The food was delicious. The waiters were friendly. The beer was excellent. The Dark IPA was simply delicious. It got a very good review on Untapped. A few days later, I wanted a takeaway because my child had just eaten ice cream and we couldn't sit down. To my surprise, I was refused. Very strange and a shame. I'm still on vacation here for two weeks and would have loved to go again. But not like this.

Darßer Brauhaus – Top-notch Food & Finest Home-Brewed Beer Five of us visited Darßer Brauhaus and were thoroughly impressed. The food was consistently excellent. The menu isn't huge, but it's well-thought-out: Everyone will find something to suit their taste without having to wade through endless options. I'd particularly like to highlight the vegetarian offerings: My wife ordered the veggie burger and was absolutely thrilled – the taste, freshness, and portion size were just right. The absolute highlight for us, however, was the beer. We started with a sampler and were able to try the various home-brewed varieties – from pilsner and wheat beer to dark and IPA. All varieties were top-notch in terms of taste, but the dark beer in particular impressed us. No matter your beer type – you're guaranteed to find something you like and be happy here. In conclusion: A highly recommended place for beer lovers and connoisseurs of good food. We'll definitely be back!

We're absolutely thrilled! We've been here three times in a week and enjoyed every meal. The tagliatelle with vegetables, hamburger schnitzel, herring, the cutlet (it deserves an extra star 🤤), and the burger were all delicious. The service and atmosphere are excellent. Thumbs up 👍🏼 If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely stop by again 😊. We managed to get a table every time after a few minutes of waiting.

The food was good, but unfortunately not quite hot and at the high end of the price range. The roast beef was unfortunately a fillet that was overcooked: dry, well-done, and bitter. When we complained, the waiter simply shrugged. Child-friendly, unfortunately very crowded, and only one table left, right on the street, with the village's main intersection right next door. Luckily, we know of some alternatives.

I know few restaurants where I know that everything on the menu is a good choice. The offerings are varied and very tasty. And the service is always really good! Don't forget to pick up a bottle of the house-brewed beer!

Very tasty food and large portions. Even though we didn't have a reservation, they found a table for us. The service was quick and courteous. Changes were easily accommodated and even discussed. The wait time was reasonable. The food was very tasty. While not cheap, it was still reasonable. The outdoor area was covered and protected from the wind by a tarpaulin. There are also patio heaters. The restaurant is on the ground floor, but there are no accessible restrooms. The restrooms were clean, albeit a bit cramped.

The burger was definitely good and highly recommended. 5 stars for the delicious beers from the Darßer Brewery! A clear recommendation from me.

Excellent (white) beer, excellent food. Three of us were here, and each of us had an excellent meal!!! This restaurant was absolutely worth the 1,300-kilometer journey... Addendum: Don't forget the thyme liqueur! 😉

We just wanted to drink beer and were seated accordingly. During the beer tasting, the staff couldn't tell us with any certainty which beer was in which seat. Even changing seats from outside to inside wasn't easy. Even the question about the IBU was already too much. Not a pleasant evening :-(

A must-visit when we're on vacation in Prerow. The food is delicious and served quickly. Our service was super friendly, and special requests were accommodated. We always enjoy coming back.

The food and drinks at the brewery are really good and highly recommended. What I didn't like was that guests who didn't want to eat were asked to leave. This happened to both sides of our table, and it's quite frustrating. Of course, it's understandable that the brewery needs revenue from food, as they have a large staff to ensure fast service. It would be advisable for the restaurant to place a sign at the entrance politely stating that seating is only available if you're eating. This way, guests are told the truth, and there are no surprises.

We chose this restaurant to end our vacation. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive. Our waitress (from Berlin) was fantastic; you'll definitely have to keep her warm. Everything went very quickly, even though it was already quite busy. The food came quickly, with generous portions and excellent taste. We also enjoyed the ambiance; we sat outside in the shade in beautiful weather, freshly sunburned. Thanks for a lovely evening.

Very good location, food and beer top

We were in Prerow last October and wanted to eat at the brewery. Unfortunately, when we entered the place we were ignored. When my friend then spoke to a member of staff and wanted to book a table for the following day he was rudely told that he could see that it was very busy and that there was no time for something like that. We should come back later and try again. We should note that only 2-3 tables were occupied and it wasn't very busy... (I trained in the catering industry myself and they always took time for the guests). It's a shame but we decided against it... perhaps we should have read the reviews back then to see that other guests had been treated like this. Like other guests, we decided to eat at the Italian restaurant around the corner - we can highly recommend it.

Dear Brauhaus team, dear internet community, Unfortunately, I can't fully agree with the many positive reviews here. However, I would like to start with the positive aspects of our visit. We were impressed by the tastefully and invitingly decorated dining room, as well as the delicious home-brewed beers. The pork knuckle I chose was also impressive. Unfortunately, these are the only notable, satisfactory aspects of our stay. What didn't go so well? Even when making the reservation, the young waitress greeted me rather coldly. I was repeatedly told that if I wanted to reserve a table inside, I would have to sit there. Despite my understanding, this statement was repeated at least four times. Only when I emphatically assured the lady, somewhat annoyed, that I had certainly understood the first time, was a proper conversation about the reservation possible. I left the restaurant somewhat incredulous about what I had experienced, but still with a certain anticipation of the planned visit. On the evening of the reservation, we were greeted quite warmly by an older colleague and escorted to our seats. Our server was then the young colleague I had already met during the reservation. We couldn't expect a greeting from her; she simply took our order without comment. The drinks arrived quite quickly, closely followed by the food. Quite positive. As already mentioned, the beer and the knuckle of pork met my expectations, but the Hamburger Schnitzel was a different story. Unfortunately, it gave the impression of a frozen product (discount store level), which is anything but appropriate for the price charged. When we then confronted the young colleague about it, she initially confirmed my assumption, but what followed was almost a disgrace to us. We were asked what exactly the problem was. I then explained to her that it wasn't what one would expect in such a place, but that a frozen schnitzel from the deep fryer was more suited to a snack bar. Instead of apologizing for the inconvenience or something similar, my colleague tried to wiggle out of the situation by explaining to us that, contrary to what she had confirmed, it wasn't frozen food, but rather something prepared entirely in-house. We left it at that, speechless and feeling like we were being made fools of. After this conversation, we weren't served again. (Critical ability = 0?) I ultimately had to ask for the bill myself at the counter. It should also be mentioned that some guests at neighboring tables were also treated quite snippy by the same waitress. In conclusion, we are very disappointed with our visit to Brauhaus Prerow; we really expected more. We're happy to overlook minor discrepancies; we're only human, and everyone has bad days, but we've never experienced anything like this before. Nevertheless, we wish the brewery team all the best and remain with kind regards.

Ultra-fast, super friendly service and delicious, fresh food. The food arrived lightning fast; the homemade herring was fantastic, and the homemade remoulade was especially delicious. The staff is super friendly and on the ball; we felt very comfortable here and the food was delicious.

I had salmon fillet cooked in foil on tagliatelle with creamed spinach. The salmon fillet was good, but the tagliatelle was so dry that the top pieces were almost hard. When I asked, quite politely, if I could have some sauce for my pasta, I was told, "That's how it's supposed to be; they don't offer any extra sauce." What a disgrace for €27.50!

The home-brewed beer is delicious, but the food wasn't as good as expected... But I don't have a problem with that... The service was worse... Ordering was only possible after more than half an hour, ordering more beer (because it was delicious) was impossible; you were simply ignored... And then, when paying, the same drama as when ordering... What a pity for what was actually an expected lovely evening 😕

Very friendly service, one of the ladies (I think she's from Berlin) spoke excellent English, which made a very positive impression on my American companion. Everything was simply fantastic. The service, food, and drinks were all very good. We had the zander and the herring. The Darß beer was also good.

Today we had herring with fried potatoes and schnitzel with fried potatoes, both with salad. The food arrived 5 minutes after ordering, which is suspect. The herring didn't taste quite fresh, the fried potatoes were soft, and the salad was rather dry and lacking in taste. The schnitzel had obviously been warmed up in the microwave. They couldn't have served it fresh even after 5 minutes. Service was nice, but that doesn't make up for the bad food. The two espressos as an apology for the bad food couldn't make up for it. The restaurant is obviously geared towards tourists, who only come once anyway.

A great brewery with excellent food. We've been here several times and the food has always been very good. The atmosphere is also very pleasant. The price/performance ratio is 100 percent right here.

The "Darßer Dunkel" is highly recommended if you don't like it too bitter. We tried the entire menu and are full of praise. The food is always fresh, hot, perfectly seasoned, and tender. From the brewmaster steak to the chops, spare ribs, fish, and dessert, everything is top-notch. The staff is very friendly and you immediately take them to your heart. We visited the Darßer Brauhaus two days ago. It was a truly wonderful restaurant visit. Above all, the staff were all super friendly, relaxed, and very accommodating. We immediately felt at home. Our dogs were also immediately welcome and greeted warmly. There's plenty of space between the tables and they're not crowded together, so our four-legged friends could also take a relaxing nap. The food was absolutely fantastic. The fish dishes and the vegetarian dish we ordered were absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. Everything was freshly prepared. The whole family loved it. The value for money is also top-notch. We're definitely planning another visit. 🙌🏼 Many thanks to the whole team there for the lovely evening 😊

We've practically become regulars and really enjoy the food, the house beer, and the ambiance. Given the influx of tourists and the resulting high volume of complaining guests, we're extremely impressed by the predominantly friendly service. In addition, the booking management is extremely reliable and intelligent. Even last-minute reservation requests are accommodated.

I ate there with six people for my birthday. The food was excellent, and the beer was also excellent. When the bill came, I couldn't believe it. €216 for six meals and 14 large beers, various other drinks, and two desserts. We always enjoy coming here. The service is also very friendly.

We had a perfect meal. My husband had a delicious burger and I had the Brauhaus steak. Both were perfectly cooked. The beer and wine were also excellent.

Everything is top-notch. The food is excellent, the service is super attentive and very friendly, and always in the mood for a joke. The value for money is excellent. The homemade beer 🍺 is a delight even for wine drinkers. This restaurant is an absolute must on the Darß island.

My Brauhaus Spezial cutlet was great, for my taste! I can only recommend the store. We sat outside in the corner of the tent and after two hours it got a bit cold, but we're happy to accept that in December... were there again yesterday and everything was at its best again. My beef fillet strips were on point medium and just great. I enjoyed it again and can only recommend it...

We had made a reservation in the morning as a precaution, as the brewery is always very busy. As a drink I had a house-brewed Hefeweizen, which tasted excellent. When it came to eating, I chose the Brauhaus Spezial. The meat on the chop was so tender that it fell off the bone on its own. The green beans, the garlic mash and the black beer sauce rounded off the taste experience. I would order everything exactly the same again and am already looking forward to the next visit.

We were really annoyed, we bought a bottle of Darsser beer and realized afterwards that it only had a short shelf life. We then wanted to exchange the bottle, but this was not possible because there was nothing available that would last longer. So we would have liked to return the bottle, but that wasn't possible because the gentleman didn't know how to cancel it. Customer-oriented actions are different!! The short date should have been pointed out when purchasing or the beer should have been taken back. We're pissed. We definitely won't eat there.

After we didn't get a place last time, we reserved a place for two online this morning in good time. When we arrived, all tables were reserved. My loved one was really looking forward to the house bock beer, but unfortunately that was out, as was the black beer. The yeast made him “happy” after all. The Brauhaus Spezial came to our table hot. The meat was so tender that you didn't need a knife and it was very tasty. The beans (green and kidney) went very well with it. The mashed potatoes were okay. All in all, I can recommend the Darßer Brauhaus. But next time only when there is bock beer 😊

Personal request the day before - with the information that in the off-season no table reservation is necessary for 2 people. Today on site the waitress tried her best to ignore us. When it was no longer possible to avoid noticing us (there was now another couple standing in the door besides us), we were told that there were no more tables available. At that point, a maximum (!!) of a quarter of the seats were occupied. Even if you take possible reservations into account, it is extremely unlikely that the still plentiful spaces were completely planned (hardly any tourists in town). It's a shame, we regularly vacation here, but we probably won't visit this restaurant again.

Apple strudel was just sweet and flabby. Greetings from the microwave. The ice cream was also reduced in taste. Coffee machine broken, so only pure coffee is possible. ??? Positive: At least the place was heated...

The brewery is modern and comfortably furnished. The colors of the interior harmonize very well with each other. Cleanliness is very important in the guest room as well as in the toilets. The staff is extremely friendly, warm and very attentive. He also takes the time to have a chat with the customers. The dishes are very tasty and prepared with love. The outdoor area is very well warmed in winter and is comfortable to sit there. The beer specialties are amazing, anyone who loves beer will get their money's worth here! There is something for every taste. Once you've visited here, you can hardly wait for your next visit!! Simply highly recommended
