The service is friendly and fast. The coffee is excellent. However, the music is too loud. I recommend using a better-distributed sound system with quieter music to better complement the elegant and minimalist decor of the place and create more peace and comfort.

My favorite café in Dresden. Great coffee—even decaf. Very friendly service and a relaxed atmosphere. Great selection of food and always delicious cakes.

I visited Café Aha a long time ago. I lived in Dresden for three months in 2003, and it was a must-visit. I like Darjeeling tea and Kilimanjaro tea the best. Don't forget, the World Shop is the perfect place to find the perfect gift.

Nice, quiet place for breakfast with delicious coffee! There is gluten-free bread, but I didn't really like the shakshuka... the vegetables were a bit raw, although maybe that's how it should be.

During my photo tour of Dresden, I enjoyed two delicious "Speci" taste-alikes on the terrace along the pedestrian street. Great location, friendly and helpful service, and a fair price. Recommended, although I'm only aware of what I drank.

The food was delicious, but I find it very expensive for the small portions you get. I wouldn't come here again. It's not worth the money to me. I'm not a cheapskate, but I don't think it's justified here. The service was super friendly and accommodating.

A very nice, small but fine restaurant. Worth a visit. With a small world shop in the basement. Very friendly staff. They cater to any allergies.

A bit of constructive criticism, but still 5 stars because I love the concept ;) Unfortunately, the Wi-Fi didn't work, and the power outlets were also poor, so it's not great for co-working. The atmosphere is a bit dark if you go to the back area (upstairs and downstairs)... maybe some cute lamps? Plenty of space, though! I love the food :)

Lentil soup was good, just kinda sweet and very salty. Coffee was 3.5/5, kinda sweet. The service was great!

Location in front of the church. Was choir here, then the musicians. The food is great. Took spinach-something, my friend took big salad. Rotbier was good, too. Beautiful waitress. The only advice is to improve ventilation, was a bit hot there.

Cosy laid back vibe, delicious food and also important friendly welcoming staff whether you are just visiting the city or not. I was looking for clean, not so heavy food and found this wonderful place about 5-8 mins walk from the Zwinger Palace . It’s away from the main touristic crowds and you can just sit and enjoy the outdoor or indoor atmosphere ! It’s vegetarian / Vegan mainly but does have a good breakfast of cheese and cold cuts too for those that fancy this . Cute store in the basement with good alternative gifts and some sustainably and regionally sourced foods . Love their shashuka and tried their Guarana coffee alternative . Their iced tea variations are good too. A homey neighbourhood vibe. Definately be back

Addendum: 2 years later we were there again (we are not from Dresden ;-)) and were thrilled again. This time we had spaghetti Bolognese and stuffed corn flatbread - everything was great! --- We were really tired after a tiring morning in Dresden city center and urgently wanted something to eat. Google recommended an Italian restaurant to us, but we happened to see this place on the way there - and we ended up loving it. My wife ordered a quiche with chard and goat cheese, I had a spinach lasagna. Both dishes were excellent! Fresh, high quality ingredients, very tasty. The muffins and sorbet for dessert were also very good. I'm a little conflicted about coffee. I like milder coffee, but it's really a matter of taste, the quality of my strong espresso was absolutely fine. The atmosphere was very relaxed, the service was very friendly and absolutely professional. The price-performance ratio is great. All in all, a great experience and actually a pearl in Dresden that I am happy to give a well-deserved 5 stars to. Thank you and best regards from Munich

Very nice place, atmosphere and great ladies serving. And a big plus is the English menu, staff who also speak English, and payment by card. Rarely found in the eastern part of Germany, which is a problem because you usually don't carry cash, you pay by card everywhere... so when going to this part, it's worth taking this into account to have cash. Large selection of food. We were just having dessert. Homemade cookies are very good, delicate and pleasant to eat. Moroccan tea is also very good. We recommend visiting and trying it ☺️😋👏

A very nice cafe, with vegan and non-vegan food (breakfast and main courses). The waitresses are very friendly, the prices are moderate and the atmosphere is cozy. The attached one-world store completes the overall picture very nicely. A beautiful, cosmopolitan place where left-wing and queer people can also feel comfortable.

It's worth taking a look here, it has a homely atmosphere, without unnecessary hustle and bustle.

On Saturday evening we discovered this small, magical café (restaurant) in the old town of Dresden. We are totally thrilled. There is a lot to see, discover and read there. The best thing, however, was the friendly staff who advised us and served both delicious wines and delicious food. After years there was once again a sausage meat and a lentil stew. Both naturally vegetarian and super tasty. The portions were also quite large. Just like this wonderful little restaurant!

Nice little hip place. It was crowded when we were there. The coffee and the cake were actually okay. The service was less welcoming and very busy. It made us feel a little unwelcome. As if we were there for them and not the other way around. And it is the service in particular that we go to a restaurant for. We can make the food much better and cheaper at home.

I'm not a vegan, but I shared the vegan breakfast with my partner... it was very tasty and more than enough... first stop for breakfast in the old town...

We were there on a Saturday lunchtime. Quite busy, there happened to be a free table. Small area but well used and still not cramped. Prices are a little higher, but you can see and taste that in the quality of the food.

The restaurant offers a great selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes. The pumpkin soup as a starter was really tasty, but unfortunately our two main courses didn't impress us in terms of taste - maybe we just chose the wrong dishes. The service was friendly and it was very busy on Sunday lunchtime. We were lucky to get a spot, so a reservation is probably advisable. Overall, we had mixed impressions, but the offering is definitely interesting for vegetarians and vegans.

Great restaurant with a children's play area, I think the concept is good and the quality of the products is great! I can only recommend it, the price is a little higher, but you get good products!

A good place to go and have a snack was on Sunday around 11 pm, it is better to reserve places in advance. The staff is pleasant and speaks English. I took potato soup with sausages and tea; one serving was enough to fill me up.

The first thing I have to say is that the atmosphere is very inviting. The quiet music and the atmosphere relaxes you a lot (not as hectic as in some other restaurants) I also really like the selection of food and especially the presentation.

We were here for breakfast and found a place even without a reservation. The service was very friendly and the vegan breakfast was delicious (including vegan Camembert!). Highlight: there is a 10% student discount.

We stopped here for a drink yesterday. It's great that you can choose oat milk and vegan cream! :) Unfortunately, the facility didn't appeal to us that much. Still comfortable to warm up.

After a strenuous day of arrival, I was just walking alone through the city center in the evening - hoping that something would appeal to me. And I was already (somewhat disappointed) on the way home - when I happened to pass by the aha - it immediately appealed to me (but of course it has the right “world shop” vibe in terms of the ambience). The service was great and really super nice. I really have to highlight the food though. I actually just wanted a little something - but then I let the vegan “Stroganoff” catch me. And I'm very happy - it was really the best meal I've had in a restaurant in a long time! (I hope you can tell from my review - I'm simply thrilled! :) )

Toll gelegen gleich neben Altmarkt und Kirche. Drinnen und draußen kann man gut sitzen. Bedienung immer freundlich. Wir gehen oft in dieses Lokal. Männertoilette versteckt im Keller. Diese könnte sauberer sein. Das Lohmener Kellerbier schmeckt sehr gut. Die Spinatlasagne ist immer eine gute Wahl. Leider ist die "Foccacia" keine als solche. Ein dickes Toastbrot wäre das eher. Das vegane Eis hat Suchtpotential. Gerne wieder.

We went for coffee as a small group. The service was very bad. It felt like the waiter came to the table twice. Once to take the order and once to bring everything, after that nothing happened. We sat in the café for about 3 hours and would have liked to have had something to drink or eat, but unfortunately no one came. We then had to go to the counter to pay because, as I said, the waiter was never seen again. Unfortunately, I personally cannot recommend the café due to the really poor service. Because as other visitors have already said, the coffee is not exactly cheap, so you really expect more.

Atmosphere is fine. But the waitress was not kind at all and while giving us the bill she asked us to give her tips three times - that I consider rude and not kind. I always try to tip personnel when I’m satisfied with food and staff but not this time !

A very great selection of healthy and rich vegan (and non-vegan) dishes. Service was very nice and the location was great too. It's not cheap here, but you can taste it, it was really delicious. I can fully recommend it :)

Had a small breakfast here. I didn't expect that the rolls would be half the size of normal rolls. Organic rolls don't have to be small, firm and hard. When asked, a boiled egg was supposed to cost 2 euros, but the bill said 3 euros. I was able to clarify, but still stupid. Location is great. Staff is friendly.

Beautifully located café in the shadow of the Kreuzkirche, which is run by the Weltladen. Very interesting map. As usual in DD City, not cheap. Staff sometimes act amateurishly. All in all, a lovely café that we enjoyed visiting.

Cute and comfortable place. I had the small vegan breakfast, which was two good quality bread rolls served with a selection of cold cuts, cheeses and a couple of dips. It looked small but was quite filling and very enjoyable.

We came here spontaneously and found a nice place. The food was good. The service too. A good vegetarian/vegan menu. The ambience was okay, but pale in comparison to other restaurants in Dresden's old town.

There are a lot of vegetarian options in this cafe. We ordered a lentil soup and a spinach lasagna and they were really tasty! I thought only soup wouldn’t be enough so I added sausages to the lentil soup but it was not necessary at all. The soup was very filling without sausages and the portion was quite big so we were so full after the meal. The staff here was also friendly and we enjoyed our experience here.

Some decent vegan options here but incredibly overpriced. It was a good spot to eat in a pinch near the central part of the city, but I probably would not go back.

They have an english menu that explains how to speak some german which I liked as well. The food was excellent and the waitress was very nice. If youre an American you should tip 20% here. They are used to 10% but if they give good service in Europe you have to respect it bc its not like restaurant industry in the states! Very impressed with this cafe/restaurant as an American tourist in Dresden!

I would recommend this place to someone I don’t like. Extremely overpriced for a large serving of very average food.
