at some point.

We go to this place almost every Saturday for Karaoke now and from food, to prices, to service, to atmosphere, everything is top of the notch here. You'll rarely find yourself spending a better night than at Kennedy's

Went in for a few beers and football great bar. Food was good fantastic staff.

We enjoyed the decor and wonderful service during the afternoon, so we didn't get to try the food. The Kilkenny was delicious and prices were in line with the surrounding area. We wanted to go back, but were headed on our journey.

The food is always tasty although it has gotten much more expensive (but what hasn't...). Service is always friendly and the atmosphere depends on the time you're there vs your expectations. A nice place overall.

Was there today at 5 p.m. Apart from the fact that there was no chance of getting a seat, it was so loud that you needed hearing protection. I can't imagine what it's like when someone else sings. We went backwards out again. If you want to eat and chat, this is the wrong place. And with all due respect, things are different in an Irish pub than there.

Always nice but always very crowded. This time we had to wait outside and queue to get in. Were there for karaoke. There are really good singers there and the atmosphere is great.

Extremely crowded, even during the week. You should definitely make a reservation here so as not to be unhappy. Unfortunately we had a table with a stool, which is quite uncomfortable in the long run. However, the food was good, the portions were huge, and unfortunately some of it even had to be returned. Since it was so full, it was sometimes difficult to even get served. Unfortunately, later in the evening the music was too loud and it was impossible to have a conversation.

I thought it was very nice at Kennedy, but at times I found there were too many people behind me. But I also had the space on the very outside, where the bar is. Security was nice, even though I didn't want to have my bag looked at. Our great waiter (bald and with a long beard) was always on his toes, especially in this area where there is the most going on. Because there are also guests waiting for a table. So if you want it to be loud and fun, this is the right place for you.

I was there on Monday evening and it was a lot of fun. Thanks to the well-spaced screens, everyone could sing along and the atmosphere was great. In terms of price it's also quite affordable. I paid €7.90 for a non-alcoholic cocktail, a good price compared to other bars. It was absolutely fun, always happy! ❤️

Try as we might we could not get booked in here. If you want a table you have to book online, well in advance. We even dropped in to make a booking but again we're told it must be done online. Pity too as the menu looked good. Maybe the next time we come back to Munich. The toilets were clean and tidy.

Nice, spacious pub in the city of Munich. Good service and a typical menu of burgers and sandwiches. There was even a good selection of single malt whiskey.

If you need a place to order in English and watch sports then this is your place.

The food there is always very tasty. While there was always service at the tables next to us, there was rarely anyone there at our place. Basically I wanted to see both rugby games - this was also stated in the reservation, but in addition to rugby there was also football and karaoke, it was a bit chaotic but overall a really nice evening.

insanely fun place to be if theres karaoke night. its the mainstream irish pub experience, everything youd expect. food is plentyfull and prices are a bit steep but not unusual for munich city center.

Brilliant atmosphere with live music, sport streaming (went to watch F1 and wasn’t disappointed) and a lively crowd. Prices are a little on the expensive side but prompt service and comfortable surroundings.

Yesterday I had a very bad experience in this Bar, I arrived 2 hours early to take a place or table for my friends, we wanted to watch the classic Spanish game, with 20 minutes left to start the game, the bartender tells me that they are not going to place it without any Valid explanation, just not. I'm short of respite, I wasted the 2 hours we were waiting for this.

Beware of rip-offs, drinks that were never consumed are charged here! After a complaint, one of the overcharged beers was identified as incorrectly narrow-minded, but there was no doubt about the second one, great. First try with two overcharged drinks to see if the guest notices, if they then complain it's just one, what's the point? So be careful with this store🤮

I am always satisfied when I visit this Irish Pub. The staff is always friendly and attentive, which always contributes to a pleasant atmosphere. Having been there regularly, I can say that the quality and service are consistently high. The food is always delicious and you can feel that the cooking here is done with passion. The ambience is exactly what you would want for an Irish pub – cozy and inviting. For me, the Irish Pub is definitely a place I like to come back to again and again!

The staff was friendly and the Devil's Burger was spicy and delicious. I went there for the Champions League and thanks to you, I enjoyed recommending him.

Excellent bar staff. Each time we visited there was live music which is always a bonus.

Rude arrogant barstaff. Myself and 3 friends, all in our 60s were told to vacate a table that was empty because there were beer mats placed on top of empty glasses, and we should know the rules about this - apparentlyit meant thatthe table was not free.. Really! That's what they said - it was up to us to know that this was a local unspoken rule. In perhaps the most touristed part of Munich, in an IRISH Bar

Rude bar staff. 4 of us went in, ordered a drink at the bar, saw an empty table (empty glasses, no coats etc), sat down. After a few minutes we were asked to vacate our table because, apparently, a beer mat placed on top of an empty glass means the table is still occupied. This is an Irish pub in the centre of Munich - full of tourists - I've never seen this "rule" before. However we were told that as we were in Germany we should know the rules and that the table was taken (I think the previous occupants had gone out for a smoke or something). Both lounge girl AND bar man/ager asked us not too politely to vacate and were quite annoyed that we were not aware of this rule/custom. We offered to go, only then to be told that it was not necessary, and that the previous occupants had secured another table!?? Draw your own conclusions but we felt that we were being scolded for not knowing the "rules". I must add that we are a group in our 50"s.

Atmosphere is always good and live music almost every night. It is hard to find place to sit.

Absolute juice shop. I only give one star because I can't give one. Security absolutely unprofessional and aggressive. Alleged manager brings a drink and wants to kick us out 1 minute later for no reason.

Kennedy's Irish Pub is a place where you feel at home, it’s a place full of international people, and above all, it’s a special place for those who love music and want to make friends with true music enthusiasts. The staff is particularly friendly, and everyone knows me as a regular customer. Most of the time when I need to order something to drink, I don’t even have time to speak, that they already know what I want to have. It’s a place where I’ve made several friends, especially on jam session and karaoke nights, and until today we still are united. Umut and Chris - both very talented - are doing a great job when it comes to karaoke. I am particularly thankful to these two guys who made me experience all those great nights in my life. Especially when it runs through the different night events with the bands, karaoke, and jam sessions. It's the right place to feel connected through the music and with the kind of people you meet in places like this. You really do not feel at home, but you feel like you’re with your own family. It's definitely my favourite place in Munich. Thumbs up! -Joe-

As always when visiting Munich, this is a mandatory stop! However, the last time I went to the place to take my Brazilian friends after a happy day at Oktoberfest, we had the displeasure of being served by an arrogant waitress, with no patience, and with the slightest desire to do her job, I suddenly realized that she was talking and he understood Spanish, but he pretended not to know it to pay attention to what we were saying! All in all, it was a disastrous end to the night! I was embarrassed to take my friends there! Not to mention that we hadn't finished eating and she wanted to charge us for the dishes right away as if we were going to escape!

I like it here but they are very badly organised. Don't offer tables on opentable if you won't ever confirm the booking or pick up the phone (booked 3 days in advance and never got response). Makes it difficult to plan in a city like Munich, where you need to be holding a table at 4pm if you didn't reserve.

Can't be beaten for location slap bang in the middle of Munich handy for old town and just a nice walking distance to Octoberfest site. I can only comment on breakfast food wise. I had that the day after a full day at Octoberfest and a late night in Kennedy's. From what I can remember, it was very tasty Spent a good few hours in the bar the night before and had an absolutely brilliant time. The staff were excellent, not having to wait too long for drinks, and the bartender even remembered our drinks. The atmosphere was electric, everyone enjoying the karaoke. Next time I am in town, I will definitely go back.

Fantastic after oktoberfest venue if you're not burnt out by 11pm

I spent a Monday morning with my girlfriends and had a great time! The karaoke thrilled us all, and giving away roses from Oktoberfest brightened the atmosphere wonderfully <3.

Kennedy‘s is always great to spend an evening at.

The bouncer at the entrance didn't let me and my friend in. We've been there two days before and we had a good time, now we're pissed. Many other people went in just showing their ID. Thank you for the free discrimination.

Great spot for sports and a couple of beers. Good selection of food. Recommended for anyone visiting from out of town looking to watch a game. Karaoke as well on certain days of the week.

Super nice pub atmosphere. Food was very filling but the meat was a little tough in the Philly Cheese Sandwich. Prices are usual for Munich, so quite high but normal. The service was nice, but we had to keep calling and the drinks took a relatively long time. But of course the store was also full. We found it extremely cheeky that the waitress complained about not getting enough tips. In my opinion, it's not good form, although we gave quite a lot of tips as a group of 11 and left a turnover of almost 1200 euros. There is also a star deduction for this. Otherwise, absolutely recommended location.

Very cool pub! The beer selection is really large and the prices are reasonable for Munich standards. There was also a live band on the Sunday evening when we were there, which was very cool.

We were there on Saturday evening. There was karaoke and the atmosphere was fantastic. The Newcastle Brown Ale is highly recommended.

Environment very central, service good, even though it was really full, the food is ok (like fast food) but it's a shame that I had a bad stomach ache the following day. I've been here before, it happened first.
