The waffles were delicious. The price is quite high, probably due to the location.

At 5:30 p.m., the restaurant was less than 20% full, yet it still took more than 15 minutes for someone to come to our table. Three of the sodas listed on the menu were unavailable. Of the two drinks we ordered, one was delivered after another 15 minutes, and only minutes later, upon inquiry, did we learn that the other soda we had chosen was also unavailable. When, after another 20 minutes, the replacement drink still hadn't arrived and the ice cubes in the glass were half melted, we left the restaurant. This isn't going to make any money, even with high prices.

Great surprise at LOTTI – highly recommended! The reception at LOTTI on the south beach was really warm - a really nice start. We ordered coffee and cake spontaneously, without any great expectations. We were even more pleasantly surprised: the presentation was lovely and the taste was simply great! We were so excited that we reserved a table for our last holiday dinner. A real highlight of our SPO trip – we will definitely be back!

I've been to many restaurants in SPO, but the service here was the worst so far. We only ordered a waffle and 2 drinks, but only got one drink. The second drink didn't come at all because no one came even though there was nothing going on. The trainee cleared up diligently, and that was it. When asked to bring a second drink, only... a colleague came, but she didn't come. Every now and then the boss would run around and pick up the napkin that was blown down by the wind, which was supposed to be for my child, but he didn't even think of asking if a new one was needed?! When it came to paying, I also said that a second drink had been ordered. The only answer I got was that my colleague was a trainee and didn't understand it and didn't pass it on. Fortunately, the lady even kept the remaining money. Yes, I could have said something, but I was really fed up and just wanted to get out of there

The location in the middle of the salt marshes on the border with the mudflats is something very special. The pile structure was built in 2023 and accordingly the restaurant and toilets are in excellent condition. The guest room is pleasantly flooded with light and the view through the surrounding window front is great. The service is attentive, friendly and businesslike. Unfortunately, the food does not live up to the expectations raised by the high prices. The main course was only served lukewarm. The oven fish was rather neutral in taste - interesting or creative spices - unfortunately not found. The panfish pan, which normally contains three different types of fish, here only consisted of three-breaded pollack fillet. Poor. Lotti is recommended for sitting and enjoying a dessert or a beer, Aperol spritz or another cold drink. If you want to eat delicious food, you should stop somewhere else. The prices definitely do not correspond to the service provided.

You can leave it like that and it'll be fine! We went to Lotti for dinner on a Sunday lunchtime around my wife's birthday. I also stated this when making the reservation. When we arrived, a nice table inside was reserved for us. Since the sun was shining we wanted to sit outside, which wasn't a problem. After a very short time, the waitress came back and asked who it was his birthday, congratulated us and handed us two glasses of champagne. You don't have to do that, but it's great like this! After we had chosen something to eat, we were recommended a bottle of wine. I tried and didn't realize my mistake. We were poured, my wife tasted and found the wine to be very sweet. Now the catastrophe could have begun. I remorsefully contacted our really nice waitress and said that we couldn't drink the wine. To clarify, the wine was totally fine, we just didn't like it. The bottle was immediately taken away and a new one was recommended to us. I also said that we wanted to at least pay for the portion that was served. We didn't find anything about it on the invoice. You can't expect this kind of goodwill, it's of course great! For dinner we had Lotti's fish soup, which contained very good, not overcooked fish. The fish stock tasted very good and appeared to be well-crafted. Lotti’s burger in a pretzel bun was also spot on. The Deichkäse used was also very tasty and the fries were not old oil sticks, so everything was perfect. For whom it matters. The portions were so generous that there was no room for a waffle for dessert. But we'll be back... Finally, I would like to mention that although the restaurant was very busy, the service was always there quickly, had a nice saying on their lips and gave competent advice. So it was really good!!!

The restaurant on the Phälen can be easily reached on foot from St.Peter-Dorf. When the weather is sunny you have a beautiful view of the Wadden Sea. There is a large outdoor terrace, with beach chairs on the sides so that you can stay protected from the wind. The interior design is modern. I ate a "white waffle" (with powdered sugar). It was super tasty, I can only recommend it. However, I had to wait almost 25 minutes to be able to order, even though the waitress walked past me several times. It was only after other guests pointed out that I was served in a relatively unfriendly manner. What a shame! But I've observed that it's really only down to one person, so I don't want to base my rating mainly on that. The location is therefore worth a visit.

Gluten-free waffles and gluten-free alternatives are also available. Contamination risk is unknown. Seating is available inside and outside, and the interior is very cozy.

One of the 5 stilt house restaurants on SPO beach. Great view of the water (if it's there) and nice ambience. Sitting on the outside terrace was quite chilling, even in the fresh wind.

Yes, unfortunately I came too late, there was only warm food until 3 p.m., from 3 p.m. there is coffee and cake! Warm food again from 5 p.m.! Prices are set quite high!

I've been here many times and have often had great food, pleasant evenings, and excellent service. Today, however, they served completely overpriced, dry pasta with half the ingredients missing. When we asked about it, the response was more rude than friendly. We were offered a free espresso at the end, but it didn't make up for the overpriced pasta and the poor service. What a shame!

We only had a drink, but the service was very attentive and the atmosphere was lovely.

We (2) went to the Lotti yesterday. Everything fit. Beautiful sunset, nice service and the food was excellent. We'll be back. A little tip: add 1 or 2 warm vegetarian dishes to the menu.

Nice restaurant and cafe right on the beach. Unfortunately the way there is very long, but it's easy to reach by bus. We only had an Aperol Sprizz which was a bit overpriced. In addition, the waitress was very arrogant and answered our friendly question as to whether there were fish rolls very arrogantly - she didn't train to be a restauranteur for something like that!

We have celiac disease and therefore rely on gluten-free food. That worked wonderfully for Lotti. (By the way, the bread is cut in a separate place.) The delicious greeting from the kitchen was also great. In terms of price, the level is high.

Shameless and extremely unfriendly, we were immediately greeted with total sarcasm. When we wanted to order something to take away (because we couldn't/didn't want to sit there with our dog) we were treated very insultingly and turned away. In the end we weren't even sold waffles and the boss ended the conversation with the words "I'm not going to sell you takeaway, don't you get it?!" I'm stunned, vacation day ruined.

Maybe we just had a bad day... unfortunately the price-performance ratio doesn't match at all! The fish had died at least a second time, and parts of the fried potatoes were particularly good with the roasted aromas. The service consistently bitched at each other and greeted each other with “how can I help you?” Wait too long!!! The best thing about Lotti is the location, the sunset and the wine!!!

Unfortunately we can't say anything positive either. The food was meaningless, devoid of aromas or taste, no creativity, but unfortunately absolutely overpriced. Unfortunately, service was also very unsatisfactory, you are neither seen nor heard. There are snack bars and bistros with much better quality. It's a real shame that you have to say it like that, but the previous ones simply had wonderful service and outstanding food. Unfortunately, you now have the impression that you as a guest are no longer worth anything and that it doesn't seem to matter how you perform in a holiday region, since new guests are always coming. Fortunately, there are other restaurants where guests are treated properly and with respect and are served food that is adequate for the price. We also politely addressed the deficiencies, but unfortunately this didn't help make the evening any better.

2 dishes were average, one was good. The staff was very attentive and the location is great. Still, the prices were very high for the quality and all in all it wasn't anything special.

Had fish soup here in October, or rather clear broth with leftover fish and vegetables. A no go for me and definitely not recommended

Lotti is a (multiple) “must” on every SPO vacation. Delicious food, nice staff and a good boss. The prices are of course appropriate for the location - but the price/performance ratio is right!

Very arrogant & unfriendly shop with overpriced prices. You are not allowed to order small/children's portions if you are a little hungry, otherwise the service staff will be killed by the kitchen (that was the reason given by the very unfriendly service staff) The kitchen definitely checks every order -> which table it goes to 🙈🤣 Never again

Top Beratung bzgl. der Vorsuppe und den den Hauptgang begleitenden Wein, großartige selbstgefertigte Fischsuppe auf eigenem Fischfond, Hirschrücken mit hocharomatischem Jus und Petersilienpesto, hausgemachte Bratkartoffeln en point, aus purer Freude an dieser geschmacklichen Fülle hätte ich mir noch eine größere Portion gewünscht, obwohl schon diese ausreichend bemessen war und noch Platz ließ für einen wunderbaren Nachspeisenteller mit Erdbeerparfait, einem Schokoladenküchlein mit flüssigem Kern und einer Streuwiese aus frischen Früchten ummalt von einreduzierten Fruchtnektaren, alles frisch und eigenproduziert, dazu ein Espresso Dopio. Ein wunderbarer Abend zu zweit mit großartiger Kulinarik in schönem Ambiente mit Sicht auf die Nordsee und in einem akustischen Raum, der entspannte Unterhaltung zuließ. Bravo und herzlichen Dank!

We were there two days in a row. On the first day in the evening with the evening menu. All of us have celiac disease. We were informed by a waitress that traces could not be ruled out. When asked more precisely, the waitress responded with annoyance. The presumed owner then took his time and answered our questions. There is gf bread. At our request, this was baked on baking paper. Otherwise we had no complaints after eating. However, the restaurant is expensive. The food was okay. There are, for example, gf schnitzel and gf. fried fish. Fries don't work because breading is prepared in the same deep fryer. The schnitzel was fried in a pan. The vegetarian selection is very small. On the second day we went for waffles. These were very good. There is also a gluten-free cake. Only gf is prepared in the mixer. A cake is gh. However, the base is finished there and is not baked on site. However, gh sourdough bread is prepared in the kitchen. But we tolerated everything well.

Really great homemade Frisian cake! And the waffles are also a poem - big, fluffy, delicious! The view is picturesque and with a bit of luck you may see a sea robe.

Im Lotti am Südstrand herrscht besondere Atmosphäre. Hier werden besonders hochwertige Gerichte kreiert und mit Liebe jeder Gast umsorgt. Ambiente besonders. Speisekarte außergewöhnlich. Einrichtung uns Stimmung so wundervoll.

Visited Lottis for the first time today. After seeing my local, your local, we had to go there. Really very nice location with a view of the sea, nice decor. However, we were very disappointed with the service. We reserved a seat by the window via open table. When we arrived we were told to squeeze into a small alcove. When we asked to be given another table, we were dealt with rather rudely. We then went looking outside ourselves and were able to find a nice table. After 30 minutes, a not very friendly waitress came to our table. We ate waffles. Unfortunately we can't say anything about the food because, as I said, we only ate waffles. Even though the location is very nice, I don't think we'll come back. Since the prices are in the upper category, service is important to me.

Friendly staff, the food was ok, but I wouldn't go there specifically for that reason. If you spend the day walking through the dunes it is a good place to take a quick rest and have a drink or something to eat. Of course, Lotti scores with a great view over the North Sea/Watt Sea/dunes.

We were very satisfied and would love to come back.

We ate there three years ago and loved the fish and chips. That's why we went there again today. Unfortunately there was a new operator a year ago, which led to massive losses in food. Even the coffee tastes better with every refill. Now you can be content with the view, the rest is unnecessary. Too bad!

Lotti has fantastic waffles. Unfortunately they weren't that good today, so only 4 stars for the food. The service varies depending on which service person is responsible for you. The ambience is definitely great.

Outstandingly good food and what's more important: very, very nice staff! Next time we are in SPO we will definitely come back.

After the mudflat hike, stopped for food and a wine. Stayed for a good three hours. Enjoyed the afternoon comfortably in a beach chair with the very attentive and fast service. Food: Fish & Chips, sweet potato gnocchi with chanterelles, side salad, peach sour cream cake and hot love. Sensationally delicious and everything super fresh. Absolutely recommended! We'll be back. 👋🙏🫶

The menu says minced steak with mashed potatoes, peas & mini Tk mörchen. Steak mince... were for me these mini meatballs a.ca. 40 grams. And the price 16.50 This dish would have fit on a breakfast plate. Once is too much. Must be my money Don't spend there.

I would prefer to give zero stars. We reserved a table weeks in advance and announced a dog. We then had to wait a long time until a table finally became available! After a long wait we got a random table in the middle where the dog couldn't even lie or sit. The prices are simply utopian and not justified. For a small portion over 20 euros, which doesn't even fill you up and is more of a starter than a main course (the view doesn't justify the prices either). What's saddest are the unfriendly waiters.

Worth a visit, delicious food, slightly higher prices, but still ok! But we'd love to come back. Note: At least at the time of our visit at the end of September 24, the walk to the stilt building was a battle with the mosquitoes, we have never experienced anything like that. Over 80 mosquitoes or biting midge bites on the head and neck (!) in just under 20 minutes of walking. Therefore, be sure to wear appropriate clothing and/or mosquito repellent or use the free bus.

The Lotti thrives on the ambience. The service on September 20th, 2024 was rude and lacked any expertise, even a separate payment (3) is prevented, in short: there is still a lot of room for improvement.

Watched the sunset here several times in the evening with a coffee and an Aperol. Service very attentive. Addendum: 2 days later there again and other service staff, who are unfortunately completely overwhelmed. Trying hard but overwhelmed when everyone wants to experience the sunset. A big thank you to trainee L., who brought a small piece of the delicious bread.

Leider nicht zu empfehlen. Menschlichkeit wird dort leider nicht sehr groß geschrieben von der führung. Da gehe ich lieber für weniger geld noch besser essen in büsum Z.B.

We decided to try a new restaurant but the staff was a disaster. The waiter made us wait forever, was visibly annoyed and slammed the menus on the table. Drinks arrived late, food was cold, and when we complained the waiter just shrugged his shoulders. Instead of taking care of the guests, the staff loudly gossiped with each other. In the end we left disappointed and hungry – definitely our last visit.

The Lotti is definitely a must. The only thing that really annoyed me was the parking fee for the car. Taking a fee...okay. But there are only two options...1 hour 3 euros or day ticket 8 euros. I think the Lotti is a kilometer away from the parking lot. You can then calculate which ticket you need. 1 hour is not enough. But there is nothing else between an hour and a day ticket... This is a complete rip-off for me. So, choose your day ticket and off you go...

Very cool location right on SPO Südstrand. If you think this is the expensive establishment, you're wrong. Fair prices and great food and cakes. The mudflat hikes start from here. Absolute tip to strengthen yourself before or after. The staff is very young and unfortunately that's a generation that I have problems with. They simply don't know how to behave in service. You have food, you don't have cutlery. If you have cutlery, you don't have any food and if you ask, you can't enter it digitally into the device, you wait 10 minutes.

We went to Lotti based on a recommendation. And we can clearly say that 5 out of 5 stars is 100% fair. From the staff (super friendly and funny) to the ambience and of course the delicious food 👍👍😋😋 We'll definitely be back next year

Große Herzensempfehlung für die Lotti am Südstrand! Wir waren während unseres 1-wöchigen Aufenthalts in Sankt-Peter-Ording mehrmals in der Lotti, weil es uns so gut gefallen hat - 3 mal zum Abendessen und auch mal zwischendurch für einen Drink. Das Essen war immer total lecker, als Fisch-Fans haben wir uns auf die Spezialitäten aus dem Wasser konzentriert. Tolle Zubereitung, schöne Präsentation und üppige Portionen. Natürlich haben wir auch Lottis Fischfondue im Watt probiert - mega! Als besonderes Highlight hat der Koch zu meinem Geburtstag nach Absprache mit meinem Mann ein tolles Menü gezaubert - einfach Klasse, es war ein unvergesslicher Abend! Der Service war überhaupt top - herzlich, aufmerksam und flott. Wenn das Wetter mitspielt, kann man auf der wunderschönen Terrasse den Blick schweifen lassen und die tolle Aussicht auf das Watt genießen - ein Traum. Wir kommen sicher wieder, wenn wir wieder in SPO sind.

We went to Lotti's for lunch and I'm glad I ordered the fish soup despite the warm weather - a nice rich broth that stays in your mouth for a long time and lots of pieces of fish and mussels and shrimp. The vegetable strips have a bite and go great in the soup. A highlight is definitely the bread! The fish and chips were homemade, the tartar sauce was excellent and the whole thing was presented in a rustic style. Even if the prices are a little higher: we will definitely come back again in the evening! Regionality is very important here, which is really great!
