We visited this wonderfully charming restaurant on three separate days. The appetizers, fish dishes, meat dishes, and desserts are unparalleled on the Darß peninsula. We were truly pampered with passion, care, and top-quality service. The staff is incredibly relaxed, attentive, and always smiling, radiating absolute confidence. The atmosphere is cozy and rustic, and the half-timbered architecture is wonderfully nostalgic. Anyone who misses this place is truly missing out on fine dining. We savored every moment. A particularly lovely touch is the music tent with mulled wine from the Glock winery and great music.

We had three different kinds of herring and pork knuckle; everything was fine and we enjoyed it, but at around 75 euros we thought it was quite expensive for 'home-style cooking'.

A very tasty selection of fish and meat dishes.

Our favorite restaurant for over 20 years; the food is outstanding, with fantastic fish dishes (fish soup, salmon and herring tartare, sea buckthorn cod, herring prepared three ways, to name just a few highlights), but also delicious, sophisticated, varied, and expertly prepared meat dishes that change with the seasons. We are always impressed by the professional service. This is something you don't often experience, especially in tourist areas: you are served quickly, politely, and sometimes even with a touch of humor. Also worth mentioning is the very extensive wine list and the large and well-stocked selection of spirits.

A super cozy place to linger, feel good, relax and enjoy 😉 I've never eaten such a brilliant combination of fish (cod with a sea buckthorn/apple crust and wild herb salad) – a real treat! 😋 The service was quick and very friendly. The comfortably furnished conservatory is simply perfect for relaxing, with patio heaters above the tables and fire pits with glass cylinders… very appealing! 👏🏻

It was our first time in Prerow and also our first time at Binnen & Buten. Verdict: really good! We had the fish platter and the lamb rump steak. Super delicious, excellent quality, and generous portions. The restaurant has a very unique charm, and it's incredibly cozy, even now in autumn. It must be amazing here in the summer! A definite recommendation; we'll definitely be back!

Excellent restaurant in Prerow, with very creative, fine cuisine. Rustic and relaxed ambiance, highly recommended!

A truly lovely ambiance. You can sit outside even on cold days, as the seating is in a marquee-like setting, and everything from heaters to sheepskin rugs is provided, allowing you to sit without a jacket. We ate there with four adults and three children. The owner knows that children want to be entertained while they wait. They gave away goody bags containing games, crayons, and pictures to color. The food is truly delicious and highly recommended. We'd happily return anytime.

If you enter a restaurant and are asked if you've pre-ordered and say no, it would be polite not to grimace in annoyance. I believe, especially in tourist areas, you should be prepared for walk-ins. We did eventually get a table, but found the way it was served a bit odd. The food was excellent!

So the pork knuckle is worth every heart attack.

We were immediately greeted by unfriendly service and turned around. We've never experienced anything like it before.

We've been coming here once a year for our fall getaways for the past three years, and what can I say? It's always a delightful experience. A spooky spot under the patio heater, soft music, friendly service (who, like me, always has a joke on their lips :- ; ), delicious food. What more could you want? We had the absolutely delicious flounder with fried potatoes. Mmmm, I'd love to go back next year.

We've been here many times and have always been satisfied. Unfortunately, we were unlucky this time. Our choice of a table right inside, right next to the door and facing the waiters' approach path, was awful in terms of acoustics and temperature (we were freezing; it probably would have been better outside under a heater). The service was very attentive and friendly. Unfortunately, the second round of drinks took a long time to arrive, presumably because they forgot. The food also took a while to arrive, which wouldn't have been so bad; it was busy, but we weren't so cold and lacked a cozy atmosphere. The food was of the usual quality, but it felt a bit smaller than usual. We hope this was an isolated incident.

Order: After taking our drink order, it took a long time for the drinks to arrive. The server in charge eventually came to take our food order, but the drinks still weren't there. They were then brought immediately by two more servers. The service was friendly, but also a bit stressed. Food: Unfortunately, 4 of the 6 dishes were lukewarm at best, some cold (mashed potatoes, baked potato, napkin dumplings). Other parts of the dishes were warm, though. So, very varied. Feedback about cold food was met with a brief inquiry from the server. A quiet "I'll pass that on," was heard. But no further apology. Still, a good restaurant with good food. Probably better on quieter evenings than on busy evenings.

First of all, very delicious food and a great location. That's why I would come back. Now my but... Unfortunately, due to an allergy, I have some restrictions when it comes to eating. When I asked the waiter which part of the dish exactly affected my allergen, he reacted with a completely rude "what exactly is my problem?" Even after a polite further explanation of what the issue was, he gave me another rude comment that I should just order boiled potatoes! At €29 per dish, a more polite greeting would have been appreciated...

A very nice restaurant not far from the pier. The starter, "Bruchetta a la Pomerania," was a completely different interpretation. It was very tasty. The main course from the daily special was fried Bodden eel with chanterelle and mashed potato dumplings and wild herb salad. Over the past few years, I've been to many restaurants along the coast and islands of the North and Baltic Seas. But I've never seen eel on a menu in this form. The value for money is more than acceptable, and the service is friendly, pleasant, and competent. I'd be happy to come back.

A wonderful restaurant with a large garden just before Prerow's impressive pier. The excellent menu offers a good selection for all tastes. Very friendly service. The moderate prices for large portions are particularly noteworthy. The dishes here are about €5 to €7 cheaper than in the restaurants we've eaten before. My recommendation – absolutely recommended.

We were supposed to go on holiday and for our wedding anniversary and have something special, and a restaurant with really good food. So we decided on Binnen un Buten. But we were quickly disappointed. We had chosen an appetizer, which wasn't served until a full hour later, after we had asked the waiter. As an apology, he offered a rather dry excuse that the kitchen was very busy. The soup we ordered was nothing special. Shortly afterward, the main course arrived. We strongly suspect that the waiter had passed our order on far too late. That wouldn't have been a big deal if he'd at least been honest and friendly. Unfortunately, he was completely disinterested. The main course was a complete disappointment. The meat was extremely dry. There was no sauce. The baked potato was mushy inside, and there was far too little dip. All of this was topped off with a few very small Brussels sprouts, which were unfortunately too salty. By then, we were already sitting at our table without drinks, which the waiter was just as uninterested in, as he was in asking whether the food was good. It's a complete mystery to us why this restaurant gets such good reviews. For us, it was a complete disappointment, and the service was abysmal. In our opinion, this visit is a no-brainer.

The food was delicious. One of the fish fillets was riddled with bones. After a complaint and a bit of insistence, it was replaced. And it was perfect. Why not go for top quality?

I ate pea soup there from the street vendor. It was delicious. I'd gladly go again.

Every time we're in Prerow, we eat there, and it's always delicious. The service is very friendly (even during peak times) and attentive. The outdoor seating is really appealing, and if you'd like to sit inside, that's also recommended...of course, you have to like the rustic feel...we do!!! The portions are more than sufficient and the dishes are varied. I've loved eating there since I was little, and I'll still do so when I'm older—I'm not getting any bigger—ha ha.

We ate there today. We had the fish platter with wild rice and the homemade tagliatelle with shrimp. It was absolutely delicious. The staff was also very friendly.

We ate here last year and loved it so much that we actually wanted to eat there more than once this year. Unfortunately, the restaurant has become very hectic these days because the personal dining time is limited and the waiters are practically running back and forth. We had to wait quite a long time for our drinks and then constantly looked at the clock while eating. This spoils the atmosphere. That's why we didn't go back after that, even though the food is still good.

If you want to eat fish, you'd better go to a fish restaurant. The flounder was very small and completely overcooked. Contrary to other reviews, the service was friendly, and the fried potatoes were good. But the dry mini flounder ruined my evening. A shame.

The green herring lacked a side dish for my taste and hunger, but everything else was fine.

We wanted to eat there yesterday. Yes, it was quite full and we stood at the front in the narrow dining room. All the waiters ignored you. A table became available... we thought we would clear the way and my men sat down. I was still standing at the counter where the next guests were already standing behind me. Then the waitress walked past me, looked at my men and said in a really bad tone who put “them” at the table. She asked my men to get up to get the table ready. There were already 5 PEOPLE standing around in the narrow anteroom and actually just disrupting the workflow. And what was she was gone and everyone starts at the full table. She didn't come back for several minutes. The other 2 guests were not greeted in a friendly manner from far away and there was no room left. They looked at us and said what I was thinking. Because they had heard everything. Nice is different, they probably don't need us as guests. We all went... Just sad

We waited forever for the food. There wasn't much going on. Since we were off season. And then the food was really bad. My baked potato was cold inside. My fish was raw inside. And that for the price. When I pointed this out, the answer was: "Well, it's not raw" ... not again.

The first question: Reserved? No, . Then they have to leave again in an hour, the restaurant was only half full at that time and when we left there were still many tables free... Food ok, drinks overpriced, a Sprite 0.2l costs 2.60, beer 0.5l6.50€.
