The beef in the far too dry burger died twice. And the potato wedges aren't potatoes at all; they're a croquette-like, deep-fried mass in the shape of wedges...that could be better. The beer, on the other hand, is terrific!

The best restaurant in Prerow. The food is absolutely recommended! The friendliness deserves 100/10! We've been visiting every year for almost 10 years. It's our personal highlight!

After discovering the brewery in January, we naturally returned on this vacation! And what can I say: it was another extremely enjoyable evening! The food was lovingly prepared, delicious, and the price/performance ratio was excellent! The staff are always attentive, very friendly, and always have a friendly saying ready! The working atmosphere is great, making it fun to watch the hustle and bustle of the restaurant while enjoying a home-brewed beer! A visit is highly recommended, and to all the "complainers": if you can do better, please, get in the kitchen, behind the bar, or serve the complaining and unfriendly people yourself☝🏼 WE'D LOVE TO COME BACK!

I was pleased with how quickly everything went. There was hardly any waiting time. The food, beer, and dessert were delicious. The staff were friendly and attentive.

We made a reservation a week in advance and unfortunately still didn't get our preferred dinner time. We ended up ordering at 8 p.m. because everyone was raving about the delicious food. Which is true, by the way, at least what we ordered arrived at the table correctly. Dishes were swapped with the neighboring table, and the staff left side dishes in the kitchen... By the way, waiting 40 minutes for food after an eventful day on the island is a bit tough... But despite that, the staff was very friendly :)

We had lunch there today with four people and two dogs! The food was delicious! Our server was very dog-friendly 🙂 but she was also very nice and humorous to us! ☺️ All in all, it was a very positive experience! We'll be back!

We recently visited this restaurant and would like to share our mixed impressions. Unfortunately, the visit began with a small misunderstanding: Instead of the three menus we ordered, we initially received only two. When we politely asked for the third menu, we were simply given a confused look – without further explanation or apology. The meal itself arrived without cutlery, and when we asked for it, we were again given strange looks – with the unspoken expectation that we should apparently take care of it ourselves. During the entire meal, no one inquired about our well-being or asked if we would like something else to drink. Other tables were served regularly and friendly, while we were largely ignored – even though we were friendly and unobtrusive. Another small detail: There was no indication at the entrance that the wheat beer was sold out. A sign indicating this would have been helpful, especially at the end of the season. But now for the positive: The food absolutely won us over! The food was outstanding, perfectly flavorful, and truly a delight. We'd like to express our sincere appreciation for this – we give the food 5 stars. Thank you very much! Overall, we're left with mixed feelings. We might return for the good food – but only in the hope of better service.

I'm from Düsseldorf. There are quite a few brewery restaurants there. So, the food fell well short of my expectations. The service was just about okay. I don't think we'll eat there again.

Very nice ambiance, friendly staff, and good food, although they only charged €2 less for the "senior plate." Otherwise, everything was nice and warm enough even outside, if you're lucky enough to sit under a patio heater. 👍🏻

A truly wonderful inn in the heart of Prerow. Home-brewed beer 🍺 and exceptional food. The service was excellent, and they were very welcoming to our dog.

The beer is delicious! The food isn't quite as good value for money as it seems. A goulash soup with modest pieces of meat, no potatoes or vegetables, and four slices of baguette for over €17 is incomprehensible. Upon arrival, you're warned that only large tables are available and that they'll add someone else...it's a bit off-putting...

The Darßer Brauhaus promises, as the name suggests, home-brewed beer and food like you'd expect from a brewery. The service initially took me a bit by surprise. I'd barely been given the menu when I was asked what I wanted to drink. There was no time to leisurely browse the menu to see what drinks were on offer. Otherwise, the service was pleasant and friendly. There was plenty of time between the appetizer and main course to let the food sink in. The brewery rump steak was cooked to perfection. The value for money was reasonable for the location and the food on offer. I'd be happy to come back.

We had burgers and roast beef strips. Very tasty. The dark beer is highly recommended. My only criticism: if you're alone, you're assigned to a stranger's table to keep the other tables free.

Never eaten herring so tender, top notch. All the beers were delicious, especially the Indian pale ale.

I treated myself to a Hamburg schnitzel, which tasted average. The portion was much too small for the price. The side salad had only a tiny drop of marinade. The fried potatoes were good, but again, the quantity wasn't right. The beer selection was adequate.

The food was great. However, it's best to make a reservation in advance (including your dog's name so he can come along). This was all done easily via the website. Drinks can be easily reordered at the restaurant using a QR code.

We spontaneously stopped by the brewery today and were not disappointed. The staff was very accommodating, the atmosphere was lovely, and the food was delicious (matjes fillets "homemade style" and the BBQ bacon burger). And it's always a plus when dogs are welcome 👌🏼

Unfortunately, the food didn't live up to our expectations. Warm beets were tasteless, the pike-perch was undercooked and flaky, and the fried potatoes were barely cooked. We went to the brewery again today with our little dog. We highly recommend this restaurant. It's very easy to make reservations by phone. The staff is very friendly and approachable. The food is delicious. We'll be happy to come back because you feel very comfortable here.

The restaurant is very stylish and beautifully decorated, and the service is highly recommended. The zander with baked pumpkin cubes was super, super delicious. The goat cheese was also a dream. The beer is particularly good.

On our last day of vacation, we went here for dinner. The food was delicious and the staff very attentive and friendly.

Sometimes the waitress is the key to success. One day, everything was fine. On our second visit (there's a sign at the entrance saying you'll be seated), the waitress walked past us three times and ignored us. She didn't even say hello. After we spoke to the waitress, she snapped at us and told us to wait a moment. Unfortunately, after several minutes, our patience was overstretched, and we left.

If Google allowed it, I'd give it 10 stars. The 500g pork chop was simply a dream, the best I've ever eaten, fantastic. The beer tasting set was brilliant; I think the ale is the best, followed by the dark beer. But the sea buckthorn spritzer, the wild garlic mash (a little more wild garlic would have been fantastic), the sauce, and the beans were also top-notch. For those who like it. It should have been fried potatoes, coated in oil and firm/hard. The salad was served without any dressing. Everything was a bit undercooked. It looked good, but the taste was unsatisfactory.

The beer is highly recommended. The hamburger schnitzel was very good, but the knuckle of pork was unfortunately tough, the crust wasn't perfect, and the mashed potatoes weren't homemade, more like a convenience store dish.

We only stopped in for a bite to eat and a few drinks, but it was already very good and left us wanting more. The service is excellent, and the outdoor seating is lovely under the awnings. The food is beautifully presented, and the beer from their own brewery is excellent. We'll definitely come back and check out what else is on the menu.

It was okay. There were five of us there, we had reservations, and everything worked out. The food was tasty, but not exactly top-notch. Everyone (unfortunately) had a few criticisms. I had the salmon on pasta with spinach, and for €27, I expected something special. But I can get that salmon for around €6 in a fish sandwich, and pasta with spinach really doesn't cost €21... Sure, it's a restaurant and all... But the dish was simply €7-9 too expensive. It was so small that I ordered a dessert that also overpromised. Both desserts we ordered (dark beer cream and pear mascarpone) were flops. We would have liked to have been asked sooner if we wanted anything else... But overall, it was nice, and we were relatively satisfied.

Quantity over quality. Unfortunately, the schnitzel came from a deep fryer, and the fried potatoes were ready-made from a bag/pack, presumably spiced up... That's a real shame, because for that price, you'd expect something fresh, and it definitely wasn't! The schnitzel was so hard, crispy, and dry; we somehow remembered the quality being better. The side salad was fresh and delicious. The house-brewed beer is great, but we wouldn't eat here again, as the price-performance ratio is absolutely not right for us.

A nice place with good food and good beer. Friendly service. German prices ;-) Good selection of beers, but the taste lacked a wow factor for me. The same goes for the food. The atmosphere isn't anything special, but it seems worth a visit, for example, while cycling through the area.

I waited for over an hour. Next to us were people who waited just 10 minutes and then brought up the sentence: It's very busy today.

Four of us were immediately seated at a free table for lunch on the covered terrace. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The food was exceptionally delicious, of the highest quality, and freshly prepared. It was accompanied by excellent brewery beer. Everything was perfect!

The Darßer Brauhaus is a recommended place for a variety of fine brews and home-style cooking – in a relaxed atmosphere, friendly ambiance, and often with very positive service. The variety of beers brewed in-house is impressive: from classic Pilsner and Dunkel to wheat beer and IPA.

We spent our vacation in Prerow and ate at the brewery one evening. The selection was quite good. The beer tasted excellent. However, the portions were quite small and quite expensive. I had tagliatelle with salmon and creamed spinach. The tagliatelle was still hard in places, so it cracked when I bit into it. The portion of creamed spinach fit on a tablespoon. The salmon, on the other hand, tasted very good. Unfortunately, I wasn't really full, so I ordered dessert. I thought the price was completely reasonable and it tasted very good. There were two of us and we each had a main course, two beers each, and I had dessert. We paid €90. That's a lot. We went out to eat elsewhere the following days.

The food was delicious. The waiters were friendly. The beer was excellent. The Dark IPA was simply delicious. It got a very good review on Untapped. A few days later, I wanted a takeaway because my child had just eaten ice cream and we couldn't sit down. To my surprise, I was refused. Very strange and a shame. I'm still on vacation here for two weeks and would have loved to go again. But not like this.

I'd particularly like to highlight the vegetarian offerings: My wife ordered the veggie burger and was absolutely thrilled – the taste, freshness, and portion size were just right. The absolute highlight for us, however, was the beer. We started with a sampler and were able to try the various home-brewed varieties – from pilsner and wheat beer to dark and IPA. All varieties were top-notch in terms of taste, but the dark beer in particular impressed us. No matter your beer type – you're guaranteed to find something you like and be happy here. In conclusion: A highly recommended place for beer lovers and connoisseurs of good food. We'll definitely be back!

We're absolutely thrilled! We've been here three times in a week and enjoyed every meal. The tagliatelle with vegetables, hamburger schnitzel, herring, the cutlet (it deserves an extra star 🤤), and the burger were all delicious. The service and atmosphere are excellent. Thumbs up 👍🏼 If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely stop by again 😊. We managed to get a table every time after a few minutes of waiting.

The food was good, but unfortunately not quite hot and at the high end of the price range. The roast beef was unfortunately a fillet that was overcooked: dry, well-done, and bitter. When we complained, the waiter simply shrugged. Child-friendly, unfortunately very crowded, and only one table left, right on the street, with the village's main intersection right next door. Luckily, we know of some alternatives.

I know few restaurants where I know that everything on the menu is a good choice. The offerings are varied and very tasty. And the service is always really good! Don't forget to pick up a bottle of the house-brewed beer!

Very tasty food and large portions. Even though we didn't have a reservation, they found a table for us. The service was quick and courteous. Changes were easily accommodated and even discussed. The wait time was reasonable. The food was very tasty. While not cheap, it was still reasonable. The outdoor area was covered and protected from the wind by a tarpaulin. There are also patio heaters. The restaurant is on the ground floor, but there are no accessible restrooms. The restrooms were clean, albeit a bit cramped.

Excellent (white) beer, excellent food. Three of us were here, and each of us had an excellent meal!!! This restaurant was absolutely worth the 1,300-kilometer journey... Addendum: Don't forget the thyme liqueur! 😉

We just wanted to drink beer and were seated accordingly. During the beer tasting, the staff couldn't tell us with any certainty which beer was in which seat. Even changing seats from outside to inside wasn't easy. Even the question about the IBU was already too much. Not a pleasant evening :-(

The food and drinks at the brewery are really good and highly recommended. What I didn't like was that guests who didn't want to eat were asked to leave. This happened to both sides of our table, and it's quite frustrating. Of course, it's understandable that the brewery needs revenue from food, as they have a large staff to ensure fast service. It would be advisable for the restaurant to place a sign at the entrance politely stating that seating is only available if you're eating. This way, guests are told the truth, and there are no surprises.

We were in Prerow last October and wanted to eat at the brewery. Unfortunately, when we entered the place we were ignored. When my friend then spoke to a member of staff and wanted to book a table for the following day he was rudely told that he could see that it was very busy and that there was no time for something like that. We should come back later and try again. We should note that only 2-3 tables were occupied and it wasn't very busy... (I trained in the catering industry myself and they always took time for the guests). It's a shame but we decided against it... perhaps we should have read the reviews back then to see that other guests had been treated like this. Like other guests, we decided to eat at the Italian restaurant around the corner - we can highly recommend it.

We chose this restaurant to end our vacation. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive. Our waitress (from Berlin) was fantastic; you'll definitely have to keep her warm. Everything went very quickly, even though it was already quite busy. The food came quickly, with generous portions and excellent taste. Dear Brauhaus team, dear internet community, Unfortunately, I can't fully agree with the many positive reviews here. However, I would like to start with the positive aspects of our visit. We were impressed by the tastefully and invitingly decorated dining room, as well as the delicious home-brewed beers. The pork knuckle I chose was also impressive. Unfortunately, these are the only notable, satisfactory aspects of our stay. What didn't go so well? Even when making the reservation, the young waitress greeted me rather coldly. I was repeatedly told that if I wanted to reserve a table inside, I would have to sit there. Despite my understanding, this statement was repeated at least four times. Only when I emphatically assured the lady, somewhat annoyed, that I had certainly understood the first time, was a proper conversation about the reservation possible. I left the restaurant somewhat incredulous about what I had experienced, but still with a certain anticipation of the planned visit. On the evening of the reservation, we were greeted quite warmly by an older colleague and escorted to our seats. Our server was then the young colleague I had already met during the reservation. We couldn't expect a greeting from her; she simply took our order without comment. The drinks arrived quite quickly, closely followed by the food. Quite positive. As already mentioned, the beer and the knuckle of pork met my expectations, but the Hamburger Schnitzel was a different story. Unfortunately, it gave the impression of a frozen product (discount store level), which is anything but appropriate for the price charged. When we then confronted the young colleague about it, she initially confirmed my assumption, but what followed was almost a disgrace to us. We were asked what exactly the problem was. I then explained to her that it wasn't what one would expect in such a place, but that a frozen schnitzel from the deep fryer was more suited to a snack bar. Instead of apologizing for the inconvenience or something similar, my colleague tried to wiggle out of the situation by explaining to us that, contrary to what she had confirmed, it wasn't frozen food, but rather something prepared entirely in-house. We left it at that, speechless and feeling like we were being made fools of. After this conversation, we weren't served again. (Critical ability = 0?) I ultimately had to ask for the bill myself at the counter. It should also be mentioned that some guests at neighboring tables were also treated quite snippy by the same waitress. In conclusion, we are very disappointed with our visit to Brauhaus Prerow; we really expected more. We're happy to overlook minor discrepancies; we're only human, and everyone has bad days, but we've never experienced anything like this before. Nevertheless, we wish the brewery team all the best and remain with kind regards.

Ultra-fast, super friendly service and delicious, fresh food. The food arrived lightning fast; the homemade herring was fantastic, and the homemade remoulade was especially delicious. The staff is super friendly and on the ball; we felt very comfortable here and the food was delicious.

I had salmon fillet cooked in foil on tagliatelle with creamed spinach. The salmon fillet was good, but the tagliatelle was so dry that the top pieces were almost hard. When I asked, quite politely, if I could have some sauce for my pasta, I was told, "That's how it's supposed to be; they don't offer any extra sauce." What a disgrace for €27.50!

The home-brewed beer is delicious, but the food wasn't as good as expected... But I don't have a problem with that... The service was worse... Ordering was only possible after more than half an hour, ordering more beer (because it was delicious) was impossible; you were simply ignored... And then, when paying, the same drama as when ordering... What a pity for what was actually an expected lovely evening 😕
