Well...how can you describe such a great place...simply amazing...the food is fantastic, I had the chicken liver...it really felt like it was homemade...but the biggest compliment goes to the service...we felt so well looked after...laughed a lot and special thanks to Conny and Sarah...we'd love to come back...by the way, we were the three with the Moet...thanks again for the great time!!!!!!

Interesting interior design. Good food, large portions, nice and friendly service. Basic communication in English possible. It's worth visiting this place.

The place is very nice, location is central, food is perfect and also staff very kind except one lady waitress.

The restaurant was recommended to us. The atmosphere is quite nice, there are normal chairs and old train benches, which is something new. The service was nice and courteous. My partner had the Dresdner Batzen and was satisfied (food rating 2.3-2.7, good but not particularly special, quantity sufficient). I had a vegetarian meal. The menu read: "vegan zucchini steak, marinated with mint and fried in olive oil, with colorful vegetables and herb triplets." In the picture you can see what came: unseasoned jacket potatoes (because of herbs), fried zucchini slices (no trace of mint), unseasoned steamed vegetables and a surprise tomato sauce. At €19.90 (and I'm taking the top location into account here) it's simply far too expensive for something that any kitchen novice can manage. I was quite disappointed and it doesn't correspond to what is picturesquely shown on the menu. It was edible but quite bland, even with the salt and the tomato sauce. Quantity was enough for me. I would not recommend the dish to any vegetarian and would advise groups of meat eaters and vegetarians to go to another restaurant.

The Dresden 1900 is really worth seeing and has something of a museum gastronomy feel about it. The service is really great and super friendly and quick. The cucumber salad is highly recommended!!! I had the pork steak with seasoned meat, but I didn't really like the steak 🥩. My friend had the conductor's plate and it was really tasty. At the end we had two conductor's hats 4cl and that was really good. They cost 91.00 euros for everything, but you can treat yourself sometimes.

Barrier-free for wheelchair users, there is plenty of space in the back. Toilet available. Delicious food, very nice service and cool ambience.

After today's Sunday brunch I can only rate the food on offer. There was definitely something for every taste and everything was delicious. A big compliment for the service! Friendliness and flexibility are top and, above all, a location that you can use with a small child (2 years old) with a clear conscience. Delicious, Saxon and simply good... keep it up.

We had dinner there today, firstly Martin and Conny (our two waiters) were very nice and attentive to us when we ate it, it was good and sufficient for dessert I had quark drumsticks, the homemade one I now call apple zest with mint was very tasty, the quark drumsticks were semi-good for me because if you have little or no raisins in the dough, it tastes quite strongly of potatoes, which makes the thing very unpleasant in sweet form. We found it a bit of a shame that we were still eating during dessert We were asked whether we wanted to pay by card or cash, which is a no go if one of the guests is still eating. Despite everything, we can recommend the 1900 because they make an effort to do everything quickly and avoid long waiting times

Surprisingly large and spacious restaurant. Portions could be a little larger, but that can be compensated for with a delicious dessert. When full, everything sometimes takes a little longer, but a cold drink helps here too. Can be recommended with a clear conscience.

Worst service I’ve ever experienced in my life in Europe. Atmosphere was like we were supposed to leave even before ordering something.

Definitely a must-visit in Dresden. While on the slightly touristy side, the food is exceptional. It is a great place to try authentic Saxon food. Definitely try their deserts and Saxon soup, paired well with Radeberger. Make sure to book a table in advance.

The tourist hotspot at the Frauenkirche....the 1900 has been around in Dresden since the 1990s....became a cult thanks to the Dresden actor Bellmann.... Was there for lunch today...the goose broth was ok... Sporty prices for the main courses... Great interior design :-)

We went for Christmas brunch today. Everything tasted really good. In addition to goose and duck, we were also treated to fish and game. The service team was always there when needed and was in a good mood and friendly. The tables were set up appropriately for the occasion. The highlight was a short appearance by Dorit Gäbler and Karl-Heinz Bellmann in their "Line 6", who also enjoyed brunch with their family. They were able to establish contact with the guests immediately with their performance and many sang along. Splendid. In the heart of Dresden, this place is an original corner, which in its spacious dining room houses a train carriage. The atmosphere at Christmas is endearing and it was worth the visit. They treated us very kindly and diligently. The dishes were delicious. The children are given a trivet that can be colored. It is very good for families and the bathrooms have a changing table.

Apfelstrudel very good - tasty! As for the hot chocolate, we asked the staff before serving whether the chocolate had alcohol in it - the waitress started discussing each one in turn and recommended it to us with cherry - and it was with coffee and cherry liqueur which killed the entire flavor of the chocolate. Half of it was not drunk. With the second chocolate, there was a misunderstanding whether it should be white or black. We ordered a black one and it came white, but it was replaced by the staff.

Eating on a tram is a very original idea. The prices have the “Frauenkirchenzuschlag” in the immediate vicinity, but the bottom line is that everything fits together. Very friendly service. Menu as spoken, which is very funny. This was definitely not our last visit.

We were there on Friday evening and were warmly welcomed. The drinks came quickly and the service that took the order was also fine and nice. What unfortunately didn't suit us at all were the drinks and food runners, as they didn't come across as authentic at all and you could barely understand them. Unfortunately, a good appetite was too much to expect. In addition, the mashed potatoes seemed to come from a bag and the mushroom sauce for the schnitzel was also from a bag and very bland. All in all it was ok, but you would expect fresher cuisine for the prices.

Das Restaurant *Dresden 1900* direkt neben der Frauenkirche überzeugt mit seiner Erlebnisgastronomie und einem einzigartigen Ambiente, das die Geschichte Dresdens aufgreift. Die interessante Einrichtung entführt in vergangene Zeiten, und die Speisekarte im sächsischen Dialekt sorgt für ein authentisches Erlebnis. Il ristorante offre piatti tipici della cucina sassone che per il sottoscritto si è trattato di una piacevole scoperta! Lo staff è molto cordiale e mi ha fatto sedere immediatamente dandomi un menù in inglese. I piatti mi hanno solleticato tutti l'appetito, alla fine ho optato per degli spinaci gratinati al formaggio davvero deliziosi ed ottimi come prezzo. Un'altra nota positiva è data dai bagni molto puliti, non posso dunque che raccomandarlo!

12 of us had reserved the “Helene” tram for lunch. I went to this restaurant today because Tuesday is schnitzel day and I'm really into schnitzel 😉 and I wasn't disappointed. The schnitzel was golden brown and crispy, the mushroom sauce was very tasty, the fries were as they should be and the coleslaw, which unfortunately was a bit lacking, was also great. I had dinner here with my family (four people) a few days ago and we really enjoyed it. Every dish was delicious, I especially enjoyed the homemade mustard sauce on the Bürger 🍔. Our service was friendly and the restaurant is great and themed. The highlight of the atmosphere is of course the many old tram signs and the old train at the Bar-berreich. I can recommend this restaurant.

We came here because of a recommendation and the location is close to our hotel. The environment is really cool and we ordered the conductor's favorite plate which has all the famous local dishes. The food is good and the service isn't as bad as what some reviewers have experienced even though I'm Asian too. I would recommend anyone to come and we did enjoy ourselves here.

Service was all very warm and friendly (as everyone in Dresden felt). We were here several times on our weekend. One day we left our wallet behind after paying. We held our champagne reception after the wedding in the country house here and were wonderfully welcomed and served. Despite the large company, the team responded to our wishes at short notice and individually and billed everything fairly and easily based on effort - without wedding flat rates or anything similar. Wir haben an einem Sonntag nach 21. Uhr versucht dort etwas zu essen zu bekommen,die Kellnerin uninteressiert ,räumte etwas in Nähe Eingang ohne aufzusehen und meinte ,"man könne nicht in den hinteren Garten nur draussen auf dem Platz sitzen " und das emotionslos gelangweilt Wir fanden einen Tisch wollten Essen bestellen,da teilte der Kellner mit,dass es nur noch Getränke gäbe - 21 Uhr in einer Landeshauptstadt-mitten im Zentrum-unfassbar dreist und geschäftsschädigend-wir sind gegangen und haben dann im Augustiner ganz gemütlich hervorragend gegessen und lange gesessen -dass 1900 aufzusuchen war das ungezähle Mal vergebens ,nun bekommt es keine Chance mehr von uns, nie wieder, -so funktioniert Gastwirtschaft und Kundenfreundlichkrit nicht -im Zentrum sollte bis Mitternacht essen gehen möglich sein

Main con is the waitress didn’t even give us utensils. The dishes were finally out after maybe 20 minutes. Had to get her attention and ask to get utensils. Also when paying by card the waitress can’t get machine to work. I believe she selected wrong option in cashier machine because another waitress had to help her cancel the original input and redo, then the card worked. Decor is very interesting. Had a street car purported from 1898 in middle of inner space where ppl can actually dine in. Food was decent. I would recommend going here for the decor and atmosphere and the decent food. The service is probably dependent on who does your table.
