We went for coffee as a small group. The service was very bad. It felt like the waiter came to the table twice. Once to take the order and once to bring everything, after that nothing happened. We sat in the café for about 3 hours and would have liked to have had something to drink or eat, but unfortunately no one came. We then had to go to the counter to pay because, as I said, the waiter was never seen again. Unfortunately, I personally cannot recommend the café due to the really poor service. Because as other visitors have already said, the coffee is not exactly cheap, so you really expect more.

Live with water... €6.50 a bottle of water. Compliments. €3 a coffee as if we were in Venice. 😡😱

Atmosphere is fine. But the waitress was not kind at all and while giving us the bill she asked us to give her tips three times - that I consider rude and not kind. I always try to tip personnel when I’m satisfied with food and staff but not this time !

Very nice staff. The vegan dishes read well, but are not very extensive for the high price. Unfortunately we remained hungry. Food can only be taken away via a rental system with an app.

A very great selection of healthy and rich vegan (and non-vegan) dishes. Service was very nice and the location was great too. It's not cheap here, but you can taste it, it was really delicious. I can fully recommend it :)

Had a small breakfast here. I didn't expect that the rolls would be half the size of normal rolls. Organic rolls don't have to be small, firm and hard. When asked, a boiled egg was supposed to cost 2 euros, but the bill said 3 euros. I was able to clarify, but still stupid. Location is great. Staff is friendly.

Beautifully located café in the shadow of the Kreuzkirche, which is run by the Weltladen. Very interesting map. As usual in DD City, not cheap. Staff sometimes act amateurishly. All in all, a lovely café that we enjoyed visiting.

Very nice service, a bit away from the center. Price/performance ok, food/drinks came together and within a reasonable time (not a long waiting time). You can also sit outside.

Cute and comfortable place. I had the small vegan breakfast, which was two good quality bread rolls served with a selection of cold cuts, cheeses and a couple of dips. It looked small but was quite filling and very enjoyable.

There are a lot of vegetarian options in this cafe. We ordered a lentil soup and a spinach lasagna and they were really tasty! I thought only soup wouldn’t be enough so I added sausages to the lentil soup but it was not necessary at all. The soup was very filling without sausages and the portion was quite big so we were so full after the meal. The staff here was also friendly and we enjoyed our experience here.

They have an english menu that explains how to speak some german which I liked as well. The food was excellent and the waitress was very nice. If youre an American you should tip 20% here. They are used to 10% but if they give good service in Europe you have to respect it bc its not like restaurant industry in the states! Very impressed with this cafe/restaurant as an American tourist in Dresden!

I would recommend this place to someone I don’t like. Extremely overpriced for a large serving of very average food.

Service was very nice. The food took a little longer but was still okay. Unfortunately, the food itself wasn't good at all. There were four of us eating and we paid around €130 for four main courses, a drink each and a starter plate. We had a goat cheese which was ok. However, the side salad was really just green leaves, then we had the pasta with the chicken, pasta was completely overcooked and the chicken was very dry. Then we had the gyros, which was delicious but the rice was completely overcooked. Last but not least we had the moussaka. The potatoes were raw, we even let them go back and when they came back they were still raw. All in all, you can really save yourself a visit because you could have used the money to buy two weeks' worth of groceries.

Nice well located cafe. Service doesn't come to the table as often and empty glasses aren't often questioned. You have to actively register. The food is tasty but not much for the high price.

If you need to make modifications of the food this is not the place. The male staff after seeing no onions and no garlic request, he made me wait and pretend not to see me that after. The lady took order and said can make food to my request. Waited 1.5hr for a starter and main dish. They all contained onions and garlics. The only item I can eat there are baked potatoes are ultra salty by Asian standards. Do not waste u time and most importantly money here.

Very good food with interesting, unusual dishes at reasonable prices, friendly and fast service. There are a few tables on the street right next to the Kreuzkirche, most of the seats are indoors.

We left another restaurant where the staff had no interest in serving us, and were warmly greeted at Aha where we enjoyed a pleasant "continental" breakfast. Everything was very good except the croissants, which were fine on the outside, but had rather stodgy interiors. This did not deter us from returning the next day, when I chose a "savoury" rather than "sweet" breakfast, with a good selection of cheeses to replace jam and chocolate spread. Price fair.

Very nice and nice café with very friendly service where you can have a nice breakfast. The coffee is excellent. I would have been happier with two nice big rolls. Here they are very small and they are aware of that, as they point out the better quality without baking additives. I still got full :-)

We ordered catering for 20 people for the youth consecration. Quality at its best, everything organic and partly very regional. We received great feedback for the food and are sending it to those who actually deserve the praise. Absolutely great and certainly not the last time!!!

We play chess here once every few weeks. The food is good to very good. Most of the time I'm very happy with it. Most of the dishes are vegetarian and vegan and a few normal ones. Prices are a bit higher but for reason because the quality of the components are above average (many regional or fair traded). The staff is very friendly and the place is comfortable. Update August 20: The menu is changing every few weeks. Recently I like it very much.

We went for breakfast today. We were very happy with the quality and quantity of the breakfast. We really enjoyed the coffee and cocoa. The conditions were very nice and attentive.

Food was very tasty. I took vegan baked feta. Focaccia was of enormous size. The portion was substantial. The menu has a list of allergens of all types, v.helpful.

Ein großer Cappuccino, 5,50€ und Latte Macchiato 4,50€ sind mittlerweile Normalpreis und die Getränke waren gut. Das süße Frühstück 9,50€ bestand aus einem Brötchen, einem Croissant, einem Schälchen Marmelade und einem Schälchen Schokoaufstrich - dazu die obligatorische Butter und einem Mini Obstsalat. Das herzhafte Frühstück 14,50€ aus zwei Brötchen, zwei Miniaturscheiben Salami, eine Scheibe Jagdwurst, eine Scheibe Käse, eine an- und teilweise vertrocknete halbe Scheibe Käse (Resteverwertung?) und einem kleinen Stück Weichkäse - dazu Salatdeko mit einem wirklich leckeren Dressing. Ich schwanke zwischen zwei und drei Punkten ... Tendenz zu zwei Punkten, denn für den Preis des Frühstücks (9,50 + 14,50) hatten wir einen Tag zuvor ein reichhaltigeres Frühstück paar Häuser weiter im Rauschenbach.

We took here simple breakfast. Scramble eggs , bread, cheese and ham . Unfortunately they don’t have avocado or benedictan eggs. Anyway it was tasty . Service was really polite .

Very good selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes. Drinks are locally sourced. Most dishes and drinks cost a bit extra to offset carbon emissions and stuff.

Friendly waiters, but the food is more to the german taste. So you may meet a lot of unfiendly German guests there. They have wonderful kakao with oriental flavours, moreover, nice gluten-free chocolate cupcake that anyone would fall in love with it.

Leider war die Bedienung sehr unfreundlich. Wir haben ein Frühstück bekommen, dass wir nicht bestellt hatten und haben es reklamiert. Der Kellner war darüber sehr aufgebracht und die Situation unnötig eskalieren lassen und uns nicht zugehört. Am Ende haben wir uns sehr unwohl gefühlt und hatten das Gefühl uns bei ihm entschuldigen müssen, obwohl wir nichts falsch gemacht haben. Am Ende hat er uns nicht mehr Tschüss gesagt. Das hat uns leider den Aufenthalt sehr unangenehm werden lassen. Das Essen war eigentlich lecker. Die weibliche Bedienung hat zum Glück deeskaliert. Ich würde nicht mehr hingehen.

This was my first cup of coffee in a coffee shop in Dresden, Germany. I ordered café au lait with cloves and cinnamon, and an apple meringue roll. For me, I am usually used to drinking lightly roasted food without adding milk in Taiwan, but when the weather is colder, it seems that I can accept this darker roasted food. It's just that the taste of cloves is a bit too strong. I prefer cinnamon, so I wish there could be more cinnamon and less cloves. As for the apple meringue roll, the raisins in the filling are delicious, the fresh cream is very generous, the ice cream tastes good, and there is fresh fruit. Overall, it is good. Of course, compared to food, the most important thing is the environment and service quality. The seats are comfortable, the lighting is soft, the environment is not stressful for long periods of time, and the service attitude is good. These are the reasons why I am willing to give this hotel five stars. Thank you very much for spending a wonderful afternoon.

The waitress said caramelized, I think carcinogenic. I don't think it's ok. The beetroot salad two weeks ago didn't have hard, black carmelized beetroot pieces. That's a real shame, especially the way the situation is handled. When I go to an organic restaurant, I also like to eat healthy.

I always enjoy coming to this café when I'm in Dresden. The coffee selection is brilliant, the food is unusual and the service is great. There is also the feeling that products and prices are used on fair terms.

Wir wollten als Familie eine kleine Kaffeepause im Café Aha einlegen, vielleicht noch eine Kleinigkeit essen. Wir sind rückwärts wieder raus, es roch stark nach Gulli. Auch die Tische waren dreckig, es wirkte in keinster Weise einladend. Wie kann man seinen Gästen so etwas zumuten? Schade, früher war ich sehr gern in diesem Café.

Man sollte immer reservieren. Sehr freundliches Personal und man fühlt sich gleich wohl.

Ganz nahe der Kreuzkirche gibt es dieses tolle Restaurant. Wir waren nach einem Konzert dort und haben abends gegessen. Das Essen ist sehr lecker, schön angerichtet und der Service einwandfrei. Es war voll, die Bedienung war trotzdem super nett. Eins der wenigen Restaurants, wo sich auf der Karte alle Allergene finden, großes Lob! Bei meinem nächsten Besuch in Dresden freue ich mich schon auf dieses Restaurant!

Hier sitzt und isst es sich sehr gemütlich. Die Karte enthält vorrangig vegane und vegetarische Gerichte. Das Lohmener Kellerbier ist eine Empfehlung wert.

Die Bedingungen waren nett, aber das Essen hat schon ein bisschen gedauert. Es ist höher vom Preis, was eigentlich für das Image in Ordnung wäre, wenn dann nicht die fertig-Muffins verkauft würden. Ich empfand den Geruch auch ganz unangenehm in dem Café, ein bisschen wie alter Abfluss.... Allgemein eher eine negativere Erfahrung, mal schauen ob es nächstes Mal besser wird

Seit 19 Jahren lieben wir dieses Cafe, mit unseren Kindern kamen wir bei jedem Besuch in Dresden zum Essen. Leider ist ein massiver Qualitätsverfall zu beobachten: Tische nicht gesäubert, Toilettengeruch im Restaurant, die Toiletten selber wirklich baufällig. Auch das Essen hat merklich nachgelassen, Salatbar wurde ganz abgeschafft. Nur die Preise haben sich entwickelt...... Es ist sooooo SCHADE!!!!!

Ich war begeistert von diesem Café. Schon als ich reinkam, war die Atmosphäre wunderbar. Und der Vorspeisenteller war super lecker. Ich werde auf jeden Fall wieder kommen.

cute cafe in Dresden´s old city. A bit more pricey due to it being a fairtrade cafe and what not, but not horrendously expensive. The ambience is nice with the second floor featuring an inside balcony, but the corner were we sat was rather for larger groups than a cozy get-together.

Wir wollten hier als vegan lebende Menschen Frühstücken, scheinbar ein Mysterium um 9h in Dresden?! Wir haben gehofft hier etwas zu finden doch waren enttäuscht. Brötchen und Vegane Aufstriche für 11-15€? Porridge für 11,50€? Was ist hier los. Es kann ja wohl nicht so schwer sein Veganes, faires, vollwertiges Frühstück an zu bieten was unter 10€ kostet. Suppen sind leider nicht zur Frühstücks Zeit erhältlich deshalb gibt es hierzu keine Bewertung. Wirklich schade, so trägt man nicht zu Veränderungen des ungesunden essverhalten deutscherer Esskultur bei. Und nein die Antwort ist nicht, dass Lebensmittel und Löhne gedeckt werden müssen. Die Antwort ist eher , hier fehlt es an Kreativität und know how. Schaut euch mal Speisekarten in z.B UK oder anderen Ländern an, da ist es Gesetz dass es mindestens eine Vegane Variante zu jeder FleischFisxj Käse Variante gibt. Im Brötchen ist meist Honig oder es sind enzyme enthalten also ist das auch eher selten Vegan. Das umdenken ist nicht schwer aber erfordert grips und Interesse am guten Essen. Vielleicht hilft mal die Speisekarte aufs wesentliche zu reduzieren um Sie dann flexibel zu halten. Nur so eine Idee ♥️

Zwei Sterne für das Ambiente, drei Sterne Abzug wegen dem wirklich schrecklichen Service. Meine Freundin hat telefoniert, deshalb habe ich für uns bestellt und nicht anders, wie die Kellnerin sich das ausgedacht hat! Ich habe einmal das Frühstück für 2 bestellt, wenn die Bedienung statt zu fragen welches der beiden Frühstücke für 2 ich möchte ( vegan oder normal) dies lieber errät und mir dann das Vegane bringt ist dies leider nicht meine Schuld, denn ich habe nicht gesagt das ich es vegan möchte. Mir dann vor allen Gästen die Schuld dafür zu geben und laut zu werden ( ich hätte ja auch mit dem Finger zeigen können, welches ich will ) ist halt wirklich unterirdisch .. Ich komme selber aus der Gastro und habe so ein Verhalten noch nie erlebt. Eine Entschuldigung statt falscher Unterstellungen und wir hätten das vegane Frühstück einfach zu Ende gegessen und hätten statt uns zu streiten auch dafür bezahlt. Schade.

Das Essen war leider nur lauwarm, an einigen Stellen sogar kalt. An sich war es lecker nur etwas fad für meinen Geschmack. Was ich bei meinen Freunden probiert habe war hingehen sehr lecker. Also durchschnittlich würde ich sagen, dann aber relativ teuer für das was ich bekommen habe. Der Service war sehr freundlich aber nicht der schnellste. Sehr gemütliches Restaurant. Komme gerne wieder und gebe eine zweite Chance :)

We discovered this amazing and cozy restaurant in Dresden. The food and the service were so good. The soup was delicious, filling and adapted tp everyone's tastes (tofu or sausage). Very good. Thanks for the meal !

Wir waren richtig müde nach einem anstrengenden Vormittag in der Dresdner Innenstadt und wollten dringend was essen. Google hat uns ein italienisches Restaurant empfohlen, aber auf dem Weg dorthin haben wir zufällig diesen Laden gesehen - und am Ende waren wir begeistert. Meine Frau bestellte ein Quiche mit Mangold und Ziegenkäse, ich nahm mir eine Spinat-Lasagne. Beide Gerichte waren hervorragend! Frisch, qualitativ hochwertige Zutaten, sehr lecker. Die Muffins und Sorbet zum Nachtisch waren ebenfalls sehr gut. Beim Kaffee bin ich ein wenig gespalten. Ich mag milderen Kaffee, aber es ist wirklich eine Geschmackssache, qualitativ war mein kräftiger Espresso absolut in Ordnung. Die Atmosphäre war sehr relaxed, die Bedienung sehr freundlich und absolut professionell. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist super. In der Summe ein tolles Erlebnis und tatsächlich eine Perle in Dresden, der ich gerne verdiente 5 Sterne gebe. Danke und schöne Grüße aus München

Direkt in der Innenstadt, vernünftige Preise und leckere fair gehandelte Produkte. Immer wenn ich nach Dresden komme versuche ich hier hinzukommen. Mein Tipp: Kakao mit Kardomon und Muskat, ein Seelenwärmer. Einziger Verbesserumgswunsch: Die Sitze außen könnten gerne bequemer sein.

Que bueno desayuno!! Típico alemán, camareras muy amables. En un plaza delante de monumentos históricos, rodeado de plantas que ha puesto el restaurante. Muchas opciones vegetarianas.

Jajecznica miała być z serem i pomidorami, była bez sera, za to z ogórkami i sałata. Kawa „O” średnia. Czekaliśmy prawie godzinę na podanie jedzenia. Przy wyjściu kelnerka przepychała się i rzuciła niemiłą uwagę że próbuje pracować. Jak na standardy europejskie zdecydowanie za słabo.

Aha cafe is perfect for vegetarians and vegans. Their menu has simple choices suitable for breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner. All our snacks and meals were delicious but the evening meal was interesting and outstanding in quality and taste. We also enjoyed some evenings simply for a drink. The cafe is located in a small quiet pedestrian area by a church. The staff are friendly and helpful, especially to us as a couple who couldn’t speak German. Highly recommended.

Ziemlich teuer für das Gebotene - insbesondere wenn man die Zusatzstoffe wie Konservierungsstoffe in der Wurst sieht - dafür gehe ich nicht ins Bio Kaffee. Auch die Mini Brötchen eher trocken - würde ich nicht nochmal machen - zu zweit über 50 EUR für ein zweitklassiges Frühstück.
