We always like to stop by, the staff and beer are always top notch, with the crowd you just have to be lucky because of the city center location, it always depends on what's going on in Munich

One of the best pubs in Munich, the atmosphere is really great and the service is friendly. The prices are okay, not excessive.

The bartender was insisting that we tip on every drink. Really not a good look

Very friendly service on bar. Good music. Kind people. I paid like 18 Euros for 3 pints and a shot of Jamie. Highly recommended!

The place is very nice but always very crowded.

Went there twice for delicious ale. There's a quiet little "beer garden" in the back yard, and in the evenings the bear dances in the basement with live music. But it's more suitable for the pub clientele ;-) Definitely worth experiencing.

Came to watch the Liverpool match but the TVs are about 20” and on the ends of the bar. Good was good, beers were cold and the staff was great!

Since there are no longer that many Irish pubs in Munich (no O'Reilly's, no Shenanigans, no more Muddy Boot...), Kilians is certainly the most beautiful and authentic remaining pub in Munich. Right in the middle of the city center, the price is totally ok, always nice service, live music, football, etc. It's great that you're still here and hopefully you'll keep going for a long time. I now like to come over with the children after a stroll through the city and everyone feels comfortable, typically Irish.

This is how I imagine an Irish pub. And in the best location in Munich, nice in the basement, dark, lots of different accessories everywhere in the corners and on the walls. The waitresses are friendly and the food tastes great. The drinks are of course exactly as you would expect. With live bands. Full marks.

Juice shop. The bouncer thinks he's the greatest and turns people away for no reason. It's a shame, it would have generated a lot of sales with my friends. The Augustiner headquarters then received the money :-)

Nice spacious cellar, typical pub feel. It was nice and quiet at lunchtime and the service was nice and courteous. There are also typical pub sauces on all the tables, which I always think is great. The food prices are absolutely okay for downtown Munich, and there is also a lunch menu. Generally a good selection. Only for Irish beers (e.g. Guinness, Murphy, O'Haras) are the prices a bit high at €6.90, but that seems to be the case everywhere now. The taste was definitely convincing. Generally very nice there, would go again

It was okay, but nothing special. The live music was mediocre. It was quite crowded, so the air was stuffy, and the bouncers were unfortunately very unfriendly.

We went on a Friday and the place was absolutely packed. Every table was reserved so if you did find a spot you couldn't sit there. Service was non-existant, (table service only) and it was way to loud to speak. Ideal for the under 30s, if you're older give it a miss. (We went elsewhere to eat of course). I gave it 3 stars for its authenticity.

My favorite pub in whole Munich. Great live music, important football matches are always on, fun karaoke, solid beer.

They said we couldn't go in (4 male people) and we had to wait 20 minutes. A few minutes later it was said “that won’t happen today” and shortly afterwards others were asked how many people they were (four people) and were allowed in. impudence.

Men's group of 4 people were put off until the next day because the restaurant was said to have been overcrowded at the time. Afterwards a group of 2 men and 2 women were invited in without any problems 🤔 Always happy 😊 (NOT) AWESOME!!! P.S. Who pays for the girls? 😇

It's nice, especially the event calendar and music program is cool. The interior, design, atmosphere is a little "divided" due to the two separate rooms.We went at about 8.30pm on a Saturday night for food and drinks.I was quite disappointed by the fish&chips to which I had been so looking forward to (17.90Eur). The chips were fine but the fish, no "batter" to speak of, no real spices or any taste..... overcooked even while the batter was nothing that could be described as crispy or golden in the least. It was really crowded when we arrived, so no luck for a table or even any bar stools anywhere.About 40min later we were lucky and only ordered food once we had a place to sit. The cider and Guiness was fine. I do prefer other locations in Munich to this one, after my first visit there.

Killian's Pub near Marienplatz in Munich is a true gem for Irish pub lovers. The atmosphere is authentic and welcoming, with an impressive selection of beers and whiskeys. No guards controlling the amount of people inside. It was too crowded, couldn't even reach the bar to order a beer.

Bartender beyond friendly, it was PACKED (it always is) and he always made sure I was taken care of quickly. Vibe is lovely, everyone's having fun. Very true to it's Irish air.

I've been coming to this pub regularly for a few months now and always enjoy the relaxed and friendly atmosphere. It's the perfect place to unwind after work or spend a cozy evening with friends. The staff is always attentive and warm, you immediately feel welcome. The selection of drinks is great and the quality is impressive every time. The furnishings are tasteful and contribute to the pleasant atmosphere. A wonderful pub that I can recommend to everyone – always worth a visit!

Simply mega and definitely worth a visit if you are in Munich. We'll come back any time we're in Munich. It is advisable to make a reservation as it gets busy after 8:00 p.m. on the weekend.

The atmosphere is excellent, and the food and beer also meet the standards that this location sets and demands, namely a real sports bar. I don't know why, but you have to wait a long time for service, probably because there are always a lot of guests. You don't have to wait that long to order or have the order delivered, but if I have to pay the bill, there is no way to find someone who can collect the bill. But whatever, I stop by every time I'm in the area.

We were initially not allowed into the bar (two men, 35 years old, and a woman, 32), so we couldn't really judge it at first. This was the only place where such a thing happened to us in about 20 countries we've visited. We assumed the bar must have something truly special to be so selective. However, on our second attempt, we were allowed in, and honestly, there was nothing memorable about it. The bar wasn’t even that busy, so we didn’t understand the initial refusal. The service was mediocre at best (long waiting times and clients served before us, despite coming after us) it doesn’t do much to enhance the reputation of Irish bars.

It’s fine for snacks but I’m not a big fan of oily food so personally I’d not choose to have a proper meal here. The service is quite nice and friendly. Perfect place to hang out with a bunch of friends and has the right pub vibes ^^

I really like this place—the atmosphere is lively and perfect for Munich pub. The waiters are incredibly friendly and efficient, even during busy times, which is impressive. However, the ventilation is a major issue. On multiple occasions, I had to leave because the air was so stuffy and filled with the smell of sweat that it became hard to breathe. If they fix this, it would make the experience so much better.

VERY BAD HYGIENIC CONDITIONS: THERE WAS A MOUSE INSIDE THE PLACE! I almost never write reviews, but this time I'll make an exception because I've never come across such a situation. I was in this place on New Year's Eve 2025 after a long search for places open until late: you pay €8 for entry without drinks included, once inside we had to argue with the bartender to get some cocktails, terrible music (in less than half an hour some songs were played several times) but above all the hygienic conditions are obscene. I have never found such a dirty place in my life, we saw A MOUSE RUNNING UNDISTURBED BETWEEN THE TABLES... this place should be closed by the authorities, it does not respect any type of hygiene and cleanliness standards. Absolutely avoid it!

The staff knows their stuff and you get the impression that they have years of experience here. The service is impeccable, very fast and satisfactory. Great praise also goes to the bands and the karaoke DJs, who have been working with dedication and passion for years to make the atmosphere of the restaurant even more unique. Awesome location! Always something going on, good food, live music and great service. The only thing that only affects smokers is that there is too much terror on the part of the security troops. After 10 p.m., even if you are standing alone outside, they send you across half the square, away from the bar! That's exaggerated!

The place had a great atmosphere but the food is not that good..I don't think food is the main thing people go there for so I guess it's ok. I also feel it is a dirty place, there was food spilled all over the floor and the table was sticky, the bathroom had no soap so not my favourite place to go. Will I go back? Yes probably. I will pack my dezinfectant wipes just in case there's no soap again

Negative points: - too old fashioned (some furniture could be renewed without losing the Irish style) - music is sometimes too loud (also loudspeaker with bad quality) - bouncers a bit weird (could be nicer and less arrogant) - we tried the vegan sandwich.
