Music is annoying, techno. Fried potatoes sticky. Snack quality. Schnitzel… well. Too expensive for this level.

We are vacationers from Erfurt. The food was incredibly good and delicious! Good GERMAN cuisine:) The service was always friendly and accommodating, even when I wanted to eat out twice without a reservation. The boss also takes time for his guests as soon as things calm down. 5 deserved stars!

One of the best schnitzels in the world

Went to dinner today without having booked a table. We made it possible for us to stay there. For a person who can't eat a lot, there are really small portions [senior plates] were also recommended to me. I found it very nice and it was completely sufficient for me. It was really a nice evening with delicious food. Thank you for that. Will recommend you further.

After the new tenant it has now become extremely expensive. Schnitzel with fried potatoes and champion about 21.00 euros is outrageously expensive. Don't go there anymore.

The restaurant is located on the outskirts of Prerow. Some tables were already reserved, but they still managed to find a place for me. I ordered schnitzel, naturally, and a beer. Both the beer and the food were delicious. The schnitzel is quite thick, juicy and delicate. I left happy and full. It is worth adding that the service is handled by two nice ladies.

The Schnitzelstube is a very good location with a very good atmosphere. The food is extremely tasty and very plentiful and the price-performance ratio is right. The service staff are very friendly and accommodating and the chef who prepares the food knows his craft. So we can highly recommend the Schnitzel Stube if you are in Prerow or just traveling, it is a very good recommendation for eating out.

This is how schnitzels have to be. No ready-made schnitzels from the deep fryer. Price-performance ratio is perfectly fine and the service is nice.

We spontaneously stopped by the Schnitzelstube. We were initially disappointed that friendliness wasn't as important as we were used to last year. When we asked if there was still a table available, they were rudely cordoned off and had to wait. We then had a table outside. Unfortunately no one noticed that the cushions were wet, as was the table. We ordered, then another table became available and we sat down there because it started raining again. Unfortunately, the waitress didn't react very friendly. We then ate and then left.

Simple restaurant. Schnitzels were perfect, for me personally the side dish was a bit too salty. We would still like to come back. Very friendly staff.

We decided to visit the Schnitzelstube at short notice and got a reservation half an hour in advance. The staff was super friendly and committed, even though they were completely out of breath thanks to the warm summer day. But that didn't change the humorous condition. We were served quickly; neither drinks nor food took long to arrive. Both schnitzels were great! No trace of ready meal or deep fryer schnitzel. The whole portion was more than generous and the side dishes were completely sufficient! Gladly again. :)

We were there for dinner around 7 p.m. and were given the choice between outdoor seating and indoor dining. We were served very quickly, drinks came straight away. My wife had Schnitzel Hawaii, it was super fried and the plate was decorated decoratively. I am a vegetarian and my meal was spontaneously put together according to my wishes. Simply great, where can you still get that today? Our meals were prepared quickly and served professionally without any long waits. The prices are within the usual range. We can recommend the restaurant with a clear conscience and will go there again in the next few days.

We have been visiting the Schnitzelstube at least once on vacation for 4 years. Same today. The first thing we noticed was the dedicated waitress, who handed out the menus and took the drink orders with enthusiasm and commitment. When we looked through the menu we were surprised by the expanded selection of dishes, very nice! The food we ordered was again a positive surprise compared to previous years, slightly larger portions, slightly more sophisticatedly prepared, and our impression was that it tasted better. When we were paying, we found out that there had been a change of tenant! My comment was: You're doing everything right, thank you very much! We wish you continued success! Don't let the occasional grumpy reviews put you off. We are coming again next year!

We have been spending our holidays in Prerow for years and enjoyed being guests at Gisela's. This year the disappointment; new tenants. There's no comparison to Gisela's hospitality and really delicious schnitzels! The waitress was more concerned with herself and loudly discussed the inappropriate tipping. The side dishes were not according to the order (supposedly the cash register was defective and would not accept the order that had been typed in). The waitress has XXL fingernails!!!. And the schnitzel came out of the deep fryer!! And the prices are outrageous. Won't be returning there again.

If you want schnitzel in Perow you don't have to look long for Schnitzelstube Weststrand, a little hidden but still easy to find, a little insider tip, very tasty food and drinks, good service and friendly staff, the schnitzel and the solyanka were really tasty and the price was good The relationship was right. The solyanka tastes like home or even better and the schnitzels are made of good meat and well prepared and the side dishes, whether fries 🍟 or fried potatoes, were very tasty. Definitely the insider tip in Prerow. We're going there again.

Absolute warning for this restaurant! The prices are an absolute outrage compared to the quality of the food. What is asked for and then offered does not fit together at all. Schnitzels are of the simplest quality (very likely frozen products and then only deep fryer), as are all other side dishes. Don't get me wrong, you can eat the schnitzels, but for at least 50% lower prices. Service is also borderline: after it was made clear that you didn't like the food, there was no attempt to make amends (e.g. 2 drinks for free or a dessert for free), no - you were allowed to pay the full bill. It's actually really unbelievable how little customer satisfaction seems to matter. Again: it's better to spend your money somewhere else and NOT go here. P.S.: from the restaurant's answer (below) you can already see the lack of customer service from the owners. I would like to address a few points: 1) where can you eat schnitzel for €16.90 in Vienna? For example in the Waldviertler Stuben in the 5th district, it even costs €14.90!!! Just an example, but ok. 😉 2) Didn't we eat everything and I also said that you can eat the schnitzel, but the quality and price don't match (at the above-mentioned restaurant in Vienna you can take a look at the pictures to see a real schnitzel) and after a hike of several hours, hunger prevailed, even if the food didn't match the price. So please read it carefully again. 3) You should think about what YOU are doing with your behavior and your customer service, please start with yourself. I had no assignment. All in all, you can see here how customers and criticism are dealt with. Despite all the complaints, all of the money was still very much accepted.

We've been back in Prerow with our caravan for the last two weeks, we've been doing that for many years so our little click here celebrates Men's Day Since the food here tastes so good and we are schnitzel fans, we were of course happy to come back to eat. We'll be back in the summer and are already looking forward to the schnitzels. So now to the service, the food comes quickly, although everything is always freshly prepared and a big compliment to the service. Here it feels like you are in a nice family. So this small restaurant is definitely recommended. Even forgetting it at night, a good cook makes all the difference, thank you very much, keep it up, it tastes excellent.

We love schnitzel. Unfortunately, these seem to come from the deep fryer. It's simply too expensive for that. Very dry and anything but juicy. We tried it and it was enough for us. However, there was lovely service.

We know the old crew, but are open to new things. Unfortunately, neither food nor service are on the positive list. The new team still has a lot to learn, you don't make a name for yourself at the expense of your predecessors by badmouthing them and not being able to close the open toilet door that you walk past 10 times or be able to name the wine within 1.5 hours, that you sell. It's a shame, we used to feel very comfortable there. Not anymore.

Because we really wanted schnitzel, we spontaneously ended up in the Schnitzelstube. Despite a short-term request, we got a table straight away. The restaurant is small but fine and furnished with great attention to detail. We immediately felt comfortable. The service is super friendly and warm and the food and drinks are a dream. All dishes tasted great and the schnitzels were a 10/10! Price performance is definitely right here and for the portions you get, the price is more than fair. Since we are often in the area, we are really looking forward to the next time and have found a new favorite restaurant. Big compliments to the entire team - keep it up!

We ate in the Schnitzelstube for the 4th time today, it was again incredibly tasty and the portions were generous. We are already looking forward to the next time.

While searching on the internet we discovered the Schnitzelstube. It's on the outskirts of town, but the journey is worth it. We ate 4 different schnitzels and all were freshly prepared and very tasty. Here the boss still cooks himself. We felt comfortable and will come back.

We ate in the Schnitzelstube for our wedding anniversary. We had a table decorated especially for us 😀 The Schnitzelstube is very nicely decorated, service staff A+, Selection of schnitzel on the menu with different variations is very good, there is something for everyone. We had schnitzel with beans and bacon and schnitzel with champion cream sauce. Both dishes were very tasty. Portions large and price/performance ratio thumbs up. We recommend. We had a week's vacation here and found this little restaurant. It wasn't easy, but you guys will be rewarded by the food. The solyank at the beginning was a poem and the schnitzel with mushrooms, fresh mushrooms, simple 😋. The food also came very quickly, even though everything was freshly prepared. The restaurant owner gave us a very friendly welcome and during a nice conversation we learned that he had only recently taken over this small restaurant. We found it very cozy here thanks to the small fireplace, which made the ambience nicer. So we'll definitely be back in the summer, until then we wish you good luck and lots of guests.

If you like schnitzel, this is 120% the right place, it's nice and cozy here, only 6 tables inside. The fireplace just makes it even cozier. I felt a bit like I was sitting in the family living room. The staff is very friendly and responds patiently to the guest and tries to make everything possible, really great 😊. So if you like good, honest food, you've come to the right place... they're also very fond of animals. See you soon, we'll be back.

While looking for a dinner, we became aware of the Schnitzelstube through a well-known search engine. We were warmly welcomed and allowed to choose a spot. The food was served to us after a short time with a large portion. The food was great! After the meal we learned during small talk that the owners had recently taken over the restaurant from the owner or previous owner. We wish them both good luck, always satisfied guests and all the best in the season.

Absolutely honest and delicious cuisine with a lot of love and passion. No frills or gimmicks. If you like that, you've come to the right place and will be looked after by a great team.

We had dinner here on our vacation. We enjoyed the Farmer's Breakfast Schnitzel Hawaii and Jägerschnitzel, we were all full and we enjoyed it. We would recommend it.

Ich finde es schade, wir haben uns vom Namen anziehen lassen und den guten Bewertungen. Das Ambiente stimmt, der Service auch. Allerdings kommen die Schnitzel nicht aus der Pfanne, was ich vom Namen her anders erwartet habe. Ebenso wird die Jägersoße mit Unterstützung der Industrie zubereitet. Beim Essen gehen erwartet man mehr als man zu Hause selbst kann. Für das gleiche Geld bekommt man in Prerow Schnitzel, welche mehr überzeugen. Essen konnte man es aber, der Erwartungen waren leider nur höher.

Essen lecker, Service eher rustikal (man räumt nicht Teller ab wenn andere am Tisch noch essen), innen ganz toll gemacht - außen geht halt nicht anders

Es ist ein sehr schönes Wirtshaus, schön gelegen und fast alles stimmt,bis auf die Schnitzel.Solche schlechten oder mehr ekligen Schnitzel haben wir noch nie irgendwo gegessen.Aus der Großpackung und frittierte.Noch nicht mal richtig frittiert!!! Ich verstehe andere Leute nicht,dass gut und schmackhaft zu finden.Und das für 15€.Aber Bratkartoffeln und Pommes waren gut. So ein gutes Wirtshaus in ausgezeichneter Lage . Wir glauben da geht noch was. Mfg

Das Essen war sehr lecker und ausreichend. Es kam auch schnell und das Personal war sehr freundlich und fix. Unsere Hunde haben ein Leckerli bekommen, danke, dass wir willkommen waren. Bis bald!

Wir haben jetzt mehrmals dort zu Abend gegessen. Es hat immer gut geschmeckt, die Portionen waren ordentlich und es gab nichts zu nörgeln. Preis/Leistung stimmt.Und man wird sehr nett bedient, was auch nicht mehr überall selbstverständlich ist.

Total sympathisches kleines Restaurant. Wir wurden von dem super netten, aufmerksamen und zuvorkommenden Mutter-Sohn-Duo bestens empfangen und bewirtet! Die Schnitzel waren Klasse, ebenso die Pommes und Bratkartoffeln! Auch der Salat war frisch zubereitet und angerichtet. Von der Reservierung, über die liebevolle Dekoration, das familiäre Ambiente, das leckere Essen und die netten Gastgeber bis zur Verabschiedung top! Sollten wir Prerow wieder einmal besuchen, wird unser Weg wieder in die Schnitzelpfanne führen.

Leckere saftige Schnitzel, Ofenkartoffel, frische Salatmischung mit einer Soße, die den Salat gut ergänzt und ihm trotzdem seinen Eigengeschmack lässt. Das Ganze in familiärer Atmosphäre... Wir hatten Glück, das wegen einer Gesellschaft einen Tag früher als geplant vor Ostern geöffnet wurde :)

Kurzfristig einen Termin bekommen ohne Reservierung. Im Innenraum war es gut besucht, draußen war noch alles frei. Nette Bedienung mit gutem Essen. Für meinen persönlichen Geschmack etwas kleine Portion bei einem recht hohen Preisniveau. Die Getränkepreise sind schon Recht happig.

Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich. Das Essen frisch gekocht und lecker, durchaus zu empfehlen. Das Schnitzel hätte etwas größer sein dürfen, aber Preis-Leistung voll in Ordnung. Daumen hoch!

Wir waren heute sehr spontan hier und hatten Glück einen Tisch zu ergattern. Bedienung war sehr lieb zu den Kindern, zuvorkommend, und man fühlte sich willkommen - ja, als würde man schon x-Mal dagewesen sein. Die Schnitzelstube ist eine echte Entdeckung, und obwohl wir schon unzählige Male in Prerow waren, war es für uns eine Neuentdeckung. Essen sehr lecker, Sauberkeit top, wunderbar am Waldgelegen. Was soll ich sagen: wir kommen definitiv wieder!!!

Super lokal sehr tolle Atmosphäre, super freundlich. Alles frisch zubereitet auch die sel st gemachten Pommes ein Traum. Wie in der guten Stube immer wieder gerne.

Wir hatten (zum Glück) einen Tisch vorbestellt. Die Lokalität ist immer gut besucht. Zur Zersteuung wurde uns ein lustiges Würfelspiel gereicht. Das Essen ear solide und ausreichend.

Bedienung war sehr nett, man kann schön draußen sitzen, aber das Schnitzel war Tiefkühlware, man muss nicht Koch sein, um so ein Ding im Öl warm zu machen
