Schlemmer-Eck in Prerow

Five of us went for dinner. The food was delicious, the value was good, and the service was very friendly. We'll be back!

Unfortunately, we must have caught a bad day at the restaurant, and we didn't think our food was that great. I had the hamburger-style schnitzel, and it tasted like fish, considering it's made of pork. The fries weren't that fresh or crispy, but the small salad that came with it was good. My better half had the herring platter, where the fish was very good, but the fried potatoes weren't, unfortunately. They were more like warmed-up, already fried potatoes, in any case, not good. The service (one person) did everything they could to make us all happy, but unfortunately, it didn't quite succeed. The atmosphere in the entire restaurant during our visit was rather stiff and uncomfortable.

The takeaway service option should be changed. We called at 5:45 p.m. on the first day and were rudely told that they were only open until 5 p.m. We then called the next day at 4:45 p.m. and were told, unfortunately, only until 5 p.m. Either they don't have a clock or they no longer need it. Definitely not a recommendation for us.

Super delicious food and great service.

Today was our third time eating here. We had six different dishes in total, all freshly prepared, piping hot, and served promptly by very friendly waitresses. The food is absolutely delicious; if you're on the Darß island, you should definitely stop here. The whole thing is simply perfect. We'll definitely be back.

The food here is very good. We decided on this restaurant at very short notice. We can't understand why it hasn't been busy. The service was very friendly and immediately brought a bowl of water for our little dog. We didn't have to say anything. The atmosphere is very cozy, and the food arrived very quickly. We had the schnitzel. Unfortunately, there was no sauce on the schnitzel, but we were given a sauce bowl with barbecue sauce. We highly recommend the Schlemmer-Eck.

Nice little restaurant, super nice waitress, can deal very well with small, bright children, always smiling. You didn't have to wait too long for the food, the food was very tasty, highly recommended.

I had a yup for a currywurst and thought the shop was a snack bar - far from it. In fact, the best of the three restaurants I tried in Prerow is hidden here. The old gas station serves the same dishes as the other fish restaurants. The difference was that the crispy fried potatoes came with the herring plate with plenty of bacon and onions. The salad with smoked salmon strips was also very tasty, the dressing just had a little bit of oomph. In terms of value for money, it's my absolute favorite in Prerow. The service was very friendly, accommodating and chatty.

Very pleasant atmosphere. Friendly staff. Very clean, modern sanitary area. The food was prepared quickly and was very tasty and filling. The regional herbal liqueur after the meal was also delicious. We'd love to come back.

We spontaneously came across the Schlemmen-Eck, very clean, friendly and fast service, but the waitress always had a nice word for the guests at the table. The dog was also warmly welcomed. We can highly recommend the fish dishes, freshly prepared, perfect in taste and plentiful, good value for money! We can highly recommend the restaurant!

Spontaneously decided and found it to be very tasty. We had the salad plate with salmon as a starter. The main course was the Hamburger Schnitzel. The dishes are freshly prepared, the schnitzels are freshly beaten. Very nice service, you can sit well in the winter garden.

We were in the Schlemmer-Eck in mid-October 2024, which reopened in 2019. I can definitely recommend this fine little restaurant! It is comfortably furnished with a few but interesting maritime pieces. The “winter garden”, which is specifically heated, is also a lovely place to sit. The boss does the service - very careful, very friendly. The boss is in the kitchen, the food came quickly and was very tasty, both my friend's cod fillet and the "Rostbrätel" - a juicy neck steak that I had.

Unfortunately I can't say anything about the food. We left without ordering. There was only one dish for vegetarians on the menu (salad with bread). Unfortunately it wasn't possible to get some fries with this salad. We were told that you can only get all the dishes completely, as it says on the menu. VERY INFLEXIBLE.

Went here to eat because of the overwhelmingly positive experiences of others. My wife ordered Hamburger Schnitzel and I had fried herrings. Herring lukewarm and not seasoned, schnitzel indefinable meat. With the fries 1 bag of mayo and ketchup. At least the beer was ok. Never again!!!!

We ate there before driving home. Everything was clean, the service was friendly. You didn't have to wait long for the food either. We will definitely come back there on our next visit to Prerow.

We had a very tasty meal in the Schlemmer-Eck today. We had ordered herring platter, very tender little fish with fried potatoes, with a kind of remoulade/dip, also very tasty. The salmon fillet was not as small as usual elsewhere and was well fried. Recommendation from us!

Tasty, inexpensive, friendly... we enjoyed being here.

We spontaneously wanted to eat there based on a recommendation. Unfortunately it was already full... which isn't actually a problem, just wait until a table becomes available - that was our plan. After we stood clearly visible in front of the shop for THREE-QUARTERS OF AN HOUR, two people pushed their way forward and only THEN did we hear from the landlord that "there will be 100% nothing today - only the reserved ones" An absolute impudence - leaves you standing in front of the store for THREE-QUARTERS OF AN HOUR and then sending you away. Absolutely unprofessional!

Top! Place to be and cultural insights

We, my wife, I and our two small dogs went to Schlemmer-Eck twice for dinner in the second week of July. The first time we sat outside in a double seater, my wife had the schnitzel with fries and, after good advice from the extremely friendly waitress, I had the sea bass with fried potatoes, both dishes were very, very tasty!!! The second time we sat inside and were served by the very nice boss (I think). My wife had the mixed herring plate with fried potatoes and I had the plaice with fried potatoes. These dishes were also to our complete satisfaction!!! Thank you very much, we will definitely be back! Many greetings from Berlin 😊

Were here for the first time today. We ordered the herring platter with fried potatoes twice, schnitzel with fried potatoes three times and nuggets with fries once. The food tasted very good and was plentiful. The homemade remulade was absolutely top. Highly recommend the restaurant.

Ambience ok, service very friendly and attentive, order - roast beef with onion rings , fried potatoes and side dish food tasted like it had been warmed up, and the onion rings also seemed like they had been warmed up. We were guided to visit this restaurant by the many positive reviews, but we were very disappointed and would not recommend this establishment.

Sat comfortably in the covered outdoor area after a recommended reservation and enjoyed good food (pickled fried herrings or whole plaice) despite the full house very friendly service. The whole thing was so good that we immediately made a reservation for the following day. By the way: The menu includes some special dishes beyond the standard ones!

We discovered it today by chance and tried it out. I had the Baltic herring with fried potatoes. Everything prepared fresh and quickly. Very nice service. It was also inexpensive. I also tried the Kukki cocktail here for the first time. Was good too. All I can say is, just give it a try.

Whenever we are in Prerow we come here. The menu is manageable, the fish is always very good and there are changing seasonal dishes. The service is very charming, uncomplicated and attentive. You will always receive a friendly welcome. Compared to many other restaurants in town, it's a haven of peace and is anything but aloof and overpriced. Gladly again at any time.

Einfach, aber mit Leidenschaft. Hier wird frisch gekocht, und was serviert wird ist wirklich lecker.

Wir haben hier sehr gut und reichlich gegessen. Alle Gerichte waren frisch (nicht nur bei Fisch wichtig) und sehr gut zubereitet. Bedienung war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Kommen gern wieder, hat uns sehr gut gefallen.

Super leckeres Essen. Wir waren mit 7 Personen spontan dort und wurden herzlich und freundlich bedient. Große Essenportionen und eine nette freundliche und kompetente Bedienung. Wir kommen wieder.

Schade waren in 7 verschiedenen Restaurants in Prerow Essen. das war das schwächste :-(. Vorspeise Soljanka habe ich schon besser gegessen. Einmal Rhabarber Dorschfilet war ok, Dorschfilet ( Kabeljaufilet) für meine Frau war im Vergleich sehr "verkocht" das man Fisch von einer Sorte so unterschiedlich zubereiten kann hat uns entäuscht schade.

Das Essen war sehr gut und reichhaltig. Bedienung/Service war sehr nett. Getränke wurden schnell gebracht. Hundefreundlich

Kleine aber feine Karte, wir hatten Fisch, der sehr lecker und reichlich war, keine 08/15 Küche. Die Chefin ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Kommen gerne wieder und können das Restaurant nur empfehlen.

Das Lokal an der Ecke sieht nett aus, schöner Wintergarten. Aufmerksame, freundliche Bedienung kann leider das mittelmäßige Essen nicht ausgleichen. Mein Eindruck aufgewärmte Tiefkühlkost, kann auch falsch sein. Preisleistungsverhältnis ist für mich nicht in Ordnung. Für das Gebotene zu teuer. 0,5 l Bier 5,10 Euro.

Von außen unscheinbar, aber von drinnen sehr gemütlich. Das Essen ist sehr lecker und man muss nicht lange warten. Die Preise sind auch sehr gut. Alles sehr freundlich. Es empfiehlt sich aber zu reservieren, wenn man spontan vorbei kommt, kann es sein das kein Platz mehr ist, weil es sehr klein ist und auch sehr beliebt ist. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Echte Offenbarung! Von außen mag das Erscheinungsbild des Restaurants an eine Imbissbude erinnern, aber davon sollte man sich nicht abhalten lassen. Nette Bedienung und sehr leckeres Essen, es kam auch sehr schnell. Das Schnitzel mit Würzfleisch ist sehr zu empfehlen. Vor allem die Bratkartoffeln haben sehr gut geschmeckt, das ist ja in Restaurants nicht immer so. Nice nice nice!

Leider schlecht besucht, da ungünstig gelegen. Eigentlich schade, waren nur Kaffee trinken.

Service gut, allerdings war das Essen nicht überzeugend. Vieles wurde wieder aufgewärmt und demnach nicht frisch zubereitet. Gibt besseres in Prerow. Würde nicht nochmal hingehen.

Wir hatten drei verschiedene Gerichte die alle sehr lecker waren und (was nur noch selten vorkommt) sie wurden zur selben Zeit an den Tisch gebracht, sodass wir alle sofort anfangen konnten zu essen. Schneller und guter Service, hätte nicht besser sein können. Wenn wir Urlaub machen kommen wir gern wieder hier her.
