THAT was service! THAT was delicious! THAT was beer! THAT is love! THAT is GASTRONOMY!

We've been coming to the Brauhaus for years and always enjoy it. This time, we went for the first time on New Year's Eve and New Year's Day, and we were almost completely satisfied. The steak was great, but the Brauhaus goulash wasn't up to par this time. I've had it better before, though. It was a shame that we didn't get any feedback despite mentioning it. We'll still gladly come back, it must have been a one-off. New Year's Eve and New Year's Day were very busy, but everyone was incredibly nice and friendly. Yes, with that many customers, it's understandable that service can take a little longer. I worked in the service industry myself for many years, and the team did a fantastic job. The menu features classic brewery fare. We ordered four different dishes: fish, burgers, schnitzel (unfortunately not fully cooked), and strips of roast beef, all of which were very good and generous portions. The ingredients were of excellent quality. The pasta from the children's menu was also very good and nicely presented. The beer is delicious and I highly recommend it. The service was very friendly and entertaining, which made up for the long wait in the kitchen. I even found it cozier in the pavilion than inside; and it was pleasantly warm in December.

We made a reservation for 5:30 pm this evening and ordered our food at 5:40 pm. An hour later, we received lukewarm food. My advice: this restaurant is not suitable for dinner.

The ambiance was lovely. Unfortunately, the waiters were very taciturn and not very attentive. We had to ask for cutlery several times. My food was burnt, and the second portion they offered wasn't any better—it still tasted burnt and was only lukewarm. Aside from a hesitant, quiet apology, there was no attempt to make amends. The staff seemed overwhelmed and not customer-oriented. I wouldn't go there again.

The food and beer were excellent. Unfortunately, the very expensive basic espresso (€3.40!!!) was only lukewarm and otherwise very weak. Water is exorbitantly expensive! A mere 0.2 ml poured from the tap costs €2.60!!! That's where the patience of a ripped-off tourist quickly runs out!

We've arrived at the brewery right at the beginning. The beer is delicious and the food is tasty too. Even in the off-season, the service is friendly. We always enjoy coming back. It would be nice if the terrace could stay open later. 👍🏻

We got a table at the brewery in the evening, even without a reservation. The decor is very nice and cozy. Of the two female servers, the younger one was a bit too snappy for our liking. One shouldn't talk about guests in front of them. The Darßer Dunkel beer we had chosen was unfortunately sold out, and we had to switch to another. At the bar, it was clear that several other beers were already unavailable – and this in a brewery! We had to wait quite a while for our food, even though it wasn't busy on Monday. The goat cheese burger was okay. The wedges we ordered on the side were tiny and obviously frozen (they tasted similar to croquettes), and the dollop of herbed quark served with them was far too small. Overall, the vegetarian burger was very dry. The mustard salad dressing is a matter of taste. The ribs were a huge disappointment; they were so dry and tough that they were almost impossible to cut with your hands. Normally, good spare ribs practically fall off the bone. The staff had to be reminded about the accompanying bread. The bread, however, was nothing special and certainly not worth recommending. Hiding the mushrooms under the spare ribs is a bad idea; it would be better to serve the dish on a larger plate. That would be more convenient and easier for the customer to see. In conclusion: The price-performance ratio at Darßer Brauhaus was not right for us – not much good food for a lot of money.

We arrived for dinner without a reservation and were greeted by a somewhat bewildered-looking young man. Nevertheless, we were given a table with the explanation that additional people might be able to join us. This was absolutely no problem for us, and five minutes later, we were seated. We had a very pleasant conversation 😉 The service was quick, friendly, and attentive. The food took a little while to arrive, but given the number of people, this was perfectly acceptable. I had the salmon – absolutely delicious! The pasta with spinach was a bit unremarkable, but there were seasonings available on the table. My mother had the goulash soup – amazing! It was very rich and incredibly flavorful. I was a little annoyed that I was only allowed to sample it, but my portion was still very filling. The price-performance ratio was excellent! ... Since we were having such a good time chatting with our "table friends", the waitress thought we belonged together and tried to "sneak" the whole bill onto us - we had a good laugh and will certainly go to the brewery again!

The online reservation process was seamless. The restaurant itself is fantastic. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The pork knuckle is the best I've ever had outside of Bavaria. And that's saying something. So, if I want to go back, you should probably plan something else. Because tables are scarce... Oh, and the appetizer with the gratinated goat cheese was my wife's culinary highlight of 2025!

We've been coming to Prerow at least once a year for the past nine years and always eat at the Brauhaus. Unfortunately, we didn't enjoy it quite as much this year. It's quite obvious they're focusing on quantity. It's a shame, really. The food arrives very quickly, which some might appreciate, but it means everything is practically pre-cooked, and therefore the flavor suffers considerably. The demand is undoubtedly very high, which is why they offer a table every 1.5 hours on one particular evening. It's become a purely touristy spot.

A really lovely restaurant with a truly cozy charm! The service was fantastic. Super funny, warm, and with just the right amount of dry humor. It made the food taste twice as good! We had the spare ribs and the Hamburg schnitzel, both incredibly delicious, perfectly seasoned, and with really generous portions. Everything here is just right: the atmosphere, the service, and the food. We'll definitely be back and hope the staff will be back to create such a great atmosphere!

Yesterday, after our late arrival in Wieck, we went to the Brauhaus for dinner. We hadn't made a reservation and received a wonderful welcome. The ambiance, service, and menu selection were all top-notch. A big thank you to the kitchen staff, especially for their flexibility with our dessert request. In a half-empty restaurant, the first server told me I could choose my own table, while the second one reprimanded me. That was actually a reason to leave on my birthday. The older lady served us wonderfully.

We visited this restaurant twice during our holiday in Prerow, and both times we were absolutely delighted. Besides the perfect food and the wonderful atmosphere, we loved the cheerful staff. If we ever holiday in the area again, we'll definitely come back.

The service was super friendly and attentive, the beers were delicious (the four-beer tasting is highly recommended), and the food was also very tasty. The portion sizes and value for money were just right. We also bought some beer to take away. We'd gladly go again.

A lovely, cozy, heated outdoor area, delicious beer. We wanted to call and reserve for 5:30 p.m.... They told us tables wouldn't be available until 7:15 p.m. When we walked by at 5 p.m., almost everything was empty, and we got a table. Unfortunately, the food left a lot to be desired... there were five pieces of meat floating in the brewmaster pot (a hearty goulash soup)—not worth €18.... A shame.

Six of us visited the brewery to round off a successful vacation. The atmosphere is cozy, and the service was friendly. After our drinks, we ordered our meals, including an appetizer. These arrived promptly and were both tasty and generous in portion size. However, we had to wait an extra 70 minutes for the main courses we had ordered beforehand, and only received them after actively asking the staff. The guests who had arrived after us were almost finished with their main courses. Between our order and the serving of our meals, we had to go to the waiter ourselves to order more drinks. Unfortunately, no one proactively came to the table to ask for them. We're used to it differently. The food itself was average with a few shortcomings. The burger patties were very well cooked and therefore a bit dry, the Brauhaus special had very little dark beer sauce, and the goulash topping in the dark beer pot was very light, so the value for money wasn't right for us. On the plus side, the beer was good. We enjoyed both the Darßer Pils and the wheat beer.

We visited this restaurant two years ago and returned again on our vacation this year. Unfortunately, we were a bit disappointed. The patio heaters weren't on, even though it was busy and cool outside. Drinks were swapped. The outdoor plants were neglected. The food wasn't as good as it was two years ago. The taste was bland. I didn't tip, so the waiter complained loudly to his colleagues as I went back to the kitchen. Very unprofessional.

It's not mine. I wanted a goat cheese, but instead I got half a cheese! They said it was just a portion. Who decides that? Even when paying by card, they immediately claimed our card was defective. We're disappointed.

The beef in the far too dry burger was twice overcooked. And the potato wedges aren't potatoes at all; they're a croquette-like, deep-fried mass in the shape of wedges...that could be better. The beer, on the other hand, is terrific!

After discovering the brewery in January, we naturally returned on this vacation! And what can I say: it was another extremely enjoyable evening! The food was lovingly prepared, delicious, and the price/performance ratio was excellent! The staff are always attentive, very friendly, and always have a friendly saying ready! The working atmosphere is great, making it fun to watch the hustle and bustle of the restaurant while enjoying a home-brewed beer! A visit is highly recommended, and to all the "complainers": if you can do better, please, get in the kitchen, behind the bar, or serve the complaining and unfriendly people yourself☝🏼 WE'D LOVE TO COME BACK!

We made a reservation a week in advance and unfortunately still didn't get our preferred dinner time. We ended up ordering at 8 p.m. because everyone was raving about the delicious food. Which is true, by the way, at least what we ordered arrived at the table correctly. Dishes were swapped with the neighboring table, and the staff left side dishes in the kitchen... By the way, waiting 40 minutes for food after an eventful day on the island is a bit tough... But despite that, the staff was very friendly :)

I'm from Düsseldorf. There are quite a few brewery restaurants there. So, the food fell well short of my expectations. The service was just about okay. I don't think we'll eat there again.

We recently visited this restaurant and would like to share our mixed impressions. Unfortunately, the visit began with a small misunderstanding: Instead of the three menus we ordered, we initially received only two. When we politely asked for the third menu, we were simply given a confused look – without further explanation or apology. The meal itself arrived without cutlery, and when we asked for it, we were again given strange looks – with the unspoken expectation that we should apparently take care of it ourselves. During the entire meal, no one inquired about our well-being or asked if we would like something else to drink. Other tables were served regularly and friendly, while we were largely ignored – even though we were friendly and unobtrusive. Another small detail: There was no indication at the entrance that the wheat beer was sold out. A sign indicating this would have been helpful, especially at the end of the season. But now for the positive: The food absolutely won us over! The food was outstanding, perfectly flavorful, and truly a delight. We'd like to express our sincere appreciation for this – we give the food 5 stars. Thank you very much! Overall, we're left with mixed feelings. We might return for the good food – but only in the hope of better service.

The Darßer Brauhaus promises, as the name suggests, home-brewed beer and food like you'd expect from a brewery. The service initially took me a bit by surprise. I'd barely been given the menu when I was asked what I wanted to drink. There was no time to leisurely browse the menu to see what drinks were on offer. Otherwise, the service was pleasant and friendly. There was plenty of time between the appetizer and main course to let the food sink in. The brewery rump steak was cooked to perfection. The value for money was reasonable for the location and the food on offer. I'd be happy to come back.

The beer is delicious! The food isn't quite as good value for money as it seems. A goulash soup with modest pieces of meat, no potatoes or vegetables, and four slices of baguette for over €17 is incomprehensible. Upon arrival, you're warned that only large tables are available and that they'll add someone else...it's a bit off-putting...

We had burgers and roast beef strips. Very tasty. The dark beer is highly recommended. My only criticism: if you're alone, you're assigned to a stranger's table to keep the other tables free.

Never eaten herring so tender, top notch. All the beers were delicious, especially the Indian pale ale.

I treated myself to a Hamburg schnitzel, which tasted average. The portion was much too small for the price. The side salad had only a tiny drop of marinade. The fried potatoes were good, but again, the quantity wasn't right. The beer selection was adequate.

The hamburger schnitzel was very good in terms of meat quality, but unfortunately, it was served moderately warm. The side salad had too little dressing, and the lettuce was wilted, as if it had been left over from lunch. I definitely won't be back.

Unfortunately, the food didn't live up to our expectations. Warm beets were tasteless, the pike-perch was undercooked and flaky, and the fried potatoes were barely cooked. The restaurant is very stylish and beautifully decorated, and the service is highly recommended. The zander with baked pumpkin cubes was super, super delicious. The goat cheese was also a dream. The beer is particularly good.

Sometimes the waitress is the key to success. One day, everything was fine. On our second visit (there's a sign at the entrance saying you'll be seated), the waitress walked past us three times and ignored us. She didn't even say hello. After we spoke to the waitress, she snapped at us and told us to wait a moment. Unfortunately, after several minutes, our patience was overstretched, and we left.

If Google allowed it, I'd give it 10 stars. The 500g pork chop was simply a dream, the best I've ever eaten, fantastic. The beer tasting set was brilliant; I think the ale is the best, followed by the dark beer. But the sea buckthorn spritzer, the wild garlic mash (a little more wild garlic would have been fantastic), the sauce, and the beans were also top-notch. For those who like it. It should have been fried potatoes, coated in oil and firm/hard. The salad was served without any dressing. Everything was a bit undercooked. It looked good, but the taste was unsatisfactory.

The beer is highly recommended. The hamburger schnitzel was very good, but the knuckle of pork was unfortunately tough, the crust wasn't perfect, and the mashed potatoes weren't homemade, more like a convenience store dish.

We only stopped in for a bite to eat and a few drinks, but it was already very good and left us wanting more. The service is excellent, and the outdoor seating is lovely under the awnings. The food is beautifully presented, and the beer from their own brewery is excellent. We'll definitely come back and check out what else is on the menu.

It was okay. There were five of us there, we had reservations, and everything worked out. The food was tasty, but not exactly top-notch. Everyone (unfortunately) had a few criticisms. I had the salmon on pasta with spinach, and for €27, I expected something special. But I can get that salmon for around €6 in a fish sandwich, and pasta with spinach really doesn't cost €21... Sure, it's a restaurant and all... But the dish was simply €7-9 too expensive. It was so small that I ordered a dessert that also overpromised. Both desserts we ordered (dark beer cream and pear mascarpone) were flops. We would have liked to have been asked sooner if we wanted anything else... But overall, it was nice, and we were relatively satisfied.

Quantity over quality. Unfortunately, the schnitzel came from a deep fryer, and the fried potatoes were ready-made from a bag/pack, presumably spiced up... That's a real shame, because for that price, you'd expect something fresh, and it definitely wasn't! The schnitzel was so hard, crispy, and dry; we somehow remembered the quality being better. The side salad was fresh and delicious. The house-brewed beer is great, but we wouldn't eat here again, as the price-performance ratio is absolutely not right for us.
