Magnificent place, with karaoke, live music, beautiful decoration, quiet atmosphere and next to the cathedral. Very nice waiters and delicious coffee. Good value for money. What a shame I didn't discover it sooner.

Great overall pub to hang out while in Munich. Of course you have to visit the Hofbrauhaus, but afterwords try Killian’s. A wide selection of food on the menu, live music most nights (not all Irish - some pop and rock as well), and a friendly staff - this is a fantastic place to chill.

The “Beergarden” was a wonderful oasis from the hustle and bustle around it. Service attentive, competent. However, once you have visited the restrooms, you know that you are in an Irish pub😉 That's why only four stars. Gladly again next time.

Awful welcome, about as irish as munich ..if it's table service let's us know ,don't let me order the entire drinks menu and shoot us down with your rude "it's tabke service" guy who did serve was polite tho .give it a miss

Boy, great service. Sat down and ordered almost immediately even though it was completely full. In just a few minutes the beer was perfectly chilled on the table. Prices are humane compared to other restaurants.

20 minute wait just to order. The burgers are good, the potatoes taste like fish and they brought us tap water

I was there a few times and the service is somewhat okay, some are nice others aren’t really. If you’re in the city and what to go to an irish pub i guess you can go here. I don’t really like the atmosphere, but I wouldn’t be able to fully explain, as I said some are nice and I am thankful for there service:)

I've been there several times, but the service has never been as bad as this time. We were lucky, we only waited 15 minutes for the order to be taken and only 20 minutes for the burgers to arrive and 5 minutes later the poorly poured Augustiner (one finger's width under the calibration mark). Others waited 20 minutes and then left. Mind you, there wasn't much going on and not all the tables were occupied. It's a shame it used to be a great restaurant with great service.

Stopped by again spontaneously yesterday. As always, really nice, friendly service, perfect cold Augustiner and the fish & chips were really delicious. Thanks :)

Horrible service, I can’t believe the good comments. Staff are so rude and they basically do not care anything, unbelievably bad experience.

Quiz night is great, but the place seems continuously understaffed. Bar isn’t giving out drinks to folks who‘ve been waiting for 30+ minutes during an established weekly event. Could definitely Italy provide better service, the event would be great otherwise.

Go to Kennedy’s instead, staff treats you well there.

Very authentic pub in the middle of Munich. Always very full and well attended. Reservations are strongly recommended; if you don't have a reservation, you should come by early. Good beer, good service and great atmosphere.

It's one of the best Irich pubs in Munich. The service was very friendly and professional. Despite the huge number of people, we were served surprisingly fast. They can organise a big screen for public viewings. If the weather is good, you can sit outside.

We visited the outdoor area for lunch and two beers. The service was quick and friendly. The prices correspond to the Munich city center level – i.e. high. The quality of the food was very good.

There definitely better pubs in Nurnberg, avoid this one, it isnt it worth....we've also had to wait a very long time for our drinks and to order; unfortunately we didn't enjoy the stay.

Great atmosphere, great music. They stream cricket & football as well. The only bad thing was that it was too hot inside the pub because they let too many people in for the football match.

The tall barman with the tattoos, beard and top knot really needs to learn how not to be extremely rude to customers.

We had a blast here! The atmosphere is great, the staff is fairly friendly, drinks were decent. Karaoke was so much fun! We partied with the locals until the late hours, they made us feel welcome and were a lot of fun to drink with.

The atmosphere is a traditional Irish pub, noisy, drunk, dangerous. I took Murphys. If you want an Irish mood, this is the place for you.

Almost Heaven!!! Sometimes you don't have to say much - perfect cuisine, delicious Kilkenny-style Irish pub and friendly service. A little piece of Ireland in the middle of Munich. A MUST for every trip to the city.

Guiness was a crime against humanity, single pour, no shtick, came out settled and unorthodoxly carried out two at a time.

An absolute gem in the heart of Marienplatz. Thoroughly enjoyed Kilian’s. The staff, atmosphere and food were all excellent. Well priced for the quality (and quantity) of food. It has a range of options from bites to full meals and light meals. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a chilled lunch in Marienplatz. The pub downstairs is a vibe if you’re just looking for a beer.

Food okay, but almost a bit too expensive. Service and ambience very good. The live music is particularly recommended.

Pub with a stylish ambience, quite large and still very nice. Usually very crowded and noisy, make sure you make a reservation. The service staff is very attentive and quick. Delicious pub food, quick and tasty. The Guinness is poured perfectly here (which unfortunately cannot be said for the Augustiner). Always good live music. I really enjoy going to this pub!

A typical Irish pub with seats by the cathedral outside, a beer garden in the inner courtyard and a number of seats at the bar and in various rooms in the basement, there is also the stage for live music and karaoke. Killians is a great place with good food and a usually friendly staff. Unfortunately, today, 20. Mai 2024 at 13:10 PM, the fairly young gentleman who was seating people outside was quite unfriendly. It's the second time we've had that type of experience with him. Perhaps he's not a fan of "tourists." That's disappointing as this is usually not the case. Our waitress was very nice and helpful! Nevertheless, give it a try if you are close by. Chances are you will have a fine time.

Quaint pub. Fast service. When we were there there was a live band playing. Audience well mixed. Didn't eat anything, so no star.

It was absolutely shocking and shameful how bad one particular waiting staff behaves: One guest asked 6 times to get an order, it is very crowded, hard to move around: 1st time he accused this guest of standing in the way; 2nd time he said will be back; 3rd time he said “pls. wait I need to collect money from another table”; 4th and 5th time he ignored the request and took order from 2 guests around the requestor; the 6th time he finally replied: “you need to order at the bar”. The guest was confused It’s understandable that this individual doesn’t want to serve people who are standing rather serve tables or groups so he gets more tips and run less times in crowded bar, but after standing and waiting for 40 minutes, he could have said at the start: sorry but pls. serve yourself, and the bar is this way xyz. The attitude was aggressive, arrogant and unprofessional. Rest of his colleagues were really nice and 3 of them helped out eventually.

If you like going to the pub, this is the place for you, the service is quick and friendly. Top selection of drinks and food at a top price. Live music is always great too. Security is always friendly and makes sure that drunks stay outside so that there is a great atmosphere inside. Can only recommend

Would like to report about the pub, but there was a very unsympathetic bouncer in front of the shop who turned us away without even having a chance to get in... 12 young thirsty men walked past your sales! A pity!

I've lived in Ireland for a long time and every time I visit I always feel a bit like I'm in Dublin. I go there regularly and can only recommend the pub.

Do not go here if you're on a stag do. The stag wasn't allowed in his fancy dress because of pub policy, when we were the only ones there. Staff were rude too, and made him change out of fancy dress whilst watching him the entire time. We were a pretty tame stag do as well. The Dutch guy who served us was lovely though.
