We were just there to have a drink and enjoy the beautiful weather at Lake Constance.

It was a wonderful experience, both in terms of cuisine, ambiance, and service. We had the char in a seed and kernel crust with a white wine sauce and beetroot tagliatelle. It was a dream. The wine, a Meersburg Pinot Gris, was truly excellent. The atmosphere, right on the lake, was truly beautiful, and the service was excellent and very friendly. A real insider tip—but not anymore.

Beautiful view – culinary disappointment The restaurant impresses at first glance with its stunning location and beautiful view of Lake Constance. Unfortunately, the enthusiasm ends there. My friend had fish – it was mediocre at best and simply not convincing in terms of flavor. The potatoes served with it were actually the only truly edible thing at the table. My avocado pasta, on the other hand, was simply disastrous – I've never eaten worse pasta. While the restaurant's prices are within the usual range for the Lake Constance region, the quality offered is not up to scratch. The service was friendly but unattentive; asking for more drinks would have made the experience much more pleasant. In conclusion: If you just want a drink and enjoy the view, this is the place for you. For food and service, however, it's definitely not for you.

Four families came for dinner. We received a very friendly welcome and were served quickly. Everything was fresh and delicious. Thank you very much.

No, absolutely not recommended, except for a drink. The food is an absolute disaster. Except for the ready-made schnitzel, which is okay, but that's not difficult. But anyone in Swabia who can't make spaetzle or roast pork is absolutely the wrong chef. I've never sent food back, but this was truly unbearable and almost tantamount to assault.

Simply top-notch! A restaurant we'd happily recommend. Four of us dined there and were completely thrilled. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcome – a super friendly welcome, a beautiful, well-kept ambiance, and a pleasant atmosphere throughout. The menu was varied yet not overly extensive – you can tell they focus on quality over quantity. Our food was excellent: fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The drinks selection was also good. What we particularly liked was the warm and attentive service. Friendly, quick, yet relaxed – just right. You could tell the team makes an effort to ensure all guests feel comfortable. In conclusion: A place where everything is just perfect – from the first impression to the last bite. We'll definitely be back and recommend it!

Location is great. Sitting right by the lake. Food, well, it's ok. Could be better. We had schnitzel and cheese spaetzle. Schnitzel has quality like it comes from a canteen. Salad comes with the main course. Everything pretty quickly. Service was very friendly. Overall, I wouldn't come again because of the quality of the food.

Eat there again - no thanks. A 1 for the food is still too much. I ordered schnitzel fries - the quality of the meat was sooo bad that I unfortunately couldn't finish the bite and unfortunately it ended up in the napkin. The plate arrived after 4 minutes, which shows that the meat was only warmed up in the deep fryer. The beautiful view doesn't help either; I can enjoy it without this disastrous meal. Angelika from the service wanted to save the whole thing and suggested bringing roast pork. It was also very bad and warmed up and unfortunately this bite also ended up in the napkin. The poor color of the meat was covered up with a brown sauce. It's a shame for such a great location.

Unfortunately, service is not really on point.

We went on vacation to Meersburg for the first time this year and discovered this restaurant. We stopped there almost every day, sometimes to eat or just to enjoy a delicious drink. The service was always equally friendly and there was a lot of fun to be had. The food was excellent and the drinks were always very fresh! We thought the seats right by the lake were great. We spent lovely hours with you and would like to thank you very much. We'd love to come back next year. Elisabeth and Robert Bings

Great atmosphere with tasty food and good service

Very nice atmosphere with a direct view of Lake Constance. If you want, you can sit outside right by the water. The staff is very friendly. The price/performance level is not balanced in my opinion. The prices are far too expensive for the quality of the food delivered. Other restaurants in town have more to offer for the money.

Location is nice but the food is horrible. Frozen schnitzel dipped in the deep fryer (ultra greasy) and fries the same... not worth €16. For this quality you go straight to fast food.

We had schnitzel with fries. The portions are very large and the price-performance ratio is absolutely reasonable. In addition, the service was very quick and courteous and we even received an extra gravy upon request.

Food was good, the fish was of very good quality and had a great crust, unfortunately all the seasoning was missing, and the salad was also unfortunately 0 seasoned. The conditions were very listless and complained about something within themselves. The atmosphere was great right on the lake.

Das beste ist die Lage....direkt am Wasser. - Wer Vegetarisch oder Veganes will, findet hier auch was. Meine Frau hatte gefüllte Aubergine, was ganz gut war. Ich hatte Schnitzel mit Pommes und Beilagensalat. V.a. letzterer war sehr gut..Die zwei Schnitzel waren ok, aber etwas zu trocken..die Pommes waren essbar, aber nicht high quality. Bedienung war gut, aber wir mussten die Freundlichkeit etwas aus ihr herauskitzeln :-).

Salat mit Saiblingfilet. Ordentliche Portionsgröße. Toll gemischter Salat. Saibling gut angebraten, innen schön saftig. Brotbeigabe sehr lecker.

Meine Käseknöpfle mit Allgäuer Bergkäse schmeckten leider wie Kartoffelbrei. Es waren keine Knöpfe zu finden und der Käse schmeckte wie Sahne. Der Fitnesssalat mit Fisch war sehr gut, mit Hähnchenstreifen weniger. Wenn ich in einem Restaurant Schnitzel mit Pommes zu einem doch recht hohen Preis bestelle, erwarte ich eigentlich kein Formschnitzel aus der Friteuse. Schade, denn das Drumherum wie der Service war sehr gut.

Die Lage direkt am Bodensee war sehr einladend, wir wurden schnell bedient und das Essen kam auch recht zügig. Die Kellner waren sehr zuvorkommend. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt! Wir empfehlen das Ofengemüse mit Hähnchen, welches auch vegetarisch angeboten wird bzw beim bestellen nachgefragt wird. Auf jeden Fall weiter zu empfehlen!

Hatten zu dritt das Grillgemüse. Wir waren begeistert. Es war lecker und sehr gut gewürzt ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Hervorragen!!! Immer wieder gerne

Ein fantastisches Lokal direkt am Wasser gelegen. Eine vielfältige Speisekarte mit leckeren Speisen. Zudem sehr freundliches Personal. Kommen gerne wieder.

2 von 3 panierten Schnitzeln waren teilweise roh und konnten daher nicht gegessen werden. Nach Reklamation zwar Ersatz bekommen, darf aber so nicht passieren. Kellner war sehr nett, musste aber zum Bestellen und zum Bezahlen mehrfach gerufen werden. Er wurde durch die vorhandenen Kollegen nicht unterstützt obwohl diese nicht so viel zu tun hatten. Platz am See war sehr schön.

Schöne Lage direkt am See. Das Essen war frisch und lecker und der Preis angemessen. Obwohl die Hölle los war, war die Bedienung sehr freundlich und das Essen stand zügig auf dem Tisch.

Preise aufgrund der Lage angemessen. Freundliches und flinkes Personal. Portionsgröße ausbaufähig. Nachbartisch fragte nach einer geänderten Beilage was die Küche ablehnte, auch wurde der Fisch als kalt reklamiert und wurde wieder zurück gegeben

Schön dort draußen zu sitzen und sein leckeres Essen zu genießen, man sollte sich nur nicht von den vorbei laufenden Touris stören lassen. Preislich, brauch ich nicht`s sagen, es liegt ja direkt am See, Erklärt sich somit von selbst. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, nur das Ambiente im Inneren (was ich sah) erinnerte mich an eine Schulmensa. Aber durchaus eine Optionen essen zu gehen, empfehlen kann ich es auf jeden Fall...

Wir waren am Sonntag da essen. Das Ambiente kann ich leider nur von draußen beurteilen, aber das ist sehr gut, ja alleine durch den Bodensee. Tolle Lage. Der Service ist ganz okay, wenn eine Bedienung noch mit arbeiten würde gäbe es keine langen Wartezeiten! Das essen ist nicht so besonders, bei den Preisen erwarte ich etwas mehr!!! Wir hatten schnitzel und den saibling. Die schnitzel waren ungewürzt, trocken, die pommes gab es trocken mit Ketchup sticks, in einem Restaurant 🙈🙈, der Beilagen Salat war etwas sauer aber gut. Der saibling sah gut aus, aber komplett geschmacksneutral, die Nudeln waren nix, also bei dem Preis war das essen echt nix. Ich hoffe nicht das jedes Gericht so ist.

Das Essen war sehr lecker. Die Portionen sehr groß. Das beste war der Platz direkt am See mit einem traumhaften Sonnenuntergang.

Lage direkt am Bodensee. Essen sehr lecker. Und ein sehr netter, freundlicher Kellner, der trotz sehr vielen Gästen am Sonntag Nachmittag aufmerksam und auch noch mit Charme einen tollen Job machte.

Nettes Personal, ging auch alles recht flott. Essen schmeckte zunächst ganz gut. Bei den Kässpatzen hat wohl was nicht gestimmt, die blieben leider nicht lange im Magen und haben für eine schlaflose Nacht gesorgt…

Das Essen war nicht gut , Der Fisch war eingefroren , das Personal unmotiviert,nur die Lage war schön dadurch auch viele Besucher ,

Das Essen sowie das Personal war auf sehr hohem Niveau. Zunächst dachten wir, dass bei einer so schönen Aussicht und noch akzeptablen Preise das Essen nichts besonderes sein könne, doch wir wurden eines besseren belehrt. Das Essen was vorzüglich, alles sehr fein abgeschmeckt. Auch die Weine waren hervorragend. Die Bedienung kam regelmäßig, ohne zu aufdringlich zu wirken und war überaus freundlich. Das Essen kam zudem recht schnell. Von uns also eine absolute Empfehlung, vor allem für Fisch- und Weinliebhaber, aber auch für Vegetarier.

Wir hatten zu zweit einen super Abend und Einstieg in den Urlaub hier. Ein Tisch direkt am See und ein super zackiger Kellner haben uns die Stunden vergessen lassen :D Das Essen war ausgezeichnet! Getränke schnell und kalt serviert. Wir kommen gerne wieder her.

Tolle Location, das Fleisch und die Knöpfchen waren ganz lecker, aber das Gemüse hat gar nicht gut geschmeckt, die Karotten, Brokkoli usw. hatten alle einen sehr seltsamen Geschmack, wahrscheinlich alte Tiefkühlkost.
