Service really good, nice atmosphere. But: Prices in relation to food quality by far too high. For instance, 1 small piece of cake "Eierschecke" cost 6,60 €!!!

Several separate rooms, very cozy atmosphere, friendly service.

Food was terrible and service was non-existent. It was difficult to call a waiter. I had to go up to them because they were all gathered at the restaurant entrance. The pumpkin carrot soup was terribly salty to the extent of being inedible. I told the waiter and he said it is how their customers like it. Did they even taste the soup? The macaroni with tomato sauce is just mediocre penne with tomato sauce. The fried redfish fillet with pasta was nothing to shout about as well.

We had reserved a table for two people because we hadn't had any luck spontaneously a few days before. When we arrived, we were seated at a table already occupied by another couple. We weren't asked if it was okay for us. It didn't create a romantic atmosphere. The food arrived at the same time for everyone at the table, but my wife's pasta was cold, and my wife had expected more than 1/4 of a tomato, given that the menu advertised it. The server acted professionally and sent the pasta to the kitchen. It was warm when it was served, but there were no more tomatoes. My meal was very tasty, and small portions are perfectly sufficient for a normal appetite.

We were there for dinner on August 16th. Everything was fantastic. Beautiful decor, and the staff were super friendly. The food was delicious, and the portions were generous. We were completely satisfied.

Everything is beautifully decorated in the old style; we sat in the Red Salon in the bay window and had a lovely view. The food was delicious and plentiful. The service was very attentive and friendly.

I had the roast beef with fried potatoes and it was more than disappointing, the roast beef was as thin as a schnitzel and not nearly as prepared as a roast beef, they didn't grill it but boiled it, the slices of meat were so small and the portion of fried potatoes was much too small

We called at short notice and were given a shady spot in the beer garden for five people by very friendly staff. The food was delicious, also available in "small" portions. The macaroni on the children's menu was a bit too spicy.

Unfortunately, we expected more from the Sauerbraten. The sauce was very slimy, which we're not used to.

Beautiful traditional restaurant, with atmospheric jazz quietly playing in the background. My food was excellent, as was the service. A far cry from most modern dining experiences but in the best possible way!

The price-performance ratio isn't really right. Even though the restaurant is empty, you get the feeling the staff is completely overwhelmed. You have to go from the terrace into the restaurant yourself to place your order. The staff is rarely seen on the terrace. Why not try a self-service shop?

If you're looking for a home-style meal in Dresden, Homage is the place to be. Not only do the service staff always take care of their guests, but the food also offers a wide selection and tastes truly delicious.

Three of us went to Homage for lunch today. It was a very spontaneous decision. We were there on Wednesday lunchtime, and what can I say: It was wonderful. We received a very friendly welcome and were shown a beautiful table. The ambiance is absolutely extraordinary, in the style of the 1930s, I would say. We received exceptionally attentive service, and the food was delicious. Homage is highly recommended for anyone who appreciates excellent food (including seasonal specials) and top-notch service.

If you wait almost 30 minutes for service and there are only 5 tables occupied on the terrace, that's more than just weak

Cozy restaurant with delicious food and delicious cakes.

I found the homage to be really beautiful and pleasantly designed. We were served quickly and politely, and the food was very tasty and extensive. I also thought it was really nice that you could choose between a large portion and a small one. Actually the large portion is more than I expected. You also have to evaluate the location here, and the old noble ambience, the music from the 1920s, the nostalgic sound of the grandfather clock were simply beautiful and harmonious. A homage to old times. Thank you very much, and we'll be happy to come back.

Unfortunately not so much 😕 My mom had her 85th birthday on March 8, 2025 She had ordered seats in advance and also discussed the possible selection of vegan and preparations Unfortunately, no one could remember it and so two guests were left without food The replacement for vegetarian food was two different types of cheese with some salad for a reasonable 22 euros So this lunch together ended up backfiring Leeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeier So our mom wasn't that enthusiastic and wasn't happy either With such a lovely restaurant, you would expect a little more hospitality So we will celebrate the ninetieth somewhere else 😃

Ideal for smaller family celebrations. There were real ones Dresden aspic and beautiful Period furniture and music that I made from the shellac I knew my grandma's records. Dresden always surprises. We would like to thank you for the beautiful 86. Birthday. We were lucky we were the guests. There are parking spaces behind the house for guests.

Restaurant as an insider tip for tourists, away from the center. Attention: Make a reservation in good time, otherwise there may be no chance of a spontaneous table. Service is then dismissive and possibly also stressed and annoyed.

We were a small group at Homage am Wasplatz on a Sunday. After we had already been able to be guests at Grandma's in the same constellation, it was now the turn of the homage. The ambience was classic and reminiscent of an old mafia film. The waiter was super attentive and always discreet. The food, I had liver, was very tasty and good value for money. I also recommend it. You have to know.

An excellent restaurant for the best German cuisine. Very stylishly furnished (1920s) and very well maintained. The food portions were quite generous and very tasty. The salad was absolutely fresh and crunchy. The staff deserve special praise for their friendliness and attentiveness. All in all very recommendable.

For 4 sticks of asparagus, almost no hollondaise and a schnitzel that wasn't even crispy... I think €24 is really too much. For asparagus with tongue you would even have paid €28 as a daily offer 😪. The service couldn't remember anything, but was still friendly. Seating is exceptional... but too deep for eating with such a high table.

We were there this evening as a group of 14 people. The food was very tasty and the portions were quite large. The waiters were super nice and listened to your every wish, e.g. with the extra request of potatoes with hollandaise sauce. Thank you for this wonderful evening we will 100% come back. Very noble location in an old villa in the middle of Dresden. We had reserved in advance and would recommend it to everyone, it was well attended. The service was friendly and quick. The food was excellent in taste and generous in portion size. There are also smaller senior portions. Great praise also for the kitchen. We would love to come back again. For all electric vehicle owners there is also a fast charger right in front of the restaurant 👍

The ambience is great, the service is excellent. The food is tasty and there are huge portions - for everyone who eats animals. The only dishes suitable for vegetarians were the desserts on the menu and yes, the curds were delicious. The waiter was very attentive and offered to put together a vegetarian meal - that was great service and very friendly. But not having any vegetarian or vegan dishes on the menu in 2024 is one reason why I can't go there anymore. It's actually strange, because my grandma only had meat on Sundays and lots of vegetables and other vegetarian dishes the rest of the week.

Home-style restaurant that actually manages to surprise with a very special ambience. The menu also offers many dishes as small portions, which can be a good choice depending on the generous portions. All-round harmonious concept on the subject of the 1930s.

Completely overpriced. I ordered the Rostbrätel with fried potatoes. Large salad, lots of fried potatoes, and a piece of meat about 4 to 5 cm in diameter buried under lots of fried onions and heavily laced with tendons. Unfortunately the meat tasted like liver. The meat was probably fried in the same pan as the liver, which is also offered on the menu. I then told the waitress...The only reaction was..."I'll pass it on to the kitchen..." But that was it. Not a word of apology, nothing. My wife ate the redfish on noodles. A very small piece of fish that was overcooked. Dry and without taste. We both ordered the small portion and paid over €50 each, including a drink. To put it bluntly, €50 for a lot of salad, fried potatoes, meat that tastes like liver and overcooked redfish = a rip-off. That was both our first and last visit there. It's a shame, because the atmosphere is really very appealing.

Had a bad day??? Unfriendly greeting: statement, no staff, full house (I couldn't tell), 45 min. waiting time at least - it was quicker, I wouldn't have had a problem with that either. Kitchen was better too!!!!

If you want to experience something completely different and transport yourself to another era, then Homage in Dresden is exactly the right place. As soon as you enter the restaurant you feel like you have been transported back in time Biedermeier Lovingly furnished, small, different restaurant areas, some with chairs, benches and nicely set tables. You either fall in love immediately or, as in real life, not at all. The service was very friendly, and the service with drinks and ordering went well and quickly. What can I expect at Homage? Real Saxon home cooking. If you want to eat here, you don't expect chichi, but rather something delicious on your plate. And that was it We had goulash once and sauerbraten, once with spaetzle, once with dumplings and a little something for dessert. The portions are very generous and you should be hungry if you order the normal portions there. Smaller portions are also available for those who are not so good eaters. All in all, Homage is a cozy restaurant that invites you to linger I can only recommend it here

Food tastes very good. Unfortunately, the small portions have shrunk compared to about 3 months ago. We didn't like the fact that VAT is not included in the final price, but is charged additionally. The service is very nice and friendly.

Essen wie vor 100 Jahren. Man fühlt sich wie im Museum! Es passt alles. Wir waren zum Mittagssnack da. Fleisch (Hühnchen) perfekt zubereitet, die Salatsauce hätte ich mir noch etwas intensiver gewünscht. Kindermenüs sehr günstig und wirklich grosse Portionem für die Kleinsten.

Ein wunderschönes, einheimisches Restaurant, mit klassischer Bedienung, top Service und sehr guter Küche. Die Räumlichkeiten im 20er Jahre Stil wirken sehr gemütlich, dazu wird passende Musik gespielt. Ein erstklassiges Erlebniss.

Wir waren zum Abendessen eingeladen. Das Ambiente ist toll und das Essen war wirklich lecker und reichhaltig. Es gibt bei jedem Gericht kleine und große Portionen. Sollte man Vor- und Nachspeise wollen, empfehle ich beim Hauptgang die kleine Portion.

Stilvolles Ambiente, leckere Speisen, ein tolles Servicepersonal und das alles zu erschwinglichen Preisen...Einfach fantastisch 😀
