We had a really nice day today. Great service, and the food was top-notch value for money.

Beautifully situated on the Elbe at the Blaues Wunder (Blue Wonder)...

Pleasant and good atmosphere. Prices are higher than usual, but the dishes are delicious. Perhaps too much sauce on the burgers, which can be overwhelming.

A visit is worthwhile both inside and out. The beer garden is well-attended in good weather, and the beer is delicious, too.

The food in the beer garden is very good. The pork knuckle is especially recommended.

I relaxed in the beer garden. It's a lovely spot on the Elbe River with a view of the Elbe and the Blue Wonder Bridge. If you'd like something to eat and drink, you can grab something from the grill or the bar.

We got to the beer garden early and got the best seats with the best view of the Elbe and the Blue Wonder Bridge. The bar staff could have been friendlier. That really bothered me.

The food was very good, and the location at the Blaues Wunder is certainly worth seeing. The service was friendly, but more attentiveness would have been welcome. Regarding refills for drinks or dessert, I would have preferred a proactive request rather than repeated requests. This was despite the fact that we were seated on the main walkway leading to the outdoor terrace.

Lively setting, with views of the bridge and the Elbe. Typical hearty, German food and beer. Service and atmosphere, fantastic. Our large group had a great time here.

This beer garden has a great atmosphere and the food and beer are both delicious and fun. I had the veal schnitzel, which was very filling and delicious. I'd definitely like to go again if I visit Dresden in the summer.

I can enthusiastically recommend it to everyone. It's a short break, full of wonderful impressions. Sitting on the Elbe, watching steamers pass by, with a fantastic view of the Blue Wonder. It's definitely worth a stop.

Situated in a beautiful location directly on the Blue Wonder River, with a stunning view of the Elbe. The food is down-to-earth and extremely delicious, and the beer garden exudes genuine traditional charm. The staff is friendly and professional—truly a classic that shouldn't be missed.

By bike, and of course with my Steffi, we had our first (planned) break at the beautiful Schiller Garden. After my Steffi had to move the bikes for her absolute safety, she too arrived on this wonderful terrace after 10 minutes. In beautiful weather, we sat with a clear view of the Elbe, right next to the Blue Wonder. Let's get to the food! We had a roulade with red cabbage and dumplings. Everything here is homemade, and it tastes just as fantastic. The team is very authentically friendly; I was even asked if I wanted some sauce... actually, yes, but I'm already too fat! Inside and out, everything is lovingly and high-quality crafted, with a classic style. I found the restroom particularly striking and detailed. Thanks to the entire team!❤️😘

The SchillerGarten in Dresden is simply a wonderful place to relax. 🍻 You can sit comfortably in the beer garden, order your drinks right at the pavilion, and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere. The food selection is diverse—from hearty classics to light snacks—and the prices are absolutely fair. Perfect for a relaxed evening with friends or a little escape in the heart of the city.

We went to SchillerGarten and ordered a cheese platter and roast pork. Overall, everything was good: decent portions, simple flavors. The real highlight is the view of the river and the relaxing atmosphere, perfect for a quiet break. Very busy on weekends!

The Schillergarten is highly recommended! The menu is clear and varied, and the day/season ticket also offers several alternatives. Our visit was very enjoyable.

A very nice beer garden located directly on the Elbe River, practically beneath the Blue Wonder (Blue Wonder) monument. Everything is self-service, and even though it was quite busy, we didn't have to wait long for either drinks or food. The food selection was quite extensive for a beer garden, with good portions and fair prices. The staff were consistently very friendly and helpful. The fact that the service only gets 2 stars is because everything was self-service; otherwise, it gets 5 out of 5. Highly recommended; we'd be happy to come back on our next trip to Dresden.

This is a pretty biergarten. Not too crowded on a Saturday. You'll need reservations if you want to sit in the bistro section and eat something other than roast bratwurst/soup.

A beer garden like you'd only dream of. Friendly staff, good service, and an excellent view of the Elbe and the Blue Wonder Bridge. A perfect photo spot for tourists. A great place for a little break.

The ambiance is just what I like: down-to-earth and, as far as the outdoor area goes, in a beautiful setting (see attached video). The shop is large, but the service is still prompt and friendly. The food is good and typical of the region. The prices are fair, and it's a pleasant place to spend time. We'll definitely be back!

It's a great place to eat or have a drink. The portions are generous and the service is fast, except for what seemed to be the envargadillo, which was very condescending. Everything else was great.

We were invited to my parents' birthday party last night and would like to take this opportunity to thank you for the lovely evening. It was simply perfect. A tablecloth, cloth napkins, and a very well-trained and attentive restaurant professional served us (Janina or something similar was her name). The varied food was served together for all 10 guests and was delicious. A big compliment to the kitchen as well. Thank you for the lovely summer evening on your restaurant terrace. Like a dream, exceptionally good food. The service is also excellent. Right on the Elbe, with the Blue Wonder Bridge and the passing steamers, a true symbol of Dresden.

Very delicious food, the server was very nice and attentive. There were five of us, and everyone enjoyed their meal. I personally had the knuckle of pork and a solyanka. Perfect place, plenty of space.

If you visit Dresden you should definitely visit this lovely restaurant/ café/ Beergarden. Located a bit outside of the city center this place has a rich history of since 1730 especially with the famous Poet Schiller being a regular. Service was immaculate. View was amazing right next to the blue wonder bridge and next to the Elbe river. Food was delicious and diverse in German kitchen. If you want to have a seat with the best view you might consider reserving first but I went to lunch time and there were plenty seat available.

The prices are a bit steep in some places, but they're okay by Dresden standards. The location is truly special.

This review is from around 2021. Nice restaurant, but currently only a few food stalls are open outside, and there are no chairs available. Beautiful view of the Loschwitz slopes. Update July 2025: I was in the beer garden today; the view of the Loschwitz slopes is very beautiful. But I've lost the food and drink. The table and chairs are dirty; the table is really disgusting. The tables and chairs in the beer garden should also be wiped down!!!!!! Unfortunately, there's nothing here to post the pictures in.

It was our first time there and luckily we got a table outside for lunch. It was raining, but the terrace was covered. There were still plenty of seats inside. Unfortunately, the waiters didn't all speak German very well and unfortunately, they took our drink orders incorrectly. The food and drink selection is very extensive and arrived quickly. We had an Alpine burger, salad, and a Strammer Max. Everything tasted very good. There was a bit of water on the floor in the men's restroom. We'd be happy to come back.

I've been coming here for many years, whenever I'm in Dresden. With a view of the Elbe and the "Blue Wonder" directly in front of me, you can sit in the beer garden and enjoy the atmosphere. It's sometimes very crowded, but that's part of being in a beer garden.

Wow! Great staff and great food. I'm surprised how good the restaurant industry can still be. I haven't laughed so much with service staff in a long time. Authentic shop with good food and great staff. ❤️

Been there for years and it was the last time... dried out meatballs for 4.50€... bread rolls and ketchup have to be paid extra... mustard is available for free, but not ketchup... never again

We were there for the winter/Christmas market. There wasn't much food for vegetarians. The raclette wasn't warm enough, so the lady couldn't scrape enough cheese. Not much cheese on the bread. The mulled wine is great. Not too sweet. The atmosphere is always great there.

I'm always happy to come back. Fantastic food, a huge selection, highly trained and incredibly friendly staff, and a beautiful location by the Blaues Wunder (Blue Wonder). The interior is beautifully decorated, and the outdoor area is fantastic and very spacious. You can stop by here any time of year. I absolutely love it here.

Sweet potato fries were fried twice, and in old fryer oil, no less. I vomited several times afterward.

It was very tasty, I can especially recommend the fried bread.

There's a super-authentic beer garden here with large chestnut trees and a great view of the Blue Wonder! A dream! The beer tastes good and the service is friendly and attentive. What has, in my opinion, significantly deteriorated in recent years is the quality and freshness of the food – but I'm only referring to the food in the beer garden, not the restaurant! The food for the beer garden is kept warm for a long time, and I haven't found it particularly good the last few times. Yesterday I had white sausages, and they were totally "flat." The pickle was huge, but the taste was disappointing. Other things are okay, but somehow not as tasty as they used to be...

A great beer garden located on the Elbe River; if you're lucky, you'll get a table with a direct view. The food selection is quite good; we had knuckle of pork with sauerkraut (crispy knuckle, tender meat, and delicious sauerkraut) and potato wedges with quark (a huge portion of quark!!). The ice cream at the ice cream stand was also delicious; the scoops were very large.

After a long walk along the Elbe, it's an ideal place to stop for a Radler, Sprite and fries.

The Schillergarten is an institution in Dresden, and I'm grateful it exists. The menu is extensive, good, and reasonably priced. The location is ideal for a quick detour from the weekly market or a quick stop while cycling along the beautiful Elbe. However, service is at least as important as quality and value for money. It's unsatisfactory that at 11:31 a.m. you're not able to say "Please, thank you, good morning," or any other kind of greeting to your guests. Being a host begins with the heart. It's a shame—I think, no, I know that restaurateurs have different standards, but leadership begins at the grassroots level. What have your experiences been?

A really nice restaurant in a beautiful area and in top condition. The service was also very friendly and attentive. The biggest drawback, however, is the use of convenience products, especially in higher-priced dishes like the veal schnitzel or the side of fries. While I understand the use of such products, I was a bit disappointed.

The food, the service, everything is fantastic. Even when it's raining and the place is packed, you don't have to wait long for your food. The Schiller Garden is always a highlight.

Beautiful location, magnificent view over the Elbe. Easily accessible by bike or public transport. Parking is difficult.
